We’ve been trying to find a silver Forester with black cloth interior. We bought an Outback from them in 2019 and have always brought it back for service. When we wanted a new Forester for my wife we made a mistake with another dealership. Our mistake and Eric rescued us. We called Browns on our way home and he found the car we wanted and got us the invoice, fair price and a way to secure the sale while we waited. Why did we ever try anyone else?
Went in to buy a new Subaru. Had chosen one, but we had to come back the next morning. We arrived just after they opened to be told the car was sold. Then they switched us to a different car. Well, ok. They then showed us the numbers, which added in thousands of dollars of various fees. They only backed off a few hundred and that was the end of the negotiations. No bringing the manager over for another look, no lowering the sales price, nothing. We were very disappointed and left with no car.
We were travelling through from out of state when our 2006 Foresters check engine light came on. Browns was the nearest Subaru dealer. I called and spoke to Angela, who immediately scheduled our car into the shop. They diagnosed the problem, reset the error code, and got us on our way in an hour. Excellent service!

I bought my Crosstrek from Brown’s and have taken it to the Service Dept now for more than 5 years. The service has been excellent — efficient, reasonable, and honest. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you have an immediate problem you can just take it in without an appointment, and nearly always it will be checked out right away. They also do a lot for the community and charities. 5 stars for sure.

I traded in a 2014 Subaru Forester XT and purchased a 2021 Forester Touring model. I am happy to say that I had an exceptionally good experience at your dealership. The best part of that experience was working with Vicky Anderson. I was very impressed with Vicky’s calm and friendly approach. She was knowledgable about the Subaru model that I was considering and helped me to select the best option choices based upon my needs. Vicky could not have been more accommodating to my schedule, listened attentively and presented a package opportunity for trade-in and new vehicle purchase that was both fair and reasonably priced. I visited another dealership and they offered to match or beat your price and I still decided to come back to Brown’s because I really liked the courteous, informed and respectful way that I was treated while at your dealership, most especially by Vicky Anderson. Eric Demby was an excellent resource as well and also helped to ultimately refine the purchase/trade in options available. Both people were a pleasure to deal with. We bought our Subaru Forester here about a couple of months ago and the sales member Erica was awesome, I would give her stars if I could. Im giving them two stars because they lack in customer service and courtesy in the financial department. My wife and I were both insulted because for some reason they kept asking for our Green Cards but we are both U.S. Citizens. Austin the financial rep that was assisting us kept requesting for our Green Cards and I kept telling him that it would be impossible because we were both citizens so we wouldnt have Green Cards. Our issue was eventually solved, but we never once received an apology or inquiry after my last interaction with Austin when I reiterated my point about our citizenship. So thank you Browns Manassas for making me and my wife feel less American.UPDATE: Updating this to 4-stars. The manager called, apologized and we spoke about the situation. The issue was with the bank, and the bank had an issue with our information apparently. However, I still think the dealership should have explained the situation a better so that we understood what was happening, as opposed to what we experienced.
Charme was a pleasure to buy from. Shes very helpful and patient. I also liked having the car sanitized and ready for a test drive when we arrived.
We requested an exterior and interior detailing on my car and still had stains like this left over. I paid $190 for this and I’m very unsatisfied with their job. After 60 mph I noticed that car was shaking as well. I was told that they would check everything on my car because I recently purchased it but there were still things that weren’t checked.

Repairs needed. Browns over the phone quote was less than other nearby Subaru dealers. Time in to time out was an hour.less.than what was quoted, and the OTD price was also less. Happy customer.

When we initially walked in, I wasnt very impressed because I had made an appointment and I still spent a fair amount of time waiting around to look at the car I had inquired about. After the test drive though the whole process was super seamless. Our salesman, Gabe, was super helpful in getting to a point where I felt comfortable with trading my previous car. If I didnt have him to talk me through the different models and be so kind and not pushy, I would not have had the enjoyable and easy process I did. EXTREMELY happy with my purchase :) He is an amazing salesman and to be honest he had me sold on the first day I went to look at the crosstrek. I just really enjoy his ability to break down all three models for me and highlight the differences, as it was hard to do that online. Got it for a great price in the exact color I wanted and he was there to walk through every process of it and kept me informed about what happening next!

They listened to me and got me the exact vehicle I wanted. They took the time to teach me about the advanced electronics and special functions of the vehicle and will meet with me again in two weeks to see if I have any questions. Had a suspicious metal grinding noise in vehicle. I needed to use vehicle next day for a 3 hour trip but was concerned about this noise that was audible while driving. I called late in afternoon to see if someone could look at vehicle the next day. I was added to appointments at their earliest convenience. I showed up around next day at 7:30am and by 8:00 the techs had found a rock lodged making the noise, removed it and NO CHARGE! I did purchase my vehicle at Browns but that was a nice surprise and efficient.

5 stars to both Shelly and the Service Department Manager. I came in to request loosening the oil drain plug so I could teach my son how to change the oil. It was so tight, i probably stripped it. Shelly without hesitation accommodated my request. As I was waiting, the service manager just took care of the oil change with no charge. I was surprised and he even offered some tips. They both deserve recognition and my appreciation. I will continue getting my service done by Browns Manassas Subaru. Thanks!
Went for an oil change, turns out I was a little early. The staff there took their time to walk everything through with me though for the other things I needed done for my car. I didnt have to wait long and everyone had PPE.
Your sales people have no interest in selling cars. My daughter was very excited about test driving and possibly purchasing a Subaru. She has been to your dealership two days in a row and not one salesman has even come out to speak to her. She said they are just gathered in the dealership talking. If you require an appointment to see a car, then someone should come out and inform your customers. She was wearing a mask both times. I would think with the Covid keeping people from shopping you would be happy to help people who are willing to come to the dealership to look for a car. She will take her business elsewhere. Don’t bother to go to this dealership their salespeople can’t be bothered to help customers!!
