Never would have imagined I would be writing this review about a men’s salon but here we are because my experience has just been that good. Not just a quality hair cut, but an enjoyable experience. So much so, I bought into their membership. Dollar for dollar an excellent value while at the same time a very high-end feel and look. Whether a cut or just a clean-up (which comes gratis with each cut) you can’t go wrong with the staff, the stylists, or the ambience. Great array of high quality products as well. Even if you’re the corner barber shop kinda guy (which after a career in the military, I was), you can’t go wrong trying this more boutique experience just once but be careful, I said the same thing now look at me writing Google reviews.

Good haircut but I felt like the staff was rude and unwelcoming.Admittedly, I was around 5 minutes late because I couldnt find parking but had called in advance to tell them.When I walked it, someone angrily told me to park in front of the barbershop, at a spot that just opened and wasnt available when I was first looking for parking. IHaircut was good though.

I love coming here. It feels like an upscale salon youd find in the city. To anyone thinking about trying a haircut here Id give it a go. Make sure to ask for Marino.

Can be viewed as expensive for some guys who are used to cutting their own hair or getting cheap not so good haircuts from the mall. This is the adult man barber shop. Worth the money and a perfect spot in all aspects, atmosphere, customer service and the quality of the cut. I recommend Marino and have gone to him for years!

Quite honestly the most consistent and stylish haircuts Ive ever gotten. Its so worth the price, and then some!I highly recommend Neli if youre a male looking for a high attention to detail fade or taper. She will literally take an entire hour just to line you up perfectly. Ive been going to her for over a year now and will keep going until I either move or die!

The Fine Men’s Salon was wonderful. Amelia was exceptional! She took the time to get to know me and to understand what I wanted my hair to look like. She was so patient and professional. Camilla, the owner, was also very sweet. She welcomed me when I walked in and made me feel comfortable. She also checked in on how my haircut was going. Lets start saying Im a VERY picky individual, like OCD picky. I visited this salon yesterday. This is NOT a cheap barbershop dressed up as a fancy salon. This is the real deal. The staff is super friendly and nice, they took their time to make me feel comfortable, and it was nice chatting with them before and after my haircut. The salon itself is sleek and upscale looking. Now, about the haircut. I picked Neli as a stylist, because I read her name in many reviews, and she was fantastic. She didnt rush any of the process, from the consult to the styling, she listened carefully at every input I gave her, and kept asking for my feedback, which I really appreciate. She is also really skilled, since I brought pictures with the haircut I wanted and she did a really great job. Moreover, she is really friendly, and it was really nice chatting while she was cutting my hair. Ill definitely go back and Ill definitely ask for her, although Im sure the other stylists are good as well. The prices are very reasonable, and they strictly follow COVID protocols. So do yourself a favor and go to this salon, you wont regret it.

Best mens haircut Ive ever gotten.

First time here, and it was a great experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I admit that I was a little reluctant to go to a mens salon, but now I cant go back to a regular barber shop. Great haircut, great service, great amenities. Itll cost you a bit more for all these extras, of course, but its worth it.

I always wondered what went on inside this magnificent place, as I had previously been a typical, meat and potatos, barber shop guy, so I finally took the plunge. I have been a devoted member ever since!Carmela, the owner, is the sweetest, hardest working, operator in the business and has created a luxurious, environment for patrons staffed with the most talented stylists in the greater NY area. The studio manager and service desk girls are wonderful. Diego, my stylist, is the best I’ve ever met (and I’m convinced- in the world). I cannot sing their praises enough.From being greeted with a coffee, beer, or beverage of your choice, to the hot stone massage, to the finest quality cut, to the hot towel face treatment (following your post-cut, second hair-washing), to Carmela’s lovely, arm/hand massage, to the finished product, all the way until the moment you walk out the door, you will not find a better experience. This Salon was formerly known as 18/8 Fine Mens Hair Salon, They have the same location and staff members as 18/8, but it had caused me a bit of confusion because my brother had been getting his haircut here for the last 8 months, and when I looked it up online, google and the 18/8 website had said it was permanently closed. Truth being they are still open, but they are no longer under the 18/8 franchise name. As I had said, my brother had been going here for a while and even though I have spent my life only going to old-school barber shops, I was blown away by his haircut on more then one occasion, so I finally decided to change my traditional way of thinking, and I was absolutely blown away, they have the nicest staff and the best service I have ever received in my life (by a landslide). My first ever appointment was today with Danielle and not only was it my best experience (amazing neck and hand massages) but after barely saying two words of the cut I wanted, she gave me the best haircut of my life, exactly what I wanted with a very mild modification that i never knew i would look good on me. Thank you Danielle for your expertise, I can see this wasnt your first rodeo!!! Wish I could give 10 stars out of five!!!!!!!!

Appointments are on time and another plus is you can schedule appointments online, which is a big plus for me as my schedule is hectic.My stylist Diego rocks. He certainly has dispelled the notion that a barber is a barber and a haircut is a haircut. The amount of time he spends on my hair surpasses all my prior cuts. This certainly is not your generic haircut. He does amazing work. My wife states it is the best haircuts I have received since we have been together, and that is over 30 years. He discusses styling tips and products at every haircut. You can tell he is a professional and takes pride in his work. Another great touch, after your haircut, is a second hair wash to remove all the loose hair as well as a hot towel face treatment.
