Good place for a quick decent haircut

I have been going to this barber shop for the past year and I always leave extremely satisfied. There is rarely a line and the place itself is cleanly and tidy. I highly recommend this place.

Pleasant barbers, nice job on haircut

Had a wonderful haircut with David who really took his time and made sure I was totally satisfied. Also they, did a good job at taking proper COVID precautions and with a mask+shield I felt safe. Hot towel shave was a splurge for me but was definitely the royal treatment as advertised and David was so nice I didnt feel bad about spending extra. Thinking about this being a regular spot!

The barbers here are all highly professional, attentive, and detail-oriented. An old school kind of barber shop that will give you a great fresh look.

Got my hair cut there today for the first time since March, because of covid-19. The guys are efficient, they do a good job and are friendly enough. Those are the things that I think most people are looking for in a barber shop.

Really great visit today. This was my first time at Garys and I was lucky enough to get David as barber. He was enthusiastic and talented and I will be going back. Did great with my balding head and overly bushy beard.If you have a beard, this is THE place.

Garys is a great place to get a cut thats easy on the wallet. Theyre great with kids too!Im in and out every time, and I leave 100% satisified with the cut.And if you usually get your cut from one barber dont be afraid to try the others if your usual has a long wait, theyre all incredible at what they do.

No matter how crazy life gets, I can always count on receiving a great cut at the Royal Barbershop. With most barbers Ive been to, Ive had to choose between speed and quality - not here. I really appreciate the attention to detail that Gary shows, and the fact that he works quickly is a great bonus. Throw in low prices, great service, hours that accommodate my schedule, a laid back atmosphere, and a convenient location near the Metro North stop, and I couldnt be happier. Overall, I highly recommend the Royal Barbershop.

Gary gives great haircuts, and does it fast. The other guys that work for him are also great and do a good job too. My daughter loves it when I need a haircut, because he always has a lollipop dish for her to choose from, while she waits for me to get my haircut.

I went in for a shape up on my undercut. Gary, the owner was courteous professional and expeditious. As a woman its always a little intimidating going into a barber shop but I felt very comfortable; he seemed to have a good amount of experience doing undercuts for women. Ladies - if you want an undercut or need a touch up - Gary is the man. I love my haircut, it looks great!

Ive taken my kids to four other barbers in the area and Im settled on Garys. He and his staff give great cuts for my kids. Even did an awesome job on my 1 year old. Cut his hair fast with the scissors before he had a chance to start acting up. Gary claimed he is a baby whisperer and I agree. :)

Awesome experience. They did a great job with my 4yr olds first barber shop haircut. My son was a total menace--kicking, crying, yelling and Gary didnt bat an eye. He was so nice and patient, clearly experienced with dealing with children, and knew just how to calm him down. My son left asking to go back with Dad (which we definitely will do) and he got a great haircut. Fantastic barber shop!

One of the best barbers Ive been to, although the shop can get busy their is little to no wait time as Gary can cut your hair any type of way in 10-15 mins no longer then that. He is extremely good at fades but can also do traditional haircuts just as good. Shout out to Mike and Gary

The barber that cut my hair didn’t know what he was doing and constantly had to be helped on how I wanted to cut my hair. I thought it was not worth the money that I spent on the haircut and can’t see my self every going back to them again. Sorry

Professional service and great cut by Gary & his staff

I am really fond of this barbershop as it is the only one that can get my kids haircuts on point. My 2 year old and 7 year old, like many, get a bit fussy when it comes to their haircuts. When i first came in with my sons, I was already prepared for the waterworks, but was very surprised by the way the barber, Gary, handled the situation. He put my sons on the kids barber chair, which they absolutely loved, and was cracking jokes to make them laugh, get comfortable, and stay calm. He was really good with my both my sons. Now we look forward to getting our haircut and my boys even refer to him as the red race car guy. Personally, I get very picky about my sons haircuts and cant trust anyone but Gary or Mike. The two provide a professional and friendly environment and they can always crack jokes and put big smiles on peoples faces as soon as they walk in to the shop. They are able to make both my sons and husband look great. Two thumbs way up !!

I personally didnt like the guy name Gary .He talks about his customers after they leave. Just within minutes i get there and waited for my kids turn Gary was starting to cut this kids hair and the kid was crying because he wanted the car seat to get his haircut done in. So the mom is talking to her probably 3 year old kid and tells her kid look daddy is getting a hair cut too which dad was getting a hair cut also .kid is crying.. The haircut is done and they leave, first thing Gary says that kid reminded me of why i dont wanna have kids in my opinion not professional at all and it takes a REAL man to be a parent.. After that this teenager comes into the shop and sits down then the teenager gets up and goes outside. Teenager comes back in the shop and Gary says What! your friends are busy overthere refering to a near by barbershop and trying to embarrassing him infront of other people. Again to me that wasnt professional or necessary. The teenager waited for his turn but Gary kept skipping him for other people that had just gotten there..Then Gary asks this one guy Where do you get your haircuts at? guy replies bronx gary chuckles with this im better than you laugh...in my humble opinion If you dont have the patience for kids or teenagers then dont do it... But Dont treat Customers like that because you never know what impression you are making.. Me personally will never go back to this shop. And if you Do. Make sure you meet Garys standards which are dont be a Kid.
