The team at the Mamaroneck Mavis store were extremely professional. Pete especially was super communicative from the time we dropped off the car. I also had my dad get his car serviced, they finished both within the time quoted and offered discounts without even asking automatically. Will be going back for sure in the future.

I hit a really bad pothole at 2am and both my passenger front and low tires went flat. I was 2 hours away from home and couldn’t get my car towed all the way there. The tow truck driver suggested this Mavis location because it was close. I had the car towed there and left my key in the overnight mail slot. I called after they opened and I spoke to Dan. My car wasnt inspected yet but based on my description of what happened Dan ordered 2 replacement tires right away so that they would be there same day in case I needed them. Unfortunately He called back to inform me that my rim was damaged and could not be repaired. I was able to get a friend to take me down to the shop and they showed me the damage. The wheel shop that they worked with was closed for the holiday and we were looking at a 3-4 day turnaround time for a replacement wheel. Luckily I keep my winter wheels and tires at another friends house. I made arrangements to pick them up and bring them to the shop. They were very patient and kept my car on the lift the whole time. After I brought the wheels over they began working on removing my winter tires and transferring my summer tires over. They reached out because I forgot to give them my wheel key and wasnt sure where I had it stored but they were able to find it. One of my winter tire was damaged in the process, but Pete replaced it free of charge. My car was too low for the alignment rack so they didn’t want to take the risk of damaging it. They spent a considerable amount of time calling other locations in NJ until they found one with a recessed lift that could accommodate my car. The level of Service I received from Pete, Dan, and tech was above and beyond what I expected from anywhere. I was running on very little sleep and worried that my whole week was ruined, but they went above and beyond in helping me as much as they could and made the repair process not just hassle free but pleasant. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone I know in the area.

Highly recommend this establishment. The outstanding customer service and attention to detail they provide is something Everyone is looking for. This particular location has it all and seems very sincere! Look forward returning for years to come with any of my vehicles!

Got in car for road trip with 4 kids and a dog on a Sunday and my tire light was on. Our usual place was closed so I Brought it into Mavis and they had us in and out in 30m, kids didn’t even get out of the car! They checked for nails and filled up the tires - gave me peace of mind to head on our way. They didn’t even charge bc everything was ok….will most definitely be using them for tires going forward!

I had a blow out on 95 today and was towed to Mavis in Mamaroneck. They didnt have the tire I needed but changed the tire out for me quickly and at no charge. After taking one look at the tire they knew why I was so spooked. Their graciousness was such a sorely needed bit of kindness. Im going to Mavis for tires from here on out of appreciation. Everyone in the shop was so nice its worth a little extra drive.

Im the owner of a semi pro football team. The Queens Huskies. 16 of my guys and I were on our way to a game in CT. when my passenger side tire got a flat. After being stuck on the highway for about and hour. I finally got the spear tire on. It wasnt in good shape tho. I found this Mavis about 2 miles away. I drove the van there slowly. After I arrived I spoke with the Manger about the issue. He took the van in and fixed the flat. He then changed the tire back to the original, then he put the spear back under the van. After all that I asked him what I owed him. He said dont worry about it. He then asked me whats my team name and said he will look us up on Facebook and YouTube. He ended by saying go Huskies. I thank him and even offered him a tip, he refused. What a nice guy. I wish there were more people like this. 💯 💯💪🏿💪🏿‼️

I had an 2 o’clock appointment to have one tire balanced . At the time of the appointment the man behind the counter told me he wasn’t gonna be able to take my car today because he claimed he had other cars ahead of mine. He suggested I leave my car overnight or come back the next day. To have an appointment and not take my car I find that to be very unprofessional especially considering that I did not get a call or email that my appointment was canceled. I’m not going back the next day to a place of business that does not honor their appointments and their customers time . There’s plenty other tire shops around.

I would like to start off by saying Dan, Pete & Carlos are absolutely amazing. I was NEVER going to do business with Mavis again because of the PORT CHESTER location. My girlfriend took her car there because of a problem with a tire I had insurance on. They didnt change the tire and was rude to her so I filed a complaint. Someone recommended the MAMARONECK location so I gave it a try on Sunday the 25th. I was there at 9am and The guys were so pleasant and professional, they had me laughing telling stories. They said it would take a while because they were short mechanics and to leave the car. I received a call at 10:30am saying the car was ready.. I couldnt believe it was so fast. They knew the tires were insured so the cost was incredibly low. Its because of the MAMARONECK location I will continue doing business with Mavis. I highly suggest that if you live in this area... Take your vehicle to MAMARONECK MAVIS.. They truly are the best.... Keep up the great work guys!!!!!!

Called mavis to have them take off winter tires and put on all season, was told the wait would be an hour. Confirmed appointment and I drove an hour out of my way to mamaroneck based on the confirmation. Upon arrival, was told it would be at least 3-4 hours. Guy at the shop was unapologetic - you guys really need to figure out a much better service model.

When I purchased a set of tires, I asked for a 10% essential staff discount that is still available online when I write this review. The clerk refused to apply it, saying that the program ended months ago.I reached out to the corporate about it. They made the store manager -Chris- called me who apologized and said the new clerk did not know about the discount. But the manager refused to honor the discount, did not even offer a store credit.I contacted the corporate office a second time. No response ever since.I gave up getting the discount back. And I gave up on Mavis. So did my fellow firefighters.

I went there for breaks and had 4 tires balanced. The work was excellent and finished everything in a timely fashion. I would recommend.

Have been coming to the Mamaroneck NY location for more then 15 years. Always leave relieved! This Sunday was no exemption. Henry was so personable and involved in my situation regarding my tires. That’s a great calming trait especially in these uncertain times. Shout out to Henry and the entire team at Mavis tires Mamaroneck NY!

Use to be a good spot, but just bought tires and had them ship there for installation, noticed all my lugs are now damaged. What ever they used removed the chrome from the top of the lugs and left a chip which is now rusting. Dont think I will use this location again! Did about 5 services at the dealer w/tire rotations and no issues until now.

Worst service ever. I scheduled a 10AM appointment specifically being told I would be finished by 12:30. I show up for service and am told that I must drop off the car and it wont be ready until 4PM. What was the point of scheduling an appointment if the retailer is not going to live up to their commitment

I have used this Mavis location a number of times for service on my vehicles. Ive always been very happy with the quality and speed of service, as well as the pricing. In particular, I appreciate that Mavis has some private-brand offerings, such as tires, that are more affordable than major brands and are just as good in quality.

I had unexpected tire problems so I just kinda popped up. Easy and fast service. I was able to leave my vehicle for service and was called in a timely manner when it was ready.

It could have been any easier. Made reservations the day before and took me in finished in 2 hrs but I told them no rush. Have a discount and really no wait at register. Plus I live a block away.

Went on 11/6/19 to get my winter tires installed. Staff is amazing. Thank you all for youre help. Price to get them installed was also best in town. The guy that owns the Chrysler 300 did an amazing job answering the phone that never stopped ringing while dealing with a full line in front of him.

I just brought my car in for service I needed one tire since I hit a curb Henry came out looked at my car showed me how dangerous the front two tires were ...both were bald... he told me to change not one but both due to the excessive wear...he took the time to explain everything and once he showed me it was pretty self-evident. Henry got me two nice Perelli‘s at a great price and mavis looked at every single tire since I was having problems with tire pressure and looked for nails they did a great job..I could not be happier with the friendly atmosphere and the great service HENRY thank you so much for taking care of me I do appreciate it and I will recommend your tire center to anyone who needs it.. Wow. What great service with a smile. Christopher Permamatzis helped me today. He really went above and beyond to help me get the best prices and to expedite the process of getting all of the necessary work done. He answered my questions and volunteered much needed information. I cant help remarking on how incredibly NICE this guy is too. I left feeling good about the whole experience, including the pleasant wait time and about my beautiful new tires and windshield wipers.

Awesome staff Jaime and Chris is one of the best pair both polite, great people skills and know there stuff. The mechanic is fast and affective. I now see a change in this location a change for the better.

I reserved tires and installation on their website. Chris was polite, and helped us get the tires we needed for our car. He did try to upsale us, which is to be expected, but he was not pushy. Overall great experience and I will definaly be back whenever I need new tires.

Wow what a wonderful experience i had today. I tell you, I have been using Mavis for a very long time but for a while this location left me with so many bad experiences. But today i was proven wrong the waiting area was clean so was the bathrooms, the Shop Manager Jaime was one of the best ones so far ive seen in this location. He was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns as well as provided me with different options of tires. I went with the Good Years. He then took me in to the shop to show me that i was in need of suspension work, I admit i knew my truck might need them i have been feeling the ride go from great to bumpy these last couple of months. He gave me a great price quote for them trust me i called around as i waited for my tires to be put on my truck but i was not able to do the work today but will be back soon. Jaime was great and thanks to him i will be back. Thank you Jaime you are a great asset to the company.

Best Experience. Very Satisfied with the quality of Service and Work ive received today from Jaime the Service Manager and his team members. I was able to fix my car which needed Brake Pads, Rotors 2x Calipers and Struts and working with Jaime since yesterday trying to figure out my best options he delivered for me a great price. I will be bringing these guys some lunch for there great service. Jaime Thank you again i will see you soon for my rear shocks.

If I could give zero stars I would, I had them mountbrear shocks on my jeep, they broke one of the mounting brackets, thankfully I had a spare, then a week later my left rear shock came off the jeep, it cost me a $200 tow, $500 to replace the shock, $100 to get another bracket seeing they broke the second, and to add salt to a wound, they snapped two of the lug stems and never said a word, just put the lug cover back on and let me ride around with only 3 out of the five lugs, I called to speak to the manager and I have heard nothing but crickets, dont waste your money, they will damage your vehicle and cost you more then you bargained for!!

Update: 5/25. Cars been making sounds, notciably around 55-60mph, called to make an appointment but too busy to look at the work they did, so thats frustrating. I get people get busy but this is your work, now I need to find a less convenient Mavis...hopefully its nothing serious.Original: 5/21. My tire torn on the highway the evening before, not to mention another one had a bubble in the side wall. I was able to get an appointment next day. Apparently the tires for my Subaru arent usually kept in stock but the guy( I believe his name was Yruis?- sorry) was so helpful and really seemed to treat the situation like it was his own car. However, after reviewing the invoice I see there was an additional charge for a tire warranty I didnt ask for. It wasnt an astronomical amount, and I am not sure if thats a standard charge. Tires for $130 each(2) but in the end it was an additional $100 for everything else, seems like alot but I havent needed tires in awhile. Besides that, if they werent trying to get one over on me, it was a simple, good experience.

Had a tire rod pretty much fused on. They got it off, went the extra mile to make sure everything was installed, and aligned the car. Definitely coming back the next time I need some professional assistance.

Called to get a quote to get my brakes done and although it seemed busy Jason was able to give me a good quote and was able to come in a Sunday at around 2:30 pmUriel was extremely friendly and helpful. The crew was quick and I was happy with my results.Originally, months ago I didnt have the greatest experience but this time everything was great and I look forward towards establishing a great relationship.

Dropped of my car to replace my worn rear tires. Then asked to have the tires rotated so the new tires would be on the front. They said it would be done by 4. I get there at 4 and its not done but the wrap it up soon after. Then I see they replaced one rear tire and one front tire. I explain that they needed to replace the old rear tire with the front tire they removed. I review this with the tech and the manager until they get it. Then we walk back inside, the tech walls out the back and the manager informs me Ill need to wait awhile because the tech is on lunch. After a bit I think he realized that was ridiculous and pulled the car and himself and had another technician fixed the issue. There was no compensation offered for the inconvenience of having to wait on additional 45 minutes.

Was told I couldn’t get an Alignment because my brakes were locking up. My truck was sitting for a week with new brakes and they were sticking. They told me it was a liability and would not work on my truck the funny thing is when doing an Alignment the brakes have absolutely nothing to do with it. I spoke to two mechanics they couldn’t even understand or make sense of what they were saying. Long story short I brought it two a “ professional “ who did it no problem and also had asked me if my truck was ever aligned before and I him them Mavis he said that the only thing they touched were the tow bars. End of story is my truck is done couldn’t be happier never going to spend another dollar at that place again.

I had a great experience at Mavis in Mamaroneck. I dropped off my car early for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was polite, my car was done early and at a reasonable price.I will definitely return.

I have come here multiple times and every time is worse than the last. I will not be returning! I dropped my car off at 11:30 for a wheel alignment that should take max 30 mins. They said it would take an hour and a half to get it in the garage which I was fine with. 4 hours later and it is still in the parking lot. When I asked what’s going on they said it was really busy. There was only 3 cars there when I arrived and they were not even in the garage or parking lot anymore. If I could do zero stars I would.

They will tell you anything to get you to bring your car in and then you get a run around and hope your getting what you asked for and the for the right price. Make sure you have some knowledge of what you need done and what you dont need done. GOOD LUCK

Absolutely horrible. Aside from the rude treatment to customers, they can’t even properly do an oil change. They ended up leaving a washer in while changing the oil and ended up flooding the engine as I was leaving to drive home. When I had asked them to turn off the check oil light, they had to YouTube it to figure out how to turn it off. Embarrassing. That’s like going to the Doctor’s for a surgery to then watch the Doctor YouTube how the surgery is done - all right in front of the customer!! Even after I had expressed my concern considering past experiences, I was told nothing was wrong. Later of course I’d discover that my engine was flooded! Great job Mavis! If you deal with Mike, good luck! He sure knows how to speak to customers - argues and expresses his “experience” which comes across as quite lacking as he YouTubes to figure out how to properly do his job!

This place has great deals on tires and a very helpful staff! Very polite and Jonathan explained things to me very clear. Great place to come to for any problems with your vehicle .

Went in couple of weeks ago for simple tire plug - plugged after about a couple hours - kept hearing noise from wheel when driving at low speeds - thought maybe a pebble somehow got inside rim - attached pic is what they left inside my wheel - cant make this stuff up!

Driving home at the end of a very long day, my indicator light turned on and a quick leak left me with a flat tire. Exhausted, I called the Mavis in Mamaroneck and Jonathan answered in a friendly voice and assured me he could squeeze me in that evening. The crew at Mavis got me in and out quickly and efficiently during a busy service period. My entire experience from start to finish was easy and pleasant. They turned a potentially bad night into a simple process. Thanks guys Ill be back, but hopefully not too soon!

So I brought my car in to get the front driver side tire replaced. I was told my the manager (Avila) that the rear passenger side also needed to be replaced as it was worn down. I said ok go ahead and replace it. Was told it would take an hour/ hour and a half to fix which wasn’t a problem. 5 hours later I see the workers joking around, going outside to get ice cream meanwhile I’m still waiting for my car. When I got my car back I noticed that the tire light was still on, I brought it to their attention and they brushed me off. Next morning I’m getting ready to go on a trip and I noticed I had a flat tire on the rear driver side. I also realized that was a new tire which confused me cause I wasn’t supposed to get a new tire there. I looked at the bill and realized they put THREE tires on my car instead of TWO and they charged me for it. I called immediately and told them they gave me an extra tire that I did not authorize and that tire also had a flat. They also changed the lug nuts on that wheel without telling me and the lug nuts did not fit my car jack. I then had to pay for someone to come out and change the tire since I couldn’t get it off myself. I brought the car back and they claimed they fixed the problem, when I brought up the third tire that they put on my car they told me there was nothing they could do about it. They put a brand new tire on my car without my permission then charged me and basically said oh well. There was never anything wrong with my tire or that wheel and they refused to refund me or do anything for me. I go home and the next morning I get up to go to work only to come outside and see I have a flat tire yet again from the same tire. I had to bring the car back to their shop, at no point did they ever apologize or even seem to care that they not only over charged me, but did a crappy job on my car in which I have had to come back numerous times for them to fix it properly. They get done fixing the car and had the audacity to say “we aren’t going to charge you for it.” I also overheard a woman complain that they did something to her car without telling her, so this seems to be a common thing with them on doing work to peoples car without telling them then charging them for it. Their customer service is horrible and the manager has a nasty attitude. It’s a shame cause I have gone to them in the past and the old manager was great and I never had a problem with them before. Avoid going here, they don’t do a good job and they will look to just make money off of you by doing things to your car that you didn’t ask.

I woke up Sunday morning to 2 tires almost completely flat. With no appointment I drove to the shop which opened promptly at 9. Within 5 minutes I knew I had come to the right place. Eric and Uriel were great. They listened to my needs and delivered on product, price and timeliness meeting all my expectations. Thanks!!!

Unclear if they are incompetent or deceptive.Called in a day in advance to make sure they have my tires in stock. They confirmed. Told them I was interested in waiting at the shop and replacing four tires ASAP. Checked in the next day. They took the wheels off and then the tires off the rims. Ninety minutes into it they told me they did not have my tires in stock but should get them delivered in the afternoon. Wasted two hours for nothing.

The only good thing about this place is the low prices. They like to tell you on the phone that they aren’t busy and the work will take a half hour and you’ll be in and out. Then when you get there ten minutes later they tell you it’s going to be hours to have something done. Very unprofessional and rude to customers.After I had my tire replaced the low pressure light was still on. They told me all the levels were perfectly set and it was good to go. Then they told me I needed to drive a bit and the light would reset itself. Thought that was weird because any time I’ve had work done on my wheels before I haven’t had to do that. Sure enough the light was still on after multiple drives. Called my car’s dealership to check if my car typically would need to be driven to reset the light and they told me that what the guys at Mavis said isn’t true at all. I went back in to get it checked out and it turns out that’s they hadn’t filled the tires the right amount and every tire had the wrong pressure. If the staff aren’t even competent enough to double check the tire pressure before giving a car back to a customer, I don’t want to know what else they could mess up. Never going back to this location again.Update: the tire pressure light kept coming back on even though the tire pressure was fine. I brought it in to another Mavis & they wouldn’t do anything for it either. Took it to a new place and it turns out the TPMS was broken off and loose inside my tire from Mavis putting on the new tire. Thankfully when I went in again today to get a refund the district manager was in & immediately approved it so I didn’t have to continue arguing with Jose. Still not planning on going back anytime soon, but at least upper management knows how to handle bad situations.

The guys behind the desk are some of the dumbest people I’ve ever met. Place is a joke. All the 5 star reviews are fake in reality it should be 0 stars and closed indefinitely this location is terrible all around not good for anything.

Ive gone to this Mavis several times for tires and oil changes. Last time I was there for a tire it was supposed to be an hour, since I had an early appointment. 2 hours later, I left and went to pick the car up that night and it took another hour and a half for the car to be done with no real explination of why, so I filed a complain with the DM. Today, I walked in for an oil change and dropped the car off at 9:30. I was called at 11:15 to pick up the car so I got there at 11:30. The car was shortly completed. I noticed the oil meter was not recet on my Infiniti. I told them and this wasnt the first time. Im now waiting well over an hour. They cant figure out how to reset the meter showing full oil. Its uncomfortable that a Mavis which does pull changes all day cant figure out how to reset the meter on a 2017 Infiniti.I wouldve given them 1 star, but the desk staff is friendly, and the prices are good. Plus they dont pressure you into spending more money. Still very unacceptable that they cant figure out how to reset an oil meter on a car, didnt communicate with me well and thought it was ok to just not do it.. 😡

I went in for 4 more Continental DWSs but they suggest some Pirelli P7s which were at a great price because of stock and a better tire on paper. I got a great deal and a spot-on alignment from David. My car is rolling real nice right now and I was very pleased with the service and time it took. Thanks Guys.

Not a good experience. I was the first customer for an oil change. They opened late and then told me I could wait for my car. 90 minutes later, after telling me I needed new struts and front bakes, my oil change was completed.Second visit for inspection. Same routine. They told me I was next in line. 90 minutes later my car was returned to me after telling me again I needed new struts and brakes. I will not return to this Mavis location. Inefficient and pushy.
