First time getting a hair cut in years . . . normally i do it myself and should of just kept my money. I’m not the type to write reviews but i’m highly embarrassed, disappointed and my experience felt extremely uncomfortable. I called in to schedule an appointment. went there with a idea in mind as well as a photo of the idea and walked out crying because i don’t know if this was done intentionally or if the person just wasn’t good with designs. i can honestly understand if someone isn’t good with designs just say that i won’t be mad but to leave a chair with basically a bald spot . . . that’s embarrassing. i truly don’t know what to do at this point but just wear a hoodie or hat till my hair grows back. a photo of what i asked for verses what i got

A friend specifically sent me to DAVE, and he didnt disappoint. Heading into a barbershop in the middle of a pandemic was a nerve-wracking experience. However, Dave and the rest of the staff made me and (presumably) the other customers feel extremely comfortable. The atmosphere was loose but safe. Masks and hand sanitizer everywhere.Be sure to make appointments in advance!

Man, book ahead of time! Sometimes I have to book 3 days in advance but honestly its completely worth it.. Bill is my go-to but giving Long and Dave a chance you will never leave disappointed. They have so much pride in their work, you can definitely see and feel the difference. Bill is my go to barber. I actually travel over an hour just to get my haircut here because I know that he’s the best. Even when the shop is completely busy with people waiting in line, Bill always takes time to ensure the cut comes out perfect. I love that fact that you can makeall your appointments online which limits a lot of the waiting around you do at other barbershops ! I totally recommend this barbershop get in there and get a fresh cut 💈

I met Long (the owner) several years ago at my gym, and we became workout friends. I didnt want to cheat on my old barber, so it took me a while before I had Long cut my hair. I should have broken up with my old barber from the beginning - Long is the best! Hes been cutting my hair now for over 3 years, and I always leave happy. When he moved the shop from Everett to Saugus and then opened a second shop in Malden, I followed him each time. Hes a great barber, and an all-around great guy. The other barbers (Dave & Bill) are great too and create a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Theyve usually got some good music playing in the background or something interesting on the flat-screen TV. Making an appointment is easy on your phone (just download the Genbook app). Long, Dave, & Bill all have their regulars - so make sure to book ahead online in order to get a great haircut!

If youre looking for a quality and fast service, dont go to this place.I went there on a Monday afternoon to get an easy 10 min buzz cut and they said they do not take walk-ins, even though they had 3 open seats. Then I reasonably scheduled an appointment for the next day at 1:30 PM with David, arrived there 10 minutes early but he had already start a different haircut with another person. Waited 40 minutes for him to finish it, but he didnt. So I left.Barbers, if you have an appointment in the middle of a week day, it probably means your costumer DOES NOT HAVE TIME available to wait. Maybe if you focused more on work and less on chatting around with you other co-workers, you could keep up with your daily schedule.

You know that feeling when you have an incredible haircut? A haircut so good that it makes all problems go away and everythings good in the world? You get that with Chris and this shop. Since Ive had chris as my barber my hair has been on point and I cant imagine going anywhere else. This shop is really convenient to get to and is in a great location with plenty of parking and close to the T (seriously you wont have any problems). Be smart and go here.

After trying a bunch of barbershops that were all the same n a dime a dozen mind you in this particular area, I tried Black Label and been loyal since!! The atmosphere is great and you can relax and have a great time, even if you’re just waiting for a cut. It’s that great of a place. Besides the quality of the shop the quality of the haircuts all the barbers here give are top quality because they don’t rush and they focus on you and make you feel comfortable. I’m from Malden and I can definitely it’s the best shop in Malden!!

This is a horrible place my name is Dale and It was my first time going. I went to see Dave and it said on the site he was a master barber. That was a lie!!! First he did not give me the fade I asked for and he messed up the whole back of my head and went extremely high. He did not use the blade to line me up, but used it on the client before me. He also did not use the blade on my eyebrows either. I payed35 and extra on tip for a horrible haircut! Because of this I had to go to another barber and have them fix my cut. Also he did not use the mirror on me so I can see my whole head after the cut. He doesnt know how to cut African American hair correctly. I aslo asked him to cut a little off the top in the front of my hair and he did not. This is not cool not only for me but for any client. I definititely do not recommend going to stick to the barber you know. I wish I can post pictures to show you proof. When my girlfriend seen it the look on her face said it all. I will no longer giving be giving my service to this place or my money.Dale Gooding
