Its unfortunate that I have to write this as Dave of DK Tree was very responsive in the beginning; however, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He took 3 trees down for us and left all of the Tree Logs. Our backyard is a mess with all of the tree log remnants and we cant even enjoy it safely with our kids. He insisted that a Deposit is required for this type of work and before the job was completed, we regrettably paid him in full. It has been weeks he still has not returned to COMPLETE the job and remove the logs from our property. Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He will leave before the job is done and hustle you for the money. Im shocked he is still in business. I hope he gets the help he needs and doesnt continue to burn customers but BEWARE before you hire DK.He is getting this review because he has been unresponsive in correcting the mess he left us with. He basically robbed use by taking our money upfront without providing the full service he promised. Not only are we left with the Large Tree Logs, but he was supposed to grind the stumps, which are still in place.

Do not hire DK Tree Experts in Madison, NJ if you want a contractor to follow up and complete the job as agreed and paid to do. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review because my first time hiring DK tree went off without a hitch at a good price and as scheduled (which is why I am not giving DK tree only 1 Star) However, after hiring DK tree experts this past spring to remove 3 trees and grind the stumps I have gotten nothing but the runaround, excuses, and false promises for over 6 months on when DK tree experts would send someone to complete the job as paid and grind my 3 stumps. Therefore after recommending DK tree to neighbors in the past as matter of principle I am writing this review telling all others do not hire DK tree in Madison NJ if you want the job completed as agreed.

Ive used DK several times, they do great work and are very reasonable. Dave is really nice to work with as well. Highly recommended!

I have called Dave at all hours for trees on buildings. He always promptly responds. He recently called to ask if my call was urgent. It was not. He is very talented in getting places others cannot get to.

Great experience. Dave was very accommodating in finding a time to provide a quote, and his price was extremely competitive. He and his crew did the job two days later quickly, and the cleanup was thorough. Recommended!UPDATE: I guess these guys are very busy. Contacted them over a month ago about some work and was told they’d get back to me. Never did and ignored another call.I can’t fault them for the work they do - it was good and affordable - but seems like they don’t want additional business from me.

DK Tree Experts were a pleasure to use. In the beginning of the year, I had a tree branch go through my roof at night during a winter storm and they were the only ones to respond that night and come first thing in the am to take it out and patch it up. They even recommended a great roof company that I used. I recently used them again for tree trimming/removal and they were very responsive and did a great and fast job for a very good price. Would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again for future tree related needs.

After calling a few tree removal companies, Dave was the only one that responded in a timely manner. Gave us a date, price and contract quickly. Dave and his crew did an amazing job and were very easy to work with.

Called DK and a few other tree places on a recent December morning regarding a huge decaying tree in the backyard area. David from DK called me back in a matter of minutes (While the other tree companies took 4-5 hrs. and even a day later to return my call)He came right out, accessed the situation and provided me with an extremely fair quote/price. He was also ready to start the job the next day. Showed up on time, did an amazing job and even cleaned up my backyard to perfection after all of the tree cutting/grinding was complete. I hired DK Tree to remove an old dying tree in my yard and they went above and beyond. They even removed the dead branches in the surrounding trees. I also had the crew remove the stump the following day. They were professional and knowledgeable. The crew left the property as clean as it was when they arrived. Their price was the best I found in the area and it was more than fair. I highly recommend DK Tree for any tree work.

David and team did a great job! I received 5 quotes and they were the cheapest by several hundred dollars. They were very prompt and attentive and took care of everything quickly. Id highly reco them to anyone and would use them again if I needed their service at any point in the future.

Dave and his crew came up to my mothers home after the sandy storm and worked all day cleaning up a massive amount of damage, they had also helped both of my neighbors get out of there driveways which were blocked by fallen trees. they did above and beyond what they said they would do and for a reasonable rate. I hired Dave and his team to remove 2 HUGE piles of fallen trees/limbs as well as fall a massive dead 4 trunk tree and clean vines and dead limbs from 3 other trees 80ft up in the canopy. It was a full days job but they were fast, professional and friendly despite the blistering heat and humidity not too mention the 30 degree hillside slope on which they were working. The trees never looked better! Their price was the best I found in the area and was more than fair.
