A great place to get spruced up! The staff is ultra friendly and courteous. They provide beverages while you wait to be called back to your chair. The stations are all-in-one, so no getting up to go shampoo at a different station. They are very professionally arranged and organized with your barbers credentials clearly displayed. My artist was Krista and she took GREAT care of me. She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted for my hair and beard appearance, then took the time to make recommendations. She was a seasoned professional with the straight razor, her deft strokes felt like she was simply wiping my face with silk, but the shave was close as you could want and the lines were crisp and clean. The fade was expertly done with a uniform gradient from bald to short. She made sure the temperature of the hot towel and rinse water was to my liking. The neck and shoulder massage kicked up the level of relaxation to an all time high. Overall a very pleasing experience. Well worth the money. Ive already made my next appointment.

I called to schedule an appointment; Unfortunately, the lady who picked up the call (Stephanie?) was rude - interrupted me several times while I was trying to confirm the service I wanted and the time; it felt like she wanted me off the phone.While I did manage to get an appointment for next week, upon reflection, the conversation that happened did not sit well with me - especially the part went the lady told me, I dont want to spend all day with you., do I called back and canceled.Look, I get it; a person creating appointments, you want to be off the phone as soon as possible to be on the next call. Im not oblivious to this fact since I happen to be a manager in a Call Center, but there are better ways to communicate and dont make person on the other side feels like if they are bothering you.I used to be a long-time Whiskers customer, I used to have service once every 2/3 months, and it used to be great. I took a break due to the pandemic, and this latest appointment was some return to normalcy for me. Not sure if the pandemic caused some changes to this business or not.

October 2021 marks 40 years that I grew my beard. I have never had it professionally trimmed, until today, 9/23/21. I dont know why I have waited so long. It was a great experience! I highly recommend Whiskers.

I just moved here from the New Orleans area a couple of months ago. I was with my last barber for 7 years in NOLA. Its always worrying trying to find a new a barber. Whiskers had everything I was looking for in a new barbershop so I gave it a chance. Amber M did a phenomenal job with my cut and beard trim. The straight razor line up on my beard and neck were great. Brittany and Leann took care of my two sons and they both loved their cuts too! My boys now have their own profiles set up there thanks to Stephanie and we will be back in 4 weeks.

I got my undercut shaved here with a design by Amber M and I loved it. She did a fantastic job and I will definitely be coming back regularly. Everything was clean and professional. I definitely would recommend this place to a friend.

Im not someone who usually goes to get groomed and guccied up but I have to say, my initial visit to Whiskers was extraordinary! From the moment the wife and I walked in the door the staff was exceedingly pleasant provided a ton of info and recommendations and just made the whole experience overall extremely inviting! My amazing stylist, Amber Miller, took a good look at my beard and came up with a game plan and recommendations and away we went! Staff even came over and sat with my wife and talked while we were there making the visit even more pleasant! Lined up, faded, trimmed, you name it, Amber did it all!!!!! Highly recommended and definitely a repeat customer!!!!

Lady at the front desk was really nice, check me in right away and then asked if I’d like something to drink. This was my first time and I liked the decor and atmosphere. Facility is pretty large. I took my 15 yr old son there to fix a really bad haircut from Great Clips. Appointment was right on time and Krista fixed the hot mess great clips did. She was cool and made sure my son liked everything she did and asked many questions about how he would like his hair. I wish I had initially went to Whiskers/Krista first so we could have gotten exactly what he wanted and avoided the GC mess up. Going to see Krista again in 3 weeks.

Jessica P is an amazing barber. My son started seeing her 2 years ago when he was 3. She is so patient with him and always delivers exactly what HE wants. We would follow her anywhere but we do enjoy the charm and atmosphere of Whiskers. Little guy likes going with his Dad for guy time.

Ive been going to Whiskers since 2017 and thought Id finally leave a review. Ive had a few different barbers in that span. Each time Ive always been nicely greeted at the front desk, asked if I want any drinks, followed by a quick and clean haircut. Its certainly a little more expensive than somewhere like cost cutters, but its well worth it.

Wait time was minimal. Haircut was great and a very relaxing experience. Pricing is also very fair and you get what you pay for.I’m planning on getting a cut here every 3-4 weeks and the only thing I would want is the option for hair coloring. When I asked about it I was told they had it before but it wasn’t frequently used.If that’s the case would it be possible to have a referral discount or something to a place that could do it?Otherwise I wouldn’t change a thing. Great place.

First time visit with Krista. Very nice, clean place where you can have a free beverage while you are there. I was given a shave which included a hot towel and face message. Nice and relaxing! Check it out for a Man Break!

I took my son for a haircut with Patrick and my son could not have been any happier. We have been to Whiskers before but it wasnt always spot on depending on the person (dont get me wrong, some of them were great). The facility is clean and looks great with the expansion. Waiting time was very minimal and Patrick is a true pro (you can tell he knows what hes doing). My son will definitely be back. The online scheduling is a big plus for us.

I really have enjoyed this business since moving to the area. But I had a rough experience where I had a personal emergency come up and had to reschedule an appointment. I then received lecture about needing to call four hours ahead, and “this counts as a no show”. Look, life happens guys. And I would have loved to have called four hours ahead, but the business doesn’t open until 9AM, and the appointment was at 10AM. Unless you guys have someone there waiting at 5AM I wasn’t aware of, how could I have done this? I really like the hair stylists here, and it pains me to reconsider my options, but I’m definitely going to be shopping for somewhere else.

I have never had a bad haircut or beard trim here. I have at least 3 different barbers here (I always forget to request the same one). They do have the ability to book appointments online. No hard sell on hair products. One thing is that they stay pretty well booked so definitely call ahead, usually not many openings for walk ins.

While my haircut itself was good, I will not return due to poor sanitation. The Barber, Patrick, did not wear a mask and even boasted about how he will never get the vaccine, claiming the vaccine has been killing more people than the virus, which is not true. His hands also reeked of cigarettes, which was really unpleasant to smell as he was cutting my hair and trimming my beard. I cannot understand why this business does not require its employees to wear masks. That is just unsanitary.

I dont have great experiences at barber shops. Ive tried both franchise and mom and pop places, I can rarely find a place that can cut my hair the way I ask. I dont even ask for anything complicated but somehow it never turns out right. However, Whiskers has been the first place that can get my hair down right the first time, they are professional, offer a laid back environment and the barbers really down to earth. Love this place and highly recommend it!

I went to a local barber up here in Harvest and was absolutely appalled.. The lack of care and the fact that my neck was completely BRUTALIZED by those clippers wasnt even amusing at best. The first six photos show the horrible job and the resulting irritation/blistering on my neck that lasted almost a week... Then I came to Whiskers to see Jessica and she was able to get my haircut done right and perfect. Her attention to detail and her personality are spot on. Definitely a pro and already scheduled my next appointment two weeks from now.

For many years I had been looking for a barber shop that provides a warm lather shave, and could also give me the military style high skin fade I was so used to. I found both of these along with the most amazing customer service in the Huntsville / Madison area. Normally is use Desiree and i absolutely love her. she’s awesome and always cuts my hair perfectly. well this time i had to see patrick, and he didn’t cut my hair the way i wanted it at all. when he was done he didn’t asked me if i liked it. he also didn’t ask to straight razor my neck. my hair is way to short and i’m very upset about it.

Ive had cuts of varying quality in many places and decided to give Whiskers a shot.Scheduling:I initially wanted to book last minute or do a walk-in, but found that all of the appointments were full for the next two days. (checked it out on their website first) When I called to verify, the staff offered to put me on their cancellation list. I (hesitantly) agreed, thinking that I might not have time to sort out the many options they have for cuts and grooming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call due to a cancellation and headedover to get my shaggy mop cleaned up.Arrival/Business:I found the shop to be clean, comfortable, spacious and staffed by friendly and professional people. Leann was ready to put me in the chair right on time, asked all the right questions, listened to my concerns, and proceeded to give me one stellar haircut.Price/Value:Prices were really good for the kind of shop and service. I previously tried a similar barber in another city and paid more than twice as much there.Efficiency:~ 30 minutes after walking in the door (partly due to me hanging out in the lobby to finish a fresh, cold beverage) I headed home looking great!Appearance:Lets face it, I dont get haircuts so I can stare at the mirror - theyre for the woman who looks at me every day. My wife is funny this way - she behaves differently towards me based on my appearance. The Mrs. gave a solid seal of approval and has been quite affectionate.A note on hair products:Im not into gel, spray pomade or putting goo on my head. Im also not into scents and sprays. On haircut days, however, Im willing to allow the person making me look good to put some stuff on my head and style my hair (Im a low/medium skin fade guy, so theres not much styling involved). Although I was neutral about it, my wife LOVED the smell of the hair stuff. I may be obligated to buy some to keep on hand for special occasions.

I had a great experience here. I followed Patrick to this location and he is awesome as always. The check in was efficient and reception team made a fun experience out of paying the check! The place is clean and really well spaced. I appreciate the free neck clean up between cuts, makes a big difference. Doing it myself has not proven to be a good idea!

I had probably my worst experience at any barber shop Ive ever been to at Whiskers. My first visit went pretty well, but my second visit was a disaster.Im relatively new to the area, so I thought Id try this place out, looking for a new regular barber. I had a reservation for an express cut, which is their basic cut and neck shave. The barber was awful. After I requested a pretty standard cut, she spent a while cutting my hair, then stopped the service to ask another barber how to blend a fade properly. The other barber had to step in to fix half my head and show my barber how to properly cut it. Then left my barber to finish the other half. After I asked to fix the blend on the side, my barber just kept making the cut further and further from what I originally asked for. I gave up and decided Id just let it grow back out and have it fixed later. After I left, I realized the barber didnt even offer to shave the neck line, which would be fine, if I hadnt been charged for it. Maybe my barber was just having a bad day. I know these last months have been tough, but if a barber cant properly blend a fade yet and doesnt know what services come in the basic packages, maybe they need a little more hands on training before theyre ready to fly solo. Im really disappointed in my experience, because the prices and hours/availability here seem great and super convenient, unlike other barber shops in the area.

I moved to Huntsville last year and took my chances for a few haircuts with some other shops (the kind with Cuts or Clips in the name), which resulted in inconsistent cuts and lots of frustration. Finally, I called Whiskers and made an appointment with Christine. Even though I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted or even how to describe it properly, she was able to figure it out and gave me a haircut I loved! Since then, Ive been coming back to her every two weeks and have had a great experience every single time.I highly recommend Whiskers to any man in the area. All the ladies (and recently added men) on staff seem to know their stuff and enjoy what they do. If youre on the fence trying to decide if you want to check them out, or if your current barber is just good enough, I encourage you to make an appointment to see what youve been missing out on and why you shouldnt be settling for good enough when Whiskers is great!

The person who had been cutting my hair for the last 12 years moved about a hour away, making it inconvenient unfortunately. Best place for a haircut! They are always timely and take their time when providing a service. I can get a haircut which includes shampoo and head massage with a eucalyptus hit towel for your face during it, neck shave, shoulder and neck massage, and excellent service for under $30! And Im able to book online! The only place I go for a hair cut and it will continue to be my place of choice!

Great atmosphere, and very attentive when it comes to cleaning standards for coronavirus. You won’t leave this place with a bad haircut, but there are a number of barbers to choose from so take your time in choosing someone to stick with consistently.

Sandra cut my hair. I have had long hair all my life and I came in with a full mane of hair, not knowing how it should be styled. I was scared I would regret getting it cut at a barber, but she did an excellent job finding a decent length for my hair. She really communicated well with me to make sure I wouldnt regret any of my decisions. It was an easy tip. :) Ill likely come again once its overgrown.

I was nervous to get a new one since I had built something of a repertoire with my old stylist and she knew what I liked and what looked good on me.
