My first time here, and they gave me the best haircut Ive had in years! I dont think Ive ever been this happy with a haircut. This is not just some strip mall Clips chain. You get with your cut, a level of quality and attention to detail that will have people saying, nice haircut!, where did you get it?!

I have never looked better. Came in to get ready for my wedding that was the next day, and was not disappointed. I got the executive package, and a beard trim.

I just finished up with my first appointment with Crystal. She owns the salon, and is very excited about her business having an opportunity to grow downtown. I was late due to a parking issue, but that was my own fault. They were very accommodating despite the shortened time frame that I imposed upon them. My cut, shampoo, and styling only gave us about a half an hour in total to complete because of my gaffe. With that amount of time I would have been pleased even with just the haircut, but she managed to squeeze in the shampoo & styling, along with giving me a nice consultation about my new style going forward.It was a lovely time there, with the environment of the salon being open and inviting. If it had been busier with more clients we maybe would not have talked personal topics about ourselves quite as much, but since we were alone for that time she was very open to discussion about what was taking place in both of our lives at the time. She is not only good at the professional side of her business, but very personable as well.I would highly recommend, and will be returning when the need arises to have another trim.

This is my third time to Leopold’s and have to say I’ve received a 5 star experience every time. Crystal and staff go above and beyond to take care of my hair and beard. They made me feel safe cutting my hair and even installed a high tech filter system to protect all parties involved. I can tell crystal and staff genuinely care about their customer and it shows in the quality of care they provide. From the gentle massage shampoo to the beard trim everything is done with meticulously, with comfort and excellence in mind. I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else, best in Madison hands down.

First time in, and they got it how I wanted it. Usually I have some trouble at other places. I have sort of messy wavy/curly hair. I just showed them pictures of my hair after a good haircut and she figured out what to do. I enjoyed our chat and will be back again

Crystal Ann Heric cut my hair today. I havent had a good, consistent barber in years so Ill definitely be back. Really welcoming and sociable person. She washed my head with very smooth massage and I feel like my headache is gone! My below review was about five months ago. I have been back at least a half dozen times I would say and the experience has never been anything short of amazing. I’ve always had trouble finding a hair salon I’d like in new cities, but one visit to Crystal and I’m already hooked. I have never had anyone analyze the texture of my hair and suggest a different way of styling it despite my skepticism. She has definitely reached a different level of craft in her 15 years of experience. I would 100% recommend Leopold to all of my colleagues.
