The team at this place are exceptionally efficient with their time. I never would have expected someone to go out of their way so quickly. I really appreciate their cohesiveness as a team. The office person genuinely showed compassion and concern when I mentioned our upstairs unit was out and did her best to schedule same day help. The technician was in and out and very informative .

Would highly recommend! I received several quotes from various well-known companies around town for a new unit purchase/install and some relatively extensive modifications to our ductwork. A1 not only provided one of the more reasonable quotes for the new unit, but they also provided the most viable solution to our ductwork issues that wouldn’t also break the bank. Air went out on Tuesday evening and Steve was at our house first thing Wednesday to quote us a new unit. We have been fighting with our current old unit for years, so we knew when we called we were getting a new unit. After looking at our house and realizing I was 8 1/2 months pregnant he said soonest would be Saturday. Was far away to me, but we said okay. Thursday rolled around and Steve called and said I can be there at 7am Friday. The crew showed up right at 7 and worked hard. They fixed issues that were found during installation that were not part of the quote to make sure we got everything out of a new unit. Very professional group of men. They made sure everything was correctly installed from areas we were not fixing and went above and beyond replacing areas that were part of our quote. These guys were amazing! I called in a panic when my AC broke last night but they calmed my nerves and were very accommodating. I called right after they opened hoping I could get someone today. Originally they said they could get someone out to my house around 2:00 PM but the receptionist said that she wanted to check and asked if she could call me back. She called me back 10 minutes later and told me Zack would be at my house around 10:00 AM. Zack actually called me 2 hours before he was supposed to be there and told me he’d be at my house in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, Zack knocks on my door. It took him about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem when he came in and told me how much it would cost before he did anything - which I liked. It was a very affordable price for the repair as well I thought. He had my AC unit repaired in under 3 minutes. I really appreciate how this company handled me as a customer. I call expecting to be miserable and sweating all day, and they had my AC fixed before the the time they had scheduled my appointment initially . I chose to go with this company because of their rating on Google and it’s easy to see why they’re rated so high. It reflects my sentiment as well. Called A1 when my unit stopped blowing air, despite being very late in the afternoon Zach came over and was able to fix a faulty blower motor and get it blowing ice cold. The next day the temperature dropped drastically and when we tried to use our heat we noticed it was not working. I called A1 and they had Brady come over to inspect and bring me a space heater to keep my wife warm while the issue was assessed. The following day Zach was over at my house bright and early as promised to fix the issue. Zach was able to determine our newest problem was simply a faulty wire connection with our nest thermostat. Just wow guys.We had five companies come out and they all said we’d need a new unit. As anyone looking at these reviews probably knows, that is extraordinarily expensive and a nail biting experience. This company is GREAT! I literally called at 7:30am, and they had someone out by 9:00! Zack was great and professional. I had A1 replace my upstairs unit in October 2018 and I was totally happy with their knowledge and service. My downstairs unit went up last week and I had Brady come out to check it out and decided it was best to replace. I called at around 10 am and by 2 am they had drove 40 minutes to my house, serviced my unit, fixed 2 parts, and had it running like a top. Woke up at 2 am on a Saturday to a 60 degree house. Called A1 at 7:30, and Zach was here at 9. He was very professional and nice. Fix the unit quickly and also updated the the circuit for our new thermostat to avoid that becoming an issue. We are very pleased and will definitely use them again.

A1 has been my air-conditioner maintenance choice since I moved here in 2012. Every time I have called them for periodic maintenance they have arrived on time and have been quick and reasonably priced. Recently my air-conditioner stopped working on a Saturday. I called Steve and he assigned Zach, who called to let me know when he would arrive, and he arrived by the time he said he would. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the bad part. The price was very reasonable, plus they warranty the parts and the service fee is good for 30 days in case you need to have them come back. They have definitely earned my loyalty!

Had a unit blowing out warm air. The technician stopped by to perform a diagnostic and had to have been there for all of 15 minutes. He came by, determined there was a leak, called and told me he added some refrigerant and told me to give him a call if I had any more problems. The guy was really nice, but he didn’t even attempt to fix the leak. So, one week later, we were calling someone else to come and fix the leak.

I recommend Zach, he was exceptional and by the best AC technician I have had out to my house. Fixed my issue and gave multiple options in terms of what I wanted to pay. Charged me 89$ for a fee (normal), and then charged me 11$ to assess and reroute some ducts.

We started having problems with our heat pump and called a company that was recommended to us. The gentleman came out and repaired in about an hour and a half, left with system running. Less than 2 months later, unit went out again. So I began my google search for heating repair; found A1 Heating and Air with great reviews. Called Steve and they came out same day, late Friday evening. Steve and his tech did everything they could but the unit was not salvageable. Steve ordered new unit on Saturday morning and it was going to be a few days before it could be delivered and installed. To my surprise, after worrying about the cold weather that had invaded us early in the season, Steve shows up, with daughter in tow on a family day, brought us 4 room heaters to get us through the cooler nights. These guys recently helped me service a HVAC unit that was still under warranty. Zach (the tech assigned to me) came in special on a Saturday to diagnose the issue....that was greatly appreciated. There were a couple of issues outside of his control that brought him back a couple of times to remedy the problem and he was always prompt and professional. Sharon took care of the scheduling and she kept me updated on Zachs arrival time via text message. Thats a courtesy you dont always get but it made things super convenient and low hassle.

I thought I had a leak with a/c unit. They were gracious enough to come out and check out the unit. Because they confirmed it was not the a/c unit, it was the hot water heater, they did not charge me for the house call. I recommend them to anyone. Came sooner than expected. Zack was great. Solved problem immediately. They charge a little more than other for the diagnostic but they do not upsell you on service. Very fair company and I will do business with them again. If you want a salesman go with another company if you want quality go with these guys. Also there Admin manager is British and that was a nice surprise while making the appointment.

Steve, called me back after I called his business and did not leave a message. That was a surprise. I went with his services because I was not a fan of the other services Ive used. His visit was very insightful. As an engineer, I am always curious on how things work and he did not hold back on telling me all he could about my HVAC system. Excellent service, excellent product, excellent group of people to work with. The unit we had was original to the house and going on 22 years old. So it came as no surprise to us when it finally decided to start being more hassle to upkeep than just flat out replace. Our unit stopped working on a Sunday morning. The fan motor had gone bad and no hot air would come through the vents. It would kick on and off intermittently, but very sporadic and unreliable. We called around and left messages at a few places. Steve was the first to call back that same day. We explained the situation. He advised us to use the unit if we could and wanted to make sure we did still have some heat. Being that it was a Sunday, it would be Monday until he could send someone out unless it was an absolute emergency. Come Monday, a technician, Juan, came out to check the problem.Juan was polite, informative and an all-around great guy. We were given a quote to repair the unit and replace. Juan took the time to break down everything for us if we had any questions. We shopped around and found A1s price to be fair and put the order in for a replacement. Steve, himself, came by the house the next day to talk with us and clear up any questions we had and help discuss cost options. We decided to go with A1. Juan and Steve were back out first thing that Friday and had the unit replaced and operational in 4 hours.Well be sure to continue to use Steve and A1 for any of our future needs for HVAC.

This company was so awesome! Mr. Steve was able to schedule our appointment within 24 hours. He got here on time, and even though we had some totally weird convoluted system, he took the time to figure it out! And after having to spend over an hour having to figure some other local companys hack job on our system, he still only charged an hour...and that hourly rate was EXTREMELY REASONABLE! Awesome!! Steve called me back within an hour and came out in about 3 hours. This was on June 30th with aTemperature was 100 degrees. We were seriously looking at motels to cool off.He was friendly, funny and courteous. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had us going quickly.
