Waiting for your appointment has never been longer than 5-10 minutes. Most often, I’m brought back before I can sit down in a waiting room chair. My former dentist retired and after much investigation decided on Dr Garvin to continue his excellent care on his loyal patients. He chose wisely. I’ve had several cleanings with my very capable hygienist. Recently I had a tooth break across a 40 year-old filling. I was in no pain but he worked me right into a busy schedule in two days for a crown. Dr Garvin is very competent and uses cutting edge equipment. I feel confident that I could receive no more technologically advanced treatment anywhere nor the professional and personal skills that I have observed.

Love this dentist and his staff. Julie, hygienist, is wonderful. Very caring, efficient, professional and all around great.Dr. Garvin snd assistant, Tracey, are excellent as well. I had some age related quirks that he took in stride and accommodated me with all my needs. DR Garvins practice, the staff members, cannot be commended highly enough. They are efficient, kind and welcoming. Last week there was a miscommunication on an appointment, (not on their part). Amber road to the rescue and made sure our 15 year old son was seen that same morning. When his school lost a required screening form she got it back to us the in one day. The dental team is excellent. The office team is excellent. This is our way of saying, thank you all so very much.

Very professional, friendly and prompt service

I met the incredible staff & Doctor Garvin the day after a work related accident where I had a right angle grinder wheel explode & hit me in the face (my upper lip & front tooth) requiring an emergency room visit & stitches in my lip. After explaining what had happened to the nurses, they did their magic & worked me in for Dr. Garvin to try & save my front tooth. After a preliminary examination he decided on a course of action & went straight to work & reset my front tooth to save it. Ive been to lots of doctors in my life but Dr. Garvin & his staff put the icing on the cake with their professionalism, quality of care & their overall concern for my well being. The entire staff stayed after hours till I was finished & to top off this incredible service, Dr. Garvin called me at 7:30 pm the following day to see how I was doing. This is priceless, plain & simple. Please rest assured as to the quality of care & concern of the staff that you will receive here, it is top notch. I thank each & everyone there for the best dental experience I ever had!

Always pleasant, through, and professional and while they are always clean and sanitized they are taking extra precautions during these unprecedented times.

It was an emergency visit due to a cracked tooth in which I was invited in without hesitation. Consistent with all visits to Dr. Garvin, my comfort was #1, and #2 he explained everything thoroughly to allow me to make my own educated decisions.I was treated with respect and empathy. Because of the extreme pain, I wasnt the best patient yet they did everything with my comfort in mind (and saved my marriage that day because my pain was at an 11 & it showed). Dr. Garvin takes discomfort seriously. The staff tried their best to save the cracked tooth at my request but pulled it quickly.I even received a phone call later that night from Dr. Garvin to check on me- thats never, ever happened to me before. The staff is so *kind* and efficient- from the office manager to the dental hygienist. I cant thank them enough. I recommend Dr. Garvin to anyone because you cannot possibly have a negative experience here. They have competitive costs and a lovely staff. I am a patient here for life.

The office is a a well oiled machine and was able to get me in for a quasi-emergency appointment early in the day. To a person the staff is courteous and professional. Dr. Garvin is thorough and very considerate of ones pain thresholds.

What began as a frightening experience for me having a tooth extracted was completely turned around by Dr Garvin and his incredible staff. I was very anxious about the procedure and everybody went out of their way to put me at ease. while i may not want to have this done again I would certainly highly recommend Dr Garvin and his staff for any of your dental needs.

Called Dr. Garvins office at 9:40 and left a message. The call was returned within 20 mins. I needed to be seen that day for a failed 16 yr old root canal causing extreme pain. They worked me in as soon as I could get there, no appt. Dr. Garvin assessed and gave me a referral and nesseccary meds. They have ALWAYS taken great care of myself and my husband! Praying Dr. Garvin never leaves Macon!

Started out with Dr. Liipfert nearly 20 years ago. Transition to Dr. Garvin was very smooth. He and staff make dentist visits a non-issue; were always well-taken-care-of.

As always everything was Great!!! I dont particularly like going to the dentist however I couldnt imagine using a different office. Great cleanings and the best customer service. When I had multiple insurance they gladly filed both for me which made things very easy.

This review is long overdue.I always had good teeth and didnt really bother going to the dentist all my life. Well that change when one of my tooth started getting painful and i decided to see a dentist. I chose Dr. Garvin just by luck. When i went to the office, the staff were all very nice and professional. Dr. Garvin is very knowledgeable and he took his time explaining the condition of my tooth, what are my options of treatment. And he put my mind at ease getting me comfortable regarding my condition. When i decided to go through with the treatment, he was very cautious and did a great job. I highly recommend him, and would visit his office more frequently now to take better care of my dental health. The highlight of it all, was when Dr Garvin himself contact us himself to check how am i doing. Its the human touch that makes a big difference.

I was new to the Macon area so I went in to take a look at the office, cause sometimes you need see for yourself. Everything was very nice and up-to-date and the staff was tremendous. So, I made a cleaning appointment to start with for the next week. No, sooner then I left the office I had a phone call and they had a cancellation for 30 minutes from now. So, I was able to get my cleaning the same day. While at this this appointment. I was even able to meetDr. Garvin shook my hand and was very nice.

I was taken care of and in-and-out really fast... Dr. Garvin was very nice, but he didnt show very much *genuine concern* or explain much about what I should or shouldnt do, like most dentists are reknown for. Besides that, the visit was pleasant.

Dr. Garvin and his staff are the greatest! Dr. Garvin glued a 10 yr old crown back on that he could have easily could have said needed replacing. That goes a long way to his credit of patient before the bottom line. So glad a friend referred us to Dr. Garvin!!

Words cannot express the deepest of gratitudes and appreciation I have not only for Dr. Garvin, but also his staff. Im not accustomed to the treatment and care they have provided me. This man once bent over back-wards in his scheduling and Im pretty sure cut his own lunch short so that he could extract one of my partially exposed wisdom teeth that had cracked and had me in a pain that was indescribable. I barely know this man, but I fully trust him and put my faith entirely in him as my dentist. His staff of nurses/oral hygienists are top notch and resonate the same frequency of professionalism as Dr. Garvin. His assistants, and receptionists are kind, courteous, and work hard for his patients. Dr. Garvin and his staff are top notch. They make you feel comfortable and care about what is going on. I’ve been seeing Dr. Garvin for many years, I travel to Macon to see him because I haven’t ever found a dentist like him. He has seen me through root canals, extractions, teeth being knocked out. He always sends me to great specialists when needed and stays late to ensure everything has been taken care of. Example, after getting my front tooth knocked out in an accident, he and his staff booked me an appointment to see a surgeon and then he stayed until after 6 to be sure I could get back to his practice and get a temporary tooth. He cares about his patients. I knew I loved dr garvin after years and years ofSeeing other dentists and still not being able to smile due to a calcium deficiency making my teeth turn colors. The first time I met dr. Garvin, he said, we are going to clean this up so you can smile again. He didn’t know that I had never been able to smile and show my teeth. I had to learn how to smile. It was a great day in my world. One of the best. Having tooth pain is dreadful. It makes the whole day seem long and hard. Thankful to dr. Garvin and his staff for always going above and beyond to make his patients feel like family.
