This place has saved me a lot of money over going to the Honda dealer. Quality the same or better. And Andys never lied to me.

I did a on frame restoration on my cj7 & installed some aftermarket engine mounts and built my own t-case crossmember but wanted to upgrade to heavier duty mounts and have a better t-case member built as, I am a novice welder and the new engine brackets need to be welded to the frame.I explained over email, over the phone and in person in detail what I wanted. Corey assured me they could. So, I made an appointment. I drove the jeep to their shop. But when I got there Corey forgot to write down the appointment and he wasnt there to confirm that I had an appointment. But I believed once Corey arrived he could explain everything. But he never showed. I was hesitant leaving my jeep over night, but Brian assured me it would be parked in the rear of the shop. So, I figured, I really wanted to get it done so agreed. ~But whats worse, they Bait and switch! They are big talk, but dont deliver on their bragged experiences or abilities. I really wanted to like them as Ive met some creepy and dishonest auto shops but sadly they also are a big disappointment. For one, they like to up sell to people. True mechanics will see these tricks but novices, should be warned.Ex. They told me they would have to move the entire exhaust system to the other side of the vehicle in order to build a t-case crossmember. News flash! It doesnt matter what side the exhaust runs down as youd have to build the crossmember Around the exhaust pipes either side of the vehicle! And Corey said my New JM200 motor mounts was wrong for my 4.3 v6 GM engine swap and couldnt install them. But they could buy another pair (which would be $199 plus a few more days to reach them). And when I asked how much to do what they wanted, Corey said they were ALREADY a couple hours into it. ~So, they charge people to look at vehicles and see if they can do certain services, even if they dont do any actual work?! And when I went to rescue my vehicle they parked it next to the crosswalk (sorry no crosswalk, they left the jeep partially in the sidewalk) and left the key in the ignition. Again, I really wanted to like them and hoped I found a place my family and friends could go but now have told them all to avoid Andys.Especially ~Beware If youre a novice at auto mechanics. As, I worry that other people will NoT see their true colors and so, I reported them to the BBB and others...As far as Coreys response to my review. I contacted mountainoffroad.com that sells the JM200 motor mounts, gave them my specs (1976 cj7 jeep with GM 4.3 v6 engine, th700r4 transmission, Dana 300 t-case etc) and asked if they were a direct fit. Scott responded Yes. .....Believe me or dont. Look at the pics. After Corey said they were charging me for looking at the jeep, and couldnt, or wouldnt Install the better mounts, I then asked if they could reinforce the current mounts. They only did two gussets, (said would do 4 and charged $281 for them as well as to check brakes as the pedal was soft after I converted from front drum to disc brakes and wanted a second opinion on it.) See pic~paint bubbling from spilled brake fluid that they did, and clearly the exhaust (I built) is not in way of crossmember.The green drawing in the photo is an example of how I wanted them to build the crossmember. (as you can see the exhaust is on the passenger side and away from the parts requiring modifications) The last photo is of the JM200 motor mounts that I wanted them to install over the current fragile ones that I installed.

Everything went perfectly. I received the recommendation on Facebook and wasnt disappointed. The repair was done in a very timely manner, he explained exactly what he did, and the price was very reasonable.

I recently bought a 1973 Jeep CJ5 and brought it to Andys Auto Repair for them to check out the mechanicals before my drive back to Portland. Everyone in the shop was professional and courteous. The person helping me walked me through anything I should keep an eye on and gave me a list of things that will need future attention. They quoted me an hour but had me out the door in less than 30 mins. Highly recommended!

Andys autos repair has been servicing my cars and familys vehicles for years. Cory at andys is a mechanical wizard. Problems that have stumped me for months just throwing parts at he was able to fix in an afternoon. Its always cheaper to take it to andys right off the bat. Have had very little success in getting anyone here to pickup the phone during business hours. Have left them 3 messages in last 3 weeks including my name, number and reason for my calls (just seeking appointment for a routine oil change for my car). They have yet to return any of my messages. Pretty weird.

Called to schedule an inspection with them, they were honest and said they were full for the next few weeks, but gave me two other shops to try to schedule with. Not often you will find a shop that will refer work out when they are busy instead of just leaving you guessing.

My serpentine belt shredded on my way from Lacey to a construction site in Mountlake Terrace. At first Brian was unsure of how quickly he could get to it, but said he would do what he could. In the end, he was able to jump right on it, because he knew I needed to get back to work.I have only great things to say about Brian and the Andys crew! Im glad I went to Andys. One, they allowed me to furnish my own parts which saved a lot of money. The process to set up an appointment was really easy. They did quality work; I waited over a week to write this and nothing that they installed have failed on me. They even changed my headlight and taillight bulbs, and checked my battery for free. Then the coup-de-grace was the cost of labor was a lot less than what I expected, especially compared to a quote that I received from another mechanic shop. If your experience is anything like mine, you wont be disappointed.

Learned my brake light was out and called to see if this shop could repair. Very friendly on phone and asked me to bring it by any time after 1pm. Arrived shortly after 2pm and saw two people working on vehicles. One person appeared free, and I waited for him to finish a conversation he was having with another person. When finished, both walked away from where I was standing. Apparently, Im invisible and they didnt need or want my business.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. This shopis fantastic! Corey the owner is friendly, professional and easy to work with. They have fair pricing and do great work. I’ve taken multiple vehicles there and have been more than satisfied each time. You may have to wait an while to get your vehicle in but to me that’s a good sign. Bring your vehicle here!

I was impressed by the honesty & integrity aof the gentleman who booked my appointment & ended up fixing my car . my husband & I were expecting to spend a few hundred bucks to get our electrical problem fixed, but it turns out it was a fuse . rather than milking us for labor time, the gentleman remplaces the fuse, FREE, & told me to bring my car back when its actually broken ..🤣I can see why this place is so busy.I definitely will go back there, when my car is actually broken ..Thank you Andys!!

This is the best auto mechanic shop in the area. They did my clutch and bled my brakes in one day I dropped off my truck in the morning and picked it up after work. It was perfect. You might be able to get your work done cheaper but you cannot get it done better remember you get what you pay for here. Andys has a reputation as an honest top notch repair shop and I would recommend them over any other shop in this area. I dont let just anyone work on my vehicles but I trust this shop exclusively.

I have a 1997 7.3 They do most of the work on it, they explain whats wrong whats worth fixing now, and what can wait. They really take care of there customers! 10/10 would repair hear again.

There are a few good auto repair shops in Lynnwood, but this one is the best. Corey takes great pride in helping customers understand what is going on with their vehicles. He explains in detail why the problem occurred, and does his best to offer reasonable priced repairs. Cars cost more these days, and the repairs are often complicated. Trust your vehicle to this establishment, you wont be disappointed.

And honestly, the other shop was doing such a poor job that I was at the point of getting rid of it. I couldnt get it to start with a turn of the key. My european repair shop recommended Andys who are just down the street. Best referral ever. I took my truck there in the summer, and it still starts the first time. Thanks!

My husband and I love this auto shop. My husband drives a huge diesel and this guy is honest fair . And if there’s a problem after he’s fixed it he will take another look and make sure it’s all good . I also took my Prius in and he was super awsome to take a look for free and say nothing was wrong when a previous person had tried to “ take me for a ride “ with saying it needed 2000 dollars worth of work!!! My dad and I where working on my 2004 Subaru WRX turbo rebuild project and got to the point of needing large snap ring pliers that we could not find a big enough pair in department stores. On a whim of good faith we stopped in at Andy’s with our turbo and asked if we could borrow there pair of pliers to continue our job. The staff where very friendly and gladly loaned the tool for our use in there asisistince booth/counter. Very friendly people and had a very clean environment. Would come back for service in the future

I called this place after a check engine light came on my car, they told me they were booked almost 10 days out but if I brought it over he woukd check it for free. He cleared the codes and helped me find that the part was just unplugged from previous work. He appeared busy but took the time to help me and didnt cost me. I had an appointment scheduled three weeks ago that I have been waiting for but missed due to an emergency.First, he put me on-hold for straight six minutes, I felt like he eventually responded assuming I will hang up.He was not understanding at all, and rescheduled my appointment for over two weeks from today stating, “It is just like a dentist appointment,” all for a simple 30-dollar PCV replacement.I was able to schedule an appointment at Jeff’s Auto Repair with a much friendlier staff in less than a week from today.

Interesting situation-I take my truck in for a repair to my gas tank - it would leak when being filled with gas.They told me I needed a new gas tank, $200 and a used oversize gas tank later it no longer leaked. At least for about 200 miles, it now leaks worse than previously. Curiously, the new used gas tank looks very similar to the one I used to have.On another more important note, my dad takes his corvette in - runing rough. They recommend new injectors, manifold clean, fluids, etc. About $1,200 in receipts and we take it home, running roughly the same. We go to look under the hood and get this:We see the same dirty mismatched fuel injectors that were there originally! Upon questioning the mechanic, he said thats how they come dirty right out of the box?Lets see, the injectors with labor cost nearly $800 and they come mismatched and dirty... The best part: when confronted with this reality, the mechanic offered a FULL REFUND?!A FULL REFUND on over $600 in parts seems pretty generous to me! Of course we took advantage of this - seeing the old injectors simply reused despite the $600 part charge forced us to assume any other parts they claimed to install were false claims.No wonder they offered a full refund so fast.It was most certainly the best way to avoid a law suite.

Mostly worked with Corey, really liked these guys. They went the extra mile trying to solve a soft brake pedal in my duramax. I mean, they probably put an extra 1-1.5 hrs into it that they didnt bill for. Plus they did some steering parts install and alignment and everythings much tighter.This is now my go-to shop.

Wow, Auto Repair Lynnwood. What an awesome experience! I called the owner Corey after receiving an outrageous quote for a power stearing pump replacement at another shop. Andys Auto Repair gave me a good deal and had my Chevy back to me the next day with the brakes and stearing working better than ever. The price was even slightly lower than quoted because they finished the job faster than expected (nice). I will be bringing my vehicles to this Lynnwood auto repair shop for now on. Honest, polite, quick, reasonable pricing and probably your best bet for auto repair in Lynnwood, WA!
