Ed’s did a great job on my car. It’s always worrisome to try a new auto shop because there are a lot of bad ones out there but Ed did a wonderful job. The customer service was great, it was reasonably priced, and done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

Edward and the whole staff is very friendly. I had them instal an exhaust system for my Volvo C30 and am beyond happy with how it turned out! Would highly recommend this place for any work you need done!

Ed is a highly skilled and super trustworthy mechanic. We were dealing with an extremely annoying braking noise over the past six months. We visited MULTIPLE other mechanics. Some told us it was the rotors and pads, some told us they didnt hear the noise, and some told us they flat out couldnt figure it out. Ed drove the car with me all morning until we heard the noise. He didnt know the answer right off the bat so we left the car with him for a day. He drove it and inspected it for two hours and called back that the only thing out of working order was the wheel bearing. We trusted him and had him replace it. Weve had the car back for a week now and havent heard any noise at all. We highly recommend Ed for any car-related servicing needs. Its great to have finally met a local mechanic who knows what hes talking about and who is trustworthy. Thank you Ed!

Since moving to Lynchburg 6 years ago we have used Eds Automotive. Ed is so friendly and will literally pull up a chair and talk to you about your choices. One time he helped us to decide to sell our van and purchase a new (used) one rather then fix the one we had. That did not benefit his business at all but truly spoke to his honesty and care for his customers. We feel that his prices are extremely fair and the work is always done quickly.Michelle in the office always explains everything and is just so calming. I probably always sound overwhelmed and crazy when I call and she makes it all ok!!I will never take a care anywhere else!

We have taken 3 vehicles to this shop. One that was on its death bed. Would have spent money on it but was advised against it. Thanks for being honest. Second was a brand new f 150 hit a deer. My husband was sick about it. They repaired now you cant tell it ever happened. Thanks for your knowledge and ability to do fantastic paint and body work. Today I picked up my car that replaced my clunker. It just needed oil and general maintenance. Just an all around honest, professional and kind place to do business. Highly recommend

Never had an automotive repair place be so personable and kind. The owner told me that they treat you like family, and they really did treat me that way. The staff engaged everyone in conversation who came through the door like they had known them for years, and they would discuss what repairs were required and which ones could wait. The pricing was very fair and the receptionist provided me with a breakdown of costs. The owner even brought me something to drink while I waited. I felt like me and my car were cared for very well.

If you need autobody work done cheaply and well in Lynchburg, this is the place to do it. They were recommended to me by Craft Collision, as I needed the cheapest way to get my car to pass inspection. I was really impressed with the quality of the work done for the price I paid.

Having a house in Floyd, I have a mechanic there that I have gone to for the last 25 years that is amazing, however I have been spending more time at our second house in Bedford as my job is now in Lynchburg so I had to find a mechanic locally that I could use. I spoke with a few folks that I work with and they mentioned Eds Automotive. I had an expired registration on a car we rarely drive and it had actually expired in January, however it was end of February when I realized this, I called Eds the morning of the 28th of February and they said that they could get me in that afternoon. They did and while the vehicle did not pass (no fault of their own) they did outline what was needed and scheduled an appointment to fix all the issues. I returned back and dropped off the car and by the end of the day I had a car that had all the issues fixed. They told me exactly what the issues were ahead of time and resolved them all in one visit. The staff that I have met so far, Michelle and Eddie are some of the nicest folks that you could want to work with, I would gladly recommend them to anyone that needs work done.
