Ive just spent 16 minutes on line, 1 window open, the line is almost out the front door and the woman behind the counter is STILL helping the same woman she was 15 minutes ago! This is completely unacceptable and this location desperately needs more workers!

Very poor service. No respect and care for even pregnant women. They dont even guide properly and dont help the ones with minimum understandings of postages and labels.

Lynbrook post office NEVER DISAPPOINTS. I have delt with 22 years of negative attitude and incompetence. Unfortunately UPS has partnered up with USPS, I assume to keep them afloat. Once UPS delivered to USPS tracking ends.when you go to USPS they have no record of that delivery. The consumer has no recourse and lynbrook USPS doesnt care. Today I needed to SEND a return that I had a printed label for. The wonderful woman (not) tells me I have to use my own TAPE!! ITS THEIR ENVELOPE THAT I JUST PAID FOR AND SHE TOLD ME TO USE MY TAPE. YOU WONDER WHY THEY ARE A SINKING SHIP. CANT EVEN DELIVER A PIECE OF MAIL CERTAINLY DONT TRUST THEM WITH MY PACKAGE. I NEVER USE USPS. FEDEX ALL THE WAY BECAUSE UPS DROPS THE BALL WHEN DELIVERING TO USPS. USPS SHOULD BE TURNED INTO PRIVATE SECTOR WHERE PEOPLE WANT TO DO A GREAT JOB AND IF THEY DONT THEYRE OUT. WE ARE STUCK WITH GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES THAT ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

Andrea is the best person ever!! She took her time even after they were closed to help me fit everything into my box. The sweetest and nicest lady and the other staff was so helpful as well!!

Friendly staff and a good selection of stamps! Parking not too hard. Also have the passport office inside which makes things super convenient. Also has a better seasonal wrapping section than expected!

The worst experience in a post office Ive ever had. Do yourself a favor and go to Malverne post office instead. No one, with the exception of 1 or 2 people, wants to do any work here! It took a good hour in line to mail a package and they screwed up as well and forgot to add one of mine and I had to go back in the building to help them find it. One employee in particular, maybe named Brenda or Bena, She literally does NOTHING. The whole time she just walked back and forth with a line of 20 people and one other women on the register taking all the customers.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Would recommend to everyone. If you are applying for passport make sure to make an appointment before coming otherwise you maybe required to come back another time.

Standard post office, however they were almost completely out of stock with mailing supplies, which I needed in order to mail a package.

Nicest staff of any Post office ive ever been by. I got 4 passports there and it was a real pleasure dealing with them.

No one here has any common sense and most of them have bad attitudes and barely speak English. Patti is alright actually, but thats it. I had to deal with them for 20 years and am so glad I no longer have to. Theyll also mark packages as attempted delivery when they dont even come to the door sometimes. Your tax dollars hard at work. If they could have gone out of business, they would have long ago.

Havent had any complaints. Friendly staff, great location, Im always get my job done in a timely manner. They are not very experienced with dealing with international shipping however, which I deal with often. They lost a star for that.

The most mismanaged, incompetent, P.O. Ive ever dealt with. They scan Amazon packages as Unable to deliver when, in reality, no delivery was attempted. Mail is delivered at all hours of the evening ( 8pm). Carriers rarely have official uniforms & use their own personal vehicles. They have only 1 person working the counter during holiday season while line is out the door. I dont understand why they dont have a self-service stamp kiosk! No reason I should have to wait on a 35 minute line for stamps. When mail isnt delivered as expected, customer service makes up stories & lies about everything. Worst place ever!! Go to RVC if you need stamps quickly. They have a kiosk.

While the staff is mostly pleasant this post office is very poorly managed and often seemingly understaffed. When the line is long, most of the staff moves as fast as molasses. Unfortunately, they either do not care much about high quality customer service, have been improperly trained or ought to hire more intelligent and competent employees.

The absolute worst operation in the history of mankind. Anytime I try to pick up a package that was left via a note, it takes them forever to find it. Today, they couldnt find it because they actually gave it to someone else who signed a different name with a different address and then they act like I shouldnt be upset. Lynbrook is a great place to live, unfortunately the post office is pathetic. If these people worked for me Id fire them all.

Fast, friendly service by the customer service representative. The Post Office was easily accessible to me on foot. Clean and well lit. All and all, a very pleasant experience!

It seems to be a daily race between darkness and my mail being delivered everyday in Lynbrook. Often times its a different person with little to no Uniform on,and theyre delivering in their own personal vehicle. Pretty sketchy. Its a shame all the good mail carriers retired

I did a address change because my elderly mother moved in with me. The person I spoke with named Pat came all the way out to my car just to get my mothers signature so she wouldnt have to come out the car. However, they allowed another family member come in and change the address again without my mother signature which should not have happened. They dont answer the phone there so Its terrible I wouldnt even give a one star but had no choice.

Had a package that was out for delivery, which did not arrive. I checked the tracking the next day and it says the employee did not have access to the delivery location. Quite strange when I live on a main road, no gate and a short walkway to my mailbox. I spotted a mail carrier in my neighborhood the next day and asked why does the tracking say no access. He replied because thats a standard scan when something doesnt get delivered. He couldnt understand the no access scan for my house though. I called the post office the next business day and the employee told me on the phone straight up that the no access scan is a lie. there are a thousand reasons why they use that scan. She assured me it would be delivered today but my question is, why is that acceptable. My packages are routinely left on the steps when they clearly fit inside my mailbox, routinely not delivered when they should be and they routinely place wrong mail in my mailbox even after asking them to stop.

This was amazing. There is a young woman working in the walk in passport office of the post office in Lynbrook. Her name is Emily. Came here to update my sons passport. This is only one you can walk in. If you dont have an appointment though, you may have to wait up to 3 hours. The young woman who was there KNOWS what she is doing. Emily, does everything with precision and expertise. She knows how to put the passport things together and she does it quickly and effortlessly. She also has an extremely pleasant personality to go along with her knowledge. We were somewhat unsure of how to get it done, and she breezed us thru the process. We were done so quickly I still cannot believe how fast it was. If anyone goes there, have a smile and a nice attitude because Im sure as Emily can be the sweetest, she could possibly get you out much slower. Try her nice because she is so nice!

Best USPS branch in this area! I live in Hewlett, but I go only to this Lynbrook branch.Workers are friendly (in opposite to the Hewlett branch) and lines are much shorter.

Whoever handles the mail over there keeps ripping/tearing apart my mail. It always happens to be my pay statements or my w2s. Lynbrook post office really needs to start doing better because if the problem persists were going to have an issue.

Visited this office for the Passport services. Didnt know they had a separate section of the office for Passport services!! It was fast courteous service, was done in literally 15 min applying for two kids passports (and it was a Saturday. The girl stated that walk ins are accepted until 2pm, closed mon and tues.

The staff is actually really great everytime I go inside to send something out.... a good amount of times, however, they appear to be understaffed. Im a patient person, but I hear the moans & groans of those around me. The older blonde lady is a sweetheart Patti I believe her name is, as well as Beena..... on another note, as many other reviewers before me have said, my Amazon package was scanned as unable to find location for delivery or something along those lines. A lie perhaps? I was home all day waiting for that package, which was guaranteed to be delivered that day. Oh well. I like that they have a bike lockup, as I almost always ride my bike here from home. 👍

I only come here on Saturdays because it’s open an hour longer than the valley Stream one. The lines are unnecessarily slow and employees inept. A dozen person line will take over a half hr when other places that would be 10 mins

Terrible service, try to call before we go, no one answer the phone. When we go to the passport office the lady told us nomore walking today only reservation. Waste time!!!

The staff is as indifferent to customers as they are incompetent. They will lie to your face if it means getting you out the door sooner. If they were any kind of business in the private sector, theyd have been out of business years ago.

Worst customer service ever. I simply asked where the shipping labels are and two female employees just stare at me as if I was an alien. Then they pointed to where it was without speaking after picking one up I returned to the counter and they mentioned that I had to pay $0.79 for a shipping label.???. I just walked out and went to the Queens location.

Currently waiting on hold and by the looks of the previous reviews no is going to pick up. But I thought you should know I was calling in your favor to let you know I saw your mail pick up carrier leave the federal mail box on the corner of Whitehall and Whittier street in Lynbrook open. Unfortunately I ended up hanging up due to 40min wait time. Oh well tried to do the right thing

Mail is delivered at 7pm. I get my neighbors mail. Packages are always late. Can you say where is the service ???? Whats up ????

This is to inform you that for last 6 months or so we are either not getting the mail delivery, getting some one else mails and our neighbors are receiving our mails. It is not fair for any one to loose important mails.Please state your voice so can be corrected.

Mail delivered by 7pm? Gone are the days of the mail being delivered by 2pm. Total mismanagement of the USPS over the years.
