Great experience here. The staff are all friendly and Dr. Williams makes you feel like a person that needs help and guidance.My family just moved here and I was in a hurry to pick a dentist and my first dental experience, in Lufkin, didnt workout and I left in tears because of the results they gave me were devastating. Within an hour after that horrible experience I called and booked an appointment with Lufkin Family Dental for a second opinion. They got me on the schedule as soon as they could. When I told them about my first experience and my shock at the results I was given, they reassured me and made me feel like a person who needed help and guidance.I really appreciate the support and kindness they showed me not only at my appointment but on the phone too. Thank you for treating me like a person who needed your help and guidance and not a box to check off.

The staff is very sweet, and I waited less than five minutes in the waiting room. They have TVs set up in each room, even one on the ceiling, so you can watch something instead of starting at the dentist’s forehead while he works. They even changed the channel for me when I made fun of what was on! Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely nice. I had a very great experience here and will definitely be going back.

Always the staff and dentist are attentive to their patients. Got me in for an emergency quickly and made a decisive decision with choices. They arranged for an appointment with a specialist promptly, same afternoon. Very pleased with the choices they helped me make.

I called to make an appointment and got one within days not weeks. I arrived on time and was in the dental chair within a minute. I have been a patient for a couple of years and would go nowhere else. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Williams is outstanding.

I had a small emergency and they were able to get me in right away. But my experience started over the phone. They listened and I was never rushed. They genuinely cared and worked with me. Stepping into the office, I was pleasantly greeted and the environment was serene and happy. They kept me informed of where I was “in line” and got me in quickly. Dr Williams was kind and looked me in the eye and answered all my questions, never feeling rushed. He let me know where they were in the procedure and what I should expect. This office was amazing. They were so friendly and caring. I will definitely be back and bring my whole family.

I have been suffering with a bad tooth for while. I called while in town and they had me in the next morning. They took care of my bad tooth and fixed a few more before they become painful. All for a reasonable price. Ill definately be going back when I decide to take the next step in my treatment plan.

I just moved tot he area and this was my first trip to the office. Prior to coming my interactions with Hannah on the phone were wonderful. She is sweet, polite and professional. In the office it is clean and they even made it seem cozy with thoughtful details. Rhonda handled the teeth cleaning and did an outstanding job she was personable, thorough and double checked her work. Additionally she was an absolute pro with the X-rays. I have a lot of bone under my tongue which usually results in pain, tears and involuntary gagging as the piece is manipulated for the X-rays. Non of that happened. I left tear free and happy!

I called at 8:00am for an appointment. They saw me at 9:00. Very friendly and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place really exceeded my expectations!! I walked into a clean and very well decorated office the staff was very nice and welcoming. They had blankets in the office incase you got chilly and refreshments in a cooler and best of all I got to watch TV (theres a TV on the ceiling) while getting my teeth cleaned I Loved it here..by far the Best Dentist Office Ive visited!!

I felt pressured and cornered into paying for a procedure that was not completely necessary. There was no empathy or attempt to console a patient who was obviously in pain. I understand this is a place of business but I did not feel comfortable and certainly did not feel like “family.” I went to Apex Dental in Nacogdoches and received much better treatment. I was not coerced into spending more money on a pointless procedure because as it turns out, the doctor at Lufkin Family Dental refused to do the work I asked for, while trying to convince me of the procedure he wanted me to have. Will not be going back. Will not be referring friends or family.

They were all very kind. I brought my 3 year old and they were so patient and gentle. My daughter had zero problems letting them look at her teeth. It is a tight fit in the rooms but I had 3 kids. Will schedule at different times in the future.

I had put off going to the dentist and Covid-19 just made me wait even longer. On Monday, November 16th I went to my appointment not knowing how bad my teeth would be. After getting my x-rays back, I was told I had 3 cavities. Dr Williams was able to fill all 3 cavities on the same visit. I never felt any pain at all. One of my cavities was in a tooth that would be visible when I smiled and you can’t even see where it is. Great work and no pain. I would recommend Dr Williams to everyone. We went for 2 pediatric new patient cleanings. Scheduling was fairly quick for the piggy back new patients. The office is very clean and the staff was all super sweet from the front desk all the way throughout. The dental assistants were good at orienting the kids (3&7) to each tool and process. And the Dr was in quickly once all cleaned. Very pleased.

And office manager Angela was fantastic. Dental hygienist seemed pre occupied, but got job done. I have more work to be done. Didn’t really converse long with doc, also seemed kinda busy. So I would suggest. Got job done without pain.

I’m editing my review to 3 stars because I received a bill in the mail yesterday from these people. First of all, the environment was still very professional and caring but I paid cash upfront for my wisdom teeth removal. I literally forked over $1,200 just to receive an additional bill for $170 in the mail. I’m sorry but you’re just gonna have to charge it to the game because it’s ridiculous that I paid that much and you still charged me more after. You should have been upfront with the pricing in the first place when I paid you $1,200. Greedy people I swear.

I had an dental emergency and they got me in in one hour, entire staff and Dr Williams took great care of me. Up front pricing, thoroughly explained procedure and follow up care. 10/10 would recommend. No one is touching my mouth except lufkin family dental.

I am fairly new to town and put off finding a dentist because I have had bad dentist experiences. I did some research around town and decided to go with Lufkin Family Dental and I am sooo happy I did! It’s a really nice small home town office. I felt comfortable from the very beginning with my hygienist! I have a very small mouth and Xrays usually are uncomfortable and almost painful. I don’t know what she did differently but there was no discomfort or pain. When she was done Dr. Williams came in to go over my Xrays and talk about a concern I had, he was like talking to a friend and put my concerns at ease. Before I left I made my husband an appointment because we found our dentist!

They were very busy today and I was the patient that slowed the process down . Even after clearly putting them behind Derek spent the extra time to get my process going. He also had a fresh assistant helping . While stressed( because he was behind) he kept his cool, instructed his very friendly assistant, and fixed 2 of my many cavities . It’s very cool to watch a pro in his or her field go in the zone to get stuff done . Great visit, and will be back!
