Dr. Steffensen was amazing you can tell he actually cares about his patients. I had a root canal performed by him and was in no pain what so ever. He was constantly talking to me keeping me updated on what was going on and what to expect, as well as making sure I was completely pain free and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. Worth every penny, 100% satisfied customer!

Absolutely LOVE the friendliness of Dr. Maupin and his staff.I had my root canal done just a few days ago, and I didnt feel any pain at all, during the procedure. He was very clear about the whole procedure and made sure I wasnt feeling any pain. Procedure took about an hour and a half. I have absolutely no complaints. Would def recommend 10/10.

Just be careful when giving them your bank account information, they will take money out of your account without notification. This is after the insurance has paid, they do not let you know what the difference is by a phone call, email or mail, they just take the money! Even if it is months later.The right thing to do is to let your patients know what their balance is so they will at least be aware of any transactions that might take place!

I had 2 root canals side by side that needed taken care of. They got both teeth done together the same day at the same time. I was in pain during pandemic and they got me in for consultation same day of first contract. Two days later, two root canals done. Very comfortable, almost no pain afterward. Could barely tell I had my teeth worked on the next day. I was literally falling asleep during the procedures. Very happy with the work. The girls up front are very friendly and are very helpful with your needs including corresponding with my cardiologist office. Prices are very reasonable and the work seems to be very good.

I had a root canal done by another dentist in Lubbock a couple years back which turned out fine, but it was a loooong process 2-3 hours with a re-application of numbing shots. I got the feeling that the dentist was a little nervous doing the work. A year later when I needed another root canal on another molar, he flat-out referred me to Maupin Endodontics. My regular dentist is very good and very professional, but he said Maupin specializes in root canals and he felt I would get a good outcome with Maupin. Maupin Endodontics was extremely accommodating, fitting me into their busy schedule a couple days later. Of which I am thankful due to the throbbing toothache keeping me from sleeping. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Maupin was the extremely pleasant, calming, professional and confident. He thoroughly went through the x-rays and explained the situation so I knew exactly what was going on with the molar and the procedure. No fuss, he got right to work. He deadened the area efficiently with minimal discomfort and I barely felt anything during the procedure. He explained what was happening throughout the procedure and was very reassuring. It took less than an hour to complete, and looking at the x-rays the level of craftsmanship is stunning. After the numbness wore off and 5 hours later, the molar feels perfectly healthy. Cant wait for a restful nights sleep. If your dentist refers you to Dr. Maupin, do not doubt that he is one of the best in Lubbock, Texas. The payment / insurance coordination afterwards was professional and efficient also.

Nobody wants a root canal but if you just have to get one, Dr. Maupin is the best! His staff is so friendly and he was so fast and efficient. Months later Im so grateful he did my root canal I am pain free!

I really appreciate this place. Dr. Maupin is precise, understanding, and very communicative about what hes going to do and has done. Ive had 2 Root Canals done here and both have been smooth. After each appointment he shows me what hes done and what he wants to do moving forward. They have screens next to your chair that show you the work thats been done, which is comforting to see. Ive asked him a ton of questions and hes always patient to respond.Its a clean and high-tech facility that ensures the best experience possible for those who have work done here.His staff is friendly and pleasant to be around. I’m not quite sure how to share picture on here, but if I knew how I would. I went there without my mom for the first time and they seemed to be extremely rushed, even though there were no people there. They also dropped a burning hot tool on my lip causing it to peel of layers of my lip. Not one time did they apologize. They were also extremely rough. I left and called my mom immediately crying and she called them, and one of the ladies said they apologized numerous times when they infact DID NOT. They went from being pretty good to awful because they treated me so poorly and I’m glad I won’t be going there again.

Dr Maupin saved me!! I had an injury to my front tooth in high school and have had three crowns done to it already and just knew when the last crown became loose, I would lose the tooth for good! Dr Maupin came in on his day off and was able to save it !!!!!His office is super cozy and staff members are excellent! ! Highly recommend! Thank you for taking such good care of me!

I was seen today by Dr. Maupin as a new patient to evaluate whether I would need a root canal on a crowned molar with a cavity. Thankfully I wont need a root canal but I was quite impressed with the staff and doctor during my exam, and should I need any endodontic work in the future I wont hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Maupin. Dr Maupin and his wonderful staff are amazing. Such caring and thorough work i have received from Dr Maupin and his staff....If you ever need a implant please go to a board certified specialist.. I went to a regular dentist that claimed she could do implants and 15,000 later had a raging infection that caused the adjoining teeth to get infected and failed implants,Had to have surgery to remove all the infection and bone grafts and after 2 years of numerous appointments and having to pay for the mess that she did and I was nearly in dentures This Dentist was greedy and refused to clean up her mess or replace the crooked implants she inserted. Dr Grimes and Dr Maupin were able to repair the damage she did and she refused to give me my money back so have been out alot of money but nearly thru with my treatment...could never thank these wonderful specialists enough for all the superb work and giving me my confidence back ..

I had an abscessed tooth that needed a specialized root canal. I seriously was in the worst pain of my life. My regular dentist sent me to Dr. Maupin. Maupin was able to get me in that same afternoon. He knew I was in alot of pain and his bed side manor was excellent. I felt no extra pain (beyond the absecced tooth itself) and he even called me that evening at home to check on me. His staff was very professional and also very, very kind. In a few hours my original pain had significantly decreased. I highly recommended Dr. Maupin.

Dr. Maupin has performed two root canals for me on separate occasions. During each procedure I did not experience any pain and when Dr. Maupin was finished my tooth felt completely normal and felt better than before. Both root canals were a better experience than any filing I have ever had.Dr. Maupin has the latest in endodontics equipment, including the CBCT which provides 3-D images of your teeth and jaw structure, which allows Dr. Maupin the ability to provide his patients the most current care.

Based on past experiences Id rather spend a day at Guantanimo Bay. However, Dr. Maupin and his staff have changed the way I feel about endodontic care.
