Wally’s Speed Shop is an excellent shop and in my opinion one of the best shops in the country. Wally and Lance were able to take our 1968 Camaro with a complete junk drivetrain and install a All Aluminum 427 ZL1 Big Block Engine, Tremec 5 speed Transmission, Fuel injection, new hood and so much more. With Lance’s excellent and perfectionist work, made our Camaro perform like a Le Mans Winning race car but also able to cruise all day long. He was also able to make it look like it came from the factory with that engine. Something which is extremely hard to do right and he did it! Take your car to Wally’s speed shop. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Wally and his guys did a great job on my 67 Chevelle. I brought it in for various upgrades over the years and Wally and his guys were timely and provided quality work.

Follow up; Still a perfect build. Street and strip friendly. Burned up clutch in many runs and races at the track last summer. Wally gave me a deal on the install of an upgrade and advised on how to make it last longer at the track. Serious horse power! Car did awesome at Bandimere. Ran in the 12s, no break downs, tracks straight, and won my class at an event.Wallys is the best Custom Car Builder and Fab Shop on the Front Range. There isnt anything they cant do! Design, engineer, fabricate, build and finish all in one shop. They built my 55 Gasser that Ive wanted since I was a kid. From the frame up, total custom build. Great communications and shared decision making throughout the process. Wally is very organized, honest and knowledgeable. Todd, the builder on this project, is a master in all the trades. Hes a perfectionist, and always makes safety of the build a priority. Very happy with the finished product!

I recently inherited a hot rod. I have owned many early autos but restored them to their original state. Not having owned a hot rod, I needed someone to look at the car and provide me with a review. After talking to many local individuals and calling several shops, I contacted Wallys Speed Shop. Mr Viegel came to my home to look at the car and suggested a full inspection at the shop which would include a working plan. I was able to participate in the inspection and he provided me with several options on how to proceed. He was very honest and professional with the recommendations we discussed. His review was exactly what I needed to make the right choice in how to proceed with the car. The cost for this work was very reasonable.

Wally has been restoring our 69 Nova and we couldnt be happier. Hes been very friendly, helpful, and honest. He walked us through the process, helped us ship the car half way across the country months prior to our actual move, and helped us pick out components that would work best for us for what we really wanted out of it, not just yessing my crazy wish list. Great guys at the shop that care about the quality of work they do on your ride. Wally was honest and fair. He could have charged me for a lot of work but instead showed me and explained to me why it just wouldnt be worth it.Ive had two cars in his shop and he did a great job explaining what he was going to do and showed me what was done when finished. I purchased a 1970 Mach 1 a year ago and know little to none about cars. I took it to Wally’s Speed Shop and they took car of all my problems. They even taught me stuff about my vehicle. I have a 1952 Chevy pickup. We had a new engine, chaise, and various other items to do in the truck to make it drivable. Walt was wonderful at communicating with me during the process and I could not be happier and Lance was amazing and knows his stuff too!

They set my window glass for my 56 oldsmobile and even sandblasted all of the surface rust off and sprayed it with some new paint/surface sealer, polished all the chrome. I got it back and was blown away. The only shop Ill trust

My dad passed away in 2017 after a long illness. His 1970 c10 which had sat for many years due to his illness was always a work in progress. It was never completed to his vision. Hotrods, car shows, swap meets and just turning wrenches were what me and dad did together and I haven’t really done much with them since his illness prevented him from doing it with me. I spoke with Wally from Wally’s speed shop and told him my budget, my plans for the truck and that I would like to eventually pass it on to my son who never met his Grandpa. He was all in, the work is excellent and no corners were cut. Even when we have run into problems like more rust than expected Wally’s speed shop has been in constant contact and explained the situation. You could not ask for a better shop to work on or build your ride. Wild Bill would be pleased.

Turned a $5500 bill into a $6,700 bill without notifying me until It was time to pay. Then lied about it when confronted on a bad review on Facebook.Didn’t not torque lugnuts on all four wheels and blamed it on bad rotors they installed.Terrible wiring job that I had to fix.Dented my hood and claimed they didn’t see it, even though I painted the car myself and know that debt wasn’t there when I took the car to them.Overall just unprofessional and unsafe business owner who took me for a ride.

I brought a snout for my supercharger in to have a smaller pulley pressed on. They had it finished in less than one hour. He did it for a great price, and we could have chatted about cars the rest of the day if I wasn’t in a hurry! Wally seemed like an easy and trustworthy guy to work with. I will definitely be back!
