Matt and his crew were top notch. I reached out late on a Monday, and by Tuesday at noon my water heater was replaced. They did excellent work, and more quickly than I ever could have imagined. I will definitely be using them for any future needs. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like these guys. We got a new furnace and AC with them. The install guys left a mess in our crawl space and their sloppy work on pipes dripped pipe primer on our gear we had stored there which we specifically said we could move. Then HVAC leaked water all through our crawl space. They were very responsive on the customer service issues, and came out to fix things. Now going to replace the filter we find they caulked over where you access the filter. Just feel like they sent super inexperienced guys to install what was a large investment for us.

My old boiler quit soon after Christmas. Good Guys came out to my house way out in the foothills and installed a new, high-efficiency unit. Stayed until 6:30 on New Years eve to make sure it was perfect. Didnt charge a premium for that service. Cant say enough good things about their knowledge, punctuality, and work ethic.

Warning! Very high prices! Not good guys at all! I called the company to unclog my kitchen sink. They wanted to charge me over $300.00 to do this ($312.00, to be exact). When I called the owner to inquire, they explained that their pricing (about twice as much as it usually is) was right in line with the two priciest companies in town (as if this is a good thing), and that their technician had holes in his boots and couldnt afford new ones because hes so poorly paid (the technician was very nice, by the way). They also said that the gas for the trip over to my house would barely be covered by the $40.00 they got out of me for a trip charge. They also said other plumbing companies dont stand behind their work, and Good Guys is the only company that does. The owner refused to work with me on price. I explained that he should inform people who have simple household clogs that theyre going to be charged an arm and a leg before they send someone out (of course, they can never tell you anything about pricing before they come out--they probably make most of their money from the old trip charge scam). I told him to pay his technician enough to afford new boots (what a Scrooge!), and I congratulated him for suckering me. Tis the season, I guess.

I had my furnace go out in the middle of the night. Called Home Advisor and the gave me a list of furnace companies in my area. I called Good Guys and they were able to come out the same day and get my furnace up and running. Jacob was awesome! He explained what happened and gave me my options. He was able to find the part needed to fix it but in the future when we replace I will give them a call again.

I highly recommend Good Guys Plumbing Heating and Air. I am always so nervous when calling service companies and never know who I can trust. I was referred to these guys by my neighbor who also spoke very highly of them. They really are the good guys! They were up front about the cost, very clean, courteous, and knowledgeable. I had a very tricky plumbing situation as a previous home owner did a questionable DIY shower install. As it was such a large job to remedy the problem, I ended up going to four different companies to get a quote to be sure. Good Guys Home Services gave me a very fair price and explained their approach in perfect detail, which I highly appreciate! I felt like I was in good hands. I was on a bit of a time crunch and they scheduled me in to accommodate. The project went very smoothly and they made sure everything was to code. They even knocked down the price a bit as it turned out that a certain step was no longer necessary. Very honest company! The only unfortunate thing is I will be moving away and wont get to use their services again!! I highly recommend this company.

Good Guys were referred to me by a client of mine, and I was pleasantly introduced to Bill, their service tech. He was professional, on time and honest. I unfortunately ended up needing a new furnace, and my experience from start to finish was great. They were more than happy to answer my plethora of questions and helped me make an informed decision. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

I was very satisfied with my overall experience. The technician showed up on time, inspected the clogged drain in question, and gave me a fair estimate prior to starting any work. The Technician was able to remedy the clog almost immediately and graciously adjusted the price because the job took so little time. From there I was also shown how I could better access the drain, should a clog occur in the future and I wanted to attempt fixing it myself. For me, it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.

Our AC crashed mid July and with 3 St. Bernards it was imperative we get it fixed relatively quickly. I called several places and anyone who would get us in quickly wanted at least $75.00 just to show up. These guys came quickly and with a great price. We dont have a lot of money since Im a full time student so they accommodated our price budget by showing us what we could do and letting us do the work even though it meant they got LESS MONEY. AMAZING I will likely use them in the future. FYI: The tech Jake was awesome: showed up on time and was very friendly.

My dishwasher was not draining and I called an appliance repair company to come fix the issue. The technician found the problem to be in the plumbing and let me know that I would need to call a plumber to resolve the issue. I called Good Guys, Bill was at my home and had the problem fixed within a number of minutes. He was in the neighborhood for other work and declined to charge me because it had only taken him a few minutes of his time. As you can imagine, I will thrilled not to have to pay a second repair cost and will absolutely use them in the future. That kind of service builds loyalty!

Good Guys Plumbing have terrible communication skills. When you first call it is like you are directed via a call center and the person just takes details. A skilled plumber then sets a time for consultation and promises an emailed quote before any work is completed - this is false. Repairs were done to a rental property of ours without our consent and then the tenant was asked to pay. We have still never seen a quote, nor had a bill/receipt for the work completed. I have emailed 4 times without response and called (to the same call center) twice and promised a return call......and still nothing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

BAD GUYS! Shockingly bad company. I was struggling with a leaking toilet and Good Guys came out to help. Curtis spent less than ten minutes in my home, and told me some pipes had to be replaced, and charged me $60. I asked if he could check the pipes first and he said I have to get to another call, this was just a service call to look at the problem. But he hadnt actually looked at anything and couldnt show me why my pipes needed to be replaced. The same information could have been exchanged over the phone, and I had waited 4 days for that pointless and expensive 8 minutes. The company who actually fixed the problem for me the next day (without replacing any pipes) told me they had been cleaning up after Good Guys for years, and that many people had paid Good Guys a lot of money to replace perfectly sound pipes. I got off very lightly indeed and I am very grateful. Steer clear of these rip-off artists!!!

I own a property in Fort Collins that I rent to local students (go Rams!). I live in Idaho though, so when the shower stopped working, I called Jake and the team to come out and get the water flowing again (college kids need showers). I was initially quoted a little over $600 for the job, but since Jake was able to fix the issue for much cheaper, I saved almost 50%! Whats more, we had trouble locating the water shutoff valve, but Jake was a kind, patient professional every step of the way. I just cant speak enough to the integrity of the team. They could have easily charged me double for a job I wasnt available to physically be there to see for myself, but they did the right thing. That speaks volumes to me, and it means so much to know theyre going to take care of the people they cant meet, in addition to the ones they can. I highly recommendJake, Bob, and the team, and I would call them again in a heartbeat--no doubt about it!

I dont usually take the time to do this but I had a very poor experience with Good Guys Plumbing. They charged 800$ more for the service than any other company in town and then the owner hung up on me when I tried to talk to him about what cost so much. They also could not give me a break down for the cost. Ultimately, it was my fault because I didnt call around first. It was bad timing where I was at home alone and my basement was flooding and didnt have time to get quotes. In the end I have to take the blame myself because I really should have called to get quotes first. Overall I would definitely not recommend them for not only the cost but also the horrible customer service. I dont think Ive ever been hung up on before and I think that got me the most.

I recently used Good Guys to do some work on a house that had not been winterized properly, the work was done timely, however the plumber left a leak in a pipe and my house a total mess. The plumber had walked around the house with muddy shoes, leaving mud and water everywhere. There was work done in the crawl space and insulation was removed and not replaced but left on the ground in the crawl space. After several attempts to contact Good Guys to fix the leak that was left, I did not receive a return phone call and had to hire a different plumber to fix the leak.

Prompt excellent service. Our AC blower went out & they came, diagnosed the problem quickly & obtained the part within the day. Local family business, lovely to work with.

The work was excellent and the price was reasonable. I had some specific plumbing fixtures in mind and Bill went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. I am very happy and will definitely use them again.

Liam came when said he would and fixed and serviced our air conditioning. He had good explanations for everything. We will even use the Good Guys service to install a hot water recycling system to help us save water.

Bill came by within the hour to look at our leak and within five minutes, had it figured out and fixed. And then was nice enough not to charge us. Well come back to Good Guys for every plumbing need. Now if he only painted!

Jediah, as the new owner, is setting a new bar of customer service with home services. They installed a new combo water heater and boiler unit for us and its amazing. They are very meticulous and I would love to refer them to anyone.

We had a problem with a valve and pipe coming loose in our upstairs shower. To fix it, I was afraid wed have to go through the tile or have to come in from the wall behind it, which would necessitate re-drywalling, etc. Matt from Good Guys figured out a way to fix it without doing any of that, and all for a very reasonable charge. I will always call Good Guys from now any for my plumbing (and HVAC) issues. Thanks!

Our furnace stopped working overnight, and with the outside temperature at 18 degrees, by morning our house was at about 54. I called two larger firms in Ft. Collins and was told the soonest I could be scheduled for a service call would be the following afternoon--obviously unacceptable. I then called Good Guys, and within one hour, a technician had arrived, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the faulty igniter in our system. The fee was very reasonable, and the technician very competent and friendly. I will gladly call on Good Guys again, and highly recommend them.

I live out of town and did not know who to contact. I found Good Guys and their positives reviews online. Good Guys went to the house and quickly solved the minor issue and did not charge me. I first used Good Guys for a rental property. Jediah showed up on-time and diagnosed the water leak. I felt the assessment and his recommendations were fair and honest. He completed the work I have not had any problems since.I was so happy with the service I had Jediah install a whole house water filter and softener at my residence. This has been fantastic.I am comfortable referring Jediah and Good Guys to all my friends and family.

Unfortunately we had another large company replace our furnace last January. When it was time to turn on the A/C this spring it would not turn on. I did not call back the other company because I had been unimpressed with their service. I called GG. Liam found some careless wiring that had been done when the furnace was installed. Now everything is cool and we have a new go-to HVAC company.

Really POOR customer service. I would not recommend Good Guys. I had 2 appointments scheduled where they didnt show up. After an hour and a half went by, I called them to see what was going on, and they said that they were super busy and someone was on their way. Is it so hard to pick up the phone and let a customer know that you are running late?!?! That same scenario happened twice. Ill take my business somewhere else.

Just do your research. They quoted me $1800 for a 40 gallon hot water heater (they are $400 or so online + labor) and $415 for a garbage disposal (they are $95 online). They told me these were their book prices. Also, after we were quoted these prices, we found out we didnt even have a hot water leak, which Good Guys found. It was the air conditioner next to the hot water heater.

Got Jediahs name from a neighbor. gave him a call and he was at our house the very next day. Came and spent time checking out our house and giving us advice on all things heating/cooling. Very patient and actually told us the units we wanted were overkill for our house and he helped us pick the right one (theres 5 choices, we ended up getting the one up from the lowest). Jediahs team came early am the very next day and we were told it would take two days. They worked through that whole day, and came back next day in the am to check on us and finish up. work was done perfectly and cleanly. Team was courteous and answered all my dumb questions (I have a lot of those!). Jediah came personally afterwards to check up on the job. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Im likely going to get them to come back and redo my humidifier which really never worked since it was installed by another company. Good guys should be called great guys. Great experience for me.

Called Bill to come out to fix our furnace which had stopped running. He promised to come out first thing the following morning. He didnt arrive at the agreed time, so we called to find out when hed get here. He apologized . Fair enough, I get my calendar messed up often enough too. He was honest about the mistake when he arrived, found the problem, clogged filter, made a couple of helpful suggestions and was done in no time. He was a great help, had an excellent approach and did a professional job. Highly recommend Bill and well call him next time we need HVAC work done.

First off I will say that Jake the technician that did the work at my house was top notch. He communicated clearly with me when he would be there, what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Besides not putting silicone around the piping to the outside of my house his work was great. He did let me know about the silicone and he didnt have any. I told him I could put some on it was no problem. Kudos to Jake for his customer service and work!The major issue that drove my rating was the bait and switch situation that happened and the offensive nature of Bill the owner. I read other reviews after my experience and Gman David had a very similar sentiment to mine so it doesnt seem to be unfounded. I chose this company to do some repair work on my house under a pretense of reasonable costs. They told me they were not able to give me a quote for a sump pump over the phone but then when Jake arrived I found out they had a standard cost for a sump pump. Had a I known that cost upfront I would have never used these guys but at that point they had done other work at my house and I was pretty much stuck. Bill didnt care at all about this and was very rude and argumentative on the phone and then hung up on me.As Gman David and others have said there are far too many plumbing, heating and air companies in Northern Colorado to choose from. I would personally recommend staying away from these guys.

I see that many people seem to have had good experiences with these guys. I worry that they may not have inspected the results of their visit though.They came out to unclog a floor drain in my house. For starters, the dropped 2 tablets in the drain and left - charging me $250. The drain did not unclog and when I called them to explain their unclogging did not work, they requested $100 for an additional visit. A discussion with their manager waived that fee.Sadly this was not the reason for my poor review. The plumber came back and actually unclogged the drain. However when I inspected his work, I saw that he broke our back flow prevention device - potentially leading to a basement flooded with sewage. Additionally I saw that he had put a chisel through the cap for the bypass for the drain. This means that there was no P trap between the main sewer line and my basement. Without the P trap, sewer gasses were entering my house (and making it smell quite bad). Any decent plumber would know that leaving a drain like that is both a violation of code as well as dangerous.This was not all however. Upon calling them again, a plumber came back out and apologized for the hole in my bypass valve explaining it was late and I was in a rush to get home, I know I shouldnt have done this. Scary stuff if I was not knowledgeable about plumbing I wouldnt have known we had these problems.Finally, the icing on the cake, while he did install a new back flow device, he sealed the bypass valve with a tension device. When the device was too small to fit in the hole, he wedged it at an angle and hit it with a hammer. As you could imagine this new plug lasted less than a day before falling out. Even if the tension cap had been the right size, using a tension cap on something that might get pressure on it is a terrible idea, thats a great way of completely negating any benifit of a backflow prevention device. At this point I gave up on them and was forced to retap the treads on the valve he had damaged, and install a screw cap the way he should have done it.After fixing their mess my drain is fine, but unless you want to redo all their work I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

We have called Good Guys several times and the service has always been excellent and prompt.Very disappointed to learn that Jake left, though -- he was our go-to guy -- so that changes our feelings overall.
