Truck was not what we were promised. Had to stop halfway through the over 1200 mile trip.Quite frankly it was a waste of time. Air not working correctly.Engine light on constantly .When returning the truck on Sunday the 5th, no drop box for the keys. Had to leave the keys in the door. I would like some sort of compensation for the huge inconvenience, also the gas tank was at 1quarter full at time of pickup and a half a tank when dropped off.I just dont know how you expected us to spend all those hours with out air-conditioning in the south. RIDICULOUS.

Sterling and Mitchell provided excellent customer service when it came to the pickup and ordering of our 22ft penske truck for our move! They were professional and also accommodating with last minute changes. The truck was clean and well maintained. Really impressed with the service. We will most certainly book with Penske again for any of our future moving needs.

I made a reservation online. When the representative called me back I told him that I had decided to go with another company because their rates were lower and the milage was unlimited else where. He ask where I was going said that he could give me a better deal. I told him I was going round trip to Berea Ky, and back to Louisville. I was given a quote for $180. When I returned I was told that they do not offer unlimited mileage and charged me another $80. I was lied to. I had used there services in the past and was pleased but after this will never use them again.

So impressed with the rental process at this Penske location! Ive rented with UHaul in the past and it was always a disaster. With Penske, I reserved online, and immediately began getting confirmations of my order. I received a call from a live person at this location to confirm the details of my reservation. When we arrived to pick up the truck, everything was ready and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the truck was SUPER CLEAN! We had absolutely no issues at all with the pick up/drive/drop off- which is not something I can say about a single interaction Ive had with UHaul. The price and availability were good, and I will be a Penske customer for life.

Poor service 3 of the 5 times weve rented. Trucks never have all equipment their supposed to waited on a truck 3 hrs past booked time causing my customers a hard time.

Ah yes, had to do a reset there to get the routine maintenance done on my rig, very nice staff, laid back, but it always still takes forever to get er done. Theyre just really thorough.

We rent from these guys 10 times a year. And this time we hit the jackpot and got lift gates on both rigs. Love it!

Ok not sure how to do this. I cannot assign the 4 stars that I wanted bc then my horrible first time penske experience would be discarded.I rented from penske home depot in Plymouth Minnesota. Loaded truck one day and got on highway early next day. 200 miles down road in Wisconsin, snowstorm started and on highway I discovered driver side windshield did not even turn. I had to exit to clean windshield, and realized headlight on driver side did not work. So my 10 hour drive turned into 14 as I had to exit every 20+ minutes to clean the windshield. And then I was not ok to be on the highway at night.Called the home depot where I had rented, gave me a run around and ended up telling me to contact 1800. I just wanted to finish my move and return the truck. Called 1800 and it was not clear but apparently they wanted me to stay somewhere until truck got fixed. I had to catch a plane the next day. I could not play into their agenda.I returned the truck to this Penske location. ANOTHER WORLD. 180 degrees. Rep called Stout was as professional as he could be.Explained many things in a clear way and even clarified that what I was told on my deposit from home depot had been wrong. He fixed everything he could for my experience and documented well to follow up. That guy has the training and knows his job very well. From now on, if I rent from Penske I will go to their actual locations. Not a side thing location.

If ur a residential customer do not use this company. They will charge u a $250 deposit, and milk u for every penny they can get. They charged me for mileage I didnt use. When I bought the truck back they try to tell me by lookn at the gas gauge that the tank was 8 gallons short. When I took the truck they showed me where the gas gauge was broke, it was stuck between 3/4 & full. If they felt the tank was low they shouldve put gas in it 1st then charge me if it was. They charged me $8 a gallon thats $64 they milked me for. If you use them youll get hosed, youve been warned!
