Chris and the whole crew here are amazing. We have bought handheld equipment in the pass without problems as well having them serviced. We finally made the plunge and bought two new Scag mowers. We are happy with the purchases and the customer service. Its only the start for a great business relationship. Give them a try, they are ELCS approved.

This place of business is by far the best lawn and tractor repair shop I have ever visited. I went in for a lawn mower tire tube and had the gentleman who waited on me took the tire and tube and had it repaired in less than 12 minutes. I was extremely impressed. While I was waiting for my tire a lady counter person helped another customer find the correct starter for his lawn mower even though he was having some difficulty in remembering what kind of starter he needed. I saw this woman go out of her way to help this gentleman and he came out about a minute after I did. With customer service like that I would fully recommend this business to anyone who needs lawn and tractor repairs and parts. They even carry several lines of new mowers and tractors.

Amazing experience! Walked around looking at mowers and no one rushed out trying to push something on me. They gave me my space and I appreciate it. Once I made my mind up between 2 mowers I started inside to ask a question and the young lady met me at the door asking if there’s was anything she could do for me, even though they were starting to close the shop. She answered all my questions and gave me a few suggestions, so I told her I’d think about things and come back. I stopped by again the next day after work, right near their closing time again and I was welcomed right in without question. I said I could come back tomorrow, so they didn’t have to stay late and she insisted it was no problem. The family’s politeness and professionalism is what made me purchase my SCAG mower at that very minute. They are a great family and very knowledgeable. For the record, I had never stepped into their business before these days, nor did I know the family. All I had was word of mouth that they were honest people running a business and I’m so glad I stopped by. Thank you!

I was at this location on 5/11/21. I walked around for 20 minutes. Multiple employees looked at me, but didnt ask if I needed help. I went inside to the counter and stood about 10 feet away as they were waiting on another customer. They still failed to acknowledge my presence. The customer at the counter left. The employee walked away from the counter . I stepped forward 5 feet, the employee never returned to ask me if I needed help. Another customer walked in, stepped to the counter in front of me, the employee returned to the counter to help the customer who stepped in front of me. I walked back out to the overhang and also in front of the store sitting on and looking at mowers. Still no help nor a simple hello how are you today? I was there to buy a Scag zero turn mower. For the reference of the ownership and management of this place, I was the tall African American guy dressed in the all red Adidas sports outfit and driving a late model Acura. Everyone working there should be admonished, because I took my business across the bridge to CC Powersports in Clarksville, INwhere I purchased a Bad Boy ZT Avenger. I would rate this place a negative star if I could.

Excellent folks to deal with. Dropped off 2 mowers for repairs. I took my Freedom Z Skag in for an oil leak & dealt with Chris. My mower was repaired timely & price was less than expected. Also a friend had a turf tiger that hadn’t ran in years, this one had too many problems to mention. Chris also got this one up & going as well. Actually considered trading mine in on a new Tiger Cub because their price was very reasonable but since the repair was less than I expected I chose to keep it for a while longer. Bluegrass Lawn & Garden has a helpful and friendly staff who I got an oddball size wheelbarrow inner tube and 2 quarts of SAE 30 engine oil from for less money(after tax) than Tractor Supply wanted for the identical size and type of tube alone(pre-tax).They are a Scag and Stihl dealer as well. I got a Still chainsaw that needs parts and Ill be going here again soon as I didnt care for my treatment as a customer at The Mower Shop the last time I went there.This place is a little bit out of my way, but worth the drive...

Have tried all mowers shops and stores in Louisville. If you try Louisville Tractor it will take them 8 weeks to do anything. If you try the mower shop you will need a loan to pay for anything. These guys are the best and I would never go anywhere else. It just doesnt get any better than here. You get the best service and will pay probably half as much as any other place in the city. These guys actually value your business. The owners work on your mowers and are pretty much on site everyday. Its just a class act.

The guy at the front desk told me on Saturday that my lawn mower would be ready Monday or Tuesday so i called and ask if my mower was ready and they said it would be 2 weeks before it would be done. Thats a sad way to get your business when the cub cadet was bought there he could have just said it will be two weeks.

Very good place

Last month I needed to talk with someone about a stilth fs 70. I been reviewing blade cutters to attach to my stilth but my question was the assembly fits fs 55, 90, 200,250 but no mention of fs 70. Anyway suddenly a lady was screaming, hollering, yelling to people to get out obnoxious and rude and ugly.

We have went to several different mower shops but found our home at Bluegrass Lawn and Garden. We travel over 40 minutes for all our purchases and repairs. Its a family owned and operated business with very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. They will treat you like your apart of the family and prices are extremely competitive.

This is a great family owned business. If you need a part chances are they have it in stock. If you want a new or used piece of equipment they can met your budget, or at least they meet mine. Sometimes the lines maybe long, but the service and knowledge make it worth the wait. It is also worth the drive if you do not live in or near Valley Station.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They actually had what I needed in stock and it was at a great price.

About twelve years ago I was in need of a new commercial grade mower. After considerable shopping and research I purchased a Scag brand machine from this facility even though they were located a significant distance from my home. Ive been completely satisfied with the machine and this dealer the entire time.Several years ago I moved farther away, to a farm near New Castle, Kentucky. I now live almost a hundred miles from Bluegrass Lawn and Garden, but I continue to rely on them for parts and service.Theyre a family owned and operated business and know many of their customers personally. The people here make a sincere effort to accommodate the needs of every customer, from large commercial lawn services to owners of a single machine like myself.They sell and service a vast selection of quality outdoor power equipment, as well as parts, accessories and groundskeeping necessities. They dont sell cheap low quality items like those found at discount and big box stores, but they can accommodate your service needs if you own such products.
