We have used Shred-it for several years. Their customer service rep who comes to my office is always friendly, professional, and thorough. He arrives always when expected. We are very pleased with their service.
Pick up service is great, but dont try to talk to anyone at Customer Service or change anything about your account/service. It wont happen!
Shred It has the friendliest staff. Our regular pick up is done by Dale and he is superb.
I am employed by this company. Wish I would have found this job years ago. Extremely awesome work environment. Bosses are very respectable. Pay is competitive. Great with customer service.
The drivers that pick up shred it containers/bags are excellent. Each time my driver has called in advance to let me know when they are coming. My office hours are limited and this greatly helps! Thanks!
I am really disappointed of this company two years ago I tried to cancel and they want me to pay almost 1000 dollars for early cancellation I didn’t even know I have a contract for 5 years because they never explain that. I stay another two years so I don’t have to pay that and said “after this I don’t want another contract this will be over” I called again a few days before my contract ended and they did the same thing they didn’t want to cancel and make me pay a early cancellation fee for more than 700 dollars they are a horrible company and the people who answer the phone didn’t do nothing to help I always pay on time and my contract was over it was just not fair this is a bad company to chose they lied and tricks you into this long contracts with hidden fees The worst Experience I won’t ever recommend them
The container is secure, the driver is prompt and pleasant, and therefore we have extended our contract with Shred-it.
They sold me a service I did not need. Now I can not get anyone to work with me. They promise a call back within 24 hours that was five days ago. I have called and emailed everyday. I would like the container removed.
I have been working for this company for a little over a year now. Ive been working since I was 13 when I smudged my work permit to start 6 months before my 14th birthday. My dad gave me permission because his work ethic and motto was, Always do the best you can, where you are, with what you have, right now. I follow that today, still. Shred It has been the best position Ive held to date. From the start in training class where the team of individuals that train the newbies genuinely take the time to apply critical thinking tactics to the lessons so everyone has the same chance to be successful. The management team is supportive to say the least. They really make sure that every rep, specialist and support personnel have materials and knowledge to do the job at a high level. Ensuring that our customers are taken care of is the highest priority and I truly see that day in and out. There are jobs that Ive seen friends obtain over the years that have made me think what I could do in a scenario like that. Ive waited for my turn at a chance like that and Ive truly found it at Shred It. If you need document destruction and want good, reliable service with a smile; I reccomend calling your local rep today! Truly a team that will work with you until its just right. :)

We used to use Shred-X in Evansville and they were great! So quick and great customer service. Since they sold to company in Pudach, KY we cant even get them to pick up. Switching.
My business has used Shred-it in Louisville since 2008 and we were on a call as needed basis. I usually had a pick up 1-2 x per year at $45 a bag and that last pick up was 6/13/17. Im moving my business and had one big load which was pretty pricey (see below) on 6/23/17. I had another just 1 bag 1 week after the load due to my move and they wanted $199 for 1 bag on 6/27/17. They can come get the box, Im finished with this company, its on the front porch...Please watch out for this company! Was quoted $249 for 10 items and had 9 banker boxes and 1 blue bag and was charged 292.96. So, box is still on the front porch..Today, 7/11/17, they still havent picked the box up. I had to call today and got put on hold by Rachelle several times and then Tanya several times to schedule a pick up. No one knows why they havent picked up the box. My first post was on or around 6/28/17. They said today, that they would have to close out my account. Why today, that was done on 6/27/17? Im sorry, there is no why I would ever recommend this company. No, to the owner, I do not want to call and discuss anything. Too much run around and too much money for the services. I guess when it was sold the company changed.7/11/17, Shred it is now coming to pick up the box only tomorrow for a $75 charge! Do not do business with this company! So I called and talked to Christine to cancel the box to be picked up. She said I can drop it off on Friday at the Louisville location between 8 am and 2:30 pm.7/12/17: So, my uncle goes by my old office today and said the box is gone! I called Shred it back and talked to Rachel. She said they did pick the box up! She said that you have to cancel 48 hours in advance and that was not put in, so they picked it up. Someone was suppose to call me when it was picked up but they did not, so I didnt know if it was stolen or not. Now Im suppose to call back tomorrow for a possible credit on this account for $75 because the driver is not back and his sheet has not been turned in! Can you believe this now? Do not use this company...
