Gatties sure aint what it used to be...When we first arrived there was no salad, no pizza, (maybe 3-4 old pieces) and no cups.About 30 minutes, all the salad was refreshed, and 8 or so fresh pizzas.So... be patient, like most places right now, Gatties is terribly understaffed.The workers there definitely deserve a raise, cause I only saw one person tending to front counter and making all the pizzas.....however, the game room is really dark now. Weird. Anyway, no more bumper cars, no more laser tag, and About 1/3 of the games werent functioning properly, and took about $3, with no game place, which the game attent gladly refunded.We still had fun, but I wouldnt come in if I didnt have a little extra time to wait for service and fresh food.

Gatti’s is a staple of my life. During high school I have spent so many weekend nights here with my friends. The all you can eat buffet was pretty much the best thing. It helped that the staff is always nice, the food is always hott / fresh and the games were fun. Granted the games didn’t alway worked but it didn’t matter. After high school, I would go with my daughter and she enjoys the same. It’s all about the buffet.

Clearly this pizza was made and designed for kids taste buds only. School cafeteria pizza is way better.

Havent been in a long time. Today Riley and a lady manager who was cooking were great to me and my kids! Being in the food industry myself I know times are tough. They were working through it all and gave us all our wants! Fresh! Not 5 stars because their games need some attention. Thanks ladies!!

No ice in the ice machines AFTER being told numerous times they were out! Employees thought it was more important to text, instead of take care of customers! I stood at the front counter for 5 minutes, being glanced at numerous times, but continued to text away, rather than see what my problem was! And this one star rating is very generous!

I recommend no one ever going to this place at least while they have their security/renicop who focused only on my 2-year-old son first it was over a ball that my son had brung in with him the guy thought my son took from a game then it was over a breadstick that my 2-year-old attempted to take out of the store and was told that is theft we spent $70 there didnt even eat or play all of our game cards because of this security guy following us around telling the other worker there to watch us get a life guy hes 2 years old worst experience ever wouldnt recommend anyone ever going there

This is singlehandedly the worst experience ever for a kids birthday party. I am not even sure where to start. its like one reviewer commented, the air is not working, more games are out of order than not. The food is old, and despite the coupons offered on their website, the cashier would not allow us to use them. Despite the hours listed, they close in thirty minutes. This same staff person waited until I had spent well over $100 to tell me that they closed in 30 minutes. now I have 5 sad kids one of whom is my you hear daughter. She turns 8 today and her mama is so upset that Im outside typing this review instead of trying to shove $10 of old pizza down my throat.Staff had no sympathy, did not offer one apology. Both staff members I encountered had dirty clothes on and its just so awful.Dont go here. spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

Place smelled really bad. Before I could stop him my friend had ordered. We got to the buffet there was 1 fork in all the silverware holders. That was the only utensil out there. No ice in the machine for softdrinks. The pizza ( there were only 4) had been setting for a very very long time. All the pasta was dry and crusty looking. My daughter and I couldnt even eat

Had to wait for just about everything and it wasnt very good quality overall; Chuck-E-Cheese pizza is quite a bit better in the food quality area. I will say the game room was pretty nice though. We chose to go there based on the pricing for the buffet that was announced on there telephone answering service. However we were charged quite a bit more when we got there and when we called back after we left and asked about it, their response was they have been trying to get into the system to update that message but are unable to do so but their prices had changed. Sadly I feel that is a very poor excuse. For what we spent versus what we got in quality and service it was not a good value.

When we first walked in there was a very bad odor. My friend ordered before we could stop. The buffet only had about 5 different half eaten pizzas that had been there a very long time. There was no ice in the machine for drinks. The only silverware they had to offer were butter knives. The cheese for the nachos had a thick coating over it where it was just dumped from the can and never stirred. There were fruit flies all over the salad. This was a horrible experience. I wouldnt go back if I were paid to do so

I’m happy because my kid is happy, however they’re in need of major cleaning and updates to eating areas if they want compete with other companies. None of the eating areas have been updated they look exactly the same when I was a kid and I’m 30. The rugs need to be cleaned and TVs need to be repaired because none of them worked.

This place is super run down. Almost like a ghost town. Half the games do not work, and it’s super trashed. The food was not up to par.. I will say the staff wasn’t too bad. But I cant see myself ever returning. It almost looks like a crack house to be honest lmao! Mood is super depressing here!!

Dirty,Dirty,Dirty! Had a couple of pizzas out with long line of people waiting. Took way to long for them to put pizza out. They do not honor the website offers,saying they are dependently owned so I guess they have NO website??? Asked for corporate phone number one of the managers said she didnt know it and to ask the other manager when I did she said she would get it for me I stood there and waited 10 minutes when she came back she was just putting noodles out and I asked again she went in back and I didnt see her after that.

Ive never had an experience this bad here. The lights in the dining room were all out and the heat was off. They actually had a small space heater in the dining area. Pizza was fine but they apparently only have 4 employees because the woman serving pizza was also working the register. Half of the games were off and 4 that were on took my money. When I asked for a partial refund I was told that the games are off for covid. And denied. I bought 2 $50 cards and there arent enough games to spend them on. Wow.

This is a Gatti Land and I will never take my kids back. We took our kids to give them some fun in between packing our house up to move the next day. My kids faces were red and we were all sweating. The dinning room was burning up, dirty and it smelt like feet. The buffet was not well kept up with and real messy. There was no one to bring my concerns to as they were heavily under staffed. I think I saw 2 employees the entire time, who werent friendly at all but I could see why based off the working conditions. In the game room, half the games were out of order (see pics) and there wasnt enough help in the prize area. One employee for a room full of kids. It honestly wasnt worth it. The buffet was an amazing price for 4 but I truly feel I got what I paid for. We paid more for a bad experience in the game room then we wouldve at Chuck e Cheese for a time limited game card. Plus Chuck e cheese was incredibly clean and workers walked around cleaning the games constantly! You wont find that at this Gattis which should be done even outside a pandemic. Wont be going back, will never recommend and I wish Zero stars were an option. Visit was on 6/26 at the Outerloop location.

We were only able to get a couple of slices of pizza and NO drinks!! They didnt have cups the whole 2 hours we were there! Kept asking they kept saying they are all taken! How are you charging additional for drinks with no cups!! We had to leave there and go to a fast food restaurant smh

The only reason I gave this 1 star is because I had to, this place is horrible. I took my kids here to eat and play games Friday for my birthday, couldnt get a fresh pizza, the workers were rude, the other food was old, none of the games worked besides maybe 6 and there was NO AC!! when I tell you I was burning up I mean it!!! It was hotter inside than it was outside that day. I spent $100 on games and food and was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Took my grandson. He absolutely loves it there. The food was great. Run out of pizza fast but they replace it quickly to. Favorite place for kids and those who are kids at heart. He loves the bumper cars.

I really enjoyed that it was not crowded and messy like it used to be. You could hear your echo. Some things had changed. Still the same Gattis, less customers and less staff.

This was an awful experience and I will not be going back to this location. The kids tv room smelled like arm pits and funk. The sports tv smelled like urine. They hardly had any pizza out. There was a line of about 10 people waiting for pizza and they would bring out 1 pizza at a time. The lettuce on the salad bar was brown and wilted. The workers I encountered were rude.

Not the same as when I was kid. Pizza was over priced for lack of options, floors were sticky as heck, 90% of the tables leaned so far if you were careful your food would slide off. And the most depressing part, the arcade, half the games there once was, and half of them didnt even work, wouldnt even had made getting a $20 card worth it, such a shame to see a once childhood favorite ran down like this :(

The cashier/ manager was rude. Acted like our party was inconveniencing him. On top of that his hand where visibly filthy like he did a oil change before he came to work. The place has fell all the way off. I see why no one goes there anymore. Chucky Cheese or Dave and Busters it is. I cant see this place being open much longer

OMG! I was so excited to see a Mr. Gattis in Kentucky! I use to go all the time in Nashville, TN at the old Harding Mall on Nolensville Road before they tore it all down and replaced it with a Walmart! This was over 20 something years ago! So when we drove by and saw the Mr. Gattis sign I knew we had to go inside! 😁 The food was so good and fresh and the games was fun to play as well! Thanks for still being around Mr. Gattis and maybe day they will open a new one up again in Tennessee.

Most of the games were down and you cant redeem your tickets for any prizes .. but staff was wonderful and friendly

I know its a buffet but since the lockdown started, the quality has dropped significantly as well as the choices. Most of the food will be served to you and its clear that most of it sits there too long. The arcade is pretty poor now as well. Non of the ski ball machines work, bumper cars have been shut down since they reopened, pretty much only the ticket machines are working but they havent had the counter open to exchange for prizes since the lockdowns. I know times are tough but Id recommend saving your money or going to main event as everything is functional there. Sad, my kids used to live coming here too.

Came here for my sons birthday party and I was so upset. Ive never been in any place since the winter has came and been so cold! I mean my son was shivering so bad I wanted to cry! He never does that! It was so cold that our pizza got cold after 5-10 of eating them. I was upset with how dirty the bathrooms were. Stunk so bad! The four hours I was there didnt see one worker come in there and clean or check the stalls. Smh. Thw arcade room wasnt like it used to be. A lot of things were shut down and a lot of games werent even there anymore that was a main attraction before. Lastly the under construction that was going on while kids was there was unprofessional as hell. I dont wanna be with my family and see people building or tearing down walls or junk jus sitting there while people walk by. Sorrt not a good experience.

If the restrooms were neglected for hours, I know this because the same overflowing trash can that was beside the soiled diaper on the floor, remained there for the majority of our visit, how do they ever make an opportunity to sanitize the machines or food area? Food was cold and hard half the games werent working After spending $50+ on games they couldnt cash out tickets.. fat guy at ticket tablet was rude about it so now I have 977 tickets Ill never be able to cash cause their store is falling apart and we live 4 hours away from the closest store.

Grew up on this pizza and after 30 plus years I still think its one of the best around. Its ashame the locations are going down hill with the staffing and cleanliness.

The only reason this place is getting 3 stars from me is because my kids still had fun in the game room. We had a school event planned there last night and no one there had any idea it was even going on. There was a teenage girl at the front counter, who obviously doesnt care about her job. She had a bad attitude and couldnt put her phone down. The dishes were dirty. I went through 4 forks before I found one that was clean. The plates were greasy. Thankfully the food was still decent. But it definitely wasnt worth the money I spent. I never leave reviews for restaurants. But I was so disappointed in this place. I used to go there all the time as a kid and doubt Ill ever be back again.

The staff was rude, pizza was mediocre, and the games were overpriced. You couldnt even turn in your tickets because the prize station was closed. The bathroom was disgusting. I walked in, and decided to hold it instead

Visiting from Tennessee. We dont have a Mr. Gattis anywhere in Tennessee. So, we found this one. As soon as we came in we were greeted by the nicest lady. She made us feel like we were locals. The place is huge! My kids were so excited. The pizza was great. We had a very nice man taking all of our plates and kept our table so clean. They asked if we had any requests for pizza. The game took was awesome! We all had a ball. It was close to closing time and we never felt rushed. As we were leaving the same lady wished us safe travels. I really liked her. Great experience here. I will be back when we visit again!

This place is really good! They have some good food, I’m the type of person that loves pizza and salads so this will forever be my go to place especially to enjoy both of on my favorite things to eat. The people are nice here, it’s very family oriented, which is a plus for me considering I am a mother to small children who also love pizza and enjoy playing they’re arcade games, and winning prizes! Also this place is great for family events like birthdays and celebrations. My favorite pizza is pepperoni and they always have that kind stocked up, I also love love love the cinnamon and s’mores pizza!! Please go visit them you won’t be disappointed!

The games and bumper cars for my grandson where awesome! The food/pizza well, not so much.

It was okay but they had alot of people stuffed in a small room not really socail distancing. Pizza wasnt coming out fast enough for the number of people that were there. Employees were just standing around talking. Tables were dirty.

Good place for b-day parties

Today we went to me gattis and we had no complaints at first, but it went to a struggle, the coupon we had was apparently “new “ so we spent 10 minutes waiting on them to see how to put it in the computer. Another thing is my grandchildren played and one was 13, because he was considered and adult we had to pay for his playing card. The food was not very well either, they barely had anything to eat and even if there was food, it wasn’t very hot. My granddaughter got a playing card for 30 minutes of unlimited play because she was 12 and got a playing card with the coupon, and it didn’t even give her tickets. Definitely not coming here again.

I used to go here a lot as a kid, but it has lost its flair. I can see this place getting replaced with a dave and buster or something, but as it stands, it just feels like it is on its last leg. Honestly, it feels like it has been on its last leg for a while. Its pretty unclean, dark, and virtually empty every time I have been there. I wouldnt be surprised if it closed its doors for the last time within the next two years or so.

Friendly staff and yummy food. Went as soon as they opened and yet i never managed to get the just out of the oven pizza. But I was entertaining 6 kids at a party. So, its my own fault. All was great!

This place has a really good buffet,the pizza is alway good and hot and they have so many different pizzas with different toppings .theres a bunch of other stuff too like pasta and salad and deserts and all that.if i come back it would be for the buffet not the arcade because it is not big at all and they games and machines there are not too fun.

The food was decent. Bathrooms looked pretty rough though. Id say the most disappointing part was the games. At least 50% were out of order. Some of the ones that were operational still didnt work. No apologies when brought to their attention. Our toddler still had a good time though.

Food was good but the place was dirty as usual, out of bar items and finally filled up and a bunch of kids in a party took all the pizza and dessert pizzas by filling up brown paper bags. Some of us regular customers asked if there would be any more made (had 50 minutes left till close) and was told know. There was at least 30 regular customers left to eat. Then 25 minutes later must customers were leaving thinking no more pizza and we see 4 fresh pizzas set out. Kids from one of the parties was standing at soda machines and just letting ice run onto the floor. Employees and a security guard all around and no one said anything. None of the employees even acted like they cared about anything and if you asked them a question they made it seem as you was bothering them. The light at the exit has been out forever and it is very dark when leaving. A 3 year old was even scared to walk through. Especially since it was 10pm and no employees or a security guard was around. My family hadnt been in a long time and now I remembered why. It is a shame.

I give this place 2 stars because of the level of customer service here. Out of all of the staff the only person that showed even the slightest of enthusiasm working here was the man that cleaned the table. The cashier at the front clearly hated her job. The clerk at the redemption counter was not very interactive with the children and seemed extremely annoyed by all the children. The buffet was barely stocked. Half the machines did not work in the game room and even the attendant said we know and shrugged it off. Very disappointing to have spent the amount of money for this experience.

The place is not any good. The food is in very small portions. It takes time to get the food. One server is there to help many people. Not worth the money.

Went to a birthday party there today and it was so nasty.. All the plates where still dirty.the floors where nasty food all over the place..the salad bar had food all over it..i spoke with the manager.who said he know and is trying to address it.. He even set out a stack to paper plates..

Ah, giving three stars for the food and the memories. The current status of this place is a mess and it’s sad. Most likely because of the management and employees. Very dirty, probably one of the dirtiest places in Louisville. This place used to be so much fun as a child but it’s just gotten sad over the years. Hope they make a change, I would like to go back there. Food is still delicious though and games are fun.

We had my daughters birthday party there. Everything went well. She had a great time playing in the game room. Plenty of room for guests and friendly employees. Overall it was a good experience though the pizza wasnt that good and actually didnt have a variety of choices either.

Very sad to see it the way it is. I have fond memories of this place from when I was a kid but at another location. The main issue is the staff. 3 teenagers working there. All at the counter on their phones. Not friendly, not interested in working. One guy with some crazy hair at least had his uniform on. Nobody was cooking it seemed because there was a whole section where food should be but there was nothing. Tables still had plates and cups sitting on them for previous guests. Floor was sticky, half the games where down, neither of the machines for game cards worked so we had to go to the counter to get cards. Everyone acted real ghetto when they spoke. Very unprofessional. They werent focused on making my experience enjoyable, rather taking advantage of having a job where you can slack off because theres not much traffic in there anymore. Theyll probably be jobless soon anyways because I cant see this place lasting much longer. Mr gattis uses to be a hot place in the early 2000s, now its just a ghost town, a shell of its former self. With staff who have given up. Unless theres a possibility of a major overhaul, Id say its time to put the nail in the coffin and say goodbye.

We love going to Mr. Gatti’s and getting all the different kind of pizzas you can get. We love taking our kids there so they can eat and play there. Mr. Gatti’s pizza is the best!!!

The pizza was fantastic but the customer service was awful. We felt very uncomfortable being talked to very rudely and rushed.

This place generally has a lot of different options of pizza and of course the specials they run make this a great option for a terrific week treat for my 3 year old. This visit left a little to be desired but overall the good outweighs the bad. I recommend Mr.Gattis for any parent that wants to treat their kiddo and themselves with a inexpensive but great treat.

Decided to visit Mr. Gattis yesterday on a whim with some family to let the kids let loose and have some fun. But, I was highly dissatisfied with what I found when I had got there. We came in about 6:30pm . There was slim selections for pizza, no cups for drinks at either station. After asking every employee that walked by we were told they were coming soon. The game room was horrible as it didnt accommodate younger guest. The games are expensive and dont pay out many tickets at all, if they even work. The game attendant was very nasty when we approached her about the machine taking the money and not letting us play. The prizes are ridiculously high seeing how the games dont pay out many tickets. To some up a terrible evening out we got a now and later for the 15 tickets she was able to win. We had such a terrible time the kids were crying when we left.

Most Gattis Pizzas I like but this one was not one. The dishes were not clean at all, I dont mean spots. There was left over food on the dishes as if they were just rinsed off slightly and put back out. It was the plates, cups, silverware...all!! They had all the dinning areas closed off except the smallest one so everyone was packed into this small room and it was hot! Wasnt even close to closing time so not sure why they would do that.

The pizza wasnt the best, very few options, had to wait up by the pizza buffet like a Viking to get hot fresh and the type of pizza you wanted. We had between my wife and I, 7 slices and 2 sodas for 20 bucks. Not a good ideal to go to for a Birthday party. You must purchase a buffet and a drink to enter. What if you want to walk in and visit someone at a Birthday party? Next party we will go to Jefferson mall where the bowling alley is. Dont know the name.

Really great! Can be pricey, but we always make a visit when they run specials! A lot of fun for the kids. Decent salad bar, pizza and bread sticks not bad for a buffet. Some of the cooler games in the arcade were out of order on our most recent visit.

Not really sure how this has gotten 5 stars, but this place use to be great. However, the last few years this place has gone down hill tremendously. Not sure if it needs new management or just a new owner...not even sure how it’s still open. The last time I went there were absolutely no cups and there was a school event that I’m sure they were aware of happening..how could a business not be prepared like that? Today I thought I would give it another chance and that was just major regret and a waste of money. The pizza looked like that play pizza that 4 year olds play with in their little kitchen set up. It was cold and disgusting!!! It looked like it had been sitting there for a few hours. The plates were greasy feeling. Whoever runs this place needs to step it up because all of the other Mr.Gatti’s I have visited are on point!
