Some of the best costumes and novelty around. I couldnt give 5 stars even tho its obtainable, the costume I want so bad has been posted on their website but out of stock for nearly 7 years. Bummer!

If youre into Halloween or just like to dress in costumes please go visit the list place. They have everything in there. This was my first visit and the staff were wonderful. They had me take a tour all around the store. Check out the dungeon. Great for a good scare. Children beware!!

They have the most neatest Halloween stuff anywhere. My mom goes and buys the big stuff thats around 500.00 every year. You want scary and a great price. Go here definitely.

Such a cool store! Halloween shopping for days, AND all year long, as it should be! The Dungeon room was our favorite. All those fascinating yard displays you encounter in small groupings at your favorite house in the neighborhood arranged together in a dark and sinister, motion activated chamber.

Caufields has always been a great place for both novelty items and halloween 🎃 costumes. Its a tradition to take the family shopping every October. No place in Louisville gets you in the Halloween Spirit like Caufields. If you like haunted houses, you will absolutely love how they have set up the room west of the entrance. It has all sorts of scary, freaky and entertaining characters which come to life. Whether you are into clowns, ghost, ghouls, goblins or the living dead, Caufields truly has everything you need for Halloween.

Loved this unique shop. We went there to see the Worlds Largest Vampire Bat, on the side of the building, then stayed for awhile walking around the store. They have soooo many costumes and party supplies. The dungeon was fun to walk around inn, as well. Staff super nice and friendly.

Store is stocked full of costumes and novelties. The Halloween room in the back is awesome and worth a look!

The incredible morbide and chilling atmosphere amazed and astonished me. To call it a Halloween or novelty shop is a disgrace. The place is absolutely amazing in every aspect. This place takes Halloween to a whole other level.

They have everything you need for Halloween and very nice quality costumes for adults. I love the atmosphere, and the staff are very helpful and not pushy. You will love walking thru the store and seeing the dungeon and the Hearse.

The best place in town to get that random, highly-specific piece for your killer Halloween costume. They seriously have everything! There is also a big selection of gags, magic etc. if youre into that. Employees are very nice and very helpful. Walking distance to some cool attractions on Main so its a cool place to check out if you are visiting town and want to wander on foot! The free circulator bus runs nearby as well, which makes this an appealing place to park and start your journey.Also Zoltar!

I truly enjoy shopping here. The decorations are the best anywhere and they have a wide variety of costume and decorating options. You just dont find this level of quality in your chain Halloween stores. They have a statue of Regan from The Exorcist complete with turning head, ghouls fighting over someone, Michael Myers and a host of excellent mobile creatures.

This place has never disappointed me. They consistently have a large variety of, well--everything. Costumes, accessories, makeup, decorations, and more.If they dont have it, they will get it for you.The employees have always been amazing and gone above and beyond for customers.This is truly a great place to shop!

Shop was very clean and had a lot of pretty cool things. I was looking for something very specific which they did not stock. Staff was very friendly and assisted in looking item up and was very willing to work with me and get it ordered if I wanted to do so. Its never about the biggest sale prices, but helpful to what you want to do, and create!I came in today, because Halloween is the best time to buy, and find what you need. I wasnt shopping for Halloween. I was piecing together something for a Convention next year. The selection is huge! And the employees are all thats gracious, and wonderful!I already had some parts of what I am going to create, and was helped further here, to get the rest, except for the white-out Sclera contacts I needed. And the Gentleman Employee who was my helper, told me about the KY laws about contacts, and when I said Id bought online before, he went further, and said that online purchases, the water they come in might cause infections. And I said I already knew, but how wonderful is that? To be warned about something they dont sell????I will ALWAYS recommend Caufields.

The costume selection is phenomenal! At first I thought it was just going to be a small store, but its the whole building on that block. It is amazing! Awesome Halloween props also!

My son had a birthday and some of the decorations weren’t going to make it on time from amazon. I called Caufields to ask if they might have the items in stock. They not only had them in stock but went above and beyond to accommodate me, as I lived 2.5 hours away and couldn’t make it there before they closed. Instead of saying “sorry we couldn’t help” they found a way to make it happen! Excellent service from great people!!

Skip the chains! If you want a truly awesome costume, you gotta go to Caufields! Even if Im not getting dressed up, I stop in every October to check out their display of animatronics.

It was a fun store. Wasnt looking for anything, but they did have some cool stuff. Worth going in and checking it out.

Staff is always very helpful, but the last time I was in there they didnt have some pretty standard magic gimmicks that I needed, on item was sold out and the other they didnt stock. Also prices are pretty high, but its worth it to support a great local business and the only magic shop in town. Costume and makeup selection is excellent.

AMAZING!!!!!!!! Was at a different costume store when I ran into a couple of young men and started a conversation with them about the lack of selection at that store. They suggested Caufields, so Jim and I went to the one downtown. It was friggin AWESOME! They had so much to chose from, it wouldve taken me days to go through!! AND, we found just what we were looking for!Another great plus, they had Steampunk hats, glasses, jewelry, weapons....I wanted to buy all of it!!! Think Ill go again next year FIRST!!!!

Get anything scary not so scary for Halloween anything you can imagine

This store is open year-round I only thought it was open for Halloween season so thats good to know. My only concern is that I wish the more adult costumes and paraphernalia were set towards the back or in a separate room. Aside from that it has a plethora of items that you can find. The building is pretty easy to locate downtown and it has a small parking lot on both sides of the building.
