STAY AWAY! They should have 0 stars. They must be planting reviews because I have never experienced anything like this from a business. I called and was told they’d be out the next day to move my piano. They never showed up. I called, left voicemails, and never heard a thing. I’m just thankful I didn’t lose any money, but it sure messed up my weekend.

Had them to move me, one man stayed on the truck because he was over 50 years old and couldn’t handle the 3 floors. It made the move be 3 hours when it should had only be 1.5 hours. I recommend when you call to ask for workers who are capable of handling your move.

I wish I can give 0 stars. Never showed up. Called the office 30 mins after our quote time. The person in the office told us it would be another hour. Waited 2 hours to call back. I guess they recognizedmy husbands number and didnt pick up. I used my phone and....he picked up. He told us that he would get an ETA from the driver and call us back. No call!!!! Left several mesaages......nothing! Dont waste your time with these people. Highly unprofessional!

Do not recommend! They were hired to help with moving from one house to another... literally all the furniture recieved damage of some sort....they didnt wrap any thing in plastic so cloth materials got filthy. Tables and furniture recieved terrible scratches and now need to be re-done. I personally had to tell them to wrap an antique hutch in a blanket before they tightened a strap with the metal piece resting on glass... they were very slow scratched floors because they didnt have moving coasters to slide under furniture. They also had no tools of their own and had to use ours.... they also hit the new house while unloading the furniture and damaged the flashing at the garage... sent pictures of damage to company with no response 😕 and did I mention theyve had two weeks to make it right... absolutely disappointed! Do not recommend!

Ramsey and another gentlemen just dropped off my heavy delivery, both were friendly and provided quick service. Upon their arrival, rather than the order be dropped off in my driveway, I request if they could place it on the back patio, without hesitation Ramsey and his helper agreed to do so. Im pretty sure they are not expecting me to write this review but as a customer service representative for the State, I do know the importance of these reviews. Just a little kindness goes a long way.

They confirmed Thursday that they would be out Saturday. I get a call at 9am Saturday saying one of their movers had an emergency and they are going to be late because he is trying to find a worker. Life happens, totally understandable. I call them at 1030 to get an idea of when they will be there, no answer. I call a few more times, crickets. I manage to get another moving company to come out last minute (also, they did an excellent job) while DZ was a no call, no show.If youre not going to show up, then at least tell the customer.

Very unprofessional and rude. Scheduled a move to another city in KY. When they arrived, they had someone elses stuff already on the trailer. They couldnt fit all of my items onto the truck! Then told me it was fault for not being truthful about how much stuff I had . Im not a mover, and havent moved in almost a decade. I wasnt untruthful, I just didnt know. On top of that, they quoted me a price of 700, but I was given a bill for 1120. However, when i looked at my bank account later that night, I was charged 1187...Even higher than what was written on the paper i signed. Stan, the person in charge, was rude and very difficult. He made my already stressful move so much worse. Just an absolute horrible experience and a horrible company. Please, use reputable, established companies for your big moves. These guys deserve zero stars.

We had an excellent experience with this company. We purchased a product that weighed approximately 500 lbs. Obviously we could not move the item to our home. This company delivered our product five hours ahead of the original delivery window. Aaron was professional, friendly and helpful. He moved the product into our garage without question. We highly recommend this company for your moving needs, large or small.

DZ moving delivered a couch and two chairs to my home. Aaron was friendly and professional, and after he delivered my new furniture inside, he helped me move my old couch to another room. He definitely went above and beyond!

I assume these guys were contracted by Estes Transportation. When I get a delivery, any delivery, I expect it to be brought up to the house, not left on the sidewalk. This was absolutely ridiculous. Im home alone with a baby; how am I supposed to get that into my house? Ludicrous.

Our experience was horrible. They tore up our hot tub and would not make it right. When I tried to talk to them they hung up on me

Worst experience ever! At least 80% of our furniture was damaged, TVs and computer monitors broken (cracked screens), glass broken on hutch, everything was filthy (upholstered chairs and couch that were grey are now brown), gouges/scratches/dents in nearly every wood furniture piece just to name a few.After the furniture was brought back into our new house (they took it from old house and stored for a month for us) we told the movers about the damage and they refused to even walk in the house to look. He told us that the damage was a different process than us paying him that day. My husband insisted on talking to someone, Stan, who is apparently in charge. He told us he couldn’t come out that day and he would follow up...still no response. One of the movers that day only response when we told him of the damage was what did we think our items would look like after our two children drew on them once they were in the house, as in they would damage them anyways so why did we care. The furniture had been in our prior house for 3 years with no damage at all from our terrible destructing children, but this house they would do that. Unbelievable response and Unbelievable lack of follow up now from Stan to come out and look at the damage they caused. Believe me, this won’t be the last they hear from me, litigation is next. This company should be shut down. Do not trust a single thing with them, it will come back broken/scratched/gouged with complete disregard for it or your cost in having to replace it all.

The two gentlemen that came to deliver my new bed and assemble it were very professional and made me feel very comfortable with having conversations with them. They were well mannered and explained in detail any issues with my bed. I was in a bad mood because the company I purchased the bed from never communicated anything through the whole shipping process but with the great attitude these young man provided, my mood changed quickly. Thank you so much! I’m very satisfied with the service they gave me.

We used DZ to move from Hikes Point to Fern Creek. We did get off to a rough start- I wont get into that because it doesnt matter because DZ Moving made it right with out hassle. When we move again in a few years we will use them. The movers were really polite and respectful of our time and home.

A crew of 3 guys came and did a great job moving our furniture and big/heavy items. They were quick, polite, and efficient. None of our items were damaged or torn during the move. I was very pleased with their work and ability to work us into their schedule. They did not take breaks or do anything to extend time and were able to finish our small home move in 3 hours. Highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used this service yesterday after booking weeks ago. Movers showed up 8 hours late, and 1 was injured. Did not complete my move until after 10 p.m, did not unwrap furniture, chipped a table, were unable to build any beds, could not get furniture in my basement-never tried to take legs off. I could go on and on. My babies had nowhere to sleep last night, and I had nightmares feeling like I was robbed. I hated even paying for such an unprofessional service. Movers told me to get friends to help build, smoked cigarettes on my porch, didn’t wear any masks, pretended to call boss for extra time, said if I paid cash could maybe stay a little longer. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and have more work to do today than yesterday. I have never even written a Google review until today, and chose this company because of its reviews. There are tons of other local companies I could have chosen, and I am recommending you do. Do not make the same mistake I did!

I am not sure where to begin. I know if I could give 0 stars to convey my experience with DZ Moving and Storage; I definitely would! The 0 is well deserved! I contacted DZ Moving and Storage to assist in my most recent move. I was told by their Office Associate or Manager the rates and given a timeframe for when I could expect 2 movers. I was told the movers would arrive at my first location in between 1-3pm. I thought it was strange that I was not emailed a contract or any documents to sign. My moving day came in the midst of my work hours, I received three calls from a # I did not know. I did not expect it to be the movers or anyone in the office from DZ moving as they called 2 hrs. and 10 minutes before the expected start time I was told of 1pm.After my work hours ended, I called the number which called me, called the office and could reach no one! I finally received a call back from one of the movers and was told since I did not pick up the call and was not available to meet at the time they showed I would have to reschedule. Please keep in mind, the movers showed 2 hrs. before I expected. When relaying this to the movers, the mover stated, We ended our first job earlier than expected and came to you next. Now please help me to understand how I endure the consequence or am put at risk of not being moved because you chose to arrive two hrs. earlier. The mover then told me he would need to speak with his office manager because a resolution is outside of his pay grade. I received a call from the office of DZ Moving and was told the movers would be out at the agreed upon time; around 2:30. 2:30 came and went. I call the mover, he states, he is 20 minutes away. No callback. I call the office; mind you this is after 3pm at this point. The manager tells me he will call the movers to see what the issue is?! I never receive a callback!! I receive a measly text message at 5:45p stating, the other mover has went home and they would have to reschedule my move for Monday.LET ME TELL YOU! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They might advertise great rates but this is the worst moving business I have ever dealt with! Thankfully, I found another local moving company who picked DZ Moving and Storages slack and enabled me to move after sharing my predicament. There are far too many moving companies in Greater Louisville to deal with this level of unprofessionalism!

James and Damon moved my parents bedroom furniture and did an absolute, fantastic job! I highly recommend DZ Moving! I was pleased with the professionalism and great can do personality of the movers!

We have used DZ Moving twice and have been incredibly impressed both of the times! I needed help with loading and unloading two bedroom apartment and a storage unit and both times they were happy to handle it and helpful in coordinating the plan. Stan is professional and polite and keeps you well informed at all times. Both times they arrived early and were quick and gentle with our belongings. I can not say enough great things about this moving company.

My bedroom furniture was not wrapped, drawers came open, I found my underwear in 2 different drawers. I was told furniture would be wrapped and all I saw was some tape on my wall unit. A lamp was broken beyond repair. And there is a large scratch on top of my chest of drawers. Also, I was informed by one of the movers that I needed to dust the top of my wall unit, none of his business, I was paying for the move not the advice. I was going to recommend them to my friends but in view of all this and the fact they were almost an hour late showing up causing the move to last longer than it should, costing me more than I had counted on. Not good business, very poor service.

A small story to show why DZ is the best! Yesterday should have been a huge nightmare for me. I was all slated to move using another company when just an hour before they were set to arrive I received a text (yes a text, not a call) telling me that they’re truck wouldn’t start and that they would have to reschedule. At the time I was neck deep in my storage unit trying to get it all on a rented truck I had. I called the original movers and explained to them that I had a rented 15’ truck that we could use, all I needed was the workers. The man on the phone agreed to send me 2 guys and use my truck. Then 30 minutes later another text saying he couldn’t find anyone on “such short notice” and was canceling. I texted back “Short notice, I booked you days ago” there response “BYE” then blocked my number! Needless to say I was furious. There I was truck half loaded from storage, apartment already pack and ready to go and no movers. To make it better it had been raining for about 2 hours. I called a friend of mine who told me about DZ because he used to work next door to them and said they were really nice people and he thought maybe they could help. I explained my situation to the man on the phone and he explained to me that he would try to get his guys to come help me after they finished the current job. The price was not that high and booking anyone last minute means a premium so I was very pleased with that. It took a few hours for the movers to finish and get to me but once they arrived it was perfect! The two movers completely emptied my old place which was on the 3rd floor (UGH) and moved all of that plus everything I had on my truck into my new place in just under 2 hours. The workers were super friendly and courteous which is saying a lot seeing as how It was 90 degrees and they got my job just minutes before they were supposed to be done for the day. They never complained and they busted there butts to get it done in the time window. I am so thankful I found DZ when I did. They saved me and turned what should have been a terrible day into a great one. Thank you so much for your professionalism and wonderful attitudes and I will shout your names from rooftops for years to come! If you need movers this is the only place you need to visit!! If I could give you 10 stars I would. You’re wonderful

When I called and spoke with Stan about what I was needing he was very professional and gave an accurate estimate. I even had several family heirlooms that I stressed get special attention and the guys went above and beyond to make sure nothing got damaged. From the time our movers showed up and introduced themselves they were very polite and worked very hard and efficient. I was extremely pleased with my whole moving experience and would call DZ Moving again in a heartbeat. I dont usually write reviews but the moving crew and company did a remarkable job and I wanted it to be noticed. I highly recommend Stan and his crew to everyone needing a moving company in the Louisville area.

I would NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY. I had them move my furniture my double glass table got broke on their truck. I filed a claim the gentleman was supposed to reimburse me but I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING from them. In the process of filing small claims in court! DONT USE THEM!

James and Ramzey went above and beyond for my business move. It was, by far, not an easy move, but these two persevered and made a challenging situation work...without any damage to furniture or property. They are highly skilled and friendly too! I can’t say enough how positive my experience was!

Great experience!! They arrived at the end of the quoted window but that actually allowed my procrastinating nature time to organize what I needed them to move. Just the two guys, Ramzy and Damon moved my second story, two bedroom townhouse fully to a storage unit 20 minutes away - in less than 3 hours!!! The moving company I used previously sent three guys and took 8 hours for the exact same move (only from storage into the townhouse). Seriously couldn’t be happier. The guys had a great work ethic and dynamic - they fussed at each other for putting hands on hips or taking a water break and kept moving the entire time. Stan was also polite, kind, and professional on the admin side and made sure I was completely informed of all pricing prior to the move. I will happily recommend this company as I plan to use them for any and all future moves!!!

After moving my storage unit got broken into and my guitar was stolen. It was the only unit that was broken into so the odds of it being anyone other than the movers seems unlikely.

Guys that showed up were very polite and although they were a few hours late we did manage to get everything moved in quickly. The 3 stars is for the 6% processing fee that they change to use a credit card- not disclosed until AFTER the move was complete. Weve had a business for several years and have never seen, nor heard of a fee that high?

Three gentlemen did my move. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job of loading and unloading. Would recommend this company to everyone.

James and Twin were my technicians and they did a super job. No damaged items at all. They communicated well, explained what they would be doing, how it would be charged and ensured I understood everything before they started.The work is charged by how much time they take to do the move and they never took a break of any kind during the entire move (which I was surprised). Could not have asked for a better performance.Only objectionable thing I noticed was the 6% fee for processing credit cards, which is double the norm.

Smells of high marijuana and took several hours to un load

The guys did a good job. I had two items damaged and no one will follow up with me. For that reason I would recommend not taking a chance.

I have used this company literally for the last five years I travel a lot and they have moved me all five times. I wouldn’t use anyone else to move me they are always professional always on time and they do what they have to to get me moved in at the time I need to be in! They have saved me every time I needed them thank you so much to Collin and Twin for making this move easy for me and my son. This company did an excellent job of following through with delivery! Phillip was excellent to work with and went well above and beyond to ensure my items were delivered in a timely manner! I was notified the delivery was running a bit off schedule, but Phillip did a wonderful job of following up and coordinating so that schedules could be accommodated and delivery occurred as promised.

DZ helped move my mom and I and it was kind of an unexpected thing so our stress levels were super high. Both Ramzy and Dave with DZ were professional and handled our belongings with care and I really felt like I got my moneys worth and then some. Every other place I called had crazy high prices. I guess you can still have great service and not break the bank, my faith in humanity is restored. Seriously, save yourself from a lot fo stress and use them for your move!

I was in a time crunch trying to find a mover. A friend recommended DZ so we decided give this local company a shot. Sean, David, Jay and Roger arrived on time. They were polite, introduced themselves and shook my hand. They looked me in the eye and communicated nicely throughout the process. I liked that they were friendly, but also professional. They worked very well together as a team. They wrapped, padded and cushioned my items very well and not make a huge mess while working. Stan recommended 2 trucks and 4 guys, which worked out well. We have a moderately large home and it took 9 hours. I felt that the price was reasonable. There was a $50 out of town fee for moving to the next county, which I wasnt told about up front, but everything else was as represented by Stan. We were pleased with DZ and would use them again!

We used DZ Moving for a move from Louisville to Columbus, Ohio & were very pleased with our service! Prices were far less than quoted national moving companies! They didnt require box or item counts to provide a price, just an estimate as to what would fit in the truck. Our movers, James & David, packed the truck tight and got all our belongings safely to our new home! They were a kind, professional moving team and would definitely recommend them to anyone moving to/from the Louisville area!

Im a truck driver and have delivered to this place many times and they always unload me early and philip the manager is very nice as well as all the warehouse workers, i wish all the loads i deliver cod be this easy

The movers were very personable I thought they were pretty nice guys Collin and I cant recall the other guys name however I paid $250 for two hours of moving,35 minutes into the move the younger guy was suggesting we go to the storage to drop off the stuff we already had loaded. I told him my storage was literally five minutes away and it shouldnt take long to unload especially since my children and I were helping unload. We continued to move stuff for about 15 more minutes when he made the suggestion again. By then I was like thats fine we can unload this stuff and come back for the rest. By the time we got finished unloading we still had 40 minutes left I asked if we could go back to get more stuff and the younger guy replied it would take to long to load more stuff and come drop it off. I said my house is five minutes away and I have 40 minutes left we can move what ever we can in that time frame. Where the younger guy then replys we cant really do that. I was upset at hearing that especially since I had to pay for the whole hour instead of having a confrontation I said thanks signed the paper and I headed home to call my ex-husband and tell him what happen since after all he was the one who arranged the movers. When he called to tell the manager at the office what happened, he was told that they did a walk through and asked me if I wanted them to my be anything else and I said no. Firstly that was a out right LIE they never did a walk through and they didnt ask me if I wanted them to move anything else. What person in there right mind would tell someone they just paid $250 to move there stuff No I dont want you to move any of the 24 large boxes or the two couches the computer desk or the dresser or freezer Im just going to move it all myself I just paid you all that money for no reason and I will just pay another company to move the stuff that you were paid to move. I mean really. So I am really upset about that and the fact that I now have to pay another moving company to move the stuff that DZ movers should of could of but didnt move. Sorry about the long rant but this situation is totally reprehensible.

These guys are awesome! They moved us on Monday and they were fast, professional, and seemed to actually enjoy their work. I knew exactly when they were coming and they have the best prices in town! We will definitely use them when we find a house! I am recommending them to everyone!

I missed my appointment due to technical issues and Phil and his helper delivered my 3 couches and 2 huge boxes of outside furniture at 10PM after all of their routes for the day!!! They were still professional even after a 13 hour day of moving large items. I was super impressed and would recommend this company to anyone with moving needs, big or small!!!! One of the movers was very active and hyped which I believe caused him to be careless and damage and broke things ...his partner Mike was very cautious and considerate with the furniture and items. Overall the movers personality was great ..I would use them again but I would make sure and check out the individuals they send...I am sure they have track records if not they may wish to consider.

Just had White Glove Delivery of mattress. No white gloves but the men stopped, asked if they could wash their hands, and then carefully positioned the mattress in place. A very nice touch that I greatly appreciated.

The man who took the information and set the delivery was extremely rude and unprofessional And I would never refer this company to anyone . If I could give them a 0, I would not because the movers themselves who were ok

Best company in Louisville. Stan is very friendly and the guys that moved us was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend DZ and Stan to anyone looking to hire movers. DZ is the only company that doesnt hit you up for a fee to show up or an hour upfront fee.. Ive even referred the owner of my company to use them...

James and AJ are absolutely the best! I have very valuable, very intricately carved furniture that is very difficult to protect and there is not a break, or scratch or mark of any kind on it. Also, they had difficult circumstances to maneuver through such as having to go around 2 successive corners. They also had to travel 2 lane roads with hairpin turns. They navigated all of this expertly, cheerfully, politely and quickly. I have been through several moves throughout the country with my career and I cant say enough positive things about James, AJ and DZ Moving. Stan organized it, listened carefully to all my concerns before moving and made sure I had the best crew, the best equipment and wonderful peace of mind. They were also much less expensive than most carriers. I would heartily recommend them to everyone!! I know I will always use them!!

Had the pleasure of having James and A.J. help me move out of my apartment. They were respectful and professional and did a wonderful job. They didnt waste time and finished the move quite quickly compared to the people who moved me in to the apartment in the first place. Not once did I hear them complain how heavy something was or when we had to make a stop before the final destination to drop something off that I was selling to a friend. They were respectful of my stuff and made sure everything arrived at the final destination in pristine condition. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Their office was also great and I didnt have to stress out once about whether they would keep to their appointment or if they would try to rip me off like some other places in town tried to. Overall top notch experience. Def go with these guys if you have a chance.

Although moving is not my favorite task. The movers Kenny, Dominique and Colin were exceptional at handling my furniture with poise and grace. They were professional and efficient. I felt that they took pride in moving my belongings as if it was their furniture. They carefully wrapped my fragile items and ensured that all furnishings were assembled and placed in the appropriate rooms. DZ moving and storage is the only way to go. Request Kenny, Dominique and Colin. Theyre awesome..

My boyfriend and I just moved two days ago. Ive never really had movers help me so I wasnt sure what to expect. I was completely used to the long hours and strenuous work of moving either by myself or with a couple of friends and family members to always help. However, the hardest part I had to accomplish of my moving process was packing. (Not hard at all) The movers showed up on the time, extremely friendly, personable, and efficient. The move went by so fast. The teamwork the two gentlemen showed was impeccable! I completely enjoyed the experience of DZ movers and will definitely use them again on my next move! Thanks again!
