Fantastic work on the Ariens 42” zero turn! Got it in 2019 and the guys stayed in touchthrough it being serviced. She came back clean! And purrrrring! I was impressed with how the shop cleaned up the engine bay. And all didn’t cost a lot!

I bought a Toro Super Recycler residential push mower today and the experience was absolutely awesome. You can buy a push mower at any big box store, but my wife and I like to support local businesses when we can. Walking into a shop that sells much more expensive commercial equipment everyday you never know how youre going to be treated when buying a smaller ticket item. Those questions were put to rest within 15 seconds of walking in the door. Even though we were first time customers we were treated like family from the very beginning until I was helped load the mower into the car. Great local business that I would highly recommend!

My fiance and I just recently bought a new Toro lawn mower. From the moment we walked in the door to the second that we left we were treated like nothing but family. The gentleman who check this out at the counter, I believe his name was Amile, was extremely nice and very helpful. Anyone can go to Home Depot and buy the same lawn mower but the experience of buying from a local family-owned business is way more satisfying. I definitely recommend this place even if its for a simple push mower.

My Daughter is fostering a little boy who has had a tough time in life. This kid lives for Saturday because on Saturday he comes over to my house to ride the riding lawnmower that he calls tractor. Unfortunately a few weeks ago, on a Friday, the mower broke. I spoke to Dan and explained the situation to him. After learning the engine could not be repaired, he sold me a used one and had it delivered that day. Dan and his team made a huge difference in the life of a two year kid who simply wants to ride a tractor.The team at the mower shop care about people. They are amazing. One of the only stores in town that sells parts but if you dont rent their equipment or take your stuff there they will NOT sell to you! Some of the worst customer service I have seen!

Went there for help on my lawn mower with a Honda engine. I did not purchase the mower from them, but they were incredibly helpful and even got me my replacement part instead of having me purchase a whole carburetor. Got my lawn mower back fixed up and running great. Will only be going to them for my mower and lawn equipment needs.

5 Stars is a must for The Mower Shop. I bought Stihl Trimmers from another dealer. I wont name the dealer (Ill just say that they only care about selling Weber Grills and Green Eggs). I took the trimmers to the original selling dealer for an issue that wouldnt allow the trimmers to function. I had only used them once. They charged me to take them apart for a repair. The same issue happened again this year. I took them back to the original dealer and they actually told me to come pick the trimmers up and suggested that I take them to The Mower Shop. Im so happy that they did. Dan and Annette have been wonderful. They got my trimmers fixed under warranty and they have been the absolute best people to work with. If you like Stihl products, The Mower Shop is only place to go. Sales or Service. Dont waste your time with any other dealer. Dan is the Man! Thanks again for your great customer service.

During the winter I dropped my ex mark walk behind mower off to be serviced and prepared for spring. During the time they were working on my walk behind I injured my leg and the doctor told me I might need a knee replacement. So I thought it was time to get a zero turn mower that I could ride. I called Dan and bought a quest 46 inch mower over the phone without seeing it. You only do that with people you trust. This is a great company and they’ve always treated me fair.

Being a new home owner in the highlands has been an adventure. Lots of power outages due to old power lines meant a generator was in our future. I walked into The Mower Shop thinking I was going to need a huge (and expensive) generator. Instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge, they explained why I didnt need the huge one and sent me on my way with exactly what I needed! I walked in a skeptic but walked out a lifelong customer! Theres a reason these guys are always so busy! (also, Honda EU2000 is PERFECT if you live in an area with frequent power outages! Quiet, powerful and lightweight! We set it up out back, ran an extension cord from it into the house and let it do its thing! - The Mower Shop had the best deal on it too!) 10/10 would recommend!

Id give them 1 star but, in the past theyve been semi ok. As of 2020, not so much. Ive been a long time customer and its occasionally been frustrating. Now, its just down right pathetic. Basically, if youre a homeowner ... they dont want to deal with you. If you didnt buy your mower from them, the service gets even worse. My last visit, beside blowing me off, they gave me the wrong part. The dude I dealt with didnt know anything... A total lack of customer service. I cant wait to show them the receipt from my new Exmark, I proudly buy somewhere else. Im done w/ the mower shop.

Excellent. Great customer service, fast turn around. They fixed the problem I was having with my Honda Lawnmower at a very very reasonable cost. Even pressure washed it without me asking. Light-years ahead of the service I had received in the past at the Honda Power Equipment dealer on the east end of town. Will be using the Mower Shop for all my needs going forward.

Had a mower with a disconnected throttle spring that I had overlooked, guy came into the parking lot looked at it for less than a minute and had me running. No charge and he even helped me load it, AND it was 20 minutes from closing time on a Friday.Great experience 10/10

My mom and I went in to buy a weed eater. We ended up being helped by a guy who was really knowledgeable on the subject. Helped us choose the best one for us, and even put on a new head that would be easier to feed the line through. Our experience was great, we learned a lot and he took very good care of us. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back for any of our lawn needs!

Terrible employees here, called 2 different times for 2 different parts an not only could they not help me find the part I needed they talked to me like I was a 5 year old they where rude and extremely ignorant on parts for my mower which is funny considering its called The Mower Shop an when they finally was able to give me a price on a fuel shut off solenoid they wanted $80 for it! Its only $7.99 online, I will not be calling or going here any more.

I have found it hard to find a reliable, honest and trustworthy lawn equipment store. That is until I found The Mower Shop. In the past year or so Ive bought two Stihl chainsaws and a Honda HRX217HYA. After the purchase of the two saws I didnt even price shop the mower because its about more than price. Its about the service and eagerness to help you and instruct in any way they can. Elliot was my salesperson who was able to answer every question I had and didnt try to upsale or oversale me. He asked the questions to know what which mower best fit my needs. And I have since found they did have the best price on the mower!

They stand behind their products 100% and always attempt to be fair.Because of this positive past experience with them, I would never consider going elsewhere for lawn equipment and services.

I have been using this shop over the years as a non professional. They always seem to have what I need at a reasonable price. One time they did not and they told me where I could find it that day. They are knowledgeable and helpful for us that are just handy and not positive what we need. I also had to exchange a part as the cross reference came up incorrectly and they were really nice during the transaction. I am sure there are other places you could go but the staff here makes a difference for me.

Called and asked about a used mower they had what I was looking for. They held it for me till I could get to them. Snapper 33in cut rear engine rider. Great staff, people know their stuff. Go see them.

Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable sales staff that can answer any questions you have about their products. Purchased products come completely assembled, full of gas and oil, and ready to run. Unlike box stores that give you the product in a box for you to assemble and service.

My husband and I went to look for a chainsaw. The prices were far more affordable than Lowes. Plus it was a far better brand. The man that helped us was very friendly and made sure the chainsaw was in the best shape possible before selling it to us. Very happy with our experience.

These guys are experts in their field and they have an amazing assortment of spare parts. I walked in a couple years ago to buy a part for a thirty-year-old trimmer and they had it in stock and it was about 6 bucks. A couple months ago I bought a new Stihl trimmer from them and paid more than a regular residential user might in buying one online or at Lowes or Home Depot but I wanted service and parts after the fact for the next 20 years. There was a promotional part of my purchase a couple months ago that we didnt complete and I, today, ask my original sales rep from that purchase to reconcile the issue and he did that for me today. Personal service with integrity. I will continue to spend money with these guys as long as I live in Louisville.
