I literally called the owner of this laundromat when the place was almost closed that night when I was taking a trip the next day and she spent time explaining all the details about how I could get everything done that I needed to get done. And then I went down there and I couldn’t get the card reader to work to pay for the loads so she and her husband drove 30 minutes to help me and got everything fixed for me so I could get my clothes clean and travel the next day… These people are the BEST and I wouldn’t ever use another laundromat!
I have been using this laundromat for 7 years since I moved to the area. They keep their machines well maintained and rotate out new machines before needed. They have many large capacity washing machines and dryers. The cost is fair and the dryers work fantastic without over charging. Some machines also have swipes for credit cards. It’s always clean and comfortable. It has a great rotation of customers coming and going so it’s not normally too many people there at once. My favorite laundromat in Louisville!
I havent been to a laundromat in several years and boy have I been missing out. This place is GREAT!!This place is very clean, bright and organized. The young man working was extremely nice and helpful. I had at least 4 big comforters and 3 bags of clothes and Alex showed me around and how to put items together for washing that would make it the most cost effective and easiest to do.I spent about $22.00 and 2 hrs and got everything done.I can definitely recommend using this laundromat!
Easy to use, clean, and everything seemed in good repair. Had to make a quick stop in here on a trip. They do accept credit cards!
The drop off laundry service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I had brand new white towels returned to me with blue stains all over them and they all were a dingy grey. About $75 worth of items ruined! When I called, Amanda could have cared less saying their “policy” makes them not responsible. Really? Why were my whites mixed with a color item? Why don’t you offer to look at the problem? No customer service. Shameful. The couple here used to care abs be so nice. That’s over. Beware!
Very clean, quiet and the machine are HE and really get your clothes clean parking in the rear. You can also use your debit card to get quarters plus plus.
$3.50 for one load washers.$3.75 for two load washers.$5.25 for what look like 2 load washers also?$6.75 for large capacity washers.$0.75 per 12 minutes on regular capacity dryers.$1.25 per 15 minutes on high capacity dryers. (best value if you have a lot of items)Not a ghetto building. Not a ghetto neighborhood. No ghetto people as far as I could tell. Takes debit cards on some washers and dryers.Front door is locked unless youre apart of their 24 club. Back door is unlocked for all during posted business hours.Didnt see anyone working here / supervising, which was odd.
Nice laundromat. Attendant was helpful and it was nice that they had both coin and card payment options.
The lady that was working was very sweet. She keeps the laundromat immaculate! The washers and dryers take debit/credit cards or quarters.
I sensed insufficient water for the rinse cycle because my clothes often smelled as though they had not been cleaned and rinsed thoroughly. Although convenient, I go elsewhere now. It could just be my imagination. Otherwise, I think its a terrific location with modern equipment.
Hands-down bar none best laundromat in Louisville. Every machine works perfectly all day every day no hassles. The owner is John and Amanda are awesome and are happy to have a friendly conversation with you while you’re doing your laundry. Highly recommend
Great place. Owners are very friendly and helpful!
Excellent drop off service. Friendly, straight forward, professional. Great results - neat folding. I dont know if its taboo to mention prices but there is a 14 lb. minimum, I had 14 lb. exactly and it cost $18.00...I dont remember what it was when I was traveling, but it was worth it this time to me. Dropped off around 8:30 AM and got my clean clothes around 4:00 PM.
Convenient location. Excellent customer service. Recent improvements include: new HE washing machines, new large capacity dryers, overhead ventilation fans, flat screen television (local channels), ****New....New...New carpet... And clean facility. They have after hours keyless entry....which is great for nights when I cant get to sleep and need to clean my laundry.... The owners name is John... Hes normally there during business hours....Check it out....nice place
This place is on a nice side of town. They are a little more expensive, but the machines always seem to be working, which is good. There is parking in the back, which is kind of hidden. For a monthly fee, you can also join a membership which allows you to come do laundry on the off hours with an access card, which could be really convenient for some folk. Its very clean, which I can appreciate.
Super clean, really friendly owners. Ive been going here the whole three years Ive lived in the highlands and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else!
Always cleaned and well maintained. They close kind of early but as long as you get there before the doors lock you can remain inside to finish up!
Cleanest laundry mat I have ever been too! Friendly helpful staff. Drop off service Monday-Friday. Some of the washers and dryers take credit card as well as quarters. You can pay for after hours use to get your laundry done which is nice!
I went there today for the first time thanks to google reviews... It was clean, prices were cheap, and the lady that worked there was awesome... There 60lb washer was the best I was in and out in a hour with 4 big loads of laundry... I found my new favorite laundromat...
Great place to wash
Very nice and courtesy folks. If you get your laundry there early they will sometimes get it finished the same day. Fantastic service and people.
Sure this place is a nice establishment. But 4.00 for a load of laundry is outrageous to me! I’ve been here only once but I’m not sure if I will come back again. Unless they lower the prices.
Ive been to this laundromat twice so far and plan on returning frequently. Its clean, most of the machines are new, I felt like my belongings were always safe if I needed to step away to take a call, and the customer service was excellent. Last time I stopped in, while waiting for my clothes to dry, I struck up a conversation with John (the owner). Before I knew it, I got a great primer on how best to wash and dry my clothes, what machines I should use, and the history of the laundromat in context with the neighborhood. He was great to talk to. Highly recommended!
Nice quiet friendly place never crowded havent been there since I lived out that way, but even though I live in old Louisville now this is still my favorite laundromat
Zero stars. Thankfully I will never have to come back! I am a very busy single father, juggling two children with a full time job while also finishing my doctorate. I am also Hispanic. I was treated very rudely, as if my skin color and ethnicity wasnt welcome in his establishment. After running across the street to pick up something to eat for my two sons, he made me leave and wouldnt even let me dry my clothing! I had to haul my familys soaking wet clothes out to the car. He refused to let me use the driers, saying he would call the cops if I came back! Thankfully there was another laundromat right up the road on Brownsboro. I recommend going there instead!
Owner is very nice, place is clean and the machines are new which help cuts your laundry time in half. They also have a drop off service.Does get a little busy at times but still always able to fine a machine.
Here’s info you do not need if you’re searching for laundromats: Laundry sucks. Laundromats usually do too. This one doesn’t. It checks all the important boxes for me: clean floors (ever dropped a pair of underwear on the floor and picked up a wad of lint with it? Ugh), clean and functional machines that are not 50 years old and 90% busted, alternative payments (some machines take credit cards) and available parking. I thought it cost a little more to do laundry here, but I just tried the 5-load machine for the first time ($6.75, takes debit/credit) and I ended up paying less this time than before. Plus, it finished faster than the time it took to walk to Please & Thank You to get a coffee (another perk).
I like this location. I feel very safe if Im doing laundry by myself. The owner and his family are very kind. Its a bit pricey, but the machines are big enough to wash my comforters and other items. The machines take credit cards so you dont have to weigh your pockets down with quarters. People are friendly and parking is also good if you dont want to park in the back you can park in front of the building. This place is much better than the raggedy laundromat on lower Brownsboro next to the Papa Johns.
I am assuming that everyone with good reviews have never been to another laundromat. This place is BY FAR one of the worst laundromats I have ever been to. First off, the regular sized washers are not commercial grade.. with that being said be prepared to have your clothes eaten alive. I lost 4 sweaters and a blanket after this thing they call a washer chewed several holes in it. Secondly, far from cheap. The dryers have a hand written sign that claim each swipe of your credit card gives you 15 minutes. Watch closely... you only actually get 6 minutes. I spent 38.00 on laundry that should have cost me less than 15. I actually left and went to a different place and rewashed everything.. This place is gross. I disputed all the charges.. refuse to give this dump any of my money just to get dirty clothes with holes back. STAY AWAY!
Nice place. A bit pricey though. Only weird thing is you cannot enter or exit through the front door unless you pay an annual fee. Otherwise have to go around back
Not 24 hours, but they do offer a 24 hour membership that is $40 per year. They charge $4/load just to wash for the smaller washers AND the medium washers. Quite a bit pricey, but the place is clean, inviting and they have WiFi.
Unfortunately things do happen unintentionally. Which is why on each service agreement it is stated Not responsible for color bleed and for laundry left over 30 days. We try to take extra care of all items that come in for our drop off service. - JohnThere is a standard of conduct and courtesy to others. If that standard cant be met then you are out. -JohnTaylor- Thank you for being a loyal customer - John
I HATE going to ANY laundromatBut having to hear 700 Club, Rush Limbaugh, and other right wing psycho drivel makes it that much worse. $4 for the small wash.I recommend going to the laundromat on Brownsboro Rd. $2 small washers and they actually have a place to sit. I only come here when Im running so low on time as to be late for work.
I go here regularly and I love that its always clean, rarely packed and very safe. I usually put my wash in and pop next door to get water and snacks. Ive never had an issue with it. My stuff is always where I left it, but I dont usually stay gone more than 10 mins. The wash is a little more than Id like to pay but the wifi is good and with all the cameras, its a good trade off.
Ive been using the Wash Dry Fold drop off service here for years. Consistent, fair price, theyre always nice, great hours of operation. What more could you want?
Helpful staff nice clean equipmentPricey ! But worth it .
There is a reason this place is not busy. $4 for a single load of laundry?! Then if you use the larger machines, its about $6 for a single load. The place is clean, and the machines work, but its too rich for my blood.
WORST customer service experience EVER!! First of all, washing machine DAMAGED two of my shirts beyond repair!! After loading dryer, I set a timer on my phone and ran across the street to pickup some lunch, while my clothes were drying. When I came back, the owner GRABBED my boyfriend by his shirt and told him we had to leave because we left clothes unattended. The dryer hadnt gone off more than 3-4 minutes prior. Then he wouldnt even let us fold our clothes before we left, said hed call the police on us for tresspassing!! HES A SENILE LAUNDRY NATZI!!
Great service I use them when I go to the AP reading in May. They do a great job with the wash dry fold service and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended.
Clean, well lit laundry mat off Frankfort Ave. 24 hour availability with a paid membership.
People were rude when wanting to use an empty cart, claiming it was theirs and then getting up to go grab another one. I guess wasnt aware that you can hang on to an empty cart even when you arent using it. I always have a bad experience here because it seems like others dont really have much concern for anyone other than themselves. The owners keep it clean but other than that they really dont seem to be very nice.
They very nice and polite and friendly it is also very clean and the washers and dryers run good
Very clean and safe. Unlike the laundromat off of eastern pkwy n preston
I go in this morning shortly after they open, put 1 comforter in the wash, timer said 25 minutes. I came back about 30-35 minutes, grabbed the comforter, threw it in the dryer, with ample amount of time. I think it was about 45 min-1hr. I come back about 1.5 hours later, with some concern about my laundry still being here (though not much at all). When I went in there are only a handful of customers, so I was glad that I wasnt keeping anyone from drying their clothes. They have about 10-12 dryers, and Ive never seen them all full, but still. I ask the owners wife about my blanket and she tells her husband. He walks up to me, gets in my face (now I have to smell his nasty cigarette/coffee breath). He begins to tell me that he has told me numerous times not to come in and leave my clothes. He then tells me that I am now banned from his establishment, I ask Why, and he points to his sign that says Not responsible for lost/damaged/stolen items. So I first speak to him and explain that he hasnt spoken to me ever about leaving my clothes unattended, and his sign says nothing about the repercussions if you need to leave, nor anything about banning customers from his business if I leave and come back. He then proceeds to get my blanket from the office. Instead of handing it to me, he threw it on the ground. Now obviously, I said some words to him after that. Ironically, I own my own washer/dryer and only use him to wash my comforter. Its fine that he doesnt want me back cause I would never go back after the way he treated me. He demands customers stay with their clothes, while in most laundromats there are things to keep you occupied (video games, tv that works, normally priced sodas/snacks (his business sells cans for $1.25), at his theres nothing to do. You can watch some TV if your lucky enough to get it in but if the sound doesnt work and the screen foes in/out, then why bother.
Always do a great job. Very friendly.
Worst customer service in louisville. Lady wouldnt leave me alone and stood looking over my shoulder while loading and starting the machine. Then that lady and a customer spoke about me like I couldnt hear them. I will never come back here again.
CONS:The HOT water is NOT HOT. The last three times Ive been here Ive used the two biggest machines as well as the other size machines right next to them and the water during the mainwash is not hot. The first time I noticed it I mentioned it to the attendant and she said it was because of the really thick glass but I could feel the glass was cold during the rinse so I thought this answer was ridiculous. I decided I would call the manufacturer while I was standing there. The engineer I spoke to said that you should absolutely be able to tell the water was hot by putting your hand on the glass--you wont burn yourself, but you will know its hot.The reason Im finally writing this review is that last night when I put a huge hot load in, the water during the mainwash was LUKEWARM. I had already run three other hot loads (which were really WARM, NOT HOT) so I was hoping the hot water heater would be working to replenish the hot water after all of the other loads and I would actually get a hot wash for once. NOPE.PROS:Great big washers and great big dryers. The reason I keep coming back is that the facility is very clean and well cared for, AND they take credit cards which is awesome, so no quarters or change machines. They even have an after hours membership for people who need to wash clothes before or after hours.
If your on a budget, this is expensive. 4.50 to wash one load, drier charges 15.00 fee on card and deducts what is uaed.
Clean, friendly...good working machines
Nice place good machines
Staff is nice but the washers dont work well, some of my clothes that I washed were still obviously dirty and unwearable
I go here once a week... always clean, quick and easy
Very clean and safe
Clean and no need to bring cash they have a credit/debit card machine attached to washers and dryers
I think it is expensive. It opens after 8pm for club members.
Clean. safe.
Close to home. Very clean
Pretty busy, no entertainment.

Moldy inside of a few washers and their chairs in the sitting areas are disgusting, falling apart and theres no restroom.
