I called for service on may 26th. I just now got one of the two trash cans delivered to the wrong house. I have called multiple times throughout June to get my trash cans. A few days ago they agreed to credit my account back for the fee that was originally charged since I hadn’t received the cans and only one pickup of bags. I called back today for the status on my second can and to ask about the credit that I had not received. The lady that I spoke with told me that the credit was not going to happen and that the delivery dates that I gave her we’re not accurate. I let her know that it is what I was told but she continued to say that she had something different in her system. I was so over dealing with them that I cancelled service all together. DO NOT GO WITH REPUBLIC!!
I had to go there to pick up a load. The people in the scale house apparently arent very intelligent. The girl couldnt comprehend my pick up # that I gave repeatedly,same number. Then she accused me of saying it wrong. The loader operator was professional and gave me a paper that the girls in the scale house forgot to give me. Not a bad place, it would be nice if the girls in the scale house were a little more professional.
I have been using Republic for my household trash and yard waste for about 2 or more years. I am totally unable to get in touch with them to make sure they pick up my yard waste can (they dont unless you call to make sure its on their schedule). Even for household trash they often leave the emptied can upside down and/or partially in the street. I get it that covid has put a strain on all services, but to not answer the phone after me calling every single day for a full week and being put on hold without hearing a real person or any hope of being answered until I eventually hang up after 30 minutes hold, is just not at all considerate of the person using their service.
No thank you. I called today to cancel my service, and the person on the phone, Laura or Lauren was completely rude and unprofessional. Good luck on keeping customer with type of customer service.
Horrible service, billing me for items that werent even included in the original bid. They got one of my tenants to sign the lease extension that automatically renewed every year without my consent...then when I tried to get him to remove the dumpster permanently they wanted to charge me a $1,500 breaking in the contract fee... I hired an attorney and got it resolved...Every time I called customer service to try to get resolved they would send me the sales rep locally that didnt know anything...Snakes and low life company
I have requested a new container two weeks ago and received a confirmation email with a date. The date came and went but had to contact the company again. Received an apology email stating they had to reschedule for the following week. Well the reschedule date came and again I did not receive my new container. I wonder if they would be so forgiving if we didn’t pay our bill for their services. I think not. Terrible service and would not recommend this company to anyone😡😡 I will be contacting our HOA to change services.
Absolutely horrible 😞.. rude disrespectful and not willing to work with you during this time .. I paid for my service a week ago, and they still came and picked up the trash can 6 days after paid, then wanted to charge new delivery fee for can.. nope Ill go elsewhere.
I am on a fixed income,. Republic Services raisex my monthly bill $40 without any notice. When I called toask why, the told me they have a right to do so at leat once a year. I went to WM and saved money.
I have had enough of you guys throwing my empty garbage cans in my driveway making it so I have to get out of my vehicle to move them in order to get off the busy street and pull in to my home via said driveway. I always respectfully place the full cans exactly how you want them at pickup. Can you not do the same? When you throw them in the yard all crazy I don’t say nothing ever, but I’m so frustrated with this new level of laziness, I made a formal complaint. Here’s how your lack of care affects people. Because the cans were in the driveway again after service, the coroner had to park all the way down on the street when arriving to handle my husbands sudden death in our home. They carried his body out of the house in a body bag that EVERYONE in the neighborhood could see because they had to walk across and down the property to the hearse. Had he been able to pull up to the house NO ONE would have seen that. He didn’t move them because he didn’t know wtf about no garbage cans. Crazy how something so dumb can be so crucial. Address this w/workers PLEASE!
New customer! Very disappointed! Missed pick-up. Three calls to customer service, three different people, three different answers. Told two hour delay now I’m told they MAY come out in three days from now..... maybe! Then I’m told they can’t come back today (my schedule pick up day) because it would use up too much gas. I kid you not that’s what the lady said!I’ll see if my previous refuse company can resume service. These people SUCK!
Have not picked up my garbage in two weeks. Called customer service and spoke with a manager as of today THEY HAVE STILL NOT PICKED UP MY GARBAGE! I wouldnt even give them a one, but thats the least option. Well, they just lost a loyal customer of two years!!!
Horrible company !!!! There are MUCH BETTER companies out there in Louisville!!!They take your post down if the don’t like it! Don’t use them. They give you one rate and then all of a sudden jack your price up!! It took them from April 3rd till april 23rd to remove our cans from our property. They told me April 3rd, 10th, 17, 21st they would be picked up and were a NO SHOW EACH TIME!!! Finally picked up on 23rd and then send me a bill charging me $150 for the cans! Very rude and unprofessional!!!!!!
Three months, three different people. Twice I have been told my service is up to date yet I owe for cans that are still at my house? I was told today the problem has to go to a supervisor, was told this twice before yet my service is interrupted?
These people with overcharge your. Depending on your area. we had them in a previous area and they were great. Moved and was told the rates were similar. Then when I tried to get a bulk pick up was told it would be an extra $50 per time because they send a different truck. I said no way and canceled after only having service for three weeks. When I got my bill they charge $30 delivery fee per container and a $30 pick up fee. That $120 in fees I wasnt aware of for services of less than a full month on top of the regular charges. I got a much better deal from Waste Management, Will never recommend republic again.
Was told the bill would be 29 a month including cab ordered 2 extra cans for 5.05 per can. come to find out they charge a 5.95 online fee, 19 pick up fee total comes out to 78 a quarter.. Ridiculous call to get it fixed and she was rude n not helpful.. wouldn’t recommend this service to a homeless person
Horrible service. After pickup, they either leave my cans in the middle of the road or over on their side and continuously leave trash in the street. I call customer service, yet get no action. I do not recommend!
I dont even know how this is even a company, they are pathetic.
