Jackie gives you an immediate attitude if you dont feel comfortable with the company she wants you to interview with and also provides fake leads. All recruiting agencies do to people is lie and waste your time. Always get hired through a company directly.

Vaco was excellent to work with in every way. I was a little nervous about changing my career path and they coached me through the transition. They asked a lot of detailed questions in our first meeting to make sure they had all the information needed to find perfect matches for my next employer. Once my employer was found they negotiated a salary and benefits package that far exceeded my expectations. Holly Berry and Cliff and extremely helpful, thorough and reliable. I was in an extremely tight bond due to changing coverages for insurance while working and through every issue Holly remained humble and diligent. She found me a new position after losing my position within 14 days.

I could not imagine a better place to work! Best in the business by a land slide.

1.) My interviewer clearly had no idea about my background or credentials; she asked me for a copy of my resume because she didn’t have one (and obviously had not looked at it);2.) The interviewer asked the same questions, phrased differently, multiple times. It was like one of those high school standardized personality tests where they try to catch you lying. It was juvenile and almost hostile in the way it was delivered;3.) When I asked about specifics (pay rates, benefits, company culture, etc.), every response was “it varies”;4.) When the interviewer realized I have an Associate’s-NOT a Bachelor’s-I was summarily dismissed. If she would have bothered to glance at my resume, we both could have avoided this colossal waste of time, since she heavily implied Vaco only represents those with Bachelor’s or higher;5.) I was hired in an accounting management role (by another recruiter, obviously)the week after this interview, so know that I’m an actual professional, whereas in my experience, no one at Vaco is.

I had the pleasure of working with Vaco for multiple temp jobs including in their actual office and was extremely pleased with my experience. Kim Carroll and Jennifer Massey are very good at what they do! I would love to have the opportunity to work with Vaco again in the future.

Nice people, nice environment. I wouldve gave 5 stars if they wouldve contacted me after the interview. I wrote emails and left multiple voice messages. Did not hear from them, so I guess I didnt get the job, which meant they didnt need to stay in touch.

Searching for a job has to be one of the top 5 most challenging tasks to accomplish. I had been in search for a job for 4 months because I wasnt able to find a job that best suited me. VACO made things so simple, easy and strengthened my confidence that had been demolished by numerous rejections. I couldnt give VACO a great review without mentioning how great my recruiter, Kimberly Carroll, is. She is an extraordinary person who genuinely cares about your best interest. It took one job placement and I couldnt have asked for a better job placement. I love the company I currently work for including the pay, benefits and so much more. Without Kim I wouldnt have found such a perfect fit for both me and the company. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you!

Very disappointed. At first they are extremely hard to get a hold of. If I’m gonna be working with them, that’s not a good sign. Then I went in to meet them, the manager was very unwelcoming. I guess she treats people that are lower than her very poorly. After the interview, they didn’t find 1 employer that would want to see me which is weird because another recruiting firms have found me a lot of potential employers that would like to work with me so I know my resume isn’t the problem. Either vaco decided that I’m not worth the interviews or they completely forgot about Me. Either way it’s very bad. The worst thing is after my initial interview, they asked for the name and numbers of my current employers and they promised me that they willNever contact them. So i guess it’s your risk to take if you’re going to this recruiting firm.
