My point-of-contact was very helpful in informing me about job opportunities that I was qualified for in my area and facilitated scheduling interviews as well as advice on making my resume stick out. He would also do his best to answer any questions I had and follow up with my experiences every couple weeks. I was offered a contract-to-hire position at my company and I was hired on full-time once the contract ended.

It was great working with Ingenium, particularly Kit. They were very prompt in finding the perfect fit for me. Their communication was superb. Hopefully I never will but if I ever find myself looking for another position, I will definitely use Ingenium.

Overall I was BLOWN AWAY!I have a background in Public Accounting and I often get messages on LinkedIn about recruiters in my inbox about job opportunities. Sounds horrible, but I typically just ignore these because they feel copy and pasted. I noticed that with Ingenium the message was more personalized than typical so I decided to go ahead and give them a chance. I never expected to actually utilize a recruiter for a career change because I thought “oh I don’t need their help.” Let me be the first to say that I was WAY WRONG. After working with Mike Henninger at Ingenium, I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to have Ingenium’s assistance. Mike reached out originally through LinkedIn and shortly after we had our first call to establish a baseline of interests. Not long after I had my first interview with the company I am currently at. Mike set up all the interviews, gathered feedback with the employer after each interview, negotiated salary and benefits, provided thank you letter and resignation letter templates and much more. I was taken aback by how little I truly had to do. Mike made sure to have interview prep calls before each interview, provided me with employer feedback afterwards, and made sure I was fully in the know at all times. I honestly feel like all I had to do was show up for the interview and I never once felt pressured to take steps I wasn’t comfortable with. If you are second-guessing whether you should use a recruiter I would have to say don’t.
