We had purchased an older home with a fireplace. As nothing had been done with the fireplace in 30 years, we called All American Chimney Service to do a full reworking of the interior of the chimney and chimney caps. We have been very impressed with All American Chimney Service, beginning with Andrew who did the initial assessment, as well as the gentlemen who did the fireplace work, and later Levi who answered some important questions for us. The work was done with Covid in mind and our safety, and with caring for our family room (installing full plastic protection). In addition to the important work on the chimney, All American Chimney Service installed beautiful new Birch gas logs. We are thankful to get this work completed, and will enjoy the fireplace for years to come!

Disorganized and unprofessional. Last Wednesday, the 29th, the technician never showed up, never called, just didn’t show. I made another appointment, they called and said they were going to be 45 minutes late. I had an OB appointment with my wife and couldn’t be late to that. I had already taken off from work twice and suggested that they wave their 80$ fee since they flaked on me twice. “Zacaria” called me and said it was my fault because I didn’t tell them that I had another appointment after theirs, and said that he was going to charge me 80$.At that point, I decided to trust my gut and go with another company.

No one was listening. I said I wanted the chimney completely out and they only did it below the roof line. How is that helpful? Then they were going to charge me double to do what I wanted compared to their competitors. I would not recommend them.

This is the second house that we’ve used All American on. Doug and his staff are amazing! They have been so professional and courteous while working on our home. They. We’re also able to save me a ton of money when a dispute arose with our buyers while selling our previous home. I recommend All American to all of our friends and family!

CAMERON.The tech for All American Chimney arrived in the time of the appointment. He was MASKED UP, introduced himself professionally representing the company.Got the dogs put up and told him to go about the inspection since I was working at home. When he needed me just call and I would meet him upstairs to discuss what more than likely would be needed to be done to eliminate the water leak thru ceiling beside the chimney.There were itemized emails with descriptions of the procedures.Also I believe after already having (3) price quotes they are not the cheapest but I have no doubt the job will be done correctly.Need to sell H.D. Motorcycle to have this done and I don’t think it would be a good idea to live on my Harley with my family!!

We have a ventless gas log fireplace that we havent used since we moved in 4 years ago.It wouldnt stay lit. We called AA Chimney and had a technician come out on initial call and he got it going and said it didnt need cleaning and saw no reason for it not to stay lit. We were still charged the full service charge but after technician left, our fireplace would still go out like before. A second visit was scheduled with Andrew. We explained our situation and he went to work checking everything from gas line pressure to studying our manual to help troubleshoot. He identified a placement issue with the temp sensor. He moved it to another location and it took care of the problem . Andrew was great. Management also stepped up and did not take our payment for the first visit. For our second call with Andrew, they only charged us about a third the cost of the first visit. We are completely satisfied and will be staying with AA Chimney Service, without a doubt.

They did a great job of communicating. Upon review they noticed something they missed and proactively came out and addressed. I probably would not have known they missed a step if they were not so thorough and great at communicating. Will definitely do business with again in the future for my next chimney needs.

They replaced my chase cover last year, and I started having some issues again recently so they came back and completely replaced it again with some enhancements to prevent future issues. I cannot say enough nice things about the young man, Josh, who came over and assess our chimney amongst other things. He went out of his way to give us more information than we could have imagined. And then they followed up with everything as expected and then some. He even gave us some really good pointers and information on how to assess some things that were being done with our roof because we were having a couple of issues with the roofing company doing our roof as well. Josh and his associates were extremely efficient, courteous, polite and professional. I also found them to be more than reasonable in price. Frankly, I would have paid more because of their service. If everyone is like Josh at this company than they are going to always be busy.

Well pleased with work. Weather didn’t cooperate and caused delays but worked to get task accomplished. Initial quote was graciously adjusted since some projected items were not needed to complete the project.

Our Technician Levi was on time and called before he arrived, He was not deterred by the rain as others have been. He completed everything, cleaned up after himself and never left a trace of his visit, just what I like! We were having a problem with our chimney after David York from First Call Chimney installed a liner. We were smelling gas when we burned our gas logs and soot was building up on the bricks above the fireplace screen. We could not get David to come over and look at the problem. Thankfully he didnt come. We called All American Chimney and they came and took video of the mess that was left by David York. Our liner was in three pieces, different sizes, and held together with screws. It wasnt lined, and it wasnt long enough. Basically everything David said he would do wasnt done and he made our chimney unsafe. So we had to start over. Levi, Noah and Zeke did our work. They were professional, polite, explained everything as they went, cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job! It took them two days to repair what was done by First Call Chimney. I have confidence that our chimney is now safe and in perfect working order. Dont make the mistake of taking the cheaper company! In our case we got less than we paid for.

2017 update: Still using All American Chimney, just had them clean and inspect before the fall burning season. Dwayne came out and did an awesome job, was very courteous and cleaned up the fireplace nice afterward.Over the years they have installed a fireplace insert, new chimney Cap and sealed the brick outside, nearly eliminating brick spalling. All good quality work at a fair price. The Regency insert has kept our house nice and toasty in the winter for three years.

He didn’t just settle for leaving them not working after the second fireplace was receiving no gas he traced the issue to a hot water heater being replaced and the tech that replaced had shut the gas line off to my fireplaces A simple flip of the switch both fire places operating perfectly .Great work Josh!

Did a good job on cleaning & inspection but communication about appointments needs to be better.Scheduled 1st appointment & no show. When called to inquire, was told they forgot to put it on their calendar.2nd appointment called to see why they were late, which they should have called to tell me why they were late.3rd appointment called to see why they were late again. Was told it was for the next day, which was a conflict on my schedule so never would have made it for that day. Had to reschedule.

About a week ago, my dryer started getting very hot to the touch (even on low heat) and wasnt actually drying the clothes. My dryer vents up to the roof and I couldnt get up there myself, so I started googling places that clean roof vents. All American Chimney was the best rated company and I see why now. The awesome Dewayne came out today and fixed everything right up and even gave me a report with pictures of the inside of the vent - all this for a very reasonable price as well. My dryer works perfectly now and is barely even warm to the touch on high heat. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them for vent maintenance in the future.Bonus points: Im also high-risk for COVID and I appreciated that Dewayne was masked and used gloves when necessary.

AACS did a complete install of a woodstove in our home. Could not be happier with the work they did, and were very affordable. We live about 35 minutes outside of Louisville and usually have trouble getting contractors to come to our house. AACS was very reliable, great communication, and always did what they said they would do. Extremely high quality work and we are thrilled with the final product. Josh was an excellent bricklayer. We used their service in Cincinnati, OH and they were great! Quick scheduling and very fair pricing. They arrived right on time and did a great job cleaning our fireplace. We needed a part repaired in order to sell our house and due to the age of the chimney it wasn’t possible to order the part. They were able to fix the part to still meet code and wrote up a letter we could provide to the buyer and the issue was solved! The crew and office staff were all very friendly and helpful!

Levi was our Technician, he was on time and called before he arrived. He cleaned our dryer vent and showed us how dirty it was. He left no mess from that. He wore his mask when we asked him to and even had booties ready to wear at the front door. He was more than knowledgeable with the dryer vent cleaning process. We also had the fireplace cleaned the same visit and he set out tarps and had a large vacuum for keeping the soot out of our house. The van was nice to see all lettered up and gave me reassurance this company means business. The certifications he has were through the CSIA and NFI he was genuine and friendly the entire visit. If you need your chimney swept or dryer vent cleaned call All American Chimney, they even replace chimney caps or in my case chase covers.

Originally very happy with this company, the service technicians were prompt and communicated the issues well. I was sent an email stating that a key component of the fireplace had to be replaced for the fireplace to work and that they were attempting to locate the part for me. I then received an email with new fireplace options without being told that they couldn’t locate parts, when I asked for clarification no one got back to me. I feel as though I essentially wasted 300 dollars on this company and recommend looking elsewhere for service.

Andrew was very professional, instructing me about each step in the inspection process and advising of the results. I have a gas fireplace so he tested for gas flow and if any carbon monoxide was being emmited. I would definitely recommend him and American Chimney.

We had just bought a house here in Kentucky, when shortly after the purchase, we saw a bad leak around one of the chimneys. Had three companies come out and only All American climbed up to look closely. It took a number of trips and a tad longer than we thought (weather did not always cooperate!), but both chimneys now have new caps, new flashing, and one relined. I called All American Chimney at 4:45 pm, and they were able to have a technician on site the very next day. Kevin came on site, and he was very helpful. He was thorough in his explanations, and very helpful! I would recommend All American Chimney Service and Kevin to anyone with chimney needs.

I have been waiting over a month for installation. Still waiting, January 23,2021.

Disclaimer: I didnt end up using their services.I called to get a quote on chimney repair. The guy who came out was really nice. He did some inspecting, but never got on the roof.I ended up going with a competitor because the competitors quote was slightly lower, and the competitor got on the roof and showed me pictures/video of what needed repair.The quote this company provided was via email, but they also signed me up to their mailing list as well, which Im not a fan of.

Levi and Kevin came to my home today to clean my fireplace that hadnt been used in 9 years. They inspected inside and out before beginning any work. They were upfront about the condition of my fireplace. Though the news was bleak, they did their best to talk me through my different options honestly. I appreciated their helpful demeanor and despite not having any actual work done, I would recommend them on the basis that they gave me advice that was tailored to me and didnt do and charge for unneeded work.

I highly recommend All American Chimney Service. The receptionist was very helpful and followed through by calling to remind me of my appointment. The technician, Levi, was knowledgeable and not only answered all my questions on my gas fireplace, but also gave me additional tips and information. I was quoted a price before the appointment, but because my inspection was a easy and quick one, Levi discounted my price. This was a good business gesture. I will definitely call them again for any future fireplace needs.

They came out and did a full inspection AND cleaning of our fireplace, to include using a camera! Josh was very professional, informative, accurate, and timely with his detailed report and analysis of our current fireplace.
