WOW! We hired Russ to change out our old IKEA cabinet fronts in our kitchen, assemble a new cabinet and install and secure living room cabinets. He did an incredible job, you won’t be disappointed. He answered my quote inquiry on a Sunday and his rates are very reasonable. I asked him to call me so we could speak and he did so right away. We got on schedule, he communicated clearly what his job was and what we needed to do to get ready. He arrived on time, prepared and ready to work. He wore a mask, covered everything up nicely and got to work. He cleaned up afterwards and was truly such a delightful young man. He had great suggestions for options when we ran into issues and everything is perfect. His work quality is exemplary and I have no regrets other than not doing it sooner.

Russ did an amazing job with our kitchen cabinets. He assembled, installed, and put finishing touches on our Ikea cabinet boxes with Semihandmade doors. He knows these products like the back of his hand. He is a perfectionist with an eye for detail. He sets a work schedule and sticks to it. At the end of each day he organizes and cleans up. He is clean, organized, and very considerate, to minimize disruption to the household while he works. At job conclusion, Russ even taught me how to adjust the cabinet hinges so that I can keep everything fine tuned myself. Russ and Royal were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone requiring cabinet installation services.

My experience in a nutshell: over promise, underdeliver. Had to finish the install myself and fix his mistakes along the way.I was remodeling my entire unit and hired Russell to install the IKEA cabinets in my small kitchen. Things started great, Russell was kind enough to waive the design fee because I had the basics planned out already. Installation was another story - there were constant delays from day one, and many issues that I had to fix myself because he wont show up... Misalignments, missing trim pieces, didnt even have enough clearance for my standard 30 stove, and the two cabinets were different height LOL.I took pics of everything, ended up finishing the installation myself, but only got a refund on handles and toekick.Why take a job that you cant finish? The kitchen installation delayed my entire remodeling schedule, the poor craftsmanship along with the constant excuses was a big turn off too, I do freelance design work and wouldnt treat any of my clients this way.Responding to Russells reply:I simply wrote everything about my experience, Im sure there are happy customers but my experience was objectively bad.- You couldve said no and Id move on to other installers, once you accept its excepted to be done on schedule... Why should I even have to explain this?- Youre correct that the 1st day things were not ready, so we lost a day there. But you also said youll still be able to finish everything on that Saturday, Sep 12th. (See screenshot below). The job wasnt even finished on the following Saturday.- Yes my walls are far from perfect and I didnt point out a single issue related to that. The problem was not enough clearance for the stove, and those 2 cabinets rails are of different height, these have nothing to do with uneven wall surfaces just simple measurement error, and not double checking after installation.- You DID NOT install my upper cabinets according to my specs. Everything was supposed to be 80 tall, I only asked to have the tall cabinet to be 90 (see screenshot below). But for some reasons you did everything to 90 so I had to ask you to lower them. The larger spacing for range hood was also in my original design that I sent (see screenshot below), but you made the decision on your own to move them closer. All these mistakes and extra work couldve been avoided had you paid attention or double checked with me before doing them.- I didnt mention your GFs hospitalization because its irrelevant, that happened ONE WEEK (Sep 19th) after the job was supposed to be done, which means for one entire week I kept asking you to come over and finish but time after time you did not kept your word. I was genuinely concerned for her condition, which is why I asked for refunds on things that you havent done and will finish everything myself.I could post more screenshots of our conversation to show how many times you failed to show up when you said you would, but honestly Im just here leaving an honest review of my experience, the fact that I have to come back and provide screenshots to prove them is pretty sad.I met all my duties as a customer - paid you on time, told my contractors to not come when youre here, and paid you in full on the day that you said everything would be finished out of trust. Sadly the same cannot be said about the services I received, and thats the end of the story.
