It was such an amazing experience coming to Silver Lake Tint. Edwin, the owner, went over the top to provide an amazing service. He ultimately cares about making his customers happy and it really shows. Edwin is patient and humble and showed me all the different tints that were available in the Expel XR Prime plus line. He was patient enough and really cared that I made the right choice that he even quickly installed a small piece on my window for me to be sure. I arrived around 7 am and picked up my car 12 hours later (that’s how long he took on my car). You can really tell he takes his time and has such amazing attention to detail. He doesn’t rush his work. When I arrived, I found him detailing my car’s exterior which was totally unexpected but completely welcomed. My car looked beautiful! I can’t describe how thankful I am to have chosen Edwin to tint my new Tesla Model S refresh! Silver Lake Tint took my car to a whole new level. Before them it looked like a rental. The tint job is impeccable. I got 5% on the sides and 50% on the front. The car is so much cooler now. They warned me of bubbles right after it was done that would go away in a couple days. I kept the windows up for 3 days and sure enough the bubbles disappeared. Even though it wasnt that many. I wouldnt say this is the cheapest price because I got all ceramic but it is 100% worth it. They took the time to explain the different films and quality. Ceramic matched what I was looking for. I dont mind paying for quality. Besides how often are you going to tint your car? Do it right the first time with quality technicians like Silver Lake Tint. Also, I dropped my car off in the afternoon and picked it up later in the evening. They were very sweet, professional, informative, and patient with me. I definitely recommend Silver Lake tint.

Did a little research on Xpel PPF and Silverlake Tint came up as an authorized installer. Drove down and met with Edwin and he is a great guy. Took the time to explain the different types of PPF, pros and cons with the different films, and complexities and challenges on my particular car so that I understood what I was asking for and what I would be getting. Price was pretty reasonable for the work I wanted done. The end product was very nice and just what I expected. I would definitely recommend Edwin and his shop!

I needed to have a clear bra applied to the front end of my Lexus IS so I brought it to SLT. Edwin provides quality and timely service. The front end looks good and is protected again. My car was also very clean when I picked it up! I would recommend SLT.

This is the second car in 4 years that Ive had Edwin tint and he did not disappoint. He came to my apartment, since I work from home, and he did all of the tinting in my parking garage while I was upstairs comfortably in my apartment working. I have a 2019 VW Jetta SEL Premium and the job took 5 hours. This is exactly what he had quoted me. He also wiped the car down and treated it as if it was his. Ive researched what good and bad tinting is and he always does expert work. Note all the 5 star reviews he has on these pages. My car looks so much cooler now.

I went in for tint removal of two rear door windows. Edwin was awesome. The job was done in 30 minutes, as promised, and my windows look great.

Excellent workmanship and quality film. SINGLE piece on my Tesla Model 3s rear roof!I waited a few weeks before writing this review because I wanted to make sure the installation was satisfactory. When I picked up my car, I was a bit nervous because I could see little bubbles in the film. And the rear window/roof where the antenna lines are, I could see that the film wasnt tightly fitting against them. Edwin assured me that these will go away in a few days.Fast forward a month, all the bubbles are GONE. And the rear window looks great. The film really tightened up after drying up. Im very pleased with the installation.Silver Lake Tint (Edwin) didnt rip me off either just because I had a Tesla! Ive recommended a friend and cousin to this shop.

Edwin is the best. I brought my car to his shop in the morning to get UV and UV blocking film applied. He helped me select the film treatment and tint levels for all windows and windshield (all legal levels). Edwin applied the film expertly, then walked me carefully through the warranty and care instructions. He even washed my car and wheels. Edwin cared for my car as if it were his own and took great pride in attention to detail. Highly recommend this tint shop!

For many years Ive been coming and going here all of our cars have been brought in in this shop its one of the best there arent any wrinkles or anything like that on the tints same goes with any spots u wont see any because they do a very very good job, their customer service is number one all of the workers are very nice and all of them get the job done. They just did the windows on my 2005 Mustang. I have not seen ANYONE take that much care in what they were doing in forever!! After I watched them work and check and double check, and tripple check to make everything was perfect I knew there was no point in doing anything but to stand back and marvel over what a great job they did. Edwin helped me with tint choice for the back and gave me a safe option for the pass/drv windows which I will be doing next week. I even paid him a little more just because when they were done my car was totally wiped down bumper to bumper.Silverlake Tint cares about the work that they do.

The shop is located on the side of the car wash next door. Its a small shop but very thorough and professional. They can fully explain los angeles tint laws. My car was dropped at the appointment time and finished sooner. Very good work and quality tint.
