I came here twice. The first time to try it out and the second, purely out of convenience - and I regretted it. The staff is very nice, but the experience was far less. The same gal did my nails both times, and both times they were awful. My cuticles were shredded, I was bleeding, the nails were incredibly uneven with clumps of glue underneath (gel extensions). She filed the gel extensions unevenly and I kindly kept asking her to make adjustments to which she obliged. The work station was so dirty that hair and filings kept getting stuck in the nail paint and she’d have to wipe it off and re paint the nail. As I mentioned, the staff is kind but skill was lacking when it came to care and cleanliness. The photos are a small token of what the overall experience felt like - and at a heavier price than It was worth. I will say, I have had a pedicure done by a different employee and my toes looked great. However, I was charged for spa treatment and I certainly wouldn’t say running a sponge across my foot twice is worth the extra dollars.

I gave them 2 stars for for allowing me to walk in. The nail technicians seemed friendly, but their quality of work was not good. I asked for square shape and did my best to give direction, but some of my nails look like they weren’t shaped at all. I have tenderness and cuts in the cuticle area of most fingers. After providing a clear explanation of what I wanted and continuously providing feedback after the shaping of each nail, I am not satisfied. I appreciate the prompt service, but not the painting nor shaping of nails.

Just got a gel pedi & mani and had a great, amazing experience! I haven’t gone to the nail shop in over a year and felt like I was shedding OFF 2020! LOL! I recommend everyone to do the same.Kathy did my feet and exfoliated & massaged them so well!!! I’ll for sure request her again. Also, they do NAIL ART if your looking for that type of service. I didn’t get it done this time, but will get it done next time.You do need to make an appointment, yet I’m sure if they’re not busy maybe you can walk in. Call ahead to make sure. Vivian did my hands and also did an amazing job!They have massage chairs. They use fresh tools opened up in front of you and the tubs are layer in plastic which I believe is super important! I felt very comfortable being in there.Make sure to bring cash. They have an ATM there if needed.I live in downtown, so I’m able to walk there. However, there’s parking across the street for those who need to drive. I will definitely return and enjoy their services again.I feel amazing and appreciate the customer service and quality of service I received. Thank you!

Shoutout to Ann!!! I’m a flight attendant and can’t always go to the same place. I previously got them done in Tampa and they were lumpy and AWFUL. Ann fixed the shape, lumps and lifting. Got it looking like a new set!

This is a small yet very efficient nail spot. The techs are very friendly and accommodating. I only rated them a 4 because the nail lady I was given didnt speak English which made it hard to explain what I wanted or needed her to do. I had to ask her colleague to translate and thats time consuming. But other than that, I love their work so far after 4 visits and Ive brought at least 3 different girlfriends with me and they were pleased as well. Parking is $5 across the street and thats the downside other than the distance from where I live. They are good and can pretty much do anything you want but their prices are about $5-10 higher than what Im used to paying but as the saying goes...you get what you pay for. This color is poppin!

Ann was absolutely amazing. I went in last minute and came in with terribly done nails and Ann worked so hard to help me out. She was very sincere, detail oriented, and professional. She made sure that my old nails wouldn’t cause me problems in the future, and helped me understand what was wrong with my original nails. If only I lived in California, I would be a regular. Did Gel-X extensions and a pedicure, the lady wanted to rip my old nails off with force, I had to tell her to stop, it was a painful and stressful experience. One of the nails are applied on in a weird position and the set only lasted for 4 days before falling off. I can usually wear them 3 weeks before needing a replacement. It was expensive too and they push to add services to your bill. I was charged $2 for the disponible mask I got on top of the $155 bill. My nails hurt and look homemade, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else!

Went here for the first time yesterday and I’m so glad I did! Ann slayed my acrylic nails ! And my pedicure by Tina was lovely (she really exfoliated my feet which isn’t always the case with pedicures)I am thrilled I found this little hole in the wall nail spot with great prices and great nail techs. My search is over 🙌

If I could have gave 0 stars I would! They quoted me $50 for full set acrylic toes nails but charged me $97 at the end. They put tips on one side of my toes and not the others although i told them I wanted tips. My toe nails were lumpy, uneven and round instead of square. They did not do a pedicure or anything special to make them charge that much. She did 4 layers of gel polish and 3 layers of clear. On top of it she used a drill bit instead of a sanding bit to prep my nails. Worst place I have ever been to! Lord they had so many flies in there too. This place was garbage. Save your money and go somewhere that would be worth paying 97!

I paid 75$ for my pedicure (gel), I wish I asked before hand I paid 55$ in Beverly hillls for a package. This place doesn’t even have massage chairs or look fancy inside to charge these insane prices. I wish I asked before hand. & that same day I got home 1 hour later my nail color gel on one toe wasn’t there when I looked at my feet. It peeled off… I was upset but it’s okay easy fix right… next day I go to another salon & she tells me my toes are not even. Now it’s 2 days later & my pinky toe is uncolored and another nail is half missing color. I wouldn’t of mind paying 75$ if Atleast my nail was even or my nail was color lasted longer than Atleast a week. Makes no sense why I was charge so much of the nail polishes being used are cheap.. I’m so upset I paid so much, now I have to go fix two more nails and it’s just about to be a week.Edit update: They offered to fix my nails that peeled off. Appreciate that. I did not get offered the price before hand but I also could of asked. Not my point I don’t mind paying the price if it were to last.

Went in the shop for a gel fill, one of my nails broke the same day and I called to let her know exactly when it happened and asked if I could come back to get it fixed. She told me I could come the next day after work. I went back the next day and she charged me $10 to fix it. My nails haven’t been done a week and my gel polish is chipping which that never happens where I’m from. That’s poor quality and an owner who obviously doesn’t stand behind her work. I will not be revisiting this shop.

I was very happy with the way my acrylics turned out! They had some of the best detail I have seen from any salon around here I wish I would have taken a picture. the only reason for the 4 star is the wait was about an hour longer than they thought a head of time so I guess I would say to call ahead and reserve a time!

OMG, This pandemic is extremely difficult for everyone. But I google Nail Shops near me. This is the only one open close by. I get extremely, extremely, extremely over charged, and had to pick my colors I leave to the professionals. Then I show an idea of my nails not happy. Then the Nail Tech knows shes over charging, and lowers the price by $12. I need things to get better soon.I Pray it will.

I went on Friday for a change of polish, the lady urged me to do a full mani in order to get a “better finishing”, I had a natural mani 2 days before I didn’t had any cuticular excess .... I ended up accepting the full maní that lasted 1 day, by Saturday my thumb was peeling from a corner. Today, Monday my hands are a complete mess.35 dollars to the trash... also she was mad at me for a 5 dollar tip

After waiting for over an hour when they specifically told me a time to come to the nail bar....I paid 61 dollars for a design that wasn’t done properly. The shape not to standard and after 3 hours the polish on one of my nails has already chipped. A customer walked out because there was no running water for the foot spas. This place should be shut down.I will never go to this place ever again and I suggest you don’t either.

I really liked this place. I think Wendy was very sweet and did a great job. They also have both iphone or samsung chargers to charge your phone at your table while getting your nails done. You get a small bottle og water as well. I thought of everything you might want while getting your nails done. They like tips in cash and even have a venmo way to pay.Its easy to pass but in a good location downtown. Really affordable and great quality. Definitely only place Ill go downtown.The only thing I might have liked was a little music or tv. It was really quiet in there. But its not a big deal.

The manager is super rude. The girls do great work. But hes horrible. Charged me $175 for a fill, a full set and a pedicure. Outrageous. The file told me the fill was $15. No way a pedicure and a full set are $80 each.Reply: I didn’t have any broken nails. It’s was a simple fill. When I asked the nail tech how much for the fill she said 15. That sounds nothing like $45. I asked for a receipt and the manager refused. I had to go to work and didn’t have time to argue with you. I just won’t be returning for services with you guys.

I took a friend with me for the first time, it was very clean and sanitary. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They were fast efficient did a wonderful job on our nails and eyebrows.when it was time to pay, it wasa lil bit on the pricey side. But both of us were satisfied and hats all that mattered.

I really was not impressed with this salon at all. I was visiting LA for a vacation and decided to get a pedicure. I called ahead and made an appointment and thought I would be all set. When I arrived at my appointment time, I then had to wait 15 minutes to even get a chair. Upon getting set up in the chair, it was another 10 minutes before someone was able to start my pedicure. And the salon wasnt even busy! The nail tech I had didnt talk to me at all and cut my toes in 4 spots. I asked her NOT to dig out an ingrown toenail that I have because it doesnt hurt when I leave it alone. And she started digging it out anyways. The place does get 2 stars because the Polish was good quality and she did a good job painting my nails and the salon was clean.I was hoping this salon would be good since its within walking distance of the hotel I often stay at. But I definitely will not be coming back to this salon.

I was a walk-in. They were quick and attentive and I was able to make my appointment. 😁I must say that they are more expensive than other nail shops and expect generous tips in addition to charging so much. Not much room for that though. But suit yourself .

Unprofessional. I called to make a 530 appointment they assured I wouldn’t wait. I get there and they let TWO people in front of me and then kept saying they were almost done. Left after 30 minutes. Will NEVER be going back there again. Not so hard to be honest and say it will take awhile. I don’t care to wait I care to be lied to. Don’t go here unless u want your time wasted.

This is a real solid nail place downtown. I recommend calling ahead to make sure they have availability, but this place is real good. The gel manicures legitimately last 2 weeks and theyre very upfront about that if they dont you should come back to get it re done at no charge. Its clean, and efficient. Not the type of place where you have to wait till your toes are done to get your nails done, theyll do them at the same time! Highly recommend!

Brand new nail salon convenient to anyone living in South Park and the Historical District. Also +1 for being one of the few shops open on Sunday. I received one of the best pedicures Ive ever had from here (seriously the polish is immaculate) with quick, non pushy service and friendly conversation. I walked in, and the staff were all very nice. Leaving with a glue the entire length of my thumb was not. My fingers ended up glued to the underside of my nails. They only take cash, but don’t tell you until after your session. Over all, over priced

Ever since Ive been getting my nails done on the past 4 years, Ive only visited one nail salon only. I visit L.A a lot a lot so I thought Id try a trendy nail salon, and I love it. The Salon it self is cute, basic, straight to the point. And there is little-to-no small talk and NO horrible background music so I really enjoy this place for fast, clean service unlike other salons and their hoop-la, time consuming nonsense they try force upon you. Will be visiting again!

Sarah is great! Made an appointment today and I chose the design I wanted for my nails and she did a wonderful job! I could stare at my nails all day! I went to go eat afterwards and I already received compliments on my nails :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. We walked to this location after seeing the good reviews. We needed 2 manicures and 2 full sets. They told us they could only take 1 of us because they were booked. We looked around and there were 2 techs sitting down bored on their phones and only 1 other person being serviced. We said they didn’t look booked and he said they had appointments coming. We’ll take our money and 20% tip else where.

Very unprofessional Phone number hours straight to voicemail. The guy told me that he would call me back to let me know when I could come back in for an appointment. There wa Sakai unoccupied workers that he said were “busy” they was at 5o clock they don’t close until 7 o’clock. Did not feel welcomed.

I got acrylics over my nails that broke and had the lady leave my natural ones alone, she filed them way too short so now the ones on my right hand are shorter than the ones on the left. The nail polish was rushed and didn’t even coat my whole nail if I didn’t ask her to do a third coat of nail polish. When they finished they didn’t even bother moisturizing my cuticles

Im 36 years old. Ive had dozens, if not hundreds of Mani pedis in my life. Typically, Im there to relax and enjoy OR get my service done quickly because Im way overdue with no time but, desperate to not have jagged broken unkempt nails. This place was fantastic. Quick, thorough and attention to detail mani pedi in 45 min flat. Im here for work, but I might find reasons to come back just to get my nails and feet done. Highly recommend this place!! I meant to get cards for the women that did my nails, but forgot on the way out...as far as I can tell its just a great place no matter who actually does the work. FYI I almost never write positive or negative reviews, but Nail Bar in LA downtown deserves a shout-out!!!

I have been going to this nail salon for 2 months. I was so excited because they do the SNS dip. My first 4 appointments with them were great although I did notice that my dip was cracking I never complained. Last week my nails broke 1 by 1. 5 total nails. Because I’m going out of town I decided to call and ask them to fix them. they re did the entire set free of charge even though I offered to pay them full price. Shortly after leaving I received a message from them that said the following“sorry to tell you, i redone all your nail free today and it is last time we services you. next time you can go somewhere else do ur nail because i have been doing nail more than 10 years that i can tell people break their nail or not, only the gel color can be chips off by itself, but not powder. when powder and nails break means it had been impact hard enought for broken. but you are saying powder broke itself and cause ur nails broke then sorry we are not meet ur expectation. we redo ur all nails free today as our apology and thank you for your time and support.”After Offering to pay full price for a service I was shocked I received this message. Why didn’t they just charge me? I feel this is horrible business practices and no customer loyalty! The manager of this location should not be a manager, he has no customer service! I don’t care that you did them for free, I offered to pay you! This salon is dirty and disgusting anyway, and I went there out of convenience, the fact that they had the dip powder and because they were so friendly and fast. I think the manager of this location should be fired. This is very unprofessional no matter how nicely he phrased the text to me. He’s a coward!FALSE ADVERTISING - THE FIRST PICTURE ON THIS GOOGLE LISTING LOOKS NOTHING like the salon! It’s not even close
