Cute place, very friendly staff, but they do not use quality product. I got dip powder on a Saturday and it was chipping by Tuesday. I have been getting dip powder for years and have never had it chip this quickly (or chip at all). Usually I can go 3+ weeks on dip. This place is nice and has the potential to be good, but they need to invest in better quality product for sure

The woman that did my fill was incredibly rude to me. She was adamant throughout the entire process that I needed to get gel polish when I requested normal polish. I was instructed to pay prior to her finishing the fill which seemed appropriate since my nails would be wet when we finished. I went to pay and they tried to upcharge for filing the nails down to a shorter length as well as several other things that weren’t listed as a charge on their website or when discussing what I would like to have done resulting in them doubling the price I had anticipated. After I had paid for the fill and tip, I went back to have my nails painted. Although I had intended to use multiple nail colors, she informed me that wasn’t an option since it was an additional charge (I had brought the colors over at the beginning and was clearly intending to use them) which I would have paid for had she included in the bill I had just paid for. At this point the woman was incredibly rude to me and as soon as she finished applying the top coat she shoved my car key into my hand and requested I leave. I was not allowed to wait for my nails to dry at all prior to being forced to leave. This behavior was upsetting to me considering I had already left her a generous tip. I had been using this nail salon for over a year and had always thought highly of the quality of work and the treatment from the staff. I will not be using this salon any longer and would never recommend them after the poor treatment from their staff. My nails are all different lengths and one of my nails broke in half only a couple of days after the fill which has further disappointed me with the overall experience. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

I received a very good pedicure and my girlfriend was very pleased with her manicure. The service was excellent. We didnt have appointments but they were able to squeeze us in even though they were quite busy. Would definitely go here again.

This places was clean, cute, and spacious. But the best part was seeing THE BEST nail tech Mimi🤩 she is so talented it’s outrageous! She’s new to this location but she’s been doing my nails for quite some time now from her previous place but I could not stand to lose her! She has such a positive attitude and loves what she does which is exactly what you need in a nail tech... definitely check out this spot and request Mimi!

I would find a better place to go. The nail techs are pretty talented, but if youre looking for a good customer experience Id go elsewhere. The manager Sue on multiple occasions comes off snide, and downright rude. Ive been supporting her business for months (even during the pandemic), coming in regularly but the energy I get from her is very negative. I do not want to continue supporting her business. On one occasion she had the front desk call me minutes before I arrived for my appointment to see if I could reschedule to an hour later, literally minutes before my appointment. The way they conduct business is very unprofessional and not a good experience, Id suggest her and the management to take some customer service training courses.

I was looking for a salon that is a little closer to where Im going to work and convinced my best friend we should try this place out. Their instagram page was cute, so was the salon, and it looked like they did dip powder which is what I always get twice a month. My friend and I have been twice and unfortunatley wont be returning. Though my first appointment was okay I did a bit of research reading reviews and asked for specific people during my second appointment for my friend and I, my friend got someone good but unfortunately since I needed an extension I got someone random, Daniel I believe and it was a Disaster. I wanted very little length and a natural square shape and I ended up with really bulky nails that were wider than my actual nail bed and a gap between my nail and the extension that I could see. I called day of which was a Sunday and spoke to a man who was helpful but told me I could only get Mimi, the person I wanted, on Wednesday, so I canceled a redo I was planning for on Tuesday since she wasnt going to be there and decided Mimi might be worth waiting for on Wednesday. Unfortunately I was running late since I had to Uber like 30 min and boy do I wish I was a no show. Sue, the manager calls me at 10:32, my appointment is at 10:30, and asks if Im still coming, and I apologize for running late and tell her I will be there in less than 10 min. Im in her shop at 10:40, 10 min late and she looks at my nails, makes excuses for how they look, basically blaming it on me and a language barrier with Daniel, and tries to have him redo my nails! I told her I booked with Mimi and waited for her all these days and she told me since I was so late she took a walk in, who I later find out, was so happy with the job mimi did on her nails I was disappointed that Sue took an opportunity to make 50 something dollars off a walk in rather than keep my appointment since I told her Im coming Im just a bit late, but of course she doesnt value my appointment since its a redo and Im not paying. Im sure this walk in was standing in front of her when she called me and she didnt tell me she was reassigning me just hoped I wouldnt care? I told her I want mimi and she goes well you were so late I called you at 10:40, I told her I was here at 10:40 and she brushes it off and is like well it doesnt matter mimi is with someone else but you can wait 15 min for her, I didnt have the time since it was now 10:50 so Sue gets a different man to start my nails and he was so rude yanking around my hand and when it looked like he was done I showed him a space that had no color since he buffed it while trying to reshape, he tries to get me to leave like that by saying he will have to dip my whole finger to fix it and it will be thick, when I told him just put powder in the corner he snaps at me and goes do you want it fixed? say yes or no I told him I guess yes..... while this rude man is treating me this way I hear a girl expressing to sue that Daniel didnt do a great job on her mani, pedi, or both, again she tries to blame the customers issues on something other than Daniel and was saying her nail must have been broken to be so crooked blah blah blah, unfortunately that girl is going with botched nails on a vacation and was unable to get them fixed. Im finally done with my rude technician and Sue didnt have anything to say, didnt check on my nails, ask if I was now happy, NOTHING, I stood there for a second while she pretended to be busy and avoided eye contact, so I just left. I dont know what Sues issue was with me I sat by the front desk so I saw her communicating with other customers and it was like night and day, I personally think its a race issue (im black) but theres nothing I can do about that so my friend and I are going back to our old nail place that is a little far but worth the drive.

I miss the nail salon that l used to visit in San Francisco. I selected this place because it looked clean. They were extremely professional, l wanted a specific design on my nails, it was a little bit pricey. Overall the service was good, very clean l felt safe, so l will try them again.

I came here for the first time last weekend as a walk-in. I got a gel fill + a pedicure.Guest Service:The front desk people were engaging and had control of the flow! Since I was a walk-in, there was a 20 minute, not their fault. Tin did my toes and Becky did my fill. I liked them both because they were efficient with their time (fast, which I love) but also did a great job. Becky shapes the nail exactly how you want it and are all even. Amazing!!!Ambiance:The inside of this salon caught my eye right off the bat because 1. Its clean and 2. Its modern. And 3. The massage chairs arent beat up. In fact, they are very comfortable.Pricing:Gel fill - 50$Pedicure, French tip - 30$Total cost - 90$ including tipThe only downside is that I saw a few people with champagne glasses and sadly I wasnt offered any. I guess I couldve just asked but from a customer service standpoint, it would be nice for the staff to ask the customer if they want water or better yet a glass of bubbly. :) This was the only reason I didnt give this place a five star. Nonetheless, I will be back!!!

This salon is my favorite salon!! Their staff is amazingly friendly. I never had a bad experience and always leave happy whenever I’m in town. They always take their time to make sure that my nails are perfect. They also have a huge selection of colors for not only regular and gel but dip powder as well!! You will not be disappointed.

Loved this place! I came here to have my nails done for my wedding and they were very patient giving me exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. They did a gel ombre with glitter and rhinestones (see photo). It lasted for 2 weeks before it peeled a little but I waited until week 3 to have them removed because they still looked pretty good. My normal pedicure lasted 3 weeks before chipping. Looking forward to returning!!

Color Coat has many 5 star ratings for a reason. I am now a regular customer. I recently moved to Los Angeles and had my nails initially done at another salon. They were sloppy and not great customer service. I discovered color coat on google and saw many 5 stars. Tin does my nails and for lack of better words his work is impeccable. His attention to detail and professionalism is 💅🏻. Also you’ll be greeted with a smile which makes all the difference. I will always get my mani pedi here. So glad Found it! ❤️

I really wanted to love this place. Remodeled and bright, nice staff. Bummer that I was at the salon for 2.5 hours for a powered mani and reg pedi. They didnt have enough people to work on me at the same time so it doubled my times spent at the salon. My appointment was at 3:30pm and Im writing this review at Im still sitting in the chair. (Also note that I didnt get the normal hand massage that usually comes with manicures).I think maybe they need to manage their bookings better and encourage the staff to pick up the pace a tad while still maintaining quality work (very happy with the results).Likely wont come back :(
