Thank you to the people to this location and specially to the people processing the passports they were friendly and super helpful and made the process smooth and easy, was hesitant because of the reviews but Im glad I went here, and also the clerk on the regular window for mail she was nice too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This place needs to be under investigation. Too many packages are going “missing” or waiting to be “processed”. I’ve been waiting on my package 10 days and I needed my package. I call and they say it’s never left the processing center. It may be stolen. That’s messed up. Absolutely no help, no sympathy nothing. It’s honestly ridiculous. If you don’t like the job. Quit. But to be rude and unprofessional to a customer when the problem isn’t their fault is just ridiculous.
A mailman who does a route in my area but not on my street he fills in for the regular mailman and one day I had mail in my box for return I watched the same guy leave the mail in my box and when I said something to him about it he went off talking trash. Now the guy watches me and talk to people in the neighborhood about me and my mail is being open and sent back often. No one else has access to my mail except the post office and when you call to get help there is none just attitudes and run around.. This has been for a few years know. Also I have informed delivery and I’m not getting the mail that shows I’m supposed to receive. SAD
My package has been here for days now. Its a bubble mailer containing an expensive item which I dont want to lose. Why does usps hire people who dont do their job correctly? Ive noticed how most usps places have bad reviews and thats because these workers are bad at their job. Its not that the customers are impatient, its because these workers make us wait a line only to not have our package or give us bad attitude for asking questions. Sometimes you ask them to look for your package and they just go to the back for 30+ mintues and come back with nothing. This has happened to me at different locations!
I’ve sent thousands of packages with USPS for two years now, and I rarely encountered any issues with them. I drop off my packages at a docking port in the distribution center, and the staff are very friendly. For the most part, usps does it’s job efficiently and fast.However, recently, I’ve been having issues with almost every package that I’ve dropped off. Almost every package has been returned to me for overdue postage, which is something that they never done before. When they return my packages, the mail man marks them as delivered, which means that I cannot get a refund for label. This has never happened to me before so I’m assuming that there’s new management at the facility.USPS shipping prices are simply just too high. I had to use fedex and ups to ship my orders because usps kept returning my packages. If this keeps up, usps will be losing my business soon.
I have a very large package sitting in this distribution center for 10 days so far. I mention large so its known that its not some little letter missed sitting on the floor, or a little package someone dropped and its been kicked in the corner. This is a large box (over 2 feet in dimension) that cannot be missed. Filed a search through usps.com and got the response theyll contact me when there is an update. I have USPS informed delivery, so I already am contacted when there is an update. How about LOOKING for my box? Los Angeles is laaarge, if you guys have such crummy workers that have somehow overlooked a 2 foot x 1 foot box for 10 days now, then fire them and hire competent workers!!
Came to get Passport service; no appointment. Service is really slow even when they didnt have any appointments present. They need at least another person assigned to get through clients, they were just being redirected to a different location. They have a self service kiosk, which is faster than waiting in line that extends all the way outside the door. 8 stalls to utilize for regular services and they only use 4 at most. Bureaucracy at its worst.
This review is for DISTRIBUTION CENTER. Awful service and delays!!! Our package was lost for over a month there. It was a very long tube so it would be hard to miss. There have been many complaints about this distribution center so why isn’t this being addressed? Our local post office kept on top of it for us. It was finally found and we got it after it sat there not moving. We also wonder about the tracking number system. It doesn’t seem to help much if your package is no where to be found.
My international package has arrived in the US for almost 2 months and I have not received it yet. The tracking status just keeps showing “Departed USPS Regional Facility” and not updated anymore since Apr 30. It’s okay to me that packages delay delivery during this hard time. But how can the system not show the accurate location of my package!And package sitting in LOS ANGELES CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER for 2 months is absolutely make no sense! Really hard to believe a developed country with such a poor postal system.

This post office is like every other post office!Terrible customer service, long lines, rude employees & ignorant customers.The goal is to just get there early as hell before the employees are irritated by other customers. Lol***passport- If you’re having your passport photo taken you’re better off going to Costco for $4. The quality is way better!
I came here for my New Passaport and got there at 8:44am. Once they opened I was out in about a hour& I didn’t have an appointment.They said only appointments but I still stayed because people who had appointments weren’t showing up so I stayed. (That was a bit confusing but I’m like screw it im staying I was the 3rd person in line anyways) The Passaport front desk guy sounded mean at first but was really sweet & understanding.Tip: Be early!! & if you have a money order the process will be faster.
As long as the USPS been in service they still cant get it right you have to love America..
Horrible service, I was working from home and had to stop doing what I was doing and go with my two kids because CHERYL was being awful to my mother was being rude kept sending her back with box and papers they should really consider having bilingual staff there. It is not ok to treat people less my mother was crying hurt how she was treated by this elderly lady who should maybe already retire if she’s not happy with her job. I will also report this because it’s not ok to treat anyone like this.

My priority package was suppose to arrive on May 22nd but here it is May 27th and my package is still sitting here!!! I haven’t gotten an update since May 23rd!!! I submitted a service request with my local post office and they told me they have been trying to reach this company by phone and email but they do not respond!! The last update for my SMALL package was on April 8th.. its April 15th now and there is no update as to where it is. I have called but no one knows where my package is apparently. This package was supposed to have been here a week ago but everyone is acting clueless.

This is a really horrible place with the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. It took me 1 hour and a half to pick up a package. It took about 35 minutes for somebody to show up to the pick up window, then I had to make another line to wait for the package!!!! Horrible!!!
Been watching my packages via the Shop app. One international package was due to arrive (to New England) over a week ago. However its been stuck at this distribution center for over TWO WEEKS! They did not deliver even though they stated my package was delivered. Had to make multiple calls and it was delivered a week later. The package I am currently waiting on was in Los Angeles distribution for Simi Valley. I was just sent an update saying it arrived in Santa Barbra. Only two hours out of the way. This is why our postal service is always operating in a deficit. Unbelievably inefficient. Almost as bad as the US government with inefficiencies and waste!
Package has been sitting in center for 9 days without update. It’s been now over 2 months since I ordered my package and haven’t received. USPS also screwed up my address which I provided correctly. But because of this, they weren’t able to deliver my package when it was in my county. I think if I don’t get an update in a week or my package in a month or less I smell a lawsuit.

My package arrived here on Feb 22nd. This facility is actually really close to where I live in LA... Tracking said it would arrive on the 22nd. Instead the tracking didnt change until 2 days later. It then stated that my package was sent to USPS Destination Facility CARSON, CA 90747 20 MILES in the WRONG direction. What that actual hell are these people doing? Is this why packages are delayed?

What you did with all packages from Aug 3 Monday.? None of them have been scanned them yet, same thing happened with the ones from July 28 they were sent to other cities without been scanned, employers can not done with the job at the end of the day and they just disappear packages😡also return packages for insufficient address or No access they are never delivered back to sender, what do you do with them.? My review is about the LA Distribution Center. I do a lot of priority and express shipping. For the past 2 years, no joke, 9 out of 10 packages are a day or 2 late. It’s insane. It always get stuck only at the LA distribution center. No where else. They need to fire all of their employees and start over. They obviously care nothing about their jobs. Never using usps again.
Just like everyone else here I’ve had a package that was supposed to arrive on Saturday yet is still showing in transit as of 05/24 but nothing as of today worried as everyone else here says nothing shows up outta this place. USPS get your stuff together and hire the right people to do the job these people are lacking especially during a time where they are essential to running the mail network of the US!
How or why is my parcel in San Francisco? I mailed it out of my hometown in S.California to Los Angeles with next day delivery. It arrived on time, but did NOT get delivered to the address in LA! It sat at the terminal for 2 days and was shipped off to San Francisco! At this point, I have no idea where my parcel actually is.I was told by USPS that Los Angeles USPS shipped it to San Francisco and they cant explain why. LOL Inspector General needs to be notified ASAP

I really love this post office. Quick & friendly workers. Cant believe theres people whove had a bad time here. I literally go the extra mile to get to this post office since the one by my house isnt big nor give me much service. Totally recommed this location!
Horrible place. The employees rip labels off of mail. I started going to the post office in Huntington Park and now my mail never comes back with ripped labels. When we confronted one of the employees at this office she had the nerve to treat us as if we did something wrong. Never going here again. Avoid this place if you are send a lot of mail!
I never write reviews but I was blown away by how quick and easy the process was to get my passport for the first time. You dont need an appointment, you can walk in and apply. The hours that they accept applications are from Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:00pm. I arrived at 2 p.m. and was out of there in 30 minutes. They can take your photos there too. The only thing is, they only take money orders (which you can buy there) or checks. I had to use 2 checks to pay as it was for separate payees. Highly recommend!!!!
My package arrived at the USPS Regional Facility L.A. Distribution Center on July 28th maybe 10 miles from me. As of August 4th 7 days later NOTHING! just says arriving late. What does this mean? What do they do with the package once its arrives, just sit on it. Horrible service!

Have been waiting over 10 days for my package. I go to track it and the last time it was scanned was at the “LOS ANGELES CA NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER”. Filed a claim through USPS, which surprisingly I received a call back and they told me that they would be emailing this center to see when the package is expected to move along. I understand the nation is going through a pandemic and some things may be delayed, but over 10 days for my package to be sitting at the same spot makes absolutely no sense at all.

The clerks who work the passport service are so rude. There is no organization. On the passport service window it says they close at 3:00pm but that’s not true. In my experience I came in at 2:00pm and the line was long and as I approached the line we were told the costumer in front of us was the last person they’ll be attending. 1. It says 3:00pm why would they play games and have people think they close at 3 when they don’t that makes people waste their time. They should put signs saying that if they get really full before 3pm that they will be closing before 3. 2. After the last person that was going to be attended they never put a sign saying they are closed so people just kept arriving getting in line because duh they know they close at 3 so that’s why ppl kept forming themselves. The customer service is so poor, full of attitude and unwelcoming vibes. This is the Central Main office in Los Angeles, the service here should be exceptional but it’s not! Never come here for passport stuff, go to the nicer areas!!!
The window employee let me know that she had no information about shipping boxes, which sizes were ordered or would be available because she did not order them. I was also told that I could go online and order the boxes. No name of another employee in charge of ordering supplies was provided, no extra effort was extended to help me with my request.
I would give this place a negative rating if I could. My husband and I have been trying to get our 3 packages from this post office for about 3 weeks now. We have been told to come back for our packages at least 4 different times now, and each time THEY REFUSE TO GIVE US OUR PACKAGES. They NOW want us to show proper documentation to prove that we live at our current residence. They have even went so far as to request to speak to OUR LANDLORD! Just give me my packages. I cant tell you how frustrating it is to have someone keep your mail from you. This entire negotiation has cost our family over a hundred dollars to ship back and forth from sender to this post office. Use ANY postal service BUT THIS ONE! Absolutely absurd! We still havent received our packages and Im not even sure were going to.Never again with this place!

I do not recommend this establishment at all. If you happen to live in the area, do yourself a favor and go to another location. The employees there have no etiquette. Id like to see what training program if any theyve for the employees. If you need to ship a package youre best off going through private carrier like UPS or FedEx.When you arrive inside the building youll notice there is very dim lighting. The place looks like if it needs a thorough cleaning. If you have the need to call in, all I can say is youre in for an experience. The people that answer sound mentally challanged, not because they are. Its more like they dont care about the work they do and how it affects others. Also be prepared to be interrupted in every sentence and be put on hold abruptly. The employees need to be re-trained or let go (I mean the ones at the desk and that answer the phones).

I mail packages to my grands once a month. I usually deal with the office closer to LAX. This was my first visit to this distribution center. Contrary to previous complaints, my experience with Cheryl was very pleasant. She was cordial and efficient. Parking was fine and my wait in line was minimal. I will return for future transactions. Perhaps the early time of day made a difference.
Love this post office nice friendly staff. Speedy service and lots of parking. I live around the corner from the post office on 83 and Vermont but I travel to this office because of the wonderful service and kind employees .

The postal service in LA is the worst I have ever seen. My package arrived at the LA distribution center 2 weeks ago. Then I get an alert today that it has arrived at the distribution center again. Somewhere someone is an idiot. This is what happens when we let uneducated people have jobs. No wonder USPS has lost 45 Billion dollars. Why hasnt anyone voted to dismantle this madness. Its always the same in this postal office, bunch of lazy and very rude people. They treat you as if theyre from the sheriff dept, they scream and they refuse to help you if they dont want to it, I hope someday they remove this horrible human beings from their post and replace them with someone with more energy to perform their job.
I accidentally dropped a small FedEx package in a blue USPS box (wasnt thinking that morning). It was a clothing return to Amazon. That night, it finally dawned on me of my mistake. I was sure that it would be discarded by USPS when they discovered the FedEx shipping label. BUT, they got it to FedEx and it was returned to Amazon for my credit. I was so appreciative of USPS for handling a package for another carrier! Of course, I will be more attentive for future returns, however, wanted to share that USPS, even in a city the size of LA, has lots of good people doing the right thing every day.
The clerk on window 1 on Saturdays, Rude, unprofessional, constantly disappearing from her window. always claiming that scanners or printers dont work. always refuses to scan packages, claiming shes not required to scan packages. and the list goes on and on. on one occasion, she said Go ahead, report me, trust me a simple report or write-up is not going to end my job.
