The pros- Gym equipment is good, and theres a huge selection- Open 24 hrs is greatThe cons- Parking in the structure is getting increasingly hard to find at any hour of the day. Note, sometimes the structure only lets gym patrons park on the first floor so theres a limited amount of spots.- The low price obviously attracts many people to sign up. The gym gets very packed, especially at peak hours.- Lots of people inside not wearing masks at all or not wearing them properly, and the employees dont say or do anything about it although theyre currently mandated in LA.- The sanitizing wipes, sprays and towels are always out! Specifically, the ones by the door that people would be using to enter and leave the gym.- The roof leaks at a bunch of spots in the second floor. They literally just have buckets catching the drips.I gave it two stars because of convenience of location, price and selection of equipment. But otherwise, could be much better.

Great place. All kinds of equipment for any kinds of workout especially for the price is it is. Convenient hours operations (24 hours) I tend to be away home for work and this is perfect for me to stay physically active no matter what time of the day. My only complaint as of now is that the men’s shower facilities needs to be monitored and cleaned more frequently. I have notice left over razors and soaps for a few days and also a-lot of hair on the floor near the drains. Kind of disgusting. I hope they could fix this problem. Overall a great place.

This place makes it hard to cancel the membership as I requested a cancellation on July 26, 2021. They told me I will be charged for August because of their 30 days notice policy which I understand but I will be charged again for the upcoming month (September) which doesnt make sense because its more than 30 days. Avoid this place if you dont want to get ripped off!

It’s extremely hot and humid inside the gym. There is absolutely zero ventilation and legit feels like a sauna everywhere. They have these industrial AC units on the floor but it does nothing to help. Absolutely unbearable especially during the summer

I would recommend that if you sign up for this gym read all the bad reviews and notice how they all say about the same thing. Save yourself the headache and trouble!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! All they care about is making money they dont care about you your goals or hardships!!!!

I just got a membership today with my mother, also got a tour of the place, it’s pretty big its two storys lots of equipment, super clean! very nice staff! kind of crowded tho. overall i say its nice definitely going to be coming here often!

Pretty good gym, but it gets filled up quickly! Also a creepy guy keeps calling me baby girl and gross. Also, the main floor, can get pretty stuffy, humid, and musty. So try going around 3 a.m. for a free gym haha, but it usually gets packed around 3p.m. so Im guessing before that would be the best time to come. Good luck.

!!!!Beware!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!!!! I got the basic member ship and the personal trainer!!! Even though I told the associate Rio that I was financially unstable because I was just starting a new job I was pressured into getting a personal trainer. I was informed of the one time annual fee of around $50 but was not informed that they were going to charge me again the next month another $50 it came as a surprise and I did not plan for an extra expense so my account went negative. Due to me starting a new job I got busy and was not able to go to the gym not even once and was still charged another $50 and $98 about 2 weeks after when I called to cancel they said I had a remaining balance of $60 to pay off on my account!! FROM WHAT I HAVE NOT BEEN TO YOUR GYM ONCE!!! When I tried emailing and calling its always them same “call back” “we’ll get back to you” “someone will be in touch” they will NOT try to work with you!!! posted 8/18/21Ps first it was balance and when I paid it off then it was personal trainer I’ve never hated a place so much edited 9/01/2P.p.s. I have been to 24 fitness, LA fitness and Planet fitness and by far EoS Fitness has given me a superior experience to what it means to work out at a gym. The room and surplus of machines is incredible. I wish I had found them sooner. The staff is incredibly passionate and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

One star off becuz dont try to change your plan. Ive been blown off since week 2, been going 6 weeks. signed up online. Im not trying cancel, theyve already got my annual fee. I just dont need the everything location plan, theyre too far, so Ive been asking to drop it since week 2! after reviewing the other comments I see billing/membership services assistance is not a thing.otherwise the equipment is great. better than Planet Fitness and LA Fitness downtown. Ive never had to wait for an elliptical. no matter how busy, theres always a machine I can use that I want to use for the day available. people seem focused on there fitness goals, much more motivating environment than PF.

Wanted to change my membership from the $20/mo membership to $10/mo to save money but it costs $50 to step down a tier. Decided it was better to cancel my membership which is free. Took 3 months to cancel which is apparently swift compared to other people who seem to never be able to cancel their membership. Management took weeks to respond to my request and would rather have me cancel than waive the $50 fee. Unbelievable lack of customer service at this place.

This is a good gym. The staff is friendly and the facility is comparable to the Sport version of other gyms. They keep things clean and have different creative workout rooms. It gets hot at the main room in the first floor during busy hours but the 2nd floor and the other free weight room is nice and cool. The pool is not open just yet.

Facility was nice when I signed up last year. Tried cancelling my membership on April and a representative said, yes you are all canceled Turns out I was never canceled and had to call ABC and they dont handle the memberships. Either way called up my bank and never got charged again. My family was planning on returning after the pandemic but now we are never coming back. I dont care for some automated response to this review.

It’s a shame that disabled people can only go there from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM because the GYM don’t have an elevator of their own.I used to go around 2 o’clock and asked someone at front desk to open the door for me on the second floor. It was uncomfortable to be explaining myself every day to a different employee about my disability and sometimes they looked at me surprised. On one occasion, the alarm system went off when I had to open the exit door on the second floor. Nobody is on the second floor to assist you with that, so I had to rush to get to the first floor in the elevator to let them know it was me. I was concerned that the fire department would get there but the manager told me that it was ok. Really?! Imagine doing this every day during the week. How can I enjoy my time there? So sad!

Management/maintenance has really let this great gym go. Missing/broken equipment has not been fixed for over 2 months. I remind them and they blame it on the maintenance department. A/C does not work, its extremely hot in the cardio rooms. So hot you wont be able to work out there. You see mask just laying on the floor, I have never seen anyone cleaning the gym. Sad to see such a great gym ruined so quick. Management really needs to get it together.

This is my new favorite gym. I was working out at another spot down the street but after interacting with the staff, especially Darwin, I decided to make the move to this gym full time. Darwin’s cheerful energy and positive attitude made my entire workout experience more enjoyable than other gyms. Overall the gym is very clean with lots of new equipment. Thankful this gym is so close to me, best gym experience ever.

Its not a bad gym…the reason for my rating is due some machines being “out of order”…dont know if they have started working on fixing them…also they need to fix the AC…but my main reason for this rating is the price…its cool that it is cheap…but with such a low price point…you can expect many people there and many machines still “out of order.” Seems to me that they just want to get an many people to sign up as they can…but the gym is not bad…would be more trustworthy if the price was around the mid-range area 40-70 dollars a month

I love it here!!! I got my membership before the pandemic started. I even had my kids in their kids daycare and my kids love it there. that they wish they could go back while I’m working out but for the time being it’s still closed. And now that the gym is open. I am super satisfied and happy still with the gym everybody’s great they’re starting with Mike Itzel and Darwin and Paul and also Brandon always been so helpful in anything and everything that I need always. oh and last but not least Terri she is the best only girl personal trainer there. if my schedule wouldn’t be so random, I would’ve still been there with her training. she is one beautiful wonderful chick. But everybody else that I’ve mentioned are also incredible always so patient and helpful just an amazing team.

Nice little gym. Location is small but they have better equipment like the tire throwing thing. Also has a cardio theater. Movies are posted on the schedule and you do your cardio while watching. Switched from LA fitness, so far i love it.

Pros - Tons of different equipment for multiple forms of training ranging from standard body building, crossfit, and powerlifting. Staff typically stays out of the way unless they need to remind you to wear a mask. Theres a room with treadmills that plays movies so you have some sort of entertainment just in case you forget your headphones. Never used it but the option is nice. Male locker room is actually clean. (I was told they clean them every 6-8 hours)Hit or Miss - The crowd. A lot of young and old bro groups with a few insta models here and there. Theyre probably not fond of me either so its not that big a deal. The trainers seem uninterested and often look under qualified to train anyone. I dont get training but I still get annoyed seeing female trainers with a R.B.F. when training an older client, or the male trainers expecting their client to be athlete level. Worst of all is when they make it abundantly clear they dont care if their client has horrible form. Doesnt personally effect me but still hard to watch.Cons - Parking, but its DTLA so to be expected. Its hotter than most gyms Ive been too. Weird since they have huge fans and AC units all over the gym. Just like every other commercial gym, damaged equipment takes forever to be repaired.

The price of what you get is great but it does come with cons when it comes to the staff communication. I moved out of state before the gym opened up and wanted to be vigilant about cancelling (Jan-Feb 2021) my account but of course they said because the gym wasn’t open they could not do it and my account would remain frozen. Fast forward to March 2021 I finally receive an email that they’re validating memberships. I take this as an opportunity to call and cancel my membership. I call on multiple occasion only to get many excuses as to why they can’t or they’re too busy. I finally call again in April 2021 to see if I can get ahold of someone to cancel my membership and finally I get someone to do it but again they’re too busy and take my info only to tell me they’ll call me back. A month had passed with no update and o just called today for them to tell me it was finally my being processed since April. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I also found I was being charged with no warning. One of the team members said that an email was sent alerting guest that charges would resume and I never once received that email. Only the validation of memberships. So to be charged for a gym I don’t have access to with no warning and lack of communication is extremely disappointing. Do not join this gym.

My mom and brother got a membership at this location right before the pandemic started. Of course they had to pause their membership after all the gyms were closed during the pandemic. Late last year, I called and cancelled the membership by calling their office. They specifically told me that it had been cancelled and that there was nothing else that I needed to do on my end.However, my mom just noticed on her credit card statements that theyve been charging her since March 2021 for membership. I am furious because theyre charging her for a service that she has not used! I had to call customer service directly to cancel her membership for the second time. I made sure to get an email confirmation.I understand that gyms are struggling during this difficult time but you should not be taking advantage of people like this.

Just love the place!! Modern and New!! All the equipment you need, a pool, a theater with cycling machines so you can watch the entire featured film while on your bike in a theater setting. Sauna and all that good stuff to. Shariff is an excellent personal trainer if you need some motivation and direction.

BEWARE!I joined this gym back in 2019 and referred a friend of mine as well. The deal was by me referring her, her enrollment fee would only be $1. They had me use my credit card for the $1 fee and assured me that I would not be charged for her membership. Well she never actually activated her membership and I was recently charged her membership and annual fee, on top of my own.I actually called last June after I lost my job to cancel her membership and to put mine on hold. Now no one answers the phone or responds to emails so I went in to request a refund in person a couple of weeks ago. They told me they have no record of me canceling her membership. However, I signed us up with two different email addresses (both mine) and hers never received an email about reopening and charges which leads me to believe they actually do have record of me canceling her membership but are charging me anyway.Never should have joined. Very disappointed because I wanted to support the gym and help a friend and it cost me.EDIT: Emailed the District Sales Manager as I was told to do three weeks ago. No response. In the meantime, they still havent cancelled my friends membership.UPDATE: He finally got back to me and took care of it to my satisfaction. I just wish it hadnt taken 3 1/2 months to get this done.

Staff told me my membership was frozen, but I still got charged and now get calls from their collection agency.Its quite clear from other reviews that EoS DTLA has a very serious problemEoS DTLA often feels like a scam.EoS DTLA botched the re-opening, after botching their first grand opening that was postponed to early 2020. Whats wrong with this place?I chose to pay extra to have access to the pool. At the time, before the pandemic, I was told that the pool would be open any day now. The pool is still not open but they are still charging people for the pool. They have a new excuse every time, usually blaming every other entity except themselves. This should be embarrassing to EoS staff.This is 100% ripping people off...charging for services that dont exist.Getting through to staff is nearly impossible. They dont have time for you.EoS DTLA is poorly run. There are better gyms.EoS DTLA does not enforce the current mask mandate. Even amongst their own staff!

Its a good gym and all but one of the main reasons I signed up was to use the pool. When I first signed up they said they were ready to open once the govenor gave them the go but when the govenor finally gave the go for the pools to reopen now a permit is pending. I dont get it shouldnt they have obtain a permit before building the pool. I now use the public pool for my swims which I have to pay per entry about $4. I am still waiting for the gym to get their permit situation fixed but wish they would have specified that there would be a permit pending to open the pool even after restrictions were lifted.

I signed up for personal training on 3/7/2021 for a 4 months agreement. I followed their rule and notified the cancellation of the training a month ahead of the end of the agreement. The management team promised it will be cancelled on 7/7/2021. But guess what, it’s never canceled. I have to call ABC but they just hang up my phone call. This is so disappointed.

It’s a nice gym however too small to fit 100+ people every reserved hour. No social distancing, too crowded.All the machines are always being used and little space to do your own workouts without machines. People don’t like complying with the yellow/blue dot rule.Employees never enforce these rules.

SCAM BEWARE. They wont let me cancel and Ive been trying to for MONTHS. First an email to canceling IN MARCH (it’s now end of May) and was unable to get anyone on the phone after MULTIPLE CALLS. No email support either. Finally got in touch with a rep in early May after many calls and emails. He told me I wouldn’t be charged again. Guess what? Just got another charged AGAIN for EOS. If you need a cheap gym that will steal your money right from under your feet, this is perfect for you!

Never went to the gym and never renewed my membership. Have everything in writing confirming my membership was canceled.It’s one year later and they keep emailing and texting me about being past due fees. Someone there activated my membership in March 2021 without my knowledge and after multiple calls and emails, there are no responses from EOS so the issue is not being resolved and the “past due” fees keep piling up. Super lame and unprofessional.

A SCAM. BEWAREThey get you to sign up with a crazy deal. They re-opened during the pandemic and charged my account with no warning. Ive called and called and called and they do not answer their phone. When they do, they say the personal trainer isnt there to cancel your stuff. They tell you to call ABC, ABC tells you to call EOS. They literally refuse to allow you to cancel and will steal your money. Michael Zeno the personal trainer lead will refuse to call you back. He will not return emails. I had to threaten them with a BBB claim to finally get something to happen but not after they stole my money. Avoid this gym at all costs. A total scam! Terrible business. Im still dealing with it

Since reopening (after closing during the height of covid) this gym is now so busy at all times that its basically unusable. Finding a single bench or machine is impossible. This was the case even before the official June 15th date for reopening California, when they were claiming to be open but at half capacity. They were never at half capacity, of course. They were filling the place up to the buildings capacity – i.e., fire code capacity, as in how many people you could pack in there if the place was a club – which has nothing to do with how many machines or weights they actually have in there.

This gym is possibly the worst gym I have ever joined !! EOS dtla is extremely crowed, they have signed up so many people but not enough equipment to meet the high demand . At the cost of you having a good work out . And of course parking is impossible to find a spot !!! I believe there’s only 60 spaces for hundreds of people going .. pathetic !!! I just canceled my membership this past Friday and never again will I joined this gym !!

PRO: With it being semi-post covid people are actually working out (and not on their cellphone taking up space). Theres enough machines, plus HIIT activities in the center of the gym.CON: you have to schedule a time to workout through an app. If you dont get a time slot that same day then try the next day.

Complete fraud!!I bought my membership before COVID after their active sales effort and I waited during COVID without cancelling to give them still a chance, but once they reopened, they changed!1. Nobody picks up the call2. Their voicemail inbox is full every single day. You cant even leave a voicemail.3. I sent emails to both managers. No one responds back!4. Completely and deliberate made the cancellation or freezing impossible. Its very vivid that they want your money without having to cancel.5. I got charged more than my membership fee. My wife and I recently purchased Gympass through my employer (would not recommend either) and this gym is listed as a gym that the pass will work on. We went to the front desk to check in and our Gympass app gave an error message so we told the representative this. He asked us to sit down in the lobby and wait for a representative to help us. We ended up waiting for approximately thirty minutes with his occasional apologies. During this time, he informed me that we were waiting to speak with the general manager. I have no idea why we would need to speak to a general manager to check in with our Gympass.During the thirty minutes that we waited, I observed a revolving door circus in the general mangers office. It appeared that anyone and everyone who worked there/was a member there waltzed into the managers office whenever they felt like to shoot the breeze. At any given time the office would have four or more people in there chatting. I could tell by the body language of those in the managers office that this continual line of people visiting their office were talking about nothing important whatsoever. Based upon the general managers priorities of random gossip with anyone and everyone over professionally running a business, this is the sign of all signs that you should not take your money here.Also, the front desk was staffed by four or more people this entire time who were all just joking around and standing there and what not. I have no idea why they needed so many people working the front desk and yet none of them appeared to be working or helping customers whatsoever beyond the occasional check-in. Other representatives would frequent the front desk often yet nobody (except for apparently the general manger) among this massive overstock of employees could simply help my wife and I check-in to work out there.In addition to these annoyances, the guy who had told us to wait at the front desk continually referred to my wife as my girlfriend even though I had repeatedly referred to her as my wife. The guy needs to learn to listen better as this is highly disrespectful and unprofessional.My wife and I eventually got a bit of an attitude with the guy at the front desk who had told us to wait and he then made up something on the spot, flipped around a touchpad, and asked us to fill in our information (phone number, address, and etc) and then we could just go into the facility. I have no idea why he didnt just lead with this half an hour earlier. We left at this point, sick of how we had been treated.Looking into the gym from the lobby, I could tell that it was packed and waits for machines would be a frequent reality. We were there at 3:30p.m. on a Tuesday. I could also tell the gym was packed with late teen/young twenty-somethings and tooons of gym bros. The average age of the employee there appeared to be about twenty years old. Also not good signs for a gym to give your money to.It is clear that this gym offers bottom-dollar membership prices for bottom-dollar service and bottom-dollar equipment availability. Unless you must scrape your pockets, a few dollars more for a gym elsewhere is what Id recommend.

EoS has a great facility, but its become painfully clear that its a poorly managed operation with terrible communication that prioritizes growth and new customers over the satisfaction of their current customers.Their lack of transparency during the opening phase is well-documented here, but like so many other reviewers, I signed up and had to wait almost six months before the gym opened, with constant delays and excuses from the team at EoS.I froze my membership during COVID, and when I started receiving emails about re-opening this spring, I promptly called to ensure my membership remained frozen. Two weeks later I was charged the annual and monthly dues, and called them between 15-20 TIMES, but did NOT receive a single response. Finally, I went into the gym, where they said the phones were so busy because new customers were trying to join. Again, this made it obvious to me that they dont care about their current customers.They couldnt refund me on the spot, and said I had to call back the next week to follow-up. So they essentially put the responsibility on me to ensure their mistake was corrected. When I called asking for updates, the receptionists regularly screened my calls and insisted the general manager was busy. Two days in a row I left messages and was promised Id get a call back that day. They did end up refunding my account, but I never received a call or follow-up from any of the staff members I contacted multiple times.EoS has a very good facility, but theyve lost my business with their lack of communication and professionalism.

Im tired of having to deal with this gym. I called to cancel my acount last week. They took down my information and I thought it was going to make this process very easy. Unfortunately it was not disclosed to me that I would be charged for last years renewal fee on top of my monthly fee. Im now going to dispute these charges as fraud because it is clear that this gym is scamming its customers.

Taking me over a month to cancel membership and still pending. Cancelled via their app, via phone and via email and still being charged. EOS transferred me to their parent company ABC which is still unable to cancel my account. All in all Ive been on the phone for over 50 minutes and my issue still hasnt been resolved. I am not given a clear confirmation of cancellation nor I am CCd on any escalation emails.That said, gym itself was clean (last time Ive checked was June 2020), trainers and local staff were friendly and professional.As far as membership services go, this organization is not customer friendly at all.The cancellation experience has been nothing but frustrating and a big waste of time.Update - 6 days later and I still got no response. Tried calling today and on the 6th attempt someone told me to call back later cause they cant cancel the membership.

I noticed Becca G has gone through the same BS loop and ended up paying for a gym she hasnt used at all. Beware of their lack of professionalism and always cover your back.This company started with a promise of an highly affordable gym in downtown LA. I joined against some of my friends warnings because it was a good deal. And since then it has been one issue after another.The gyms opening was delayed for months. Finally, I was able to workout maybe for a month or two. The facility was good but the promised parking started failing very quickly. Again I was ready to look past these issues because the pricing was good enough!Because of the pandemic, they had to close which is not their fault. However when it comes to reopening the gym in March 2021, the BS loop got re-activated again. They asked for validation and I called for cancellation instead to make sure Im removed from their system. Its been more than a year for Gods sake. Peoples lives changes so you cant assume they are coming back! I havent validated and even called for a cancellation.After trying plenty of times, I reached to a customer service and she put a note for cancellation. I called to verify after they opened the gym and another customer representative canceled my membership. I thought I was finally done with this unprofessional company. But it turns out the first representative didnt really initiated the process while the second one messed it up even further. Of course I had no idea!Then the harassments started. I kept getting calls from their financial unit ABC or whatever about pending dues. I was naïve enough to think it was a clerical error. How could this be, right?The calls got so annoying which forced me go to their location(about an hour traffic) and guess what? Im being charged for an annual membership fee and a month of dues!The front desk people confirmed that I called before the opening and asked for cancellation. However they say I must pay the dues. Otherwise my cancellation is pending. Without fighting any longer, I got their corporate number and called thinking its still a mistake!!!If you see a recent unknown charge in your credit card, its... They had to put this voice recording in the very beginning of the call because they probably burned a lot of people the same way.I am still being nice and trying to solve the issue. Imagine you signed up for a gym, could workout maybe 20 times max and youre charged an annual membership and dues after you called them and cancelled. But the answer is always the same BS.You need to pay because you need to pay because you need to pay.... Nobody stops and says This person hasnt been in this gym over a year. How can we make him pay an annual fee?. Any company I ever dealt with would fix this situation and cancel my membership without forcing me to pay because it was clear that the problem was on the corporate not on the member!!!I unfortunately paid not to get harassed by this company any longer but Im still not sure if this is the end of the story. I hope I never deal with this company or its associates.If you still wanna workout at this gym, be extremely careful. Make sure they verify everything in person and give you clear documentation and explanation. If they make a mistake, assume responsibility yourself. Because in the end, they will force you to be responsible for their mistakes!I wish I could say anything nice about them besides some shiny new gym equipments they installed. You can still find relatively cheap gyms around.Dont buy into their hype. Be very very careful!

Ive tried to cancel my account since February, even sent a certified letter. I continue to receive payment notifications even though they verified cancellation of my account. Dont bother signing up unless youre prepared for the headache when you want to cancel. They send your account to a third party company that makes you run around in circles to screw you over.

EOS is absolutely horrible to their customers. I was never even able to use their facilities because of the pandemic and now they want to charge me $250+ to cancel. It’s a really nasty thing to do to people right now who lost their jobs and are struggling. There was no warning about an increase in membership price nor anything about renewing my membership after a YEAR of being closed. Definitely go somewhere else!!!! Try to cancel if you signed up before the pandemic or look into your membership because they have changed it and are trying to collect as much $ as possible.
