Absolutely a wonderful complex, with a fantastic community feeling, a chilled vibe thats really inspiring. I love overlooking the inner courtyard, the sound of the fountain when opening my french windows; something magical about it. The amenities in Villa Carlotta are outstanding, with a rooftop, a pool area that makes me feel like Im in the South of France again, a gym and a gorgeous lobby area with a piano. They keep the place in great condition and during these covid times I admire the amount of cleaning that gets done around the property (keep it up!). Most of all, I really enjoy all my interactions with the crew who look after this place. A special shout out to Patrycia, Vanessa and Jeremy who have made me feel very welcomed and taken care of. Its the little things, the attention to detail and the relaxed vibe. Im certain Ill be here for a while and would highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

Not only were the rooms beautifully done but the view was everything i was so comfortable i almost didnt want to leave ha not only did they meet my needs but also my pets! Making sure we had everything and so much more shout out to vanessa for making my stay so much more memorable!!

Moved in one month ago and we couldnt be happier. The staff has been amazing. Move-in day was easy and fast, which we appreciated. We have such a positive experience at this residency. We havent had any issues here regarding anything that would be considered a disturbance. We love it here!!

Villa Carlotta is one of the most magical buildings in Los Angeles, Tucked away in Franklin Village, it is a true get away from the busy city while still accessible to Hollywood, Silver Lake and West Hollywood. The property has so many services making your stay easy and seamless.

Villa Carlotta is extraordinary. A quiet landmarked building with a glorious quiet courtyard complete with fountain, and exquisitely appointed rooms and suites, with kitchens that are perfectly stocked. The best place for someone away from home to work on a movie or TV project, it offers peace and quiet, but also, a truly lovely, caring staff led by Luke and Victoria, who are attentive and generous. I consider Villa Carlotta my home when in Los Angeles, and it changed my life. None of the chaos of Chateau Marmont, but more personality. A stretch of Franklin Avenue offers a book store, a magazine stand, a number of good restaurants, and around the corner is the Oaks Gourmet Market, with great pizzas and sandwiches which they happily deliver to V.C. The residents are uniformly appreciative of the place and care for it, and one another. It is low key and elegant, unpretentious and a refuge.

A Hidden Gem!Stayed here for 45 days, while in town for work from NYC. Such a cool vibe with a super chic design. I stayed in a studio and it was more like a suite, than studio.The staff are divine and super helpful.My only negative feedback would be that, it does not have a bar or restaurant but the team offered me complimentary rose in the evenings:-)Will directly be back.

Stayed two nights in corner suite.Although Im slightly wary of public spaces due to the current covid global health scare, the Villa Cs grounds and room were immaculately appointed and reassuringly clean with staff going beyond the call of reassuring aid without any uninvited imposition.As to the lobby area, although quiet (as expected during Cali lockdown) -it was both gorgeous and restful; so spent some much needed holiday time reading & relaxing by the outside fountain.Though my absolute favorite spot in the entire space was the beautiful (secret-shhh) pool area, so well designed with the perfect mix of tropical ambiance and European comfort. Think a French Riviera poolside counterpart to the Chateau Marmont.My new go to, will be back!

The best place away from home and feel at home .I am staying at the fully furnished, charming, unique and exclusive Villa Carlotta already for 2 month. It’s such an amazing luxury sophisticated experience!Basically it’s a 5-star Boutique-Residence Hotel with all the amenities one can wish for ! The team, the delightful manager Brian and the lovely Vanessa who will help you with anything your heart is set on! And Tiarra who recently joined ! A dream team !Villa Carlotta is an old Spanish colonial Hollywood landmark building from 1926, which was restored in a very chic Bohemian way and therefore didn’t loose its spirit and personality.My room is a dream come true and I feel carried away into a fairytale world . It is very quiet here, I am looking at the famous Hollywood sign and onto the top of Palm-trees embracing the wonderful courtyard with the soothing sound of water flowing into the fountain .My apartment is airy, fully furnished with a large kitchen, high ceilings, a King-size bed, a charming all white bathroom and plenty of wardrobe spaces and the building has a 24-hour concierge. And its dog friendly !There is a gorgeous rooftop I can hang-out on, and a pool as well as the Hideaway Club House are in the making.And yet the fun and exciting little hipster hood of Franklin Village is right in front of me.It’s a true Hollywood experience one shouldn’t miss !

Was over for 3 months, from Paris, my son lives behind the Villa Carlotta in Beachwood Canyon. Felt like a home away from home. Very European feeling with the architecture, design and ambience. It reminded me a little of one of the Hotel Costes boutique hotels. The location is ideal, as you have everything you need on your doorstep. The front desk staff were beyond and sent me to their best restaurants - Republique was my favorite for the butter for a taste of home:-)All in all, 5 Stars and exceptional value!

It was a mess. The place was available, then not ready yet, then available, but with a 67% increase in price. Not serious, not reliable.
