Lilly, who works at the front office is incredibly helpful, doesn’t waste time, and takes care of issues quickly. This place is usually pretty busy, but the staff tries to get on top of things pretty quickly. Usually in this sector people are on the move, and there usually always issues, but the Menzies Air China staff do their best to handle the situations quickly.
This place needs MORE dock doors & More Employees and a Faster processing system. Youre almost guaranteed to wait 3+ hours at this place. I feel like they should have specific forklift drivers for Import- Export and for the small trucks and vans that wait on the ramp.Dont even bother asking for a supervisor or manager.

AIRPORT WAREHOUSE FOR IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. NOT A MAIN FACILITY FOR THE PUBLIC. LONG WAITING TIMES, BUT DECENT, CLEAN WAREHOUSE.
This warehouse doesnt have any colaboration when it comes to cargos being picked up. I came here to pick up 2 pallets but was able to just pick up one pallet and they said they couldnt find the ither pallet i need to pick up while charging storage fees. When i got here today 12-07-2020 to pick up the other remaining cargo, there was a quick waiting time because of the line but it was bearable of a wait but when i got into the warehouse to give the warehouse personel my paperworks, ni one was taking it and there was only one driver driving the forklift when in fact there were 4 of us waiting for a driver to be available. They do the line by numbers that is on the paperwork coming from the front desk so my nunber was 72, while i was waiting in line, there was a personel that works in this airline under company name Menzies and i was not able to get his name but i couldnt forget him because he was the one who kept telling me to wait outside. He gave a paperwork to a truck driver which has the number 74, that being said they go by numbering system and since i have 72, i should be helped out first, so this personel gave the number 74 paperworks to a trucker thats already being helped when in fact, he should be back falling in line for the number 74 paperwork. I do think that if someone knows someone working here, there would be a big chance that the peraon picking up the cargo wouldnt go back on waiting in line as the person gave it to him so the driver can juat givr it to the person whos heloing him and loading him driving the forklift. Plus, if they dont feel like helping you, they wouldnt even bother asking you if you had been helped. Such a disappointment seeing a warehouse so busy doing inappropriate things. But i guess if you complain, then they wouldnt even help you out anymore to payback for your complaining. Hope there would be some changes in these cargo airlines. I know it is stressful but thats your job to maintain the quickness with care of the cargos being picked up and juay follow the rules all the time.Hope this helps.
This warehouse at LAX is a nightmare! Trucks wait 5 or 6 hours to get loaded and then they say the freight is moved to some other warehouse and you must pay and go to another place. Clown operation!

Very inefficient and lazy in doing things. I really don’t understand why they are so slow. If you come here, it may take a whole day to do what you need.
First of all you have back up to one of the garage doors until you can sign in and expect them to take their time getting to you after you have signed in. Thats not necessarily the problem. After we had paid to get our cargo, we received no help until we BEGGED someone to get our cargo and it seemed to be a huge burden on them. Expect to be here for 5+ hours when realistically this process should be less than an hour. If I could get them no stars I would have. Good luck!
The worst place to deliver a long went at 8AM to deliver and made me wait till night and told they dont have space in this huge warehouse, spoke very rudely especially the person outside.

The process to get your freight is crazy long. It’s normally 16 hours after the plane lands. Once the freight is “ready for pickup”. You have to wait for processing in the office for 2-4 hours. After that you have to wait at the docks for your freight to be brought to you, up to 2 hours.Make sure to get a dock as quick as posdible. We showed up at 4:45 am and were still 8th in line. Dock number 9 is a ramp and can only be used for smal vans, pickups, and box trailers.

Agents are very slow helping customers need to improve customer service......the Cargo handler needs to make some improvements. with some exceptions to a young lady thats trying to do her best to keep the operation running smooth out on the docks shes a big help on that part I give her applause and five stars.
