Easily the best LSAT prep out there. I would recommend and have recommended this course to two of my friends already and they are now currently enrolled. The Blueprint method is effective and their website is incredibly useful and user friendly with countless hours of practice and reference material. But perhaps the greatest aspect of Blueprint at least for me was my instructor Branden Frankel. He is an amazing teacher who actually takes an interest in his students. He was very knowledgeable, was not arrogant at all, added humor every now and then which is very much needed when studying for the LSAT, and made sure you understood a concept. He never lost his patience and was always very friendly to every student. He is very engaging and to be honest the four hours in class flies by. Highly recommend Blueprint to anyone looking to study for the LSAT.
I genuinely hate being in a classroom for a long period of time, but Branden was such a great instructor that it went by so fast and was very captivating. Getting distracted easily for me makes it harder to learn the material, but his jokes and excitement helped me really understand it while at the same time not getting bored or disinterested. Hes a wonderful instructor and so was the Blueprint material. I recommend this test company because it helped me work on all my weaknesses very well, as well as their enthusiastic and respectful instructor Branden.
I took the Downtown Spring Blueprint course at Southwestern Law School and absolutely loved it! Professor Branden Frankel was able to simplify the course material in order for us to better understand it. The four hour class went by so fast. He made it interesting and kept us alert. He cares about his students and makes sure that everyone understands the material being taught. Professor Frankel is the example of what a professor should be. I am recommending him to all of my friends that are currently studying for the LSAT.
I was recommended Blueprint by a friend who took the LSAT prep course a few months prior to me. The course was challenging at first, having so much information to process and understand, but luckily my instructor was Branden F. and his teaching method was one of the best I have come across. He teaches the class in a very practical and fun way so that those hard to grasp concepts become broken down and easy to understand. The student is his first priority, he is quick to respond to emails and goes above and beyond to help his students reach their maximum capabilities. My professors could learn a thing or two from him. I improved my LSAT score by over 11 points so I highly recommend you take this course with Branden.
I selected Blueprint because they boast the biggest score improvement, and I started out at a 154. Only three months later, after doing the whole online course (which is awesome, do not be put off by the online option)... I got a 170. I was FLOORED by how much I improved. That score seemed miles away when I first started. Trent and Matt are hilarious as are everyone else featured on the course, and the homework and practice sections really work. I saw improvement steadily throughout the course. I never felt let down on any topic, any question type... everything is presented clearly and in an interesting way so you can stay focused. Also, the study buddy feature is super helpful -- they reassure you that you arent a hopeless idiot because the LSAT is sure good at making you feel that way. Overall, this was the best possible thing I could have done. AND THE PRICE!! The in-person courses in my area (Denver) were all upwards of $1500. In total, Blueprint cost me about $800. I cant recommend this course enough. It sucks that the LSAT is such an important part of law apps, but truly, getting a high score can change your whole life, and I know I couldnt have gotten a 170 without Blueprint.
Branden is a compassionate, well-knowledge and highly proficient instructor. Branden does a great job at presenting the LSAT concepts in an analogous format. Instead of spitting all the rules and facts at you, he provides examples that help explain how to tackle and understand questions, which I found very helpful. One of the most important qualities I believe an instructor should have is knowing how to a create an environment in which students do not feel afraid to ask a question and Branden does that very well. If a student does not understand how to tackle a question, Branden puts a huge emphasis on making sure the student understands the concepts behind question. I highly recommend taking his course!
I took the Spring Downtown LA course at Southwestern Law School with Branden Frankel and couldnt be happier. Definitely saw increase in my score, gained better understanding of the tactics and techniques on how to approach the questions. Branden was great! He managed to present all the complexity and ambiguity of the LSAT with simple, true to life examples and outstanding sense of humor. I admired his knowledge of the subject matter and overall intelligence. And of course, I cannot not to mention the Blueprint team who was very helpful and responsive throughout the course. Keep up the good work Blueprint
This course was extremely helpful and better helped prepare me for the LSAT. I owe a huge THANK YOU to Branden Frankel, who was not only knowledgeable but fully engaged with the class, and created a comfortable atmosphere for everyone to ask questions. Branden did not leave class until all students asked their questions. He really wanted us to learn and improve! Im happy I chose the specific course I did and can not wait to receive my LSAT score back. Thanks again!
Thanks to the help and attentiveness of my tutor, Branden, I was able to make an 11 point score improvement within two months. After taking the mess that was the July test, I felt comfortable my performance was within my score range that I had improved to, and am confident in my abilities. While I may be taking the test one more time after additional preparation in order to boost my score higher, I could have never gotten here without Branden. He went above and beyond for us as students, showing up early, and staying late.
I first heard of this LSAT Prep company from my Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Pi. Blueprint Test Prep was fairly new at the time and I did not know what to expect. However, with high recommendation from fellow members from UCLA, Blueprint Test Prep will not disappoint. Their material is really easy to follow and the concepts are great. The videos are very good at explaining the questions. The best part of the course has to be the instructors and the help you receive from Blueprint. For example, I once had a question and emailed my instructor late at night. I was surprised to get a response a couple hours later. Blueprint Test Prep wants you to do well and provides many resources for you to get that score you want. It is important to note that you still have to study, but Blueprint Test Prep really does provide a blueprint for getting a great score on the LSAT. Throughout the course, I saw improvement and it gave me more confidence. As an added bonus, Blueprint Test Prep will often hold workshops on campus. It is a must go! That being said, I highly recommend this course, especially Blueprint The Movie. Great Stuff!
I took the classroom class in Chicago for the Oct 2012 LSAT. No bones about it, the class is intense, but in a good way. The format/length of the class is perfect for conditioning the test-taker for the actual LSAT. Pricing was relatively reasonable compared to the other LSAT-prep classes out there, and what really drove me to Blueprint was that they specialize in the LSAT-only.The quality of instruction was great! I could tell between our instructor (Luke) and the online material that Blueprint instructors in general tend to be engaging and helpful, which is so important to get through some pretty tough material.Online support was also very well-designed, from extra homework (you NEED to practice logic games as much as possible) to audio/video explanations of questions you may have missed on the practice exams. By the way, Blueprints practice exams are real practice exams from previous years - I found out many of the practice exams you find in books are not.I took the LSAT twice. The first time, I had a 6 point increase from my original LSAT practice exam. The second time, I had an additional 6 point increase, for a 12 point increase total. It helped a lot with getting into a good law school in Chicago. One more thing - Heather and the rest of the staff in LA are very proactive and helpful on the phone. Almost like high school guidance counselors, but you know, actually useful ;o)
I took the Spring Downtown course at Southwestern with Branden Frankel. Although the curriculum is not easy, having instructor Branden made everything so much easier. Not only does he make the material engaging, but he genuinely cares for the success of all of his students. He is very knowledgeable makes sure he answers all of your questions, and if necessary even goes as far as making time before or after class to address any struggles you might be having with the class. I would highly recommend Blueprint to anyone taking the LSAT and wanting to improve their scores. Its not an easy curriculum, but i believe its definitely worth it.

I took the Spring Downtown LA course at Southwestern Law School with Branden Frankel and had an excellent experience. Not only did he learn the name of every student within the first couple classes, he did the impossible and somehow made LSAT prep enjoyable- using funny examples and keeping the class engaged for each four-hour session. He was great at checking in to ensure the entire class understood the content and followed up with students personally if they seemed to be behind on a particular topic. The online materials were also great although the app is nearly unusable because of all the bugs. Overall I would recommend this course to students who need to be held accountable while they study- the structure and length is perfect and I feel much better equipped to tackle the LSAT.
Just took the LSAT this past January, and I highly recommend Blueprint (no matter your previous study level or comfort with the exam). Branden Frankel was an incredible teacher! He really knew how to explain things in a meaningful way and was incredibly patient. Highly highly recommend.
Id be lying if I said that I didnt hesitate signing up for the class when I saw how much it would cost me. However, by the end of the course, I didnt have an ounce of regret and was really glad that I decided to take this Blueprint course. Having Branden as the instructor is what made the tedious material doable and the class as a whole enjoyable. He teaches students in a highly engaging manner and does a great job at being entertaining and educational at the same time. I had previously taken an extension LSAT prep course through my university and I can confidently say that Brandens class was a thousand times better. I actually looked forward to showing up to each session and really felt like I was learning each step of the way.
Blueprint was incredible. It was very worth the money. The team was very helpful, and I got so much better at taking this test over the course of my studying with Blueprint. I cannot imagine a better test prep service, and I am really glad that someone referred me to them. I would recommend Blueprint to anyone! They have so much material for you to work with, and they really made studying for a high-pressure exam as painless as it can get.
Studying for the LSAT seems like a scary journey in the beginning, but Blueprints class does an excellent job of making it more approachable! Huge credit must be given to Branden Frankel, as he has years of experience and also the ideal teaching style for this exam. His explanations help transform your way of thinking to one that ideal for this exam. I have and continue to recommend his class to others!
There are so many options out there for LSAT prep courses, with that being said do your research. Although this was the only prep course that I took it was pretty concise and made sure you were practice ready for the LSAT. My instructor was Braden Frankel. I found Branden to be a good well rounded instructor who values the Blueprint method. He was informative, funny, and cared about his students law school process. Branden was always approachable and engaging. With that being said some tips always ask questions and come prepared for class .
I am overall happy with my experience with Blueprint. I took my course with Branden and he was very on top of things and made the class as clear as possible considering the material. He did a good job in making it fun and also trying to get to know everyone. I think overall blueprint is a good test prep company but studying for the lsat comes down to you and how much time you put into it. It won’t do much for you other than lay a foundation that you have to build on.
Branden Frankel is the best person for the job! He takes initiative to connect with his students and strives for excellence. Not only does he make the LSAT enjoyable to study, he also helps improve scores by making it easy to understand concepts and what to expect when studying. He is very relatable and extremely funny, which makes the course bearable. I would recommend his class to anyone who is studying for the LSAT and/or thinking about studying. Needless to say, he is the best LSAT prep there is.
If you are studying for the LSAT and have not selected Blueprint, you are doing yourself a disservice. As someone who normally struggles with online coursework, I found Blueprints curriculum engaging, entertaining, easy to follow, and incredibly practical come test day. By just taking the online course alone, my score increased 13 points. But the best part of this company is the people. I took advantage of the private tutoring opportunities and got to work with Robert Seaney in Boston. After working with him I rose another 15+ points. He not only prepared me for the LSAT, but gave me study techniques applicable to my future success as a law student. I cannot say enough good things about Robert and the rest of the people at Blueprint. They all made the incredibly painful process of the LSAT as easy as possible. My money spent with Blueprint was some of my best money ever spent.
I took the Blueprint LSAT in-class prep course with Branden Frankel for the January 2019 LSAT which was worth the cost! I was able to increase my score by 10+ points by the end of the course thanks to Branden! The course does set you up to improve your LSAT score. However, you must bare in mind that it does require hard work on your end to succeed as there will be numerous weeks of having to go through three lessons a week. Each and every class you will go through the book page-by-page with breakdowns of the particular concepts being tested for each by Brandon and practice questions in each lesson. Brandon does an exceptional job explaining how to approach questions for each concept and why each answer choice is correct and/or wrong for each question the class goes over. Further, Branden wants to see you succeed and is very helpful so he encourages everyone in the class to ask questions if you are having trouble understanding a concept or question. If you are thinking about taking the Blueprint LSAT prep course, I would definitely recommend signing up with Branden as the instructor.
I had the pleasure of taking this class to prep for my LSAT with Branden Frankel. It was such an enjoyable experience! Branden made the class fun and interactive, at the same time he explained the material extremely thoroughly. Every concept was reviewed and all questions answered. I feel ready and prepared to tackle the LSAT! Thanks Branden!
I took the CSUN session over summer to prepare for the September LSAT. I highly recommend signing up with Branden Frankel! Branden definitely went above and beyond for his students. He always made sure to stay after class to answer questions and help out. Hed also come early to class which offered even more time to get extra help. Endless respect and appreciation for him! Take him!
I took the Spring Downtown LA LSAT course with Branden Frankel and it was a great and truly helpful experience! On my diagnostic exam, I was able to get through all the Logical Reasoning questions. After the first couple weeks, I noticed I wasnt finishing all the Logical Reasoning questions, which was scary at first, but then I saw an increase in score! Even though I had become a little slower, I was becoming much more accurate in my answers. As for Branden, he was the perfect balance of fun, engaging and knowledgeable. A 4 hour class sounds intimidating, but Branden kept the class lively and interested. Hes one of the most personable teachers Ive had the pleasure of learning from!I saw about a 16 point increase after the 2 month course and am excited to take what Ive learned and keep pushing for my ideal score!
Blueprint really is the way to go to tackle the LSAT. They breakdown the material very well and make understanding the material very easy. Their online portal is nothing but amazing as it has everything you can think of. I do recommend strongly to take the course in class as being in a physical classroom really does make a difference. TAKE BRANDEN! Ill say it again. TAKE BRANDEN! Branden is an amazing teacher and really knows the material like the back of his hand. He makes long lectures funny and worthwhile. He really cares for his students and will go the extra mile to help out those that need it. Branden is the man. 100% recommend to take this course with Branden.
I took the in-class Blue Print LSAT course in Pasadena at the Courtyard Marriott. The class is infinitely better than doing the online version. I cant emphasize enough just how important a good instructor can be.My class was taught by Chris Whyte. Its really not an exaggeration to say that he made an otherwise boring course fun. He was organized and wasted no time at all so you really get your moneys worth.
Branden was such a great instructor. Made studying for the LSAT as simple as possible. He was quite engaging and thorough during class. Taught the course at a good pace. Willing to help students individually if they struggled with specific concepts.
I took the Atlanta in-class AND online course for the October 2012 LSAT. I chose Blueprint because I saw that the instructors were all super qualified, there was a sincere effort to make instruction entertaining without compromising effectiveness, and I was getting more bang for my buck (more class hours, practice tests, etc). The course started in the summer and once Fall semester started, I had to miss the Thursday classes because of class so I watched the online videos. I absolutely loved every bit of it. I most certainly can attribute my 14 point gain to Blueprint Prep. I never dreaded going to the 4 hour classes every Tuesday and Thursday because my instructor was awesome and kept us laughing. There was definitely no shortage of material and the online videos were unbelievably helpful. With the LSAT, its all about strategy and Blueprint Prep is simply incomparable when it comes to teaching strategy. I also found it helpful that I could literally see my strong and weak areas in each section and hear/watch explanations for each homework question or practice test. I would recommend Blueprint in a heartbeat to anyone.
I took the Fall Downtown LA course with Branden Frankel. I was skeptical of these LSAT courses but quickly learned how valuable a course could be because of him. While the Blueprint course itself is excellent, Branden is outstanding: he provides specific methods and approaches in addition to the standard course material that are very valuable. In particular I remember tips he gave on approaching Logic Games and on Logical Reasoning that made instant improvements to my scores. If youre going to take a course, go with Branden and Blueprint.
Blueprint is a lifesaver. Branden Frankel was my instructor and he is honestly the best. He is really patient and genuinely cares about his students. He always answered question, even if they were dumb question. Branden made sure we were understanding the material. Plus, the online homework and videos really helped. Whenever you did not understand something, there were videos for you to watch. The homework is there to enhance your knowledge and help you practice the methods the instructor teaches. If youre looking to go to law school and need help with studying for the LSAT. Take Blueprint. Get Branden. He is awesome and will help you get the score you want!
Branden is the BEST instructor at Blueprint. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are prepared for the test. For example, I had a tough time with a few different concepts. Not only did he email me back and forth with detailed explanations but he also met me before class to go over the difficult topics.
I took Blueprint: The Movie and raised my score from a 155 on the first practice test to a 171 on the actual test.. The folks at Blueprint have designed a fantastic program that makes studying for the LSAT completely bearable. You can tailor your online schedule to coincide with your own personal schedule. Working late? Tired from an aggressive Saturday night? No problem, move the next class or workshop to whatever date and time works for you. The videos themselves are also funny and engaging. You will not get bored like you would with other classes. They have explanations on questions you get wrong during homework and practice tests so that you can fix where you messed up. If you stick to your personal schedule and complete the full program, you will go in on test day ready to confidently whip the pants off the real test. Blueprint is the real deal.. I highly recommend it.
I recently took the Blueprint course with Branden Frankel and it was such an amazing experience! He really breaks down course for you which makes it easier to understand. Branden is very knowledge and goes out of his way for his students. Would definitely recommend taking his course!
I loved this course (Blueprint @Southwestern Law). My instructor, Branden Frankel, was not only very knowledgeable, but he also did an amazing job helping me target and attack my weaknesses. The class was taught in a way that helped presented the often dry, and difficult LSAT material, in a manner that was enjoyable, easy, and comical. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their LSAT Score.
This is an excellent course. I took the Spring 2018 DTLA course with Branden Frankel who was incredible. I signed up for the LSAT randomly and within a few months, went up a total of 14 points which I completely attribute to Branden and Blueprint. You wont be disappointed with this course. Unlike other LSAT prep courses, the instructors are funny, the content can be humorous at times and the online portion of Blueprint is unrivaled.
Blueprint was a terrific choice for an LSAT Prep Program. I took the course in Brooklyn with Christian B and was really pleased with it. Christian was awesome and dedicated lots of his own time before and after class to working with whoever needed help. He genuinely cared about us getting better. Not only that, Christian was backed up by a strong curriculum and proven methods. I highly recommend Blueprint.
I took the Spring 2018 Downtown LA course with Branden Frankel. I saw an exponential improvement in my scores as the course progressed. The Blueprint curriculum is rigorous, and if you commit to doing the work, you will be able to reach your goals.Branden is a knowledgable, funny, and approachable instructor. He was able to break down and explain concepts with ease. He also made sure to take his time when moving between concepts in class, to make sure that there were no more questions from any of the students. His occasional joking around helps to keep students comfortable, as well as alert and engaged during the 4 hour class. I cannot imagine my Blueprint experience without him.
Im so thrilled I chose to use Blueprint as my method for preparing for the LSAT. The combination of online and in classroom work allowed me to work on my own time but also gave me access to teacher if I needed any help. The online resource is, by far, the best tool for studying. It is adaptive and gives you more difficult questions as you go along. It also provides plenty of timed practice tests and video explanations to questions. Not using Blueprint would be a huge mistake. Working through this course, my score improved by 16 points!
Favorite LSAT course. I took another course and it did not compare to Blueprint. Blueprint is tailored to YOU. While I havent received my score yet, I am confident I did better than the first time I took the LSAT with the previous course. Blueprint made learning the LSAT fun and rewarding. If you put in the time, you will see results. The course is already great, but you have to commit to it.
Ive taken a brick and mortar LSAT prep course before, with some success; but by using Blueprint (the online version), I raised my LSAT score by 15 points (probably would have been more if I had practiced as much as I should have), and was admitted to my target school! Its easy to use, the lessons make sense, and the real-time work and practice tests are great, and its affordable. Great product, and I definitely recommend!
I registered for Blueprints online course and am so happy with my decision to do so! I took the LSAT first in June 2016 and was extremely disappointed with my average score. Thats when I decided to retake the exam and enroll in Blueprints online course. Thanks to Blueprint and its services, my score improved by nine points for the September 2016 exam, and I now have a score in the 160s!I highly recommend Blueprint to anybody looking for a prep course. The videos were comical at times, which helped me to find the motivation to study on many days. I also really enjoyed the option of being able to view the course videos and complete assignments on my iPhone and iPad, rather than being forced to sit in front of the computer all day. This really helped me to reach my goals while traveling! The Blueprint team is very friendly and answers any questions or concerns almost immediately. All around, I had an amazing experience taking Blueprints course, and I am so happy that I registered for the course. This was money VERY well spent, and I have absolutely no regrets!
I took the course in Dallas with Mark. Before I took the course, I read the PowerScore books, and while they did teach me a lot, I did not really see much improvement in my score. After I took the Blueprint course, my score went from a 158 to a 170. I found everything they taught me extremely useful, and the structure of the course really helped me to cement concepts. On a more personal level, all of my interactions with Blueprint have been really good. Mark is really laid-back, and genuinely cares about helping you. The office support staff at Blueprint was also really helpful.I also wanted to mention the online resources, because I found the student resources profile they set you up with extremely useful. My only negative comment is that the course is given at a hotel, so that can sometimes get noisy. However, the hotel staff was generally pretty good at keeping things quiet if we asked them too.I highly recommend Blueprint to anyone trying to improve their LSAT score.
I took the Blueprint class this fall and the LSAT in November 2018.Our instructor, Branden Frankel, (or Mr. B as he likes to be called) was able to confidently and patiently articulate his obvious grasp of the test material. He even took the time to do a diagnostic write up for us based on our practice tests 2 weeks before the actual test. This course is expensive, much more so than many other classes, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and Blueprint and Mr. B delivered.
I would recommend Blueprint to anyone who is trying to improve their LSAT score. I took the Washington, DC course with Mark and it was the best decision I could have made in terms of improving my chances of scoring better. Blueprint specializes in LSAT, so the focus of the entire company is geared toward this particular test, unlike many of its competitor companies. The founders have spent years analyzing every aspect of the test, so you really learn all the tips and tricks to help maximize your score. I found that they are also really great at picking out their instructors, and all of them fit in with the Blueprint culture of excellent instruction coupled with entertaining classes. Mark in particular was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond is helping his students succeed and often stayed after class to answer questions and give individualized advice based on your strengths and weaknesses. I would also definitely suggest getting the video package because it has explanations for almost every question you could come across in tests and homework. Almost no course youve taken in high school or college could prepare you for the LSAT, so taking Blueprint is truly invaluable to your score.
Branden Frankel is the best instructor! He made the LSAT blueprint concepts easy to understand and is always willing to give extra help to students. I highly recommend taking it with him. I had a great experience!
I took the CSUN session over the summer, and I am so grateful that I did. Branden is such a great instructor and made the dense LSAT material more digestible. I really appreciated his investment in the class and how much he cared about how well we all understood the material.
Taking the Blueprint CSUN course was definitely a great decision. Without it I would have struggled much more trying to self-study. The instructor, Branden Frankel, was a huge part of the value of this course as well. He was patient, knowledgeable, and used humor throughout the course to keep it all interesting. If you are taking the Blueprint course I would highly recommend taking it with Branden.
I participated in the Blueprint class in Washington, DC leading up to the June 2012 LSAT. My instructor, Mark Salvador was always enthusiastic and clearly communicated LSAT concepts. I most certainly improved throughout the course and I definitely attribute this to the Blueprint method.Studying for the LSAT can be painful, but Blueprint made it actually enjoyable (I know, hard to believe!) I was excited to attend class and that made it easy to become dedicated to a regular study schedule -- which is a key to performing well on the LSAT.I give Blueprint five stars.
I just took the June LSAT after spending roughly 6 months with Blueprint. While Im not entirely sure what I got on my LSAT quite yet, I KNOW it is significantly higher because of Blueprint. Blueprint made Logical Reasoning and Logic Games a breeze. I walked into the testing room feeling completely prepared. Best of all, I got to study on my schedule. Blueprint was perfect for me. Cant wait to get my June 14 results back!
I did my fair share of prep course searching before choosing Blueprint. The fact that they only service LSAT lives up to its expectation. They really structured the course and the online material to be learner friendly; I felt like they paid attention to even small details in how to engage the student. That said, who your instructor is plays a huge part in learning. Branden Frankel was the perfect mix of fun and serious. Coming to class for four hours at night after work, you need an instructor who understands how to make these concepts graspable for you. He knew how to keep us on track but was able to stop and answer each students questions and interpretations. I highly encourage you take this course from him.
I found the Blueprint prep course to be an invaluable resource for my LSAT preparation. I took the online course and loved its flexibility. The instructors and material were not only top notch, but they were also entertaining! They were able to present difficult material in an engaging and informative way. I definitely scored higher than I would have without Blueprint. The score helped me gain admission to my first choice law school, as well as a scholarship! Thanks Blueprint!
If you need to take an LSAT class take Blueprint and take it with Spencer Robins. He was literally the best and made the class worthwhile (everyone said this). Spencer is super funny, which makes class much more interesting but hes also incredibly smart. All in all, he is a TEACHER, and a good one. Highly recommend this class with Spencer!
I took the Spring Downtown LA course with Branden and absolutely loved it! He was extremely helpful in laying the framework for LSAT while engaging his students. Whether youre looking to boost your score a little more towards the end of your studies or looking to lay the foundation for your LSAT journey I think Blueprint with Branden will be an excellent choice!
I would highly recommend Blueprint prep for anyone thinking about taking the LSAT. It is significantly easier to complete than a 4 hour class twice a week, and because it is interesting you are able to get more from it. Not only is the class incredible, but they are committed to their students and have weekly blog posts that have helpful insights not just about the LSAT but also law school applications in general. I would definitely tell a friend to take this course.
My experience with BluePrint was great. They have very useful methods that with practice can be mastered. The classes were very well structured and Branden is one of the best instructors I have had in any academic setting. He does an amazing job at explaining every question type and strategy that proved to be very useful when I took the LSAT. I was able to see myself improve in certain areas throughout the course and never felt scared to ask Branden a question. He is inviting, knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend Blueprint to any of my friends looking to take an LSAT class and I would highly recommend they take it with Branden as the instructor.
I recently took the Blueprint Prep Class at CSUN in preparation for the June LSAT. I wont receive my LSAT Score for another two weeks yet Im confident I did the best of my ability. I wouldnt have this confidence had I not taken the Blueprint prep course. Going into the course I was lost. I had tried to do a small bit of studying on my own and became completely frustrated. After doing some last minute research I decided to enroll in the Blueprint course about 10 days before it started. It was a huge expense and I dont have parents in a position who could contribute financially. On top of the financial commitment, I had a commute of an hour and half in order to attend class. The cost of gas and the commute were an issue. But I took the plunge and maxed out three separate credit cards in order to pay for the course. I went into the course not knowing if I had made the right decision. After the second practice test I felt the financial hardship was completely worth it. The difference in my score from the first practice test and the second made me feel like the course was worth every penny. The instructor, Branden Frankel, was funny and intelligent and made everything so much easier. Its not easy to be able to keep a class entertained and actively involved for 4 hours three times a week, but Blueprints original and amusing method (combined with Brandens witticism and knowledge) was able to make the time fly, while at the same time enable me to learn and remember the content. I feel like this class was definitely one of best investments I could have made towards my future. Thank you Blueprint!
Danny Gonzalez was my blueprint instructor. He was a sharp and relevant teacher that had just completed the June 2017 LSAT earning a score of 172 and had just been accepted to Duke University School of Law. I attended every class and felt completely confident in his ability to teach the course. The online materials were thorough but the class instruction was the most valuable. I plan to extend my subscription so that I can further practice the strategies learned in the course. Overall, I felt that the $1500 tuition was worth it.
I took Blueprint online in the Summer of 2012 and I then took the LSAT in October of 2012. I experienced an 11 point increase between my first practice test and my actual test result and I was extremely happy with the final score.I am now planning on attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Law on a full ride scholarship this fall. Due in huge part to my LSAT score, I received four full ride and 2 partial offers, so I definitely recommend this prep course. It isnt stuffy and formal; its comical and easy to relate to. They also understand that, coming in, students have no idea what the LSAT consists of. Also, if you have any questions or anything, they are happy to email students with any questions or concerns or just to hear how we are doing.Highly, highly, highly recommend. And good luck!
My experience with Blueprint was truly excellent. I came in knowing nothing about the LSAT. I scored a 154 on my diagnostic test on day one. After two months of intense classes, review sessions, hours of homework and several practice tests, I felt ready. My scores for the October 2012 LSAT just came in, and I couldnt be happier. I got a 170, scoring in the top 3% of all test-takers nationwide. This would not have been possible without this prep course. Spend the money, its an investment in your future. Derek, my instructor (I took the USC Tuesday/Thursday class) was incredibly smart and funny. He made studying for this test all the more enjoyable. Seriously, thanks to everyone at Blueprint. You have helped potentially change the course of my life!
I would give Blue Print more stars if necessary, the class has really opened up my eyes that sky is the limit when studying for the LSAT. My instructor Matt from Austin Texas was just really Phenomenal on how we could still have fun and study at the same time like edutainment! I strongly recommend those who take Blue Print, go in there humble then build your fussy-ness as time goes by and test Day approaches.
I took the course in Spring 2018 with Brandel Frankel in Downtown LA. I absolutely loved the course. From the first day until the last Practice Exam I had a 20 point increase! I could not believe the progress I made. The work was definitely time consuming but very worth it. What seemed impossible to comprehend in the beginning all began to slowly come together. As much as I would doubt myself, I began to trust the process and I realized that if you put in the work, you will definitely see results. Along with the curriculum, Brandens teaching strategies perfected the course and helped me prepare for the exam to full extent. Definitely would recommend!
I took this class to prepare myself for the October 2013 LSAT. I was extremely pleased with this LSAT course and I feel that its a big reason why I improved from a 151 all the way up to a 160 (though Ive heard of much larger jumps than mine). Adam was a fantastic instructor and was extremely interested in what he was teaching us he was even taking the practice exams along with us so that he can prepare to retake his very own LSAT (to improve his already awesome score of 171!). I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to improve their LSAT score and increase their chances of entering a great law school.
Highly recommend Blueprint LSAT. The instructors are super fun and helpful and the online website (MyBlueprint as well as the online course) are both extremely well organized and valuable resources. No complaints, as well as a 13 point increase so far!Personally I feel that if you are committed to doing ALL the work (albeit a lot of work, but if youre trying to go to law school get used to it) you should definitely see a significant improvement! As far as the online course specifically, its great for someone who like a flexible schedule but has the discipline to actually sit down and commit to the studying and lessons. I found it particularly helpful since I had already taken the in-class course and I was able to navigate fairly easily to the areas where I needed the most improvement.
Just finished taking this class this past November to January season at Southwestern Law School. Had a great experience. I definitely learned a lot and gave me great direction into taking the LSAT. I did not have much luck with my first tutor from another LSAT prep company and I highly recommend taking this course if you are interested in taking the test. I have taken the test twice and still felt lost but this class helped a lot. I had a great teacher, Branden Frankel, the class itself was intense, but he did his best to keep us engaged and made sure we werent lost. He made it easy to understand concepts that I thought I would never understand, for me understanding the LSAT was like learning a new language, and he broke concepts down for me that I struggled with. He was also helpful after class if we had more questions and was also very responsive outside of class via email, if we were stuck on homework or workshops. Branden is a great instructor who was easy to understand and made concepts relatable, his analogies are funny too so it breaks up the monotony of a daunting class/test. He was also a great motivator and made you want to do your best, especially when the nervousness kicks in! The online part of the course is very helpful and has tons of new questions to help you prepare. Best decision I made to take the class!
I took the Blueprint online course, and only finished maybe 70% of it. I found it engaging, funny, and best of all, extremely helpful. Between October and December my score went from 154 to 165.This greatly exceeded my expectations (I thought I was screwed). I would recommend Blueprint to anyone! If I could get a double digit increase without even finishing the course, you can too!
The instructors were all awesome. You can tell that they screen them really well and make sure that they all not only know the material, but are funny, entertaining, and relatable. I honestly can say that I never dreaded going to class (and thats saying something if youre studying for the LSAT) because Matt made the time go by really quickly with jokes integrated with the tough material. The books Blueprint gives you are well organized and really help you grasp all the difficult concepts and strategies. Went from a 155 to 169 -- an increase of 14 points, and honest to God I dont think I couldve done it self-studying or with another company.
If you are set on taking the LSAT and looking for extra help that is worth the painful financial investment Blueprint is the course for you.It is an individualized program-online portal and in class teaching that gets you where you want to be in terms of your final LSAT score. Of course you have to do your part but they give you the tools to succeed.A program wouldn’t be solid though without its top notch instructors one of them being, Brandon Frankel. You definitely want to take the course with him. He knows very well the beast that is the LSAT. He emphasizes which areas of each section LR, LG and RC to look out for, memorizing those flaw types and how to tackle appropriately sufficient and necessary questions. They are a doozy!
I took the Boston course with Laura before the June 2013 LSAT and could not be more satisfied with my experience. The Blueprint curriculum takes all of the surprises out of the test and boils it down to a straight-forward and incredibly thorough series of strategies. It is a commitment but if you put in the work, you will be prepared for the LSAT after taking this class. I walked into the June LSAT very confident and left feeling like there were no surprises and nothing I hadnt been prepared for.I ended up scoring in the 91st percentile and increased by 16 points from my first diagnostic to the actual LSAT. Take this class, you will not be disappointed.
I would highly recommend Blueprint to anyone considering LSAT prep courses. I took the class in Riverside with Johnny and Im glad I did. The class is well structured, with on emphasis on getting you ready for the test. The classes were quite informative, including tips on law school admission and some levity to make sure a 4 hour class isnt a drag. The books are great, with a ton of material and questions to use for prep. And if that isnt enough, there is plenty more on the website, including extra practice tests. The website also offers a ton of great features, including breakdowns of your score to help you improve on your weaknesses.Again, cant recommend this class enough. If you put in the time, youll see the improvements you want.
My friend (who took this prep class just last year) recommended Blueprints LSAT prep course. I ended up taking it at CSUN (summer course) and was a tad skeptical because I have always been a HORRENDOUS test-taker. However, Branden Frankel instilled so much confidence in his students from day one I knew I would benefit from this class. Branden made the class entertaining (as fun as a 4 hour LSAT preparation class can be). He has an amazing sense of humor and knows how to keep the class engaged. Branden uses his class time effectively, making sure every student is determined to conquer the sections they arent the best at. I started off HATING logic games, and now I kill those things. My score increased 16 points, so if youre even debating taking a blueprint class, dont. Take it with Branden, you wont be sorry.
If you want to take a LSAT course that gives you one-on-one attention and a thorough in class and online curriculum, this is the best you can find.My teacher in NYC was Christian who has a Teach for America background. This meant that he was very good at adapting to the particular needs of the students in our class. Sometimes that meant coming up with alternate examples of a tricky kind of problem or scenario on the fly and sometimes it meant one-on-one help. By the end of the course, he was coming 30 minutes early so he could teach a logic games mini lecture for those who wanted help with them. He tracked how well we were doing on tests and provided constant encouragement. What was also really great was that instead of giving us the answers when we reviewed problems in class, he would make us articulate why each wrong answer was wrong. This gave me the ability to really understand why I was picking or leaving answers rather than the usual Well, it was just wrong. That way of teaching really makes the lesson stick in the long-term.In regards to the course curriculum itself, I think it is really well designed. Basically you have class 2x a week and do problems in the book. Theres rigorous homework for each class and you can check the answers and review that online. There are also practice tests you take with your class (in a simulated LSAT environment) as well as about 10 you can take on your own.For me, the blueprint curriculum was more helpful for some subjects than for others. I came into the course strongest in reading comprehension so Ive seen the least improvement there. If anything, Im less likely to make stupid mistakes on a reading comprehension section, but the amounts I get right or wrong dont differ too radically. Blueprint is really great at logical reasoning and logic games. At the beginning of the course I was leery of logic games, especially once a time limit was imposed. Now Im getting perfect logic games sections on the diagnostic tests. Learning the different types of games and learning tricks for setting up rules and scenarios was invaluable for me. Likewise with logical reasoning. While there are still question types I have a lot of difficulty with, I can at least identify them and understand the stimulus and question a little better.Furthermore, the website is fantastic. It puts everything in one place - videos of the lessons (they cost extra), homework, tests, and a law school compass (you input your GPA and some basic info about the quality of your undergrad experience and rec letters and based on your test scores, it will show you your approx. chance of acceptance at schools you are interested in).
Branden is highly proficient with his understanding and teaching of the LSAT and was extremely positive and enthusiastic in the class. I had jumped over 20 points in the 2 months I was with him in his course. I highly reccomend him to anyone who is looking to study for the LSAT.
I would give Blueprint 10 stars if I could! I hoped and expected to learn a lot from my Blueprint course, but never did I imagine that I was going to truly enjoy the process. However, my instructor Matt (at the Westwood location) managed to make each and every class enjoyable. The materials provided explain everything clearly and with detail, and also use relevant examples that help make the information fun to learn and easier to remember. The online videos are incredible too! About three weeks into my course I had to return to school on the opposite side of the country, so I could no longer go to class. Instead, I watched all of the videos and didnt feel as though I missed out on anything. And, nerdy as this may seem, I think I laughed out loud during every video. I promise this is the most enjoyable LSAT class you could possibly take, and I would recommend it without hesitation!
They definitely give you the skills needed to do well and they do it in a way that will not totally bore you. Just take the course and do the homework and you will be fine. Tools that help you track progress and anticipate results and how they will impact your law school apps are a great plus.
I took the June 2014 LSAT and scored a 170 from a diagnostic score of 159. I used the Blueprint Movie, and it was fantastic. With an incredibly busy spring semester and summer planned, I found that the online videos gave me more freedom with my class schedule so I wasnt stressed out about finishing the homework before the next class if something had come up. The videos were highly entertaining, and there wasnt a single question that I felt like I didnt get an understandable answer to. Whenever I needed advice on practice tests or anything like that, Sam Fox, the instructor buddy, was readily available via email. Id encourage anyone who wants to raise their LSAT score to take Blueprint, because in addition to informative classes filled with useful techniques, they offer so many supplementary materials that I could always practice problems on trips or while waiting for class to start. Its definitely worth the investment!
I took the Spring course @ Southwestern Law School w/ Branden Frankel. He knows how to actually teach - hes engaged the entire 4 hours and knows how to address all types of questions about the Lsat material, LSAT history/reality, study strategies etc. Also, he was an actual lawyer for a little bit and knew how to make law school themed lsat examples. Commit to the homework and get a class study group and the blueprint method really works.
I studied for the October 2012 LSAT at Blueprints Philadelphia class. I had an amazing instructor (Matt Shiners) who helped all of us become skilled test takers while also making the process fun. I was working full time, taking classes part-time and studying for the LSAT. It couldve easily been the worst experience of my life, however thanks to Blueprints hilarious way of delivering content in its text and their knowledgeable instructors, going to my Blueprint class was actually the highlight of my days. I received many positive decisions from the law schools I applied to, as well as generous scholarship offers. I know that I would not have scored well enough to enjoy the success which I have in my cycle if it had not been for Blueprint. I recommend that anybody looking for the best test prep company for them enroll in Blueprint. The materials are comprehensive, the instructors are great at what they do (and my full-time job is as a teacher, so I can tell a good one) and they make you feel prepared for such an important test. The class was on UPenns campus, which is beautiful, and it was a convenient location.
I saw a 14 point improvement, putting me in the top 7% of test takers.Dan M. at Westwood is pretty much the best instructor ever...oh did I mention he scored a 180? He actually makes the material interesting and pretty funny. Most importantly though, he makes you want to challenge yourself and improve. Dan always addresses specific questions really well during class, but that doesnt stop him from giving up his time before or after class for one on one help. Hes also knowledgeable about law school and the application process in general.Although any prep course is about your willingness to work, I believe Blueprint has a superior method and instructors that make the studying part of it more manageable. The online resources are amazing. They have audio/video explanations as well as PDFs for certain questions. And dont bother buying any supplemental books or practice exams because this course comes with every LSAT question or exam ever released!Your LSAT score is the single greatest factor in the strength of your law school application. Dont mess around.
Blueprint is great and I think what puts Blueprint over the top was my instructor, Alex Connolly. Alex knows the LSAT and he can explain it, but what makes Alex stand out in my mind is his genuine concern and compassion for his students success on the test and the emotional support he provided all of us.About a month into the course, after taking about 3 practice tests, my scores werent really increasing. I had improved in some areas, but overall, I didnt feel like I was moving forward. I felt hopeless and discouraged. I trust the Blueprint method, so I attributed my plateau to my own doing. My instructor, Alex Connolly, made time outside of class to meet with me. I tried to back out of meeting with him, saying I dont want to waste your time because Im not improving and Im not sure if meeting with me is going to actually make a difference. He stayed on the phone with me for about 20-ish minutes and listened to me vent and provided some great next steps to see how, TOGETHER, we could get my score up. Problem solving with, making space for me to vent and cry and not judging me for it, and still pushing to meet with me was exactly the kind of attention and care I need to be and feel successful.Alex and I met 1-on-1 outside of class after I had a break down and he walked me through 13 logical reasons questions that I had missed on a practice test. He took his time with each question. In total, we spent about two and half to three hours going over this section. In that time, he tried to identify what exactly was my process when answering these questions to see what mistakes I kept making. He practiced with me on how to pause and digest the stimulus in order to anticipate the answer. He never made me feel stupid for not getting this very basic concept. He never seemed bored by me or that I was burdening him by asking him questions. By the end of meeting with him, I felt like it was actually possible for me to increase my score. I was motivated to study more and work harder. I took a practice test a couple days after meeting with Alex and I used the methods we practiced together and I had increased my score by 5-6 points. I am so grateful that I was able to have Alex as my instructor.
I recently took Blueprint with Humzah at the Berkeley location. Not only did Blueprint deliver on its promise of making LSAT prep fun (apparently, it really is possible), but it also thoroughly prepared me for every problem on the October 2012 LSAT.Courses run for 4 hours at a time, but they rarely ever feel that long. Blueprint does a great job of encouraging its instructors to be both knowledgeable and relatable, creating a more welcoming environment for learning and asking questions. The lessons progress at a brisk yet feasible pace; I was able to work 40 hours a week without falling behind in homework. My greatest concern in choosing an LSAT prep center was the number of past/practice exams they offered. Its one thing to do some logical reasoning problems for homework, but quite another to take the entire 4 hour exam. Blueprint offers more than 10 past exams, complete with explanations for every answer, which is more than enough to make you comfortable and even confident on the actual test date. The questions in the homework are formatted exactly like those on the LSAT as well, so that you know every question type backwards and forwards by the end of the course.I started Blueprint in July without even knowing the different sections tested in the LSAT, and took the exam that following October feeling as prepared as I would ever be. I started at a 161, and went up fifteen points to end up at a 176. I am very pleased with my score, so thank you Blueprint!!! I recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive, well-paced LSAT prep course who also enjoys a few laughs while they learn.
I took the Winter Blueprint course at CSUN with Braden and it helped me out big time. He is very knowledgable about the LSAT material and shared some of his experience from when he was in law school and what we should expect when we attend. If anyone is looking to take a prep course, I recommend Blueprint and Brandens class specifically. You will not be disappointed.
I took the prep course for the February 2013 LSAT with Colin in Manhattan. I think there are really three things that stood out about this course. First is the amount of class time you get. Ive never considered myself a good test-taker, and even less so a good studier. So for me, the more time I could spend in class mastering the concepts, the better. The amount of time you spend in class is definitely not to be taken lightly. Its a significant time commitment, especially for someone like me who was working full time. But with all that time in class spent pouring over practice question after practice question, I gained a really strong grasp of the core concepts as well as the confidence that, when the test finally came around, Id be able to replicate all that Id learned.Which leads me to the second thing that stood out, without which the first wouldnt have meant much: Colin. He was an incredible teacher who had a really impressive ability to explain concepts and ideas that were both complex and nuanced. He was always willing to stick with a question until he knew that everyone in the room understood the reasoning behind the answer, and his sense of humor and engaging style of teaching kept us interested and motivated to keep pushing through the long class sessions. And finally, the third thing that really stood out about this course were the resources. Or rather, the sheer amount of them. In addition to all the homework, practice exams, workshops, and clinics, there is an overabundance of additional practice questions and tests to help you continue to refine your skills. Which is a good thing. There were so many additional resources that I couldnt possibly get through all of them, but having them available allowed me to focus on the things that I needed to improve on without feeling like I needed to look elsewhere to get the extra practice I needed.I havent taken other courses, so I dont have the context to be able to compare Blueprint to what you might get from similar test prep programs, but I will say that I far exceeded the score target that I set for myself, and I wouldnt have been able to do it without this class. If youre willing to put in the time commitment, which is definitely a lot, its worth it in my opinion.
I thought that the Blueprint LSAT preparation course was a great starter program for me to get familiar with the exam, and start really practicing questions. Brandon Frankel, my instructor at Northridge, made the experience enjoyable and fun.
I cant say enough good things about the Blueprint LSAT course! This was my third (!) time taking the LSAT and I knew I had to really buckle down and focus. Blueprint helped me do just that. First of all, my instructor was Matt Shinners. He was amazing! He explained everything clearly and precisely and really made sure that everyone understood the material. Additionally, he was always available via email, which was really helpful when I thought of a random question in the middle of the night or got nervous about the test (which happened often). The classroom atmosphere was fun-- I really began to look forward to having class and the time went by so quickly! The Blueprint website itself was great. I had taken an LSAT course with another well-known company and Blueprint far surpassed them. The website is easy to understand and has so many tools to help you when youre studying. I really liked having so many extra practice problems available. My favorite feature was the score analysis. The website breaks down your score and shows you exactly what kinds of problems you might need additional work on.The people at Blueprint headquarters were also great. Alexa was my classroom manager and she was always available/responded promptly to all of my questions. They made everything so much easier during such a stressful time.During the course, I raised my score on practice exams 14 points! It was so exciting to see all the progress I made. If you want to be successful on the LSAT, I highly recommend Blueprint.
Improved my score dramatically. Absolutely worth the investment as the course keeps you focused, on a schedule, and prepares you well for the exam.
The best bang for your buck out there. There style and format made learning fun and understandable. Highly recommended for LSAT prep.
After I took my first practice LSAT, I was not surprised to find myself with a relatively average score of 154. Standardized tests had never been my strong suit; I knew I would have to study hard in order to achieve a 170 or above on game day. Fortunately, Blueprint gave me the tools to do just that.Over the course of five months, I used Blueprint the Movie, the Blueprint logic games book, and online tutoring to prepare for the test. Not only did the curriculum equip me to tackle every LSAT question type, but also the instructors held my attention with their hilarious, charismatic, and innovative approach to teaching. Matt Riley and Trent Teti’s videos and books are as entertaining as they are substantive, which made LSAT studying much more enjoyable than it could have been. In addition, my tutor, Elan Abrell, helped me understand logic games and boosted my confidence with reassuring pep talks. Since I did most of my studying independently, working with another person from time to time was very refreshing. Finally, Blueprint the Movie provided enough supplemental practice tests and problem sets to keep me occupied until test day, even after I finished the video course. This combination of materials and instruction prepared me to score a 173 on the real LSAT, a 19-point gain from my first practice exam. I highly recommend Blueprint if you want this kind of success!
I enjoyed taking this Blueprint class in Pasadena, CA! Everyone at Blueprint was so helpful! I appreciated the fast responses to my emails and always helping me out above and beyond with all my questions and concerns!
I was a student of Blue Print LSAT prep in-class course for the October 2012 LSAT. It was my first exposure to LSAT prep and was exactly what I was looking for. There was personal attention, which is a huge must for my learning style, and a lively classroom atmosphere. My score raised a total of 8 points after the class. (I took the LSAT twice after the class, the first time my score rose six points, then the second time, two points above that totaling an 8 point increase post-Blue Print prep).I highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for an interactive way to prepare for the LSAT without the dry and boring same old lecture. Now, I am enrolled at my first choice law school, American University WCL, to be a 1L this fall. I would not have had a chance of getting into this school if my score had not improved with the help of Blue Print.
I took the Blueprint online course to help me prepare for the February exam, and it was the best decision I couldve possibly made. After taking the LSAT once in October and receiving an abysmal score, I was extremely discouraged. I knew I would have to take it again, which sounded like an absolute nightmare. Thankfully, I discovered Blueprint and it changed everything; my score increased by 12 points! I cant imagine studying for this brutal exam any other way. Thank goodness for Blueprint!
I used Blueprints online course and I would recommend it to anyone who is studying for the lsat but due to conflicts and work travel find it hard to commit to a traditional brick and motor room. I would say that without Blueprint, I would not have been able to get into NYU Law on a fellowship. The methodology is straight forward and is easy to remember. The other beautiful thing is the coaching you receive, which is extremely helpful for putting together personal statements and learning more about the types of law schools you would be competitive at based on your GPA and lsat scores.
Im so glad I took the Spring Downtown LA Blueprint course instead of another lsat course. I was able to study where I took the actual test and had access to the facilities throughout the entire course. Also the teacher (Brendan Frankel) made everything way less boring and was always open to questions. He tried to engage the class as much as possible which totally worked for me because my score went up by 10+ points. You will become a blueprint method believer if you just pay attention to the class and actually keep up with the homework.
Branden Frankel was the best LSAT prep teacher ever. He was really funny and really motivated me to do my best.
The class was extremely helpful. Before taking the class, i knew little about the exam. However, after completion, I had a strong grasp of how to approach and answer each type of question. The instructor, David Burke, was very knowledgable and explained the answers thoroughly in class. Overall, I recommend blueprint, but be prepared to learn alot of information in a short amount of time.
I cannot recommend Blueprint enough! The curriculum broke down the test into concepts that were easy to understand and significantly improved my LSAT score.
9 reviews5.0 star rating 12/13/2017I would highly recommend Blueprint to anyone hoping to get the best score possible on the LSAT. I could not imagine studying for the test without the framework and support that Blueprint provides. I took the course at Southwestern Law School with Branden Frankel.VENUE:I absolutely loved taking the class at Southwestern. They offer free parking, library access, and gym access (not that I ever went to the gym...). The library was my favorite part because its not easy to find a quiet place to study in busy Los Angeles. Since theres free parking and security guards, you can comfortable stay as long and as late as you want. I frequently walked over to Starbucks or Alchemist to get my coffee fix. And, I enrolled to take the real LSAT at Southwestern so its a bonus that I can get comfortable with the location ahead of time.INSTRUCTOR:Branden was an awesome instructor. He was extremely comfortable with the course material and excellent at providing concrete examples. He is very approachable and willing to give advice if youre in a conundrum about taking the exam or post-poning. I have taken the course with another instructor at one point, and found Brandens teaching style easier to follow. He breaks down the concepts really well (I attribute this to his way of providing simple and funny examples).COURSE:The classroom course was crucial, but the online materials really take Blueprint to the next level. Having access to every single question released by LSAC, with each question categorized by type and difficulty level really allows you to analyze your own strength and weaknesses effortlessly. The law school compass feature is also helpful and motivating because it allows you to see where your score is in relation to the schools you would like to attend. With all that being said, note that even with the course, you WILL have to work hard to get a great score. The course and online materials are only helpful if you are actually going to class, doing all of the homework, and putting in additional practice. If you arent putting in 100% of your own effort, dont complain that you didnt get the score you wanted. I think of Blueprint as a super helpful paradigm or way of thinking about the test. The actual improvement in my score came with a lot of practice.
Ive never taken an LSAT before my attempt in June 2018. I took the BluePrint Spring 2018, and learned their methods of approaching each question type and games. Our instructor, Branden Frankel, made everything so comprehensible, and everything came second nature come test day. Hes a very knowledgeable person, and hes also a lawyer that went through the process so he knows whats up!If you have the opportunity to take BluePrint prep course, do it! Make sure to pick a course thats taught by Branden!
I took the Blueprint 3-month online course and raised my score 17 points from my diagnostic (whoop whoop)!I would definitely recommend the course for those who arent entirely keen on wasting 100+ hours on researching the best study methods/books to use for self-study. Blueprint provides a comprehensive plan of attack, and all you have to do is follow the curriculum. I did take many more practice tests than they suggested, but all were provided through the course. My one disappointment? My course manager had never actually taken the LSAT. When I called (a month before the test date) with questions about potential improvement, etc, the lack of experience with the actual test was evident, and I didnt receive many substantive answers. That said, I got was I came for, and would do it again.
