Couldn’t remember my gmail password and brought my computer over. Once I showed the guy the problem, I tried fixing it by pouring my CocaCola over the keyboard. After that I brought out my hammer and asked if it was a tab button or something. Overall, great experience and service.

They did wrong diagnosis, broke screen on iPhone 7+ while diagnosis and didn’t fix it. Promised that manager will call and solve it, but no one called. When we came back they said that they cannot help us, cs we came at wrong time. Not recommended!!!

After leaving the store, one of the owners, Mike, found out about my experience and made it his personal mission to turn it around. He, and the entire team at Spring Street Mac made a commitment to doing whatever they could to help...and they did just that.Mike and his staff were proactive and moved mountains to get my MAC repaired, even when Apple tried to make it difficult. I really appreciate the effort and time they took, and my experience went from a series of unfortunate events to extremely positive.Thank you Mike and the entire team for helping me get my MAC repaired.

My screen was damaged and I needed it repaired in 24 hours. I called Spring Street Mac and dropped it off and was able to pick it up around noon the next day. They did a great job and got it done super fast. Everyone else told me that it would be 3-5 business days!

What a friend of mine here to have her iPhone battery replaced. Promised it would be done in an hour and it was. Great experience.

I smashed my iPhone beyond what i thought was repairable and found Imtiaz who did an amazing job, really fast and for cheaper than other estimates i got. Other places have held my phone for days and charge more.I break my screen every few months, and Ill be coming back here instead of going anywhere else.

I used to live around the corner from this place and used them when my laptop screen last broke and I think a phone issue, too. Well, my other laptop broke, I tried going to a closer repair shop to my new place, and they quoted me nearly $600 for a stupidly simple fix and told me it would take up to week to complete. Spring Street Mac said no problem, well do it right now. And lets just say the cost of the repair was really affordable. These folks never let me down. I should have made the relatively short trip to them in first place.

I thought - how nice, save myself a trip to the Apple Store. Guess what, the Mac charger they sold me doesn’t work and I didn’t keep the receipt, so “there’s nothing they can do” and Apple won’t fix it either because they didn’t sell it.So yeah, spend the extra time to go to the actual Apple Store unless you want to get screwed over.

I’ve came to this service with one problem on my iPhone and left it with 2 problems.These guys do incorrect diagnostics and charge money for that. They’ve changed my battery, because they thought that the problem was because of it and broke the screen while they were changing it. But it didn’t even solve the problem which was the reason why I came there.Of course after talking to manager I got my money back. They refused to pay the bill for my new screen, because I didn’t come to fix it at their place.But to be honest, I even didn’t want to fix it at their place, because I don’t want to completely loose my phone after their service.Totally disappointed in Spring Street Mac, will never come back again.Be careful with these guys!

Im usually very skeptical of going to locations that are not Apple stores for my iPhone. However, I did not want to deal with the traffic or the insane amount of wait time so, I decided to try this location. I have an iPhone 7 that needed a screen replacement done as soon as possible. Not only do they charge the same as the Apple store but I also did not have to wait over an hour to get someone to help me. My phone was ready within an hour and a half for pick up. I plan to bring my Mac products in the future to this location. I am very satisfied!

THE COMPUTER I PURCHASED ONLY WORKED FOR 11 MONTHS...The people that work here are nice but the refurbished products they sell are faulty (BUYER BEWARE). I purchased a 15 MacBook Pro back in April 2018 for $800+tax and once the 30day warranty expired the machine started giving me problems. The computer would get extremely hot and the fan would continuously run (I was only running Microsoft Word). Finally, in March 2019 (11 mos later) the computers logic board gave out and my computer wouldnt boot up. Conveniently, the logic board is something that Spring Street Mac is unable to repair so of course, they suggest that I purchase a new machine from them. Needless to say, I will never again do business with this establishment. I thought I was purchasing a dependable machine but what they sold me was a ticking time bomb. If you are looking for a reliable computer I would recommend that you avoid shopping here unless you are into being scammed.

Spring Street Mac saved my butt. I recently spilled beer on my computer took it to them. I knew the computer was done for but I was more concerned with my data and getting back up and running. They sell used computer here so I decided to purchase one and see if theyre able to transfer my data for me. They ended up being life saver for me. I bought a used MacBook Pro Retina and when I got it from them all of my data was transferred and the new computer is running ultra smooth.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTSWorst service EVER. Was in a bind to pick up a couple of apple routers. Their prices were outrageous, 30 - 40% over retail. When I asked them about it, they said it was a convenience fee!I bought more than $400 with of parts, they said they couldnt accept CC because they needed photo verification. I showed them a picture of my ID, but they still gave me a hard time. I didnt end up using all the parts and called and asked if I could return it a week later. Manager said ok, drove half an hour there and the manager called me As i literally pulled up to the store to tell me that their return policy is 7 days and that they couldnt accept it back. Then their other manager came outside and started yelling at me and telling me that he didnt appreciate the review and that I am a Jerk!Nice job guys, keep up the good work.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS- They price gouge- poor customer service- They make up policies- Dishonest and a headache to deal with

I really wanted to like these guys. The service was good and the people were nice. The parts however were not (and thats what counts). I had my iPhone screen replaced and it stopped working 2 weeks outside of their warranty. They would not replace the dud screen without me paying for another one that theyd give me a good deal on. The original person I dealt with told me to come back if I had any problems with the parts, I didnt realize there was a 30 day limit on that service. Dont go here if you want a screen that will work consistently.

This is the worst Mac Store Ive ever been to. My Computer didnt boot so I brought it here. They told me that my HD failed, my battery fried off the logic board and that the computer needs to be replaced and that theres no way to fix it. Since i couldnt believe that, I went to another store and it turned out that only the HD was bad, everything else worked properly. So basically they just wanted me to buy a new one. when i went back to complain and wanted back the fee i paid (50 dollars) they said well we thought the repair exceeds the cost of your computer. which was clearly a lie, because when i went there in first place they said it wasnt fixable at all. Also, i cost me 200 in the end in a different store to fix my computer. They offered me Store credit for the diagnosis fee that i paid, but wouldnt pay back the money (at least until today). Do yourself a favor, and stay away from that store, and go to either an apple store or a place where you know that people are qualified.

Awesome store and very friendly and helpful people, had a problem with a charger and they helped me out right away. Fast and great service will defiantly go back. A++. Also if you need accessories quick they have it most likely in store.

They steal people’s laptops which are often how the people who trusted them make their living. They are criminals and until they give the laptop back I’m going to keep this bad review up, leave bad reviews everywhere and call them everyday.

The screen of my Mac had no image. I took it to them and got charged $100 for diagnose and “fix”. They concluded the problem was due to the operating system and rebooted the Mac. It was working when I picked it up but failed again 2 days after. Due to the wrong diagnosis, I’m requesting a reimbursment but my emails are being ignored. I am back in Europe and unable to go to their store. I feel they are taking advantage of this situation. I want my money back.

I couldnt remember my Gmail password, and asked if it was a tab button or something. They told me to pour soft drink over my laptop and hit it gently with a hammer, so I did, and now my laptop can travel through time. 10/10

I went for a screen replacement and they did fix my phone, for a “decent” price. But Honestly, only come here for a SUPERRRR emergency because they use the cheapest parts possible and overcharge for them. My phone screen was cracked and when I got it back, it did not have cracks but the screen was super sensitive and reacting to everything, even lint. I most likely will never bring anything here again. I do not recommend to anyone. I called about this issue and the rep said “it wasn’t me that fixed it” and with attitude. Bad business.

These guys have no idea whats going on. Called for a simple volume fix and the guy couldnt give me a quote estimate because he said its not a specific part they had & that they would need to diagnose the problem. Called another shop and they easily quoted and repaired at a reasonable price. Beware of the non refundable diagnostic fee even if you already know what the problem is

Ive always had a great experience fixing my mac and iPhone at Spring Street in downtown LA. They did a perfect job repairing a broken screen and a switch that stopped working on my iPhone and another time I needed to bring in my MacBook Air since it was running slow they did a fantastic job getting it back up to speed. Definitely recommend these guys.

Had my battery for my iPhone 5s changed here, and literally after one month my battery dies after at 67%. So now I have to pay for a new battery because it was out of their warranty. WTFO? Don’t bring your apple products here you will get ripped off by these pirates!

Thank god for this place. I was in a major bind. My iPhone broke and I had to leave for a flight within an hour window. I brought my iPhone to Spring Street Mac and they fixed it within 30 mins for me. My phone is like new again.

I brought my Mac Pro book in for a cracked screen. When it was time to pick it up they told me they had to switch the screen out due to malfunction. Once the computer was ready I found that my laptop had issues ever since they repaired it. Two months later my screen went completely black and doesnt work

Stopped in this place several times for iphone repairs & accessories. Staff is knowledgeable on just about everything Apple related. With a neighborhood store like this, no need to go to the Apple store and wait in line.

Sells fake products for over MSRP price. Real product on the right, fake one they sell on the left. Do not trust them.EDIT:Called in to ask for a return on their fake product, they gave me an excuse that they do not put Apple logos on their products, and that they let customers know they sell aftermarket product. You can obviously tell they are lying due to the very clear Apple logo on their charger.On top of it all, their charger sucks and barely connects and they have the audacity to charge $100 for it.They said they are sorry. Good joke.Reporting them to Apple.EDIT:Owner called me back and lied through his teeth and said their products are real Apple products, after I threatened to (and did) report them to Apple counterfeit department. This is right after one of his employees tell me that they sell aftermarket products with no Apple logos.I asked for a refund, and all he offered me was an exchange for what is likely an equally terrible product.As a fellow business owner in DTLA, Im pretty ashamed at your low level of integrity in your business.

Super helpful and friendly! I went to the Apple Store in Sherman Oaks twice, they told me my iPad could not be fixed and recommended to replace my iPad 2 for $249. The guys at the Spring Street Mac hard reset it for me in minutes. This is the place for all my Mac stuff from now on!

Called about some information on getting a MacBook repaired asked for the procedure at which they would do he kept giving me a smart answer that was kind of rude and then told me a bit outlandish price on what it would cost to remove the stripped screw

I bought a MacBook Air Charger from these guys. This was a terrible decision for a couple reasons.1. It cost more than the Apple Store charges.2. When I used it on my computer, the battery did not charge at all even though the light on the charger went on3. After an hour or two, the battery indicated a problem, I saw a Service Battery warning on my macbook.4. When I checked this out at the Apple Store, I ended up having to change my battery completely for $129.In essence, this poor product being sold by Spring Street Mac cost almost $200 unnecessarily.I do not recommend this store to anyone.

FIND ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP.So firstly I brought in my iPhone 5 in for a repair because my glass shattered (thats it) aside from that the phone is in perfect condition I was initially quoted a price but because of poor time management on my behalf I had to reschedule I couldnt leave my phone behind for an hour as its needed for work so I go back in later and not only has the price changed drastically but its also going to take longer he quoted me an hour then later a hour thirty ; No big deal, right? I pick up my phone and the screen they replaced my old screen with was an older model screen (according to the Apple Store I found out later) I asked for my screen to be replace with the proper screen because it had a blue-ish tint and it wasnt as bright as I know retina screens are and my apps looked pixlated. Allegedly they replaced it but I couldnt tell the difference and after expressing that to the manager I was asked in a nonchalant tone what do you want me to do about? He goes on to say we can refund you your money put the broken screen back on and just charge you labor fees. The customer service was lousy, its over priced, and theyre extremely pushy and money hungry. I feel like if business is bad to the point that theyre swindling people for their hard earned money they should do us all a favor and close down!!STAY AWAY AT ALL COST FIGURATIVELY AND LITERALLY

They salvaged the hard drive and memory from my tea-soaked MacBook and replanted it in a refurbished like-new MacBook that was actually a year younger & faster than the one I killed, and had me back in business within a couple of hours for just a few hundred dollars. So they know what they are doing, they do it for a great price, and they do it in a timely manner.They are also honest. I brought an armload of old Apple hardware to them for recycling, and they actually paid me for one item, and encouraged me to try selling another one, saying I might get a better price for it elsewhere than they were willing to pay. With a little convenient dishonesty, they could have taken ALL my stuff to recycle and I would never have guessed. I had already done a little research and thought it was all junk. (And I do hope they earn something for their recycling efforts!)They do more than repairs, recycling, and accessory sales: they do custom laser-etching on aluminum and other metal surfaces, usually MacBooks and metal iPhones! Im not in the market for a new MacBook yet, but when I am, I will seriously consider having my company logo elegantly & permanently etched into its lid. Infinitely more classy (and secure) than the stickers I use now.This is now my go-to Mac service shop.

Got my battery changed, had to come back the next day for replacement. That worked but both screws fell out from the bottom of the phone after a month. Do not reccomend.
