This past week has been the second time I have had Dan work on my computers. The first was an older computer that was starting to slow down, freeze, etc. When he finished with it, I got nearly another 3 years out of it, working as well as when it was new. I am a bit of an introvert and not always comfortable with new people in my house, but I felt quite at ease and comfortable with Dans friendly, easy-going style.This month I finally, needed to get a new desktop because I was still using Windows 7 (!!!) and there was just too much I couldnt do online anymore. I called Dan, as I was considering what features I needed for my interests and work needs. He was generous with his time and answered all my concerns. This week, he came by to transfer all my files from the old computer to the new & answer my many questions. Because I tend to be on the tech-light spectrum in this field, I am really happy to have Dan as a resource. His patient explanations allowed me to make informed decisions about options I needed, wanted or did not want. He is extremely professional, reliable, (called me back within an hour of my message, shows up when agreed upon) extremely knowledgeable and efficient in his work. Most important - I find him very trustworthy. Its like finding a great car mechanic who also has very reasonable rates! He is a gem. Thanks, Dan!

Dan was wonderful. He came over to my apt to work on my laptop and also bought a external hard drive for me. Dan has great customer service he came back 3x to my apt until my laptop was fixed. Great service! Dan is truly an expert and reasonably priced. I had an old laptop lying around for a couple years. I decided it was time to transfer the files off and recycle it, but I couldnt even get it to start up. I did some googling and spent a few hours trying possible fixes myself, but eventually I decided to save myself from further frustration by calling the West LA Computer Expert. Im very glad I did. I left my laptop with Dan and in 2 hours, he had transferred all the files off onto a drive for me. He gave me all sorts of handy tips as well. I transferred the files from the drive to my current computer. Then a couple days later I texted him the go-ahead, so he wiped my old laptop and dropped it off for recycling. What a relief!

My Dell Inspirion laptop crashed in the middle of an important Zoom call. I found Dan, who is the owner of WestLA Computer Expert on Yelp and he suggested that I bring my computer in to his office immediately. I called Dan out of the blue from a google ad, not expecting much. I am a tech and computer person and i do most of the support for my family and close friends. it is a rare day that i have to call anyone for computer help. If i do, it is usually for hardware related issues. So the first time i had a mini emergency, i gave Dan a call. He picked up on the first ring and asked for my address and literally showed up 10 minutes later. He was quiet and soft spoken. Asked for the details of the problem. listened, gave me a quick answer, got on the computer and solved it. charged me a super reasonable fee and then quietly left. He called me the next day to check up and this impossible problem, i had, he solved in 10 min. Money well spent and highly recommend his services.

Dan provided me with invaluable help after the hard drive failed in my desk top. He was able to access my valuable documents and pictures and transfer them onto a thumb drive. I would highly recommend him for any and all computer problems you may have.

Had a desktop that was giving me an unsolvable blue screen upon startup and I called Dan. He was able to solve the issue in under an hour and even cleaned up the machine to make it run smoother. I had just purchased way too much money in computer parts and ran into an issue putting it together. I thought I had shorted a few of my parts after plugging the power supply in. This is where I called Dan and he was able to give me help over the phone before I scheduled to meet with him only a couple days later. Dan fixed my problem within the first 5 minutes of being here!
