Helped me out with my stuck power seat on drivers side. Good price, but he doesnt work on many cars. Not ford certified, but smaller issues, hes good. No engine work, mostly electrical stuff.

TL;DRHugo is trustworthy, kind, does a great job and informs the car owner about what is happening as he does his job.Hugo is great! I have been to and talked to plenty of mechanics and Hugo is on a different level. I am on a budget and my car misfired. a bunch of other places wanted to charge me more and they didnt really explain to me what could be going wrong, Hugo explained it perfectly. He also did some basic things for free that helped my car stop making a rattling noise. He showed me what was wrong with my car and I really trust him! I will be going back and telling all my friends about him.

For 2 weeks, no one else could fix my lexuss electrical problem. Sensors constantly showingHugo fixed it in less than 2 hours(on a busy Saturday 1/28/2017) for a great price. Even taking time to talk to me, explain problem and clean my engine a bit. Absolutely great service - highly recommended

So I found out the hard way that I am not an Auto Electrician specialist.. I tried to wire some LED tail lights to my 94 Lexus and end up burning out a fuse and a brake light modulator.. I tried to cut a few corners and save some money.. But failed miserably.. I called Hugo first thing Monday and brought my car down and he not only wired all the LED lights correctly but added my reverse light bulbs gave me a new fuse and somehow miraculously fixed my brake light modulator.. All within 1.5 hours. Please keep in mind that Hugo is a multitasker.. So he may answer three or four phone calls while working on your car.. And also he starts his workday at 9:30 a.m. not 8 a.m. like Google says.. Highly recommend. You can get a lot done at this place for $75

Hugo was honest up front with cost to troubleshoot a problem with my car for not starting. After towing my car to Hugos, (and having a roadside serviceman tell me its the alarm and not my battery and a phone technician tell me its the starter) in a few minutes hugo had my car running but opted to leave my car for further diagnostics. If additional things need fixing related to the car not starting, Hugo made sure that I understood the cost variables that I could choose based on my budget so he didnt charge me up front to fix and diagnose related issues. My car is in Hugos shop still but I already feel taken cared of. Ill rate again once I get my car back.

I have been using another mechanic in Hollywood with a good reputation for about a dozen years, but when my tail-lights and dashboard light went out, he told me it wasnt worth fixing because it would run $1000 or more. When I bought my vehicle from the previous owner 7 years ago, hed mentioned hed had electrical issues with the alarm and had to de-activate the horn in order to eliminate the alarm problems after multiple repair attempts elsewhere.I brought the 94 Nissan Pathfinder to Hugos, and he repaired ALL these problems without having to replace the whole dashboard assembly; it had been a switch in the steering column that had failed. He removed the alarm and got the horn working for the first time since Id gotten the car. Total cost was very reasonable; around $165. There was also a problematic switch in the transmission for the backup lights, and he offered to refer me to a transmission guy for that. (I had another mechanic fix this, but Hugos had told me exactly what needed to be fixed, which helped)The mechanic at Hugos was exceptionally accommodating too, staying late a couple of times for me. I cant say enough good things about this shop.
