Lived 1BR at the Glendon for a year(no pet, no kid, single living). It was quite nice memory but it was ruined with moving-out charges at the end. The leasing office charged me USD 555. For the detail- Carpet cleaning 75, full unit painting 320, full cleaning unit 160. I fully cleaned the whole unit and there were no single scratch or nail print. (Photos were taken on my moving out day)When I vacated the room, the admin officer agreed that condition of room is super clean, mint and it does not need full painting. He told me I will be charged painting only for a year because full painting charges(USD 320) is usually for five years. What is more, when I signed the lease contract, my leasing manager told me moving-out charges will be only about 100-150. Whatever, they charged me unit painting for the full amount at the end without further negotiation.For a month, I have claimed, contacted and called the leasing office for several times to discuss such improper charges but failed to get any answers.Be careful when you moving out this apartment. They will charge you a lot and will not return the full deposit amount regardless of normal wear and tear of the unit.

We rented this apartment through Bedford Corporate Housing for a week to move our daughter into her dorm at UCLA. We thought the apartment was very nice. It would be hard to find a more perfect location for a visit to the campus. In addition to being close to campus, there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything seemed great with this place until I moved out. They try to screw you out of as much money as possible. I lived here for 6 months which was my full lease, and when I moved out, we had nothing but the base charges that everyone gets which included paint, carpet cleaning, and cleaning fees. Those added up to be almost double our security deposit! Our apartment was left in great condition!!! On top of that they also messed up on many other things that I will not go into detail about in order to keep my anonymity, costing me lots of money on top of the base fees that they charge everyone upon moving out. Great building, but horrible management.

DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS APARTMENT. THEY MAKE CHANGES TO AGREEMENT WITHOUT NOTICING YOU AND CHARGE YOU AFTER MOVED OUT FOR EXTRA MONTHS.Former residents moved out in August 2020 due to the reason of CVOID19. When we finished signing the lease break agreement, weve heard from their manager that the early termination fee (equal to one month rent $3,395) would be posted on our resident account, and it didnt post till our account was closed. Amazingly, this January, we received a ridiculous outstanding balance that said we owe the apartment $15,500+ without any previous notifications. We contacted the office several times, after we explained the situation, they promised to re-calculate the new balance according to our lease break agreement. (We had their voice records) But one week until we contacted them again, they denied any changes to the balance and didnt let us talk to their supervisors.

Avoid this place! This is the first apartment give me a feeling of nausea since I have stayed in US for 7 years.The management team of this apartment is just horrible. Due to Covid we had to move out in Aug and sign a break-lease agreement to pay one month for the lease break fee. When we handed in the notice, we were told that the charge would be post to our account. until our account got closed, they never post charge or any email or noti. Instead, they send us a $15000+ bill saying we should pay 3 months rent plus another lease break fee. We contacted them many times regarding to this and firstly they promised to re-calculate a new bill, and then they have been in silence. Just now until I called their manager, he said this was the final decision from their senior leader and he cannot change anything and not allowed to talk to their senior leader. Again, no notice or inform, they just wait until too late and push the responsibility to you.

Lived here for a year in a 1BR. Honestly some of the nicest apartments with good people - mostly families I’d say. Quiet, pretty views of courtyards with a constant water sound, good gym+pool. Location is great, next to Trader Joe’s and Target, as well as a bunch of other places.Management changed in mid-2019 to Douglas Emmett for the better. Good people working onsite, easy to pay rent online, and overall good experience.I didn’t want to move out, to be honest.

One day someone keyed my car and I asked to Isaac the manager to take a look to camera recordings. Do you know what he said? Theres no cameras, even though there is. How much is a camera man? Its 2020? $30? $50? Go put 5 of them $150 one time expense. Even with my $6000 deposit that youve held you can fix those.Dont rent here guys. I stayed in my sisters apartment during my medical seminar at UCLA and I hated this building, its so boring./// Im glad that wewe moved out.

The Glendon has new management as of a few weeks ago, and they are amazing! Filippo from the leasing office went completely above and beyond for us when we were moving in. We are so grateful for him and the rest of the team!Our unit is spacious and modern, and the complex has the best amenities we could find in the area.

At Bedford Corporate Housing, The Glendon is one of our most popular locations for our clients looking for a fully-furnished short-term lease apartment. The majority of our clients are very satisfied with the property and is in the very best location in Westwood. We have our own management team to make sure any requests will be taken care of by ourselves or will coordinate with the buildings Maintenance team if there is a more extensive repair so that it is completed promptly. My experience has been nothing but helpful with management and have gone out of their way to make sure that all me and my clients needs are met within a reasonable time.

The newest management team has done a poor job of maintaining the property and communicating with residents. There is trash in the lobbies, doors are broken, and the office doesn’t answer the phone anymore. Their maintenance communications are limited to notes on doors less than 24 hours before entry. The fire alarm testing is just the latest example of this. We were NOT told there would be planned power outages on work days. We were NOT given a testing and maintenance entry schedule so we could plan our days and pet care appropriately. Additionally, issues with parking are worse than ever. New management doesn’t tow cars parked in reserved, paid for spots?Units are also insanely overpriced. I could live in Beverly Hills for cheaper.Parking gate guards are really nice people, but that’s about it.

Dont be fooled by the appareance. Although pretty, the management of this complex has been horrible no matter which company takes over. They obviously try to accomodate a specific type of clientelle but its also pretty obvious that they keep overspending and cover up for it by taking more money. Ie. Instead of a carpet cleaning theyll replace the carpet everytime and take more than 1000 of deposit for normal wear and tear.

DO NOT RENT FROM GLENDON APARTMENTS.Me and my roommate found an apartment through Glendons website and subsequently asked to be shown the apartment. The Glendon said a tenant was still living there but that we could see their model unit, which they guaranteed had exactly the same floor plan and finishes. We signed the contract (we were provided pictures as well of the unit) and asked to be shown the apartment before we moved in. The Glendon still refused even though the tenant had moved out. On the move in day they gave us a completely different apartment, which hadnt been renovated probably since the late 80:s. After we threatened with legal action we eventually got part of our money back and moved out immediately, but they still has not paid our incidentals. A few days later they put out the same apartment with the same pictures of A COMPLETELY RENOVATED unit. False advertisement and bait and switch practices. Do not rent from here. Period.

I have been a leasing at Glendon Apartments for some time now. The Glendon is the place to be! The rent is very reasonable for what I am getting and the location and bldg are like no other!How amazing is it to be able to walk to so many shops, markets and restaurants, just minutes from my apartment.Also, I find the staff at the Glendon are outstanding. They are always super friendly and helpful. The management and leasing office staff have an open door policy, and are always ready to assist with anything I need. They even go over and beyond to assist from the Property Manager, Isaac, Assistant Manger, Adam, leasing executives, Felippo, Giovanni and Milica and their Accounts Rep, Gonzalo, - All are always super helpful, supportive and clearly driven to assist residents with any requests.Also, I must recognize their highly skilled maintenance staff, Caesar, Ryan, Pablo and Chris - All so helpful and handle work orders most professionally, skillfully and do so with a smile.There is clearly a strong sense of positivity and camaraderie from the moment I walk in the office - the staff exudes of a can do approach and it comes out every time I come there. Thank you for this.Regarding the apartment itself, the beautiful kitchen, with amazing caesar stone counters and fancy finishes makes me feel so excited and comfortable. The apartment overall is very high end. The bathrooms are super fancy and all the modern back lights are so helpful. The hard surface flooring is new and very modern - my stainless steel appliances are the best, as well as high end in-unit washer and dryer.Also, the bldg is amazing and the amenities are unbelievable - Trader Joes market in the bldg, Rite-Aide Pharmacy as well - Also It comes with security/gated parking, an unbelievable spa/fitness center - The outdoor pool and indoor Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room with showers and lockers(mens and womens) are so nice and they have a beautiful lounge area with a Fire Pit.I feel very proud, safe and always taken care of at The Glendon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale, fun place to live!Rob

All the great reviews are from when the building was under a different management. The new management (Avenue5) has serious issues. They are the most arrogant, rude and unresponsive. The building is not well maintained anymore. There is garbage everywhere. If you care about cleanliness and getting treated with respect, for the price you pay to live here, I would not recommend this property.

Stayed with a family member for 10 days and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had traveling. Management was completely useless and left us with no air conditioning for the entire trip (during a heat wave). We called and went to the office to speak with them about fixing it but they never did. They promised us a portable A/C unit but didnt deliver. The hallway on the floor we were on also smelled like garbage and apparently always has. I give it 1 star for its location and property architecture.

I resided at Glendon for one week and it was a bad experience. The Appartment wasn’t clean after the previous tenant. My family and I are allergic to dogs. The hair of the dogs were every where in the unit. They sent me a Kwaiti guy because I’m Arabic. He was laying all the time to convince me about the unit. I don’t recommend them at all. Nor quarter of a star.

This company is not respected at all, I was walking in the street Someone came to me from no where and ask me questions about the apartment and she was filming me without my permission .. when i asked her if she was recording a vid with my face she said yes and the company asked her so shes not goinig to delete it!!!! I asked her again and she refuced to delete anything!! There is no respect for our privacy in here! Thats so Rude!

The lease office is terrible at their job. My gate remotes battery was dead and they refused to give me another or replace them because its a key per lease and they gave me no solution but to wait for their manager who was allegedly going to be available in one hour after waiting a while they decided to fix the problem. Its a good property with bad staff, what a shame for them to have such a location and such a staff.

Thy are not onest they didnt return the deposit completed,thy cut more than $700I gave them the apartment very clean, be carefulI followed them many times by phone they ignore my claim, they know that I live in another country, so they dont care, if they answered you, you will find a large newspaper with small letters, so its better to forget your moneyYou must be careful.

Management overcharges on rent when you move out and tries to steal your deposit even when you follow the process. Renters beware!! These people swindle you with every opportunity in hopes that you are not double checking them.In my case, they are billing me for 2.5 weeks after i moved out and my lease expired with the proper intent to vacate notice.

I’m writing my feedback on this property in both Arabic and English to make it easy for people who speak either language: my impression about housing in both Arabic and English to make it easier for you before making the decision to live herethe copy and scanner machine is always down. very rare to find the copy machine working. papers are not there unless you beg to have it from the leasing office.3 computers ONLY for over 250 apartments in the complex, and 2 out of 3 are down as well alternatively.poor maintenancehallways always smells gross.fake fire alarms, that can ring at 2 am and continue for 3 hours, with no response. even when we reported that, the management react was “we APOLOGIZE” !!!!!!!!Save your $$$ and time, and don’t get tricked with the nice architecture and convenient location because you’ll have hard time.Maintenance is poor and it smells bad in the corridors, although the perfume is sprinkled and it will disappear after an hourGas leak inside the apartmentThe alarm rang after 12 am without a reasonComputers and photocopiers are constantly down and not repaired for more than two weeksManagement is bad, bad, badDont be fooled by the beauty of the building and its location, the rent is high and the services are poor
