My daughters pandemic summer was truly saved by a virtual poetry workshop with Green Ivy. No surprise there -- you cant find a more thoughtful or professional team of educators around. Founder Ana Homayoun has written several books on what kids face as learners of all stripes, and her work is always evolving, as I raptly follow in her regular advice and commentary in the NY Times and Washington Post. Very very lucky to have has her wisdom shape our familys relationship to social media, executive functioning and more. Not that my kid knows that -- she just knows her poetry class was a godsend.
