Longwood Events team was amazing in helping us with changes due to the pandemic. I was due to get married back in April and had it postponed. A lot had to be changed we went from a venue having 150 guest to a rented private home with a big yard for a tent. Only inviting our immediate family 60 guest and enjoying 4th of July . The first desk ladies were amazing leading up to our wedding in April and even after especially with all of the day of last minute stuff. They took a ton of anxiety and stress off of me so we could enjoy our special day. I would highly recommend there services for anyone getting married. They take your ideas and put it all together in a matter of mins. Thank you Longwood Events for making my day special and working with me through it all.
I searched high and low looking for the perfect, yet, affordable charger plate for our Bridle Oaks wedding reception dinner. I wanted something unique and elegant to fit our overall vision. Our wedding coordinators, Everlasting Events, found the perfect vintage option at Longwood Events and Weddings / Longwood Events Decor and Floral. We were thrilled to rent their Vintage Acrylic Charger Plates. They offer them in silver and gold also--we chose champagne. These special plates added exactly the sophisticated touch we were wanting for our rustic barn wedding! Perfection! Thank you!
Visited the young lady was very polite. They have beautiful decor for events not all items are on the cleanly side.Very busy somewhat unorganized.It took a while before helped.Sometimes i believe people forget how they made it up the mountain with Gods grace and mercy.The pricing i beleive was over rated was looking to rent for a venue practiculy around the corner 7 min away bk drop, chair,$780 & up.I was referred and just couldnt believe the pricing .

I was shocked at how spectacular their decor came out to be. Of course we all get that feeling of what if something goes wrong the day of, or will they ruin my special day. The staff was excellent as well. My decor planning was nice and smooth, stress free. The wedding was awesome. They really take all the stress off of you the day of, I didnt have to be there to correct anything or watch to see if the job will be done. My planner said they were on time and worked pretty quick and organized. All the details was placed as we discussed. Thank you so much Longwood Events, just cant say it enough.

They did a great job decorating my wedding I am so happy with their services and they are very reasonably priced and attentive. The only draw back is if youre uncertain about the number of rentals you need, beware there are NO refunds if you reserve and actually need less than ordered. Other than that everything was up to standard and the staff was very easy to work with and setting up my payments, etc. Thank you Longwood Events!
Longwood events worked with me to give me multiple quotes when I wasnt sure what I wanted, and then they were very flexible when I kept changing the ideas and time. Someone from the company called me a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was squared away and that we both had the same information.They deliver, set-up, and then tear down and pick up. It was such a huge help. I would high recommended this company for all my friends and family, thank again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone how is looking for a full service company . I love love ... my flowers, you guys rock my day.

I am so grateful to the staff at Longwood Events & Rentals for the work they did on my wedding flowers and decorations. They provided the personal flowers, ceremony flowers, ceremony arch, flowers for the table centerpieces, pipe and drape for our photo booth, and some roman columns. I had received some quotes from other florists that were super high, and by the time I came to this company I basically said here is the absolute maximum that I can pay for flowers including set up, delivery, and taxes...is there any way you can work with me on this? And they absolutely did. They gave me tons of ideas that stayed within my budget, and they offered very helpful advice about what I could do to keep costs low while maintaining my theme and vision. They were super flexible every time I made a change to the order. On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time to set up. They gave me some extra boutonnieres which actually helped because the groomsmen were being groomsmen and messed up some of theirs. I give this entire team 5 stars for their flexibility, willingness to work with me on a tight budget, and promptness in responding to requests.

Had my daughters sweet 16 at this venue. It turned out amazing. We were treated with amazing attention every step of the way, all the way until conclusion. Even when we experienced a setback during the event, it was handled quickly. Will definitely recommend this space for events and would definitely use again
Our experience with Longwood was very positive! We ordered chairs and draping from them and both were beautiful. Everything arrived on time, in good condition, and professionally handled. There was a moment a week before the wedding where it looked like we would have to do additional last minute rentals, and Longwood was incredibly helpful and responsive to the emergency. It turned out when didnt go that route, but they were ready and willing to help us in anyway possible and that really meant a lot that they jumped in to help so quickly.
It was just terrible. I do not recommend this place. It mite not be the owner but the lady who works there “Susan” taking care of costumers is rude. You need to make sure what you sign and read everything. They won’t tell you the context part. She Staples a contract under your receipt to catch you if you ever cancel for a miss inconvenience they will keep your money. Thank God I did not sign that contract. I was able to receive my money, had to fight it, but got it at the end but with a nasty attitude they gave it back for canceling before 24 hours of renting. I only wanted to cancel one thing out of 23 items and got upset and canceled me the whole order. She had a lot to say about how I looked too. She wanted to know my age, then called me old, that she looks younger than me. I’m like “seriously” I’m here to rent for your business and you have time to tell me your personal opinion on how I look? I personally don’t recommend this place.

Amazing place. Crew was super helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend having your event decor come from this place. To start off I loved the fact that you could walk in a showroom and they assist you with what you want and need for your special day. Sandy and Susan help me put everything together and made it easy for me from begin to the end. I could tell you I walked in not knowing what to expect due to some of these reviews but my god they were absolutely amazing. Prices were within my budget, cant wait to see my photos from the photographer. Best part is you see the set up before your event day, which makes it easier for you to know how it will look. I could go on about this place, they truly made my special day memorable. Will be using you guys for my future baby shower hahaha! Thank you so much Longwood Events!

Susan and Omar of Longwood Wedding Events are fantastic. They were both awesome from our first contact with them and let us know that everything would turn out just as we wanted. We had a big to do list for them and they executed flawlessly. The church ceremony was decorated just as we wanted and the flowers were delivered to our hotel on time for pictures. The reception venue was magically decorated beyond what we envisioned. Our wedding was everything we could ask for.Thank You so much for all the hard work that has given us lifetime memories.

They did way more than I expected and I am very grateful for the owners and staff. This company will handle the entire event. Longwood Events helped make my wedding more memorable then I could have imagined. They helped create the most beautiful room, floral and visual effects for our space. I am very disappointed. It was a nightmare. I sent my niece to rent a chair over the phone, we explained to her what it was, the name, color and size. The lady told us it was available. My niece did the payment over the phone. The day of pick up, they give us another item that was not what we wanted. She was very aggressive about the item she gave us was right. Because it was my daughter 15 that day I had no choice but to take it because the chair we wanted they didn’t have it that day. I was super disappointed. Very unprofessional. Please be aware and make sure you have proof, they will switch it on you. I got an item that was no way near the price rental I would have put for that.
Susan and her crew did an amazing job decorating my wedding venue on Friday March 20, 2015 and my reception venue on Saturday March 21, 2015. She is very easy to work and communicate with. I never felt like I was a bother, they were very easy going as I continuously make changes and additions for the two day event. Each event had its own color scheme and its own theme. I was highly impressed by Longwood events, as I walked in the venues on both days, I felt as though it looked better than I could have even imagined. I received many compliments on the décor and would highly recommend Longwood Events to anyone planning an event.

W O W ! ! ! Longwood Events tailored our entire wedding from the ceremony, to the reception, …beyond anything we could have imagined. We (and based on all the astonished comments from our invites the days after) were thoroughly amazed by all the flowers, details, food, drinks, music and incredible service. Susan is busy, but she always made time for us and really paid attention to the little details we had in mind — and always with a caring smile. Her husband Omar made sure the party was properly attended to from beginning to end and that all our guests were made to feel special.You will not be disappointed …and neither will your guests!
We used Longwood events and rentals. Lets just say they are perfect. My wedding was more than I could of ever asked for. Susan and her team did all of my decor and flowers for my reception. I was HIGHLY SATISFIED AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
Great company. You have a customer for life. I was a nervous wreck planning my wedding and they made sure you dont have to worry about the rentals. Called in and told them what I wanted, paid online and they delivered. Even accommodated when I had to add some stuff last minute. All the chairs, tables and flowers were very clean, they dropped them off without me even being there. And they sent me pics so I could see. Really appreciate everything, thank you!
Very disappointed. I ordered 4 tall round cocktail tables with amber lighting. The tables were slightly off in size, table clothes were stained and the light did not fit under the table. Delivery was a sloppy set up as well. Linens were not properly put on and appeared crooked. When I called with my concerns the lady I spoke with was defensive. She said she saw the stains and thought it wasnt a big deal. She offered to drop some off. I asked if she can check the linen prior so we dont run into the same problem. She said no because she would have to strech it out to see and thats to hard for her to do. Total amateur hour and unprofessional. For over $300 for 4 tables to rent they should really be up to par with their material.
We contracted Longwood Events to coordinate our wedding this March. It was the best decision weve made. Jolene the secretary was such a love to work with. She was always sweet and quick to answer any questions when I called and she always answered any of my emails within a few short hours. Susan is busy but I was always able to speak to her whenever I needed her. I told Susan my ideas and she made them into a reality and beyond anything I could have dreamed.. I still have friends and family calling to tell me that my wedding was the prettiest wedding they have ever been too. Susan is also very familiar with local professionals in our area that are in the wedding business i.e. photographers, photo booths, horse-drawn carriages, etc and everyone that she referred to me was top-of-the-line and I was very happy with all of their work -- All you have to do is just tell Susan what you want and she makes it happen. Her caterer is exceptional and every single plate at my wedding was wiped clean. Her staff was very professional, clean-cut, and very pleasant to my guest. They worked rain or shine on my wedding day and were always pleasant. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Longwood Events. They are in the business of making dreams come true!-Grace

To whom it may concern:After discussing with my fiancé the way we have been treated in the last 2 days we will not be doing business with your company.Yesterday I spoke with Julie who explained that her entire staff had made errors and misquoted me on the previous 9 quotes. Each quote I requested has had an error on it. Either the address was incorrect, the amount of items was off or the prices for items changed from quote to quote. It is two weeks before my wedding and when I asked how do I pay, a new $89 delivery fee was added that was never disclosed or discussed. What upsets me is not the amount of money, but the callous way I was talked to. It seems that Julie was unhappy with the low prices I was quoted and in order to recoup some of the revenue created a delivery fee to offset the loss.When I called yesterday to discuss, I agreed that it was reasonable to charge a fee, but since it was never disclosed on any of the previous estimates I felt it was a new charge added out of spite and not logic. During the conversation Julie said she was going to speak with the manager and put me on hold. She returned and said “The manager said the fee is $89 you can either pay it or you can find someone else to work with this time.” At that point I started to speak but was hung up on. When I called back to speak with the manager, Julie answered and told me she was the manager. I asked her who she spoke to when she put me on hold and she said she talked to herself…Again I explained that the lack of customer service, incorrect billing and constant back and forth was becoming more trouble than it was worth. Julie explained “Nothing in this world is free.” And then shared I could pick up and drop off for free. But I would have to return the items immediately after the wedding. When I shared that we would be done about 2-3am she said “Well you have to bring them back that night because I sold them Sunday.”This lack of customer service and rude behavior may be normal for your company, but can assure you it is not normal in my world.I appreciate you looking into this, if not for me, but to help avoid issues like this for future brides. If someone asks for a quote, the full quote should be given at that time. I shared from day 1 my pick-up and delivery location. If that was a mistake on your end and missed we could have discussed it civilly. At no point did Julie apologize for the misquote or rude treatment. Hidden last minute fees only make people untrusting of the company and create a lot of undue frustration over $89.
I have recently been using Longwood Events Rentals for event chairs, tables, flowers and full décor for my wedding Day . The staff is always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The priceis very reasonable as well. Thank you so much to Longwood Events and staff to make my day special .Wow, amazing !! So friendly, so helpful, so awesome!!!! Far exceeded my expectations!
Would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I chose this place tondo the deco for our wedding. We paid for centerpieces that did not have all of the floral we requested. The decorator showed up 2 hrs later than the time she told us and caused a domino effect. She had all the bridal bouquets and because she was late, we were 2 hrs late to do photos and had to cut our photo time to make it back for the ceremony. We also paid for a party bus that sat in the parking lot of our venue fors 2 hrs not doing anything because we could not leave to do pictures until we got our bouquets. When we first booked decor, we were told that if i provided brooches, they would put them in the bridal party bouquets. When our flowers showed up, susan, who we were working with, acted like she knew nothing about the brooches. I have since called to complain and ask for the brooches that I paid for and have not received them. We also did not receive our toss bouquet which was also in the package i paid for. We were told someone would call is back and we have yet to hear from this place...would never recommended.

DO NOT USE THEM if you want your wedding to go right!!

Great place to rent all your event decor...
Had a Gobo for a recent wedding. The gobo was misplaced and it was very out of focused. Tried to contact them 3-4 times and have not heard back and its been over 2 weeks. The person I talked to tried to say it was our fault for ordering the wrong gobo disc, but we ordered directly from the website Longwood gave us. We even handed the disc to them 3 weeks prior to the wedding without them mentioning anything about it being the wrong size. Basically wasted $150 for a gobo that was not seen and could have been prevented if they were to communicate better.

I booked Longwood Events on July 28th, 2014 for my 15th anniversary vow renewal on April 4th, 2015. I paid the deposit the day I signed the contract the remainder was to be paid 30 days before the event. This past Monday February 23rd I called to book the final meeting with Susan Furniel to finalize everything and pay what was owed. The assistant Jolene advised me that she could schedule me for Saturday February 28th but that Susan was not in the office and they will get back to me the following day if it was ok to do it that day and time. I never received a call back forcing me to call them until I got a response. They advised me that there was an appointment scheduled on Saturday February 28th at 2:00 pm. There was never the promised call back. On Saturday I was driving to the appointment from my home in Orlando to her office in Longwood, when I was already in Longwood only a few minutes from her office her assistance called me and asked if we could move the appointment back. I explained that would be an inconvenience since I was already near the office and came from Orlando. Her assistant told me to hold on while she told Susan this then hung up the phone, probably accidentally, without saying anything else to me. I waited for a call back and nothing. I tried calling the office and got the voicemail. Susan finally answered after another try, I told her I was waiting for a call back and asked if the meeting was still on? She responded with since there was no other options I didnt need to call you back, I didnt realize it was acceptable to hang up on a customer and not call back. Once I got to the office with my mother we sat down and she started the conversation with that she was upset that she couldnt go to a school field trip with her child, I guess this is the reason she wanted to change my appointment time, however she could have called me the day before not a few minutes before. I was trying to explain to her how I was unhappy with the inefficiency of her office which she kept interrupting me. She repeated multiple times that If youre not happy and theres no chemistry you can cancel, She would not let me get a complete sentence out, I finally told her is seemed as if she was the one that wanted to end the contract which she stated 100%. She told me Im giving you this service like its a favor, not that I was paying a lot of money for it. This is after she was extremely rude and unprofessional several times. She canceled a month before my event. Now I am left with trying to find a new decorator that is available. If I am unable find someone else I will be forced to cancel my renewal after purchasing everything else needed and I will be out thousands of dollars. I am obviously frustrated and tremendously disappointed. I would definitely not recommend Longwood Events & Rentals or Susan Furniel for any of your events. Save yourself the heartache.
