Booked a minivan over two weeks in advance for a get away trip and when I came to pick up they didnt have it. We needed the minivan due to little ones so had to settle for an SUV. Wont ever be coming back here. Go to enterprise. They are organized and will have a vehicle for you. Lesson learned this hertz is pretty much a scam to get you to pay the same price for a lesser vehicle.

Absolutely terrible! Reserved a car a week in advance. Left work early to pick it up when they opened. Planned my whole trip around the car reservation just to come in and have them tell me they dont have the vehicle. I reserved a midsized sedan and the only vehicle they had available was a 12 passenger vehicle which would obviously be way too large. Why let people reserves vehicles if you will not have them available? There was no courtesy call or anything prior to let us know that the vehicle wasnt available. We had to find out when we arrived, the day we were supposed to go on our trip. Ive never had a problem like this with Enterprise!

If I could give less than one star I would. The vehicle I reserved wasnt available. The agent didnt mention there would be an additional fee to add me as additional driver on my wifes credit card. The agent had to prepare the rental agreement and prep the car for the rental. There were unmasked workers doing construction on the building. Worst rental experience EVER.

Terrible location. I never post a poor review after one bad experience. This is my third time at this location. The employees work very hard because the manager/owner refuses to hire enough people to service the number of customers that come in. I have never waited less than 30 minutes for service here. The location itself is a mess. It is always dirty and disgusting inside. My third time here will be my last.

The service agent that took care of us at the Longwood Florida location was great. She was very sympathetic and offered all services the way she should have. The young man who brought us the car was very professional as well. I have never done business with Hertz but that changes today. Great customer service!

Long wait time for reps to wash cars I would think that would be done prior to pick up appointment. That time adds up when waiting for multiple washes. Front end of Mustang rental has issues called to try and switch for another convertible told we would have to drive three and a half hours to nearest convertible. Maybe test drive the cars further than the small parking lot to see if any issues from previous rental. We were advised it came from the Airport no way the driver couldnt feel that. What a waste of time and now over $500.00 has to be held on my account. No bueno

Booked a cargo van a week ahead of time. Not only did they not have it, but they didnt even bother to give me a phone call to let me know they didnt have it, just waited for me to waste my time driving out there to get it to tell me oh looks like we dont have one. I had planned my entire weekend around the use of the cargo van and taken time off work. All this frustration would have been avoided with a simple courtesy call saying they couldnt get one for me! Very unprofessional.

Ive been renting from hertz for years. Thousands of dollars. This experience will never bring me back to hertz again. Gold plus for no reason. Ive always paid in advance for my vehicles. After calling to confirm the vehicle I reserved was available I was told it wasnt and that we could grab an suv instead. Upon arriving the mentioned suv was going to be an additional $300. No sorry. No help canceling. Just pushed to the side, I expect this from budget rentals but not hertz. I recommend you go to another location or company.

Slow service. I appreciate fitting me in to retrieve a rental car because of car repair, but I would suggest to have an employee who will focus on making sure the cars are sanitize, while there are employees working the front desk. I feel like I spent too much time there.

Total bait and switch in regards to original reservation that was made at the Longwood, Florida location. Booked a midsize suv and was given a 4 door hatchback vehicle that could barely fit 5 people. Of course was offered another vehicle at an upgraded price. According to the staff hertz classified this vehicle as a midsize suv. It was the Hyundai Kona. I don’t even know how when its manufacturer classifies it as compact.

Staff was great. I walked in about 20 minutes after making an online reservation, showed my ID and I had keys. The whole process was done in about two(2) minutes. Being a gold points (free) member helped with this I think. My return was quick and easy as well. They even gave me a ride home about 15 minutes away. My second rental from this location, both times have been great

Bad service. Guy at front desk isnt well informed he couldnt give me a car for rent cause Im from California and he doesnt know the law right. Honestly, Im upset cause I was there waiting with my baby while he was reading the book and figured it out how everything works for people out of state. Waiting of time and couldnt rent nothing and couldnt explain me the reasons why. He said the first letter of my DL # has to match with my last name never have heard that.

I went to the Longwood location with a reservation. I got there in time for them to tell me they dont have that vehicle, in fact, I reserved the truck and he had zero trucks available. I was then he reserved a different truck for me from my location that he called in Winter Park where I overheard the conversation and the people say they had the vehicle and I can come get it I Google Winter Park Hertz brought up only one location Ive been travel to which is temporarily closed due to the pandemic. Im currently 25 minutes on hold with customer service 37 minutes after the location that was supposed to have my vehicle eyes closed I have no idea if hurts will even help me get my schedule back on track. Ruined my day

We had trouble with the vehicle we rented at first, and since we discussed the issue with management, the staff was able to apologize for the inconvenience and reimbursed our payment.The manager, Alison, helped us out at the end of the day to make sure we were completely satisfied with our service.We appreciate having Hertz down the street from us. We look forward to rent from them again.

I had a reservation made more than 24 hours in advance and a car was not ready. Also our company changed from Enterprise to Hertz because they were going to give us the same service of providing transportation to and from their location. Called this morning @ 10 to schedule a ride for 4:00 PM. Was told to call back closer to pickup time. Called @ 4 and was told all their drivers went home around 1:00PM TO 2:00 PM. Was also told they DIDNT have any cars at that time. Got there at 5:35 PM and car was still not ready. Will be reporting this issue to our travel agency.

We rented a 7 passenger vehicle for our annual family trip from this place and was told there were none available in the entire area in our class. Forcing us to either pay for the upgrade or downgrade to a five passenger vehicle (without receiving a discount). The website didn’t tell us none would be available and we’re not about to have a kid sit in the trunk with a five passenger vehicle. Take your business elsewhere if you don’t want your family trip ruined like ours.

Great service, clean, great selection of cars and the best prices on SUVs especially on weekends. One thing to note is that if you need pick up service and book online the site is incorrect. You have to call the location an hour or so before you need picked up and they will be on time and very courteous. The first time I booked I filled out the online form but that doesnt get to them all the time. Luckily I didnt have to be somewhere at an exact time and they sent someone out right away when I called to inquire about where my pick up was. The second time, everything was easy and on time. I will definitely only use this place as I know I can rely on them to exceed expectations every time!

What they need is better and more cars, which I don’t blame them for at all- people rent from the Longwood area too, and they had a shortage when I pre-ordered mine. They let me know as soon as they could though and kept me aware with every step. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.

Made a reservation and on my way to pick up the car at 5:30pm they call and state they ran out of cars. How does that happen? Reservation was set for today! Do they not know how to count cars? Now I can’t get one at another location tonight cause it’s 6:00pm now and everyone is closed. NEVER use this location if you need reliable transport. Actually, I will NEVER use Hertz again.

He said he had three hours of sleep and couldnt figure it out. Do not rent from this establishment. They clearly dont need the customers. First time using Hertz and I was extremely dissatisfied. The employees were rude and came off as if they just wanted the customers out of there as fast as possible. We had gotten in an accident, which wasnt our fault, so we had to get a car from Hertz. We denied any insurance coverage for the rent a car. An hour later we called to put on partial insurance, which was suppose to be $11.00. He said he couldnt do it over the phone, so we told them okay well we cannot come up there today. An hour later they called us and said we put on the insurance for your car, but our car was ready, so we didnt need the rent a car anymore. The man we talked to said dont worry about it we will not charge you for it then. After two days, we are being charged $24.00. Where did $24.00 come from? After almost 5 phone calls, no one is willing to refund us and they were completely rude and not understanding about the situation at all, even the managers. After a long phone call, the manager said, If its that big of a deal then I can submit for a refund, but it probably wont get approved, this can take up to 3 weeks. I will never recommend anyone to Hertz. I will be using Enterprise from now on.

Avoid!! at all cost. Rented here not by choice. it was the rental place picked by insurance company. This is not the place you want to rent from. The office itself looks old, dirty and not professional at all. Ok, so rented and returned the vehicle. then reviewed my credit card statement. Found a charge on it which was never mentioned to me at time of rental or at time of return. Real shady folks, and not the only one complaining of such charges. look at other reviews. and received same statement when I called them regarding the charge. They dont care. was rude and was trying to talk over me the whole conversation. and they how can I prove that they dont care?? well, look at the reviews. A company that cares about their reputation and customers reviews who answer back here on this forum with a resolution but you dont see any comment by the negative comments on this site, do you?? hmmmmmm. Not only have they lost me as a customer in the future, but others I know will hear of this and they will lose more business, but they dont care anyways.Trust me. and trust the others who are warning you here.

Please avoid this rental location. This is the closest Hertz for rentals for my job but they offer the poorest service. I am a Gold Plus Member and I have never received an upgrade. They consistently give you cars that are not on a full tank and my most previous rental smelled like cigarettes, which I have Asthma so we will just say not a pleasant experience to say the least.

Tues, May 23, 2017Unfortunately, I was recently involved in a auto accident which required me to reach out to a Rental Car Company for Insurance Accident Replacement. I cant begin to explain how pleased I was when the Location Manager, Lovado answered my call, walked me through the process of working with my Insurance Company and Hertz. This young man shared my options for vehicles and went above and beyond with assisting with the selection. He was very flexible with me and my schedule to complete the rental. While, I was extremely disgruntled with the accident and the parties involved, Hertz Companys Longwood Manager Lovado made my experience seemless.
