I think the thing I loved most working with Kustom would be their ability to respect, communicate/work with and be punctual with your timeline. I worked with Mike who worked around my schedule and made sure everything got conducted in a timely fashion and to my comfort of being present. I dont prefer strangers in our house and Mike not only picked up on that but reassured me he could have things done according to my schedule! Thanks Mike and the Kustom team!!

After having a mold remediation company come in to clean up mold in our attic, The people from Kustom came in to reconstruct the ceilings and walls of the rooms affected. Mike and Oscar made sure the paperwork and the project ran smoothly, and if they said they would be there at a specific time they were. We never waited on them. The drywall, trim, and painting work that Efrain, Joel and Luis did was excellent. During construction they did a great job keeping the rest of the house very clean. After completion of the painting they even put all of the furniture back where it was, and they werent the people that moved it out for the project. We are very happy with the quality of their work. And would absolutely call them again for any remodeling project.

We had the neighbors large tree fall on the back corner of our garage roof. Big hole in the roof, crushed the gate as well as a good portion of the fence, also damage to some underground pipe for irrigation. It was raining and we were at work, so there was also water damage to the ceiling inside the garage. It was a big job.Tom from Kustom US came out right away, was on time, professional & very thorough!Tom was the project manager & was so responsive and ready to answer questions or address concerns.He coordinated all the trades involved which made it so smooth for us. Our company has and does use Kustom for many projects. David Bagg initiated the remediation and tear out then handed it off to Tom Johnson who is our current project manager for the rebuild on a fairly complicated building renovation-repair. Both of them have been available nights, weekends and even on a holiday when we had concerns with temporary logistics as it was not a total building shut down. Happy with the communication and working through the surprises that came up has been a positive experience.

I hired Kustom US after having a roof leak into my home. Tom Johnson from Kustom came out and accessed the damage and started the drying process immediately. The employees of the Boca Raton location were assigned to rebuild my kitchen cabinet under the sink, and did a marvelous job.Including Adelita the project manager,Billy, Darnell, and Eric who was the estimator.I was very pleased with the job that they did which looked better than the original cabinet by the time they were done. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring rebuilding, or reconstruction.

He was kind and professional and was understanding that my 82 year old recently widowed mother was in a tough place and on her own. This company stole thousands of dollars for construction work that was supposed to be completed after fire damage at our home over 3 years ago. We wasted 1.5 years with this company hoping to restore our home but they took money worth the contract while having done not even 1/3 of the work. We had the most horrible experience with this company and they kept asking for more money without finishing any of the tasks they were supposed to do. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to hire them as a construction/home repair company. We have suffered an indescribable loss of money and have been away from our house for years due to their fraudulent activity. They try to cheat with you and everyone should STAY AWAY from them

We used Kustom for restoration after a water leak in our kitchen. Tom Johnson was our project manager and was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Although Covid caused a few setbacks, he was on top of things and guided us through next steps and options as we worked to restore our kitchen. We highly recommend Tom!

Our insurance adjuster recommended Kustom US, but I do not. This company did the bathroom floor restoration work after we had a water tank rupture in our rental property. The installation quality was subpar. Glue was left showing around parts of the toilet base, baseboards werent property fastened, one bathroom tile clearly cut a few cm short, and they still decided to glue it in. Now I have a subfloor showing in the gap.It seems like they new it was a rental, so they just slammed through the work.The worst part of it all, when I reached out to our Project Manager Imel about the gap, he responded with, because we didnt specifically point out their mistake during the punch list portion of wrapping up, they werent going to fix it. How about their employees just dont install materials that they clearly botched? If they do on accident, take ownership of the shortcoming! Just plain crazy to me.

This company is a preferred company with my home owners insurance. They were called in to remove a very large live oak tree that fell and damaged both my property and my neighbors property. They worked in tandem with the neighbors and got the whole tree removed in about 5 hours. They left the site clean and undamaged. They were also nice enough to cut us a few pieces of the tree to keep and use for tables. Very happy with the results.

I have had a great experience working with Kustom US for mold remediation on my two bathrooms. I worked directly with David who set up the process and was very quick to respond and provided me updates throughout the process. I had a nightmare experience working with my own insurance company but did not have an issue reaching out to Kustom US with any questions. They were always very professional and the job was done well. I would recommend them and plan to use them again.

I would never recommend Kustom US. My job in Florida took over 9 moths to complete which left us displaced. They terminated during this time 3 PMs. I sent over 200 e-mails to them on the job asking what was going on. the condo is less than 1600 sq.ft. They also misquoted the job and decided to add on to my bill. Sorry but I would never do business with this company again, it was disappointing and took a lot of my time to manage the project.

Kustom came to our business to clean and repair after a fire. Everything not specifically damaged by the fire was cleaned, refreshed and ready to move in. Chairs were misplaced and trashcans were missing from their original locations, but I think we found them all. It would be better if when they were cleaning and moving things, if they labeled everything that they moved, so that it could be put back in the same places. But I think this is also an unknown expectation that could be managed through better communication.

Teach your employees driving on the turnpike is not a demolition derby. One of your trucks is cutting off vehicles and almost caused 3 accidents.

Paul and his team were quick to respond when our house sustained significant water damage from Hurricane Florence. Paul is great at educating newbies on navigating the insurance and restoration process. The crew was impressively efficient with the demolition and clean-up, and a pleasure to have in our home. I have worked with many contractors in my field and this is the WORST company. They are completely non-responsive and will not return phone calls at all after you sign the contract, they charge for work they did not perform and then at the end of the job my tenant said they stole some of their jewelry! Worst company ever. Don’t waste your time!

DISAPPOINTED - My experience with David @ Kustom US in Longwood, Fl. My insurance company provided me a few companies to choose from for a ceiling leak. I chose Kustom US because they were the first company listed, and the closest to my location.The workers were quick to respond, next day, they were informative, respectful and knowledgeable. They placed a tarp with sand bags on my home. I was very pleased. A few days later the wind blow it up, I notified them, again next day, they tied it down again, the tarp blow off 2 additional times, they came back.. Now we are at approx 30 days in, the tarp blow off again this time in PIECES, all over the yard. I called them again, then I went to Home Depot and purchased a 10mil tarp. But I was not home when they came (I thought they would replace) since the tarp was torn and all over the yard. They tied down the remainder of the torn tarp. I contacted them again, sent pictures of it all over the yard, asking if they would place the NEW one I purchased on the home? I have sent David, several texts, since July 27, 2019 and so far he has decided NOT to reply. I was informed by one of the workers that the tarp is only guaranteed for 30 days.. Now they charged Exactly $1313.86 to installed this 5 mil tarp, that I had to pick it up from my yard in pieces to trash it. I’m trying to add pictures here. I do not recommend this company, because communication is important to me.. I’m also informing my insurance company they should be removed from their list.

We had a water leak on second floor that leaked through first floor ceiling. When Dave, Tom and Cody were through, every remnant of the damage was gone. This included removing the mold/fungus, the plumbing, floor (and sub-floor), replacing the ceiling and making everything match. They worked with the insurance company and made the claim stress-free. I highly recommend them.

During the past hurricane I encountered some wind damage to my roof. My insurance company passed my information to Kustom US. Once they arrived at my house they did a walk around and took photos and didnt leave anything unnoticed and had my roof trapped the next day in the morning and it looks great! With going through an experience like a hurricane you want to encounter friendly companies who truly care and I would recommend them to anyone looking for that! Since my kitchen was only 4 years old I was not willing to give up the beautiful cupboards I had. David and his staff worked diligently to find someone to just replace the inside casings. My kitchen cupboards were hung and ready to be filled. Any outside repair was matched perfectly in color so all looked brand new! When it comes to top service, professional staffing and the genuine care for clients, David and Kustom US, Inc. come out on the top of my list!

We had mandatory a evacuation from our home because of hurricane Florence on Tuesday, September 11. We were not able to return to our home until Tuesday, September 18. We contacted Paul from Kustom on Thursday, September 20. Steve and Paul came to our home the very same day to check for water damage. Every wall, ceilings, floors, furniture etc. was registering over 100% water. Paul and his crew moved in the Friday or Saturday to begin to remove walls, ceilings, floors, etc. Our home was a “total gut”. Paul is definitely one of the most professional, personal, understanding, compassionate, and business knowledgeable person we have met in a very, very long time! He not only listen to our total disbelief, any many concerns and tears, and also guided us through the entire demolition portion of this project. Kustom US doesnt get back to you. Had them come out and review a project in Puyallup Washington. They said all the right things and told me they would take care of me. We have the money to pay and were waiting to get it done. Never heard from them again. On top of that, their customer service line just seems you into a loop that doesnt let you leave a message. Calling a different company today. Waste of my time.

I had one of their project manager Joel come over to give us a quote for the insurance, he gave a very low quote (half as much as our contractor wanted to charge for the job) but when I asked for the estimate to be sent to my email, he said he would not send it to me, but if I wanted the job done I had to wait for my insurance to pay ( even though he was sent by my insurance company) and I had to pay him for the work, but he would not send me the estimate. This just sound dishonest, they seem to be working with the insurance to give an estimate below the cost to repair the damage, but they dont want to do the job since the estimate is too low. I dont trust this company, and the fact they are not able to send the same estimate to me, as they send to the insurance just shows they have no ethics.

Paul Pfeiderer arrived at my home on N. Topsail Beach after Florence within 10 minutes of me calling him for the first time. He professionally assessed my home and talked with my adjuster. Paul made me feel calm and confident in a disastrous situation. He answered every text and phone call immediately even on his babys first birthday. Paul answered all my questions and even recommended and advised my builder. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough! I am so thankful that I was lucky enough to have Paul recommended to me. All around terrible experience with this company. We were told for 6 weeks straight that work was going to begin the following week and that we would have a schedule of repairs by the end of the week. Work never started. All they managed to do was take our cabinets out of the house, which had already been disassembled. There was zero follow up. The company provided every excuse under the sun as reason for the 6 weeks worth of delays. Good luck getting a hold of anybody who cares. We were told time and time again that our project manager would follow up with us by a certain day but guess what, he didnt. Very frustrating working with these people, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! We were very patient and I understand unexpected things come up and deadlines change and thats okay, but being deceived for 6 weeks straight is unacceptable.

I had a dead line given to me for 4 months and they are still not finished with my home. September of this year will make two years. They let it rain in my home for months before replacing a tarp and putting a roof on, just so they could charge my insurance company twice for drying out my house and removing mold. They replaced light fixtures outside of my home that was not even the same color, I had previously. They gave the ok to move in my home a week ago. I have broken and missing tile in my bathroom floor they broke, I have a broken bathroom window, they broke, no my counter tops have not been replaced, so I cant prepare food. Their dumpster is still in my back yard and I even had a brand new chicken coop stolen. And get this, they had a storage company pack up my home and they fees are up to $16,000..It is shamful!

I had a small ceiling repair job to do in my home, The representative that came to my house lied to my face saying that my insurance had authorized him to do a large demolition and do extra repairs, he told me that insurance was pressuring him to finish and insurance would also be paying for everything.I then contacted my insurance and found out that he was lying and he was not even authorized to do any repairs yet, he was trying to do the large demolition and repair to create an expensive invoice that I would have end up paying for.Beware of this scammers

She was excellent with a great eye for color coordination. Is this some type of insurance Fraud Company? They owe me over $12,000 and looks like will have to sue. Make complaint with department of insurance.

Greg, I am in the same boat. Invoice past 60 days due. They sent me a check for the half the invoice total and the day after I received it they called me to tell me that they were going to put a stop payment on it because they said the insurance company didnt approve our invoice and that we needed to further break down the charges. This after their insurance adjuster, their project manager, and our owner agreed to the estimated costs. No one returns phone calls/emails and no one in their AP department can answer any questions. Half the time all the key players on my account are on vacation and the only people in A/P department only print checks. We filed a complaint with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Maybe you should give that a try.
