Mir is simply the best. If you are looking for an honest and capable mechanic then look no further. I stumbled into Mirs garage years ago and wont go anywhere else. He tells you what HAS to be fixed now, what COULD be fixed now, and what can WAIT. Thats fantastic when youre on a budget! He treats my husband and I with the same respect (that seems rare in an auto mechanic) and I value it. He has saved me $$$ multiple times and kept both a new car and junker running. I have been coming here for 8 years, Mir and his team have kept my car safe and running for that entire time. They break down what needs to be done and dont do any major work without your approval. Thankfully, Mirs Autoworks informed me it was a spilled oil container in the bed of my truck leaking onto the underbody. They didnt hand me a bill for unnecessary repairs. What more can I say! On the face of it, and from my test drive, the car seemed to be a good condition, with not much really wrong.I just chanced upon this place as I was test driving my car, and after speaking to them I decided to have have them check the car before I bought it - and thank god I showed it to them!Their car inspection was very fairly priced at 39.99$, and they did a thorough inspection, which bought up a load of issues with the car, which were going to cost me way more than the cars price!!Mr. Mir suggested to me clearly that I should return this vehicle and keep looking.Both him and his son Matt, were very forthright in their suggestion about my car, and I REALLY appreciated it.This is a family-run business that is highly professional, courteous, helpful, and with their integrity intact, unlike a lot of similar places.Thanks a million, Mirs AutoWorks Inc. for your integrity and fantastic work.I would definitely go back to them if Im in the area, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mechanic in general, in the area.

Hes done small and large jobs for us and relatives. It doesnt look like much from outside, but shop is well kept. Needs more parking, but thats a problem right along there. He just replaced our transmission, and my sister in laws whole motor a year or so ago. We trust him.

Its still a wonder to me thats its so difficult to find a quality service provider for our vehicles (i.e. - fair, honest, reasonably priced—and Ill take nice to work when I can get it). Mir and his wife have provided both a personal and professional service for our family since we relocated to the area. They have been transparent and focused on our interests on every service weve had with them, to the point where theyve sacrificed the opportunity for profit in the short term simply for my benefit (and perhaps because they felt it was simply the right thing to do). This—and the way Mir almost seems to experience my same pain on the inevitable larger repairs that none of us love have done lol—is what wins me as a long term customer at my visit. No shop in this space is perfect, and theyve been quick to respond with a good solution when Ive brought up a concern. Also, should go without saying, but they answer their phones, communicate frequently, and service the vehicle pretty quickly—which Ive found stands out with shops. Not easy to recommend a mechanic, but I have to many friends and family and will continue to do so! Great work, guys!

Greatest mechanic in town. Its owner operated and you will be so glad you brought your car here. They are very honest and helpful. I thought I needed way more work done on my car many times, but they will only fix what actually needs fixing and not try to hose me. I always leave knowing I am being taken care of and not taken advantage of. This is hard to find in auto care. Dont even hesitate to bring your car here...you too will be thankful.

(Short and sweet) Took our family car in for a new part. Mechanic backs the car into something which causes cosmetic damages. No pictures and no phone call. NO PICTURES COULD YOU IMAGINE. Called us AFTER he took the car to whoever to “fix it” and it seriously looked like Helen Keller painted it. I’m being nice. We weren’t happy with the job but still willing to pay. After telling my Dad how much time, money, and effort he so called put into our car MIR stated HE no longer wanted to conduct business with us and to have our car towed off his lot. Wow. Then out of spite he took the new part he fixed in our car OUT. Karma karma karma. This was the third shady strike for my family.

I had a really nice experience here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I interacted with Susan, Mir, and James - all super nice. I was sold on this place when I needed new tires. I called to ask for a quote for the brand of tires I already had on my car and Susan was really nice and got me on the phone with her husband, Mir. Mir recommended a different brand/type of tire for my car as the kind I had on my car was only lasting me a fraction of the miles compared to the other one. In the 10 years I have owned my car not one other mechanic has helped me with this. I was constantly changing my tires over the years. They helped to order the tires for me and got them installed timely. They also helped me with a brake change and shock change and noticed an issue with my battery terminal, which I had noticed before but didn’t think it was problematic at the time. They got my car upgraded with the changes it needed. They were very informative throughout the process and helped answer all of my questions. Pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to other shops in the area. Reasonable pricing and honest work is what I have been looking for. I will be bringing my car for future repairs and general maintenance. Even after I got my car back they were more than helpful. I noticed a loud rattling sound from the back of my car and after my husband and I did some investigating we couldn’t determine the source. When we brought my car back in they immediately took a look at it and got the noise to stop within 20 minutes time. This is the place to go for great work!

My only disappointment is that I didnt discover this place sooner. I needed my scratched rear bumper repainted and Mirs was recommended to me by my insurance carrier. The shop gave me an estimate the day I called, which was about $200 less than another quote I had gotten that same day, and took my car in for the work the very next day. When it was scheduled to be picked up, Mir himself called me to say he wanted the job redone, as the color didnt quite match, and he didnt feel right giving it back to me looking this way. I was blown away by his honesty and integrity. My car needed a couple extra days, but it was well worth it, and I very much appreciated it. Friendly staff, excellent work, fair prices, and strong integrity make this my new go-to shop if I need any other serious work done to any of my vehicles. I plan to recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Being a young girl cluess about cars, a trip to the mechanic has always been a nightmare whether or not someone was going to be honest with me. Luckily Ive had my father, an old mechanic, that I could call after every estimate to confirm whether or not I was being scammed. 99% of the shops I visit have always tried to charge me for something I didnt need, if I didnt have my father to double check with, I could of been scammed for thousands over the years. Ive been going into Mirs the last 2 years and they have never once tried to scam me for anything. Every visit here has been an honest interaction. The owner, his wife, and the employees have all been very personable and friendly. This is the type of establishment I am happy to spend my money at. I recommend this vehicle repair shop. Mir knows his way around a tool box and is fair in his pricing. He doesnt gouge the price even though he could if he wanted to. The best part is that both times I was there he was busy but he knew all his customers by their first name.

Mirs is a family owned business on 17/92 in Longwood, and it is obvious they truly care about their customers. It is unfortunately such a rarity to find a trustworthy mechanic in todays world. Mir is the ONLY person I trust with my car and my daughters car. I tell everyone I know about his honesty, integrity and fair prices if they mention anything at all about the servicing of their cars. Mirs wife, Susan, is usually at the front desk and she knows quite a bit about vehicles herself. As soon as the maintenance contract ends on my new cars they go to Mirs until I want something else. I will never go anywhere else for car repairs.

1st time there and I was impressed with the honesty I saw given to customers. A ladies car was brought in with multiple issues and he figured out that car was still under manufacturer warranty so he told her to take back to dealership and she wont have to pay for repairs. He could have fixed the problems and made money but he didnt . I will be going there from now on.
