From the minute I walked through the door I knew this was going to be good. My son & his wife used Martys when they lived in Lake Mary. This was my first experience and I was not disappointed. Oil change was done and -------since we had it up, we rotated the tires, they were due. WHO DOES THIS? Wow, was I impressed with the initiative! When the new alternator I installed was not charging, and none of the usual suspects appeared to be the cause, I took it to the experts at Martys. They located and repaired wiring that had been damaged. Always professional. Always clear in their communication. Always backed by knowledge and experience. Martys is the ONLY place to go.

I had my breaks done. Over the weekend my breaks started grinding. I called the office and they told me to come down and they will examine my car and go from there. I needed rear breaks,rotors and pads. They were very professional and extremely understanding how I needed to get it done that day. Top Notch Customer ServiceJohn is very professional and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. The brake job was perfect and I picked up my car the next day, just as they promised. My Lexus dealer indicated that the drive belts were dry and should be replaced, but Martys indicated that they were still in very good condition and did not need replacing. Since my car is no longer under extended warranty I will use Martys Auto Works as my go to mechanic. Great company and great staff.

I was really looking for a shop to build a long term business relationship with. We have 3 cars that need regular maintenance/repairs. We decided to try Marty’s for a fairly large repair ($500 or so) based on a friend’s referral. Went to pick up the car and absolutely no one in this place wears a mask. Not even while you’re checking out and have no choice but to be 2 feet away from them. Won’t go back. Told the friend that referred me and he said he won’t be going back either. If you don’t care about my safety enough to wear a piece of cloth over your face for 3 min, how much do you really care about my safety driving in my car?

I went in because the switch on my window busted. They charged me $73 to put my window up when I told them I would be in on Thursday to replace the component. Its not the motor it was just the switch which was going to cost me $179 Plus labor. I felt taken advantage of in a situation they knew I needed to rectify. I will not go there to have them replace the component I will not give them another dime.

We’ve been going to Marty’s since we moved to Florida. The mechanics are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I recently had the privilege of John, working on my Vette. John’s incredible, he pretty much knew right away what was wrong and had it fixed ASAP! John is a Corvette enthusiast and if you need your Vette worked on, call Marty’s and ask for John... he knows Corvettes and I’m grateful to have a mechanic locally that I can trust.

I’ve been using Marty’s To service our cars for 8 years and have never been disappointed. Their prices are reasonable and I’ve never been pressured to do additional repairs that were not necessary. On two occasions their repair did not work after I drove the car for a few days but they took the car back in, found an additional problem and did not charge me. I would definitely recommend them.

I had been using the manufacturer dealer for service. On my last visit to them I was told that I would be needing rear brakes, right and left lower control arms and work on the rack and pinion steering.... it totaled $2,700.So I went to Martys Auto Works, showed the work schedule for 67,000 miles from the maintenance book, asked that they pay attention to the brakes and suspension. When I went to pick up the car it was under $100.00. I asked about the brakes, control arms and r/p steering and they said that they were inspected and are O.K. and estimated brakes at 75,000 and maybe never for the r/p and control arms. Their honesty has made me a new customer.

Awesome experience - my daughter went for an oil change - fair price - better than the larger chain stores for sure. Treated her with respect. Explained what they did - didnt act like she was dumb because she was a) female and b) young - she was very pleased and so was I. Great value and customer service.

Brought my vehicle to have timing belt/water pump changed among other things and it went well, a few days after picking my truck up i was driving and the engine shut off and wouldnt start. I had it towed to martys and they had it fixed in 3 days with no extra charge. Not sure if the truck stopping running was due to their mistake or not but in any case they took care of it, thats why I chose them based on their reviews and long running reputation in the central Florida area.

I had my newly purchased 95 campervan (Roadtrek 190 Popular) serviced for an overall inspection as well as an issue that I was having with a draining starting battery. Upon inspection, Martys Auto Works were able to determine the cause of what was draining the battery and provided a fair- if not generous- price. I already booked my second appointment to replace my worn engine mounts/idler arm and am confident that my van - we named him Elliot ;) - will be in good hands! Highly impressed with their customer service and knowledgeable expertise!

Brought my vehicle in for stalling issue they charged me $100 to diagnose my truck and didnt even diagnose it said they couldnt find a code so obviously they dont have the expertise or care to look elsewhere. On top of that charged me $50 to charge my a/c that only lasted a day, and the guy acted like he was giving me a great deal. So $150 down the drain dont waste your time or money on these crooks.

Martys did a great job on my Jaguar. They kept me informed as to the progress and issues found and proposed solutions. They even found a replacement part that was no longer available from the OEM. I plan to use them on for future work and other vehicles.

This the second time taking my 2001 Honda Accord to Martys Auto. The first time my 188+ I miles car was going cross country and back. It cost me under 2k and worth every penny. When headlights needed adjusting when we returned to Florida...no problem.Just recently went back at over 207 k miles I thought the car was a goner...not so...got fixed for under $300. Bottom line is they are honest, know what they are doing and trustworthy. So as a 72 y.o woman I am truly grateful they are there for me.

I had been experiencing electrical issues with my truck for weeks. Brought it to the Ford dealership, who then found more reasons to charge me for other work and then failed to fix the electrical issue. I brought it back two more times to the dealer who continued to fail to fix the issue. Electrical issues are sometimes hard to pinpoint and they seemed uninterested in getting to the root of the problem. They essentially told me they couldn’t help me after the third time I brought it back. So I went to Marty’s. The guys were able to figure it out on the first try and were great to deal with personally. I’ll be bringing my truck back to them if/when future needs arise.

Honest and dependableI have been taking my cars to Martys for probably 8 or more years. I have found them always to be honest about what is needed and the price as reasonable as can be expected. Whats more important to me, is they stand behind the work that they do. On one occasion I took my car in to have the fan motor repaired, forgetting that they worked on it before. When I picked up the car there was no charge and I asked about it. They said they had replaced it once before and the new one was under warranty. They had a record of all work done in the past! Nice people to work with! A little out of my way but worth the drive.

I brought my brother’s car to be evaluated after previously taking it to a dealership.The dealership originally put a battery in, but, my brother still had trouble starting it.I bring it back to dealer and they had a long list of things it needed, including the new starter, that would cost, $672.00. Total of services they said was needed,$1,127.00. I was just about to give the go ahead, when a friend from Lake Mary Life Magazine said, she’s been going to Marty’s for years and see what they say.Final story, Marty’s kept the car most the day, trying to find something wrong. They tightened the new battery wires that the dealership neglected to do, which most likely caused it to be tricky to start. They found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG! I needed not one of the services the dealer listed. I was shocked.And, Marty’s refused to take any money.If anyone is looking for an outstanding car repair company, GO NO WHERE ELSE BUT MARTY’s!!!

Very impressed with the Honesty of Martys Auto Works. When the mystery of why my battery was draining was solved, they replaced the new alternator that was installed with my old original one and the anticipated charges were greatly reduced. Wonderful friendly service that puts the customer first.

Per her feedback everyone at Martys Auto Works was fantastic.They shuttled her home for free while they worked on the car. When they found out they needed a special $300 tool to properly perform a service they ran out and bought it at no cost to her. Kudos to them for not rigging something up that could have potentially damaged the vehicle just to get the job done like some other shops would.The fact they went the extra mile for her speaks volumes. They earned a repeat customer that day. Highly recommended.
