Great experience.

I admit they were originally my second choice. I went to a big box store that claimed to have a better price. After a couple of weeks the other store had a contractor call me and tell me that since I was the only customer in Longveiw who wanted blinds it wasn’t worth the trip from up north to measure my window and order my blind. So I searched for someone local.A friendly lady answered the phone, set up an appointment for only a couple of days away, they came exactly on time and called before they came. The young man brought samples for us to compare, was knowledgeable and explained the differences between the products we were considering. Once we decided he put the order thru, and when it came they had it installed in a timely manner. I could not have been happier with their service, & the plus was I got to do business with a local.

We moved into our newer home with no window coverings. After we decided we wanted blinds, we contacted Budget Blinds of Longview.They called immediately and we set up an appointment to look over our choices (there were many!). The measurements and installation was all done by Budget blinds. All I had to do was chose the blinds I wanted where. It was so easy, and quick. They were installed quickly and look great. I am so glad we did this, and I recommend Budget Blinds to anyone looking to get new window coverings, or even to look and see what is available to you. Budget blinds is amazing! They recently installed 6 large bedroom blinds on remote controls & they look amazing. Dillon helped us pick out the perfect style & color for our home. We have used budget blinds for quite a few years now. They have done our home a couple times and several of our rentals. We’ve always been happy with their work. Randy comes out measures, gives us a quote and then installs them. It makes it so easy. If there’s a problem they take care of it promptly. You could probably do it cheaper by doing your own by buying at the big box stores but with Budget blinds, they do all the work correctly the first time, with better quality and come with a warranty.

Budget Blinds has done what they said they would do, I am working with Dillon to change the rail on the patio door,to a wand instead of the pulley type which is a better system,but its not working out for me, Im more than happy to give Budget Blinds a thumbs up. Elvin Spence

We went with the Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds, The wand mechanisms are different now with no unsightly strings to deal with . Dillon was polite and fixed the mechanism issue promptly. He was early and well prepared with the the knowledge of the product he was fixing. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

We had Dillon help us and we were very satisfied: He arrived promptly, gave my wife great aesthetic advice in every room, and ultimately helped us put us various window coverings in every room in our new home. They seem to have many styles, materials, colors and configurations to help facilitate whatever fits your particular home. We are up in the mountains, surrounded by fir trees, and he helped us get shades that draw from the bottom up, which nicely masked neighbor views below, but enabled us to see the beautiful long vistas of mountain ranges that surround us. There were a couple of issues on some of the shades, which is to be expected, and he arrived back promptly when a replacement arrived to install them. This is a polite, talented, professional salesperson/installer/repair person. I think you could do a lot worse given the many companies that are primarily focused on up-selling and forgetting you as soon as they receive payment. This is a quality company with great people, like Dillon and his brother who helped him complete the job. Randy

We contacted Randy at Budget Blinds a few years ago to replace window coverings in our home. He arrived on time and was very business like. After several questions, we received very knowledgeable answers and were able to make a good decision. The blinds he recommended, 2 and 1/2 inches, arrived on time and were installed quickly. I wasnt sure of my choice at first but a few days later I knew it was the right choice. We have been very pleased and decided to replace a broken shade in the master bedroom. After a slight problem, they arrived and were installed. Randy was great to work with. He has a great design sense and I would highly recommend him. We absolutely love our mechanized blinds. It took some time to get them all set up and working in tandem, but Randy stuck it out and he had to do it all without power as we lost power approx. 10 minutes before he arrived to our home for the install. Randy was great at explaining all the options without pressuring me to go outside my budget. The blinds didnt take long too arrive and he installed them in a timely manner. We had one small issue with some of the blinds not fitting right, but he was to correct that issue quickly. I also like that these have a really good warranty and if we have any issues, we can call Randy to fix it, not some cooperate office in another state. I would recommend Budget Blinds to anyone looking for quality blinds that will stand the test of time.

Over 5 years ago we bought some horizontal blinds (from another company) for our rec room sliding glass door. They ended up getting all cattywampus and wouldnt close properly. No on-line tutorial could help. I called Budget Blinds to see if they had any tips. The owner Randy came over (twice!), figured it out and fixed it. No charge. Talk about service! We werent even his customer.If I ever need blinds, Im going straight to him.

I called twice, left messages, and no one returned them. Swung by later in the afternoon, thinking maybe its better to stop in. No one there. Then called one more time the next day, and no call back once again. Its been about a week and a half now, and apparently they dont want my business.Update: they just called me back, three weeks after I left my messages. So there you go. Unfortunately I went with another company who came out on time, on budget, and installing in a few days.

Randy came and measured all my windows at my new house in early spring last year .Since the trim, walls interior and exterior doors and french doors still needed to be painted Randy kept my bid close at hand and responded to my updates with encouraging words and his promise to keep me in the loop in case the prices were about to go up. His tenacity and gracious demeanor was very much appreciated . I recently contacted him again before Christmas to let him know i was just waiting on a bonus that would be delayed so starting the process had to wait. He was quick with his reply to avoid the price increase expected in 2018, so I ordered 11 Performance Faux Wood blinds with 3 and 1/4 custom mitered crown molding and 5 Pure Vu Honeycomb w/ light blocking blinds for 2 french doors and one exterior glass view door .Randy was instrumental in helping me to decide what kind of blinds would best suit the house and all of the extra large windows I had installed during the process of construction. His expertise helped me frame the views of Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens with the Cowlitz River below as well as taking into consideration my budget and what would enhance the rooms when the blinds were closed . I would not hesitate to recommend Budget Blinds and Randy to anyone who is interested in updating or purchasing for the first time, his knowledge and quiet consideration and relaxed style made this the most relaxing part of the new home construction process. I only wish the rest of the build was as easy to decide which to pick!

Randy came all the way from Longview to Westport to give us an estimate for about 20 plus shades in our new house addition and also for our bedroom. We liked his presentation and professionalism. The order came, and randy installed everything to perfection. At a later date, I recommended his services to the WSBHS, who was looking to replace some old worn out drapes in the lens room at the Lighthouse. Randy climbed the 135 steps to the top to take the proper measurements and advised us what type of shade we would need to protect the original Fresnel Lens in the lens room. That order was also delivered in no time at all. Randy was even able to get us a special discount from Budget Blinds, since we are a non profit organization. Not only do the blinds protect the valuable lens at the lighthouse in Westport, WA, they also look great.Thanks Randy.

Randy was very pleasant when he came to the house and sold us blinds. We paid $3000+ for 2 1/2-inch plastic blinds throughout our 2320 sq ft home. The product has not lived up to his promises however. The slats have been twisted ever since they were installed (i.e. when the blinds are open and the left side of each slat is perpendicular to the wall, the right side of each slate is slanted toward the floor so that each slat is slightly twisted and doesnt lie flat). He told us the twisting of the slats was normal (a different story than he told us prior to us signing the sales agreement). He also said he would give a $50 gift card to the people who referred us to him which he never did even after we reminded him twice. I would not buy this overpriced inferior product again and I would order my blinds elsewhere.

Moving into a new home we contracted to have budget blinds install 10 window blinds, two silhouette blinds for a 12 sliding glass door, one 8 exterior glass door shade, and three window roll-up shades in a home office. Their consultant really knew her profession. She advised us on the best type of blinds and shades for each window/door that would match our home style and interior colors. She also worked to keep it within our budget. We did have one blind failure but Budget Blinds was out within a week to make the repair. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. And this is a legit review. I am a retired US Army officer and I have high standards for any contractor/supplier.
