Finally ! Erika knows how to cut curly hair. This is the best cut I have had ever. She cut it dry, who knew thats what you are supposed to do. Perfect! Great place.

I could pay less somewhere else but dont feel Id be pleased with the color and more the cut. I have very thick coarse hair. I feel like a million bucks when I leave$$$

We were recommended to come to this salon to see a color specialist. Not only did my sister not get the color she wanted but the dye used ruined her curly hair and we paid over $200. I understand not being able to please all your customer but at least show that you care. We have called the salon several times explaining our problem and have either been ignored or rudely addressed. I’m not the person to post bad reviews but this has been an awful experience.

I loved the way my hair was cut and will return here to keep up with my haircut. I also liked the way its decorated and it is handicap accessible. The stylist let me stay in my wheelchair to get my hair cut. I thought that was major cool points. Although the pricing is a bit steep for a haircut or even a trim. 😊💜🌍✌

I first started coming here for a haircut within the last year. It was great. The cuts were the best that I have had. Since then, the price of a mens haircut have increased, but the quality of the haircuts have gone down significantly. My last three cuts have been bad. In addition, I waited over 20 minutes for my scheduled haircut this past weekend and finally decided to inform the front desk scheduler and then left. I do not plan on coming back for haircuts until it improves.

I got my haircut here before and one lady didnt listen to what i had to say, and didnt even pay attention to the images i had shown her for the style i was looking for.since i have thin fine hair you cant take chunks out of it and rush through cutting it. She didnt take the time to pull it up and cut layer my layer like your suppose to. She made it look uneven and difficult to style. I was disappointed given the reviews, and money i had spent here for a decent haircut and didnt get it.

Brittany Marshall and her colleague April Byram are professional and skilled hair stylists. These accomplished women are experts at color processing and are current on the latest techniques. I could not ask for more from a salon. Longview is fortunate to have such talent.

I went to Mady Slone for a bolyage and cut a few weeks ago, and I’ve gotten unlimited compliments on how gorgeous my hair looks!! Mady is definitely one of the BEST colorists I’ve ever worked with - not to mention one of the sweetest Texas beauties around! Mady and the entire staff at Rumours are always warm and professional, and the salon itself is clean, smells good and has an inviting, relaxing vibe. It’s also super affordable (especially compared to Dallas, where I live) and easy to get in for an appt.

I wont go back sadly. I was a regular customer until one of the top people completely messed up my hair. We agreed I could go blonde and this person bleached my hair. A few weeks later my hair has fallen out beyond recognition. Not only did she insult me by not acknowledging that she messed it up but, did not give me the haircut that I had also scheduled to try and make it look somewhat better instead of sending me away looking like a scarecrow. (She had another customer come in and time ran over) I dont have a problem with screwing up my hair...Ive done it before myself. Plenty of times. Its just that I could tell she knew she messed it up then just sent me out the door.

Do not let Lauren touch your hair. Asked for a trim about 2-3 inches and got at least 6 inches cut off. Also wanted my hair to come to a v in the back and ended up with my hair cut straight across.

My review is for Brittany Marshall at Rumours... ladies if you are like me ... searching for a hairstylist please make the appt and see her. I have always had my hair cut/colored high and low light by one person my entire life. However moving to Longview and placing my roots here i was desperately in need of a skilled and talented hairstylist. Brittany is artfully the definition of a colorist, patient, polite and addresses all ideas and questions. She easily put my nerves at ease. I was greeted by her assisant April Byrum ... they each work on a level system. April showed great potential. Paying attention and I saw great style potential in her. I walked in with some nerves and walked out as the woman i am. Very confident that i did do my research and i was paired with a wonderful hairstylist... my opinion: a hairdresser can just cut. ABC like they are taught in school . A hairstylist is comfortable with developing her own unique style ...hence hairstylist. Ladies remember you pay for their time and skills so do not let price keep you from looking your best. Ask for Brittany Marshall when making your appt.

I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and myself. He had never had a massage before and I knew Rumours was the perfect place to break him in 😉. Both the staff and the massage therapists were very professional and we both left feeling rejuvenated!
